Ela apresenta-nos um estilo próprio e inconfundível em suas obras devido à autenticidade de sua linguagem, ao estilo introspectivo – mas ao mesmo tempo universal – e à hibridização de modos e gêneros literários. A presente dissertação analisou como a autora vincula, em suas narrativas de corte fantástico, os temas infância e morte. Ademais, investigamos como os elementos fantásticos são trabalhados simultaneamente aos fatos cotidianos e às questões simbólicas, míticas, místicas, psicanalíticas e filosóficas. O cotejo analítico também contemplou o processo de desenvolvimento não só da produção literária ocampiana como também da literatura fantástica, e suas respectivas análises, dentro e fora da América Espanhola. / Entre los escritores que nacieron bajo la égida de los misterios que rodean a la América hispana se encuentra la figura de Silvina Ocampo con toda su forma peculiar y genuina de la escritura. Ella nos presenta un estilo específico y único en sus trabajos debido a la autenticidad de su lenguaje, al estilo introspectivo - pero al mismo tiempo universal - y a la hibridación de modos y géneros literarios. Esta tesis examina cómo la autora vincula, en sus narraciones de corte fantástico, los temas infancia y muerte. Además, se investigó cómo los elementos fantásticos se trabajan de forma simultánea a los hechos cotidianos y a las cuestiones simbólicas, míticas, místicas, filosóficas y psicoanalíticas. El cotejo de análisis también incluyó no sólo el proceso de desarrollo de la producción literaria ocampiana, sino la literatura fantástica, y sus análisis, dentro y fuera de la América española.

Giovanni Drogo é o herói que, no momento seguinte em que veste seu uniforme de oficial, experimenta um vazio existencial que o faz, em resposta, replicar: "Que coisa sem sentido!". Tomado desse sentimento, muitas vezes a inércia será a única resposta possível deste protagonista frente aos requerimentos cotidianos. A partir dessa premissa, articulando teoria literária, filosofia e contexto, arvoramo-nos em identificar as razões que fundam a heroicidade de Drogo. Após o prefácio, segue-se o capitulo de introdução, no qual tecemos algumas considerações acerca da figura do herói, procurando evidenciar como, nos séculos XVIII e XIX, esse conceito passa por perceptível modificação, graças à ascensão e sedimentação do romance, tal como hoje o conhecemos. Entremeiam a introdução e o capítulo final, três capítulos centrais que formam, em conjunto, a demonstração da tese defendida: de que as razões de Drogo respondem, necessariamente, a uma nova forma de se relacionar e conhecer o mundo. Resignação, recusa e renúncia associam-se em cada um destes capítulos, os quais se iniciam sempre a partir de uma cena fundamental, seguida de sua avaliação. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This thesis has as the main objective to show that the protagonist of the book The Tartar Steppe (1940), by Dino Buzzati, is registered as one of the representative heroes of the barrier between modernism and what would be considered contemporary. Giovanni Drogo is the hero that, right after he puts on his officer's uniform, experiments an existential emptiness that makes him, in response, state: "What a nonsense!". Taken by this feeling, often the inertia will be the only possible answer this protagonist will offer while facing daily requests. Starting from this premise, articulating literary theory, philosophy and context, we stand up to identify the reasons that establish the heroism of Drogo. After the preface, the introduction chapter follows, at which we develop some considerations about the image of the hero, trying to demonstrate how, during the 18th and 19th centuries, this concept goes through a noticeable modification, thanks to the ascension and sedimentation of the novel, as we know it today. Between the introduction and the final chapter are three main chapters that shape, together, the demonstration of the defended thesis: that the reasons of Drogo respond, necessarily, to a new way to connect and to discover the world. Orientador: Alvaro Luiz Hattnher / Banca: Aparecido Donizete Rossi / Banca: Vera Helena Gomes Wielewicki / Resumo:Com o intuito de descrever e verificar os recursos mais recorrentes utilizados na criação de fanfictions sobre Harry Potter por autores brasileiros, discute-se neste trabalho o movimento de consumidores a uma cultura participativa nas últimas décadas, suas implicações nos debates sobre propriedade intelectual e o impacto da evolução da tecnologia na produção e circulação de produtos midiáticos. O surgimento das fanfictions e os mecanismos existentes na reinterpretação de narrativas originais também são abordados, bem como os números expressivos que representam