Med hopp om en bättre framtid

FC Rosengård driver Framtidsprojektet som en del i sitt integrationsskapande arbete. Projektet följer två klasser från Rosengårdsskolan från sjunde klass till första året på gymnasiet, där meningen med projektet är att vara förberedande inför gymnasieval, förberedande inför yrkesval, att ge en inblick i föreningslivet och att ge deltagarna en meningsfull fritidssysselsättning.Syftet med denna uppsats är att skapa en förståelse för hur de delaktiga inom projektet upplever Framtidsprojektet och vilken utveckling av deltagarna som anses ske. Resultaten visar att respondenterna inte upplever Framtidsprojektet som ett integrationsprojekt utan som ett skolprojekt som skulle kunna drivas på vilken skola som helst. Det finns dock anledningar till att detta stöd behövs mer på Rosengårdskolan än andra skolor. Många elever beskrivs inte ha förstått skol – eller betygsystem och många anses sakna vuxenstöd utanför skolan gällande sin skolgång. Projektet bygger på en röd tråd, där deltagare genom att välja intresseområden skall få information om olika gymnasieskolor och program, för att sedan prova på olika yrken genom praktik på arbetsplatser. Denna röda tråd har bland annat lett till att deltagare har fått en större förståelse för hur högstadieskola, gymnasieskola och yrkesliv hör ihop. Deltagare menar att de främst har utvecklats genom att ha fått möjligheten att prova olika yrken och därmed inte bara funnit intressanta yrken inför framtiden utan även fått insikter i vilka yrkesområden de inte vill arbeta inom. Genom att kunna sortera bort olika yrken kan de istället koncentrera sig på relevanta områden. Några deltagare anser även att projektet har fått dem mer intresserade av skolan och att de nu lägger ner mer tid på sina skolarbeten. Andra deltagare menar att de har insett att deras drömyrken är svåra att uppnå och att de antagligen inte kommer få de betyg som krävs. Detta har gjort att de har funnit andra vägar att gå, antingen inom samma intresseområden eller inom nya yrkesval.

Uppsaten fokuserar på hur skilda individer kan skapa en tillhörighet och gemenskap när de försätts i ett sammanhang där de delar ett utanförskap i samhället. Denna gemenskap i utanförskap kopplas till teorier kring etniska grupper och gruppstrukturer. / In this essay i will retell my experience and my view on what can be crucial for a soccer team to clear all obstacles in front of a team. The paper focus on how different individuals kan create a unity and kinship when they share a context when they are viewed as outsiders in the society. The unity in the exclusion connects to theories about ethnic groups and group structures.

Expressão aumentada do receptor Fc de IgA (CD89) e da cadeia g associada, avaliadas respectivamente por citometria de fluxo e por “immunobloting", foram encontradas em fagócitos do sangue de pacientes com bacteremia por germes gram-negativos, em comparação com controles e pacientes com bacteremia por gram-positivos. A Mr do CD89 avaliada por SDS-PAGE estava diminuída, com núcleo protéico de 32kDa, sugerindo alteração de glicosilação. O aumento da expressão do CD89 correlacionou-se com aumento dos níveis séricos de IL-6. A cadeia g estava fosforilada nos neutrófilos, sugerindo participação do CD89 na sepsis por gram-negativos. / The expression and function of FcaRI (CD89) were analyzed on blood monocytes and neutrophils of patients with gram-positive and gram-negative bacteremia. Eighteen patients with gram-positive bacteremia, sixteen patients with gram-negative bacteremia and twenty healthy individuals were studied. CD89 expression were analyzed by flow cytometry using specific stained antibodies. Analysis of the surface iodinated CD89 molecules by SDS-PAGE and of the CD89 g-associated chain by immunoblotting also were performed. A marked increase in expression of the a and g subunits of the FcaRI were found on both types of cells in patients with gram-negative bacteremia, but not in patients with gram-positive bacteremia. This increase was independent of serum IgA levels. FcaRI Mr was lower on cells from gram negative patients than on cells from controls (50-65 kDa vs 55-75 kDa) despite of similar 32 kDa backbone, indicating altered glycosylation. Increased levels of FcaRI on blood phagocytes correlated with enhanced serum IL-6 levels, but not with IFN-g or TNF-a levels. The CD89 g-associated chain was phosphorylated on neutrophils, suggesting an engagement of CD89 during gram negative sepsis.

All PbO2 films presented important characteristics such as: homogeneous and compact morphology, quite uniform growth and good adherence. MnO2-composite film was prepared from electrolytic MnO2 powder [80 % (m/m)], carbon black [10 % (m/m)] e PVDF [10 % (m/m)] and then applied on carbon fibre (FC). The physical and electrochemical properties of these different electrode materials were characterized by scanning electronic microscopy, X-ray diffratometry, linear potential scan and cyclic voltammetry. The PbO2 films obtained by electrodeposition presented mainly the tetragonal phase â-PbO2, while the PbO2 film obtained by anodization presented an oxide mixture with the following phases: tetragonal â-PbO2, orthorhombic á-PbO2, PbO and also PbSO4. The electrolytic MnO2 was obtained mainly with the phase å- MnO2. The Pb/PbO2 electrode presented the best performance regarding OER. Among the electrodes obtained by electrodeposition (Ti-Pt/PbO2, ADE/PbO2 and FC/PbO2), the FC/PbO2 electrode presented higher values of superficial area and overpotential for the OER. The FC/MnO2 did not present good performance regarding OER. The Pb/PbO2 electrode was applied, at constant current density of 5 mA cm-2, in the oxidation of 0.05 mol L-1 Cr3+ ions solution, presenting a conversion efficiency of Cr3+ to Cr6+ ions of 90 %. The FC/PbO2 was also applied in the decolorization of the BR 19 dye solution (100 mg L-1), using a filter-press reactor. A decolorization efficiency of 99.5 % was obtained in the following experimental conditions: flow rate of 7.0 L min-1, current density of 30 mA cm-2 and chloride concentration of 70 mmol L-1. At the end of the oxidation process, a value of the German parameter DFZ 10 times lower than the maximum value (3 m-1) established before discarding in the environment was found. / Filmes de PbO2 foram crescidos sobre diferentes substratos (Ti-Pt, ADE, FC e Pb), a densidade de corrente constante de 20 mA cm-2, usando duas metodologias: eletrodeposição a partir de solução de Pb(NO3)2 0,1 mol L-1, LSS 1,7 mmol L-1 e HNO3 0,1 mol L-1 e anodização de chumbo em solução de H2SO4 3 mol L-1. Todos os filmes de PbO2 apresentaram características importantes, tais como: morfologia homogênea e compacta, crescimento bastante uniforme e boa aderência. O filme compósito de MnO2 foi preparado a partir de pó de MnO2 eletrolítico [80 % (m/m)], negro de acetileno [10 % (m/m)] e PVDF [10 % (m/m)] e então aplicado sobre fibra de carbono (FC). As propriedades físicas e eletroquímicas destes diferentes materiais de eletrodo foram caracterizadas por microscopia eletrônica de varredura, difratometria de raios X, varredura linear de potencial e voltametria cíclica. Os filmes de PbO2 obtidos por eletrodeposição apresentaram principalmente a fase â-PbO2 tetragonal, enquanto que o filme de PbO2 obtido por anodização apresentou uma mistura de óxidos com as seguintes fases: â-PbO2 tetragonal e á-PbO2 ortorrômbica, PbO e PbSO4. O MnO2 eletrolítico foi obtido principalmente com a fase å-MnO2. O eletrodo Pb/PbO2 apresentou um bom desempenho em relação à RDO. Dentre os eletrodos obtidos por eletrodeposição (Ti-Pt/PbO2, ADE/PbO2 e FC/PbO2), o eletrodo FC/PbO2 apresentou os maiores valores de área superficial e sobrepotencial para a RDO. O eletrodo FC/MnO2 não apresentou um bom desempenho em relação à RDO comparado com os demais eletrodos estudados. O eletrodo Pb/PbO2 foi aplicado, a densidade de corrente constante de 5 mA cm-2, na oxidação de uma solução contendo 0,05 mol L-1 de íons Cr3+, apresentando uma eficiência de conversão de íons Cr3+ a Cr6+ de cerca de 90%. O eletrodo de FC/PbO2 também foi aplicado na descoloração de uma solução de corante AR 19 simulada (100 mg L-1), utilizando um reator tipo filtro prensa. Uma eficiência de descoloração de 99,5% foi obtida nas seguintes condições experimentais: fluxo de eletrólito de 7,0 L min-1, densidade de corrente de 30 mA cm-2 e concentração de cloreto de 70 mmol L-1. Ao final do processo de oxidação foi encontrado um valor do parâmetro alemão DFZ 10 vezes menor que o valor máximo (3 m-1) estabelecido antes do descarte no meio ambiente.

Networks are readily available to telemetry system architects. The in-band control of remote unmanned collection platforms is handled through a Java browser interface. Data from many telemetry channels are collected and temporarily stored on a digital disk system designed around the OC-12 network. The I/O, storage, and network components are configured, set, and initialized remotely. Recordings are started and stopped on command and can be made round-the-clock. Files of stored, time stamped data are delivered at the rate of OC-12 to a distribution center.

Immunomodulatory properties of IgG glycosylation and the anti-inflammatory mechanism of intravenous immunoglobulin

The IgG Fc domain mediates a range of antibody effector functions, including antibody dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement activation, phagocytosis, and the recently emerged general anti-inflammatory effect of immunoglobulin therapy (IVIg). The conserved N-glycan attached to Fc N297 maintains the Fc structural integrity for the effector functions, while its glycoform is known to modulate the affinity for the Fc γ-receptors (FcγRs), complement, and the C-type lectin DC-SIGN. IgG Fc exhibits protein-directed glycosylation characterized by a series of biantennary complex type glycoforms, with a small population of sialylated species. The sialylated Fc has been proposed to bind DC-SIGN and initiate an anti-inflammatory signalling pathway. The restricted Fc glycan processing is partially attributed to the hydrophobic interaction between Fc glycan and the hydrophobic Fc protein backbone. Mutations within the hydrophobic Fc protein-glycan interface dramatically increases Fc glycan processing, while concomitantly decreases Fc affinity for the FcγRs. However, it is unclear whether this disrupted Fc-FcγR interaction was due to the increased terminal glycan processing, or the perturbed Fc protein-glycan interface. Here, the integrity of the Fc protein-glycan interface was demonstrated to be important in maintaining the productive Fc-FcγR interaction independently of glycoform. This glycoform-independent effect was exploited to generate novel inhibitory Fc variants. In addition, the interaction between sialylated IgG and the putative IVIg receptor DC-SIGN was re-evaluated. Analysis shows that IVIg binds DC-SIGN in a glycan-independent, Fab-mediated manner. Furthermore, the effect of IVIg sialylation on human antigen presenting cells was examined; evidence presented here indicate that IVIg deglycosylation, not desialylation, has an anti-inflammatory effect on human dendritic cells (DCs). These data suggest the need for a general re-evaluation of the current mechanistic model of anti-inflammatory IVIg.

In T cells, signalling events initiated at the immunological synapse by T cell receptor (TCR) have been already thoroughly studied. In contrast, signalling pathways involved in MHCII-mediated signal transduction on the APC side of this structure are still rather poorly understood. Transmembrane adaptor proteins (TRAPs) are a class of proteins with an essential role in signalling triggered by TCR and other immunoreceptors. So far no TRAPs involved in MHCII signalling have been identified. In this work a new TRAP, highly enriched in the immunological synapse in APCs is described and termed Nvl. Nvl is expressed exclusively in professional antigen presenting cells - B cells, monocytes/macrophages and dendritic cells, and the level of its expression positively correlates with the expression of MHCII. Nvl is present in tetraspanin microdomains and together with tetraspanins it is localized to the polarized structures of the cell, including uropod, cleavage furrow, and, most interestingly, the immunological synapse. The presence in the immunological synapse indicates possible role for Nvl in MHCII- mediated signal transduction. Data from analysis served as main source for comparison of two most successful teams - FC Viktoria Pilsen and AC Sparta Prague. I will try to analyse these statistical data and consequently define key statistics for both teams. The aim of the thesis: Comparison and interpretation of performance data acquired by statistical programme Instat is the primary aim of this thesis.