o sucesso dos livros de J.K. Rowling como fenômeno editorial e como comunidade na internet. Tendo em vista a atividade significativa de fãs brasileiros da série e sua produção de histórias inspiradas em Harry Potter, três fanfictions representativas da produção do fandom no Brasil foram analisadas e constatou-se que os recursos mais frequentes em seu desenvolvimento são: universo alternativo, foco em personagem secundário, o subgênero slash e extensão da linha do tempo, premissa que evidencia predileção de autores e leitores por maior espaço para criação própria / Abstract: In order to describe and verify the most common resources used in the creation of Harry Potter fanfictions in Brazil, this study presents the movement of consumers towards a more participative culture in the last two decades, its implications to debates on intellectual property and the impact of technological evolution on the production and circulation of media content. The work also examines the history of fanfiction and the existent mechanisms of reinterpretation of original narratives, as well as the expressive numbers that represent the success of J.K. Rowling's books both as an editorial phenomenon and fandom on the internet. Given the significant production inspired in the Harry Potter series by Brazilian fans, three representative fanfictions are analyzed, in the light of the specific ways the original is rewritten. Para estudar estas duas obras e estabelecer semelhanças e diferenças entre elas, será estudada a figura do diabo, criatura bastante utilizada em obras literárias, especialmente fantásticas; o gênero fantástico, pois ambas as obras possuem características que permitem inseri-las neste. Serão estudadas também algumas características do Romantismo, pois ambas as obras foram escritas durante este período. Este último, por sua vez, trata-se de um público único e bastante presente em nosso objeto de pesquisa: o fã. Com a evolução tecnológica pelo qual nossa sociedade atual tem passado, novos gêneros literários vão desenvolvendo-se e ganhando cada vez mais espaço na internet. Uma das razões para que isso ocorra é também o aumento significativo da cultura de massa, termo definido por Kellner (2001) e de grandes lançamentos de best sellers que acumulam uma legião de seguidores, como é o caso de Harry Potter, líder das fanfictions acessadas no website fonte desta pesquisa. Dentre as mais de 800 mil fanfictions de Harry Potter as quais tivemos acesso, selecionamos cinco, todas elas pertencentes à classificação específica de universo alternativo, cuja definição é uma releitura e/ou adaptação da obra original para um novo contexto, distanciando-se, assim, do que foi estabelecido no texto original. A questão que move esta pesquisa é: uma vez que o fã da obra original de Harry Potter foi atraído para a série, considerando-se, especialmente, a existência de ferramentas literárias, como modalidade de narrador e verossimilhança, utilizadas para criar uma realidade paralela à nossa realidade e convencer seu leitor a aceitá-la sem questionamentos, o que faz com que ele continue... / Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze Harry Potter saga fanfictions in all its specificities ─ format, definitions, characteristics, posting and audience. The latter, in turn, is a unique audience and very present in our research objective: the fan. Considering the technological evolution that our current society has gone through, new literary genres have been developed and gained more space on the internet. One of the reasons for this to occur is also the significant increase of mass culture, a term defined by Kellner (2001), and big best sellers releases that accumulate a legion of followers, such as Harry Potter, leader of the fanfictions accessed on the website used as a source for this research. Among more than 800,000 Harry Potter fanfictions that we had access to, we selected five, all of them belonging to the specific alternative universe classification, whose definition is a rereading and/or adaptation of the original work to a new context, destiny or personality of the characters, thus, distancing itself from what it was established in the original text. Una definición de lo fantástico (2011) e textos de diversos pesquisadores reunidos e organizados por David Roas na obra Teorías de lo fantástico (2001). Acreditamos que essa figura situa-se no arquétipo que Carl Gustav Jung denominou Grande Mãe, assim, para o estudo do arquétipo, inicialmente, utilizaremos sua obra Os arquétipos e o inconsciente coletivo (2000) e A Grande Mãe (1996), de Erich Neumann. Além de estabelecer esta relação, pretendemos demonstrar como os elementos formais da narrativa que interferem na construção da figura feminina colaboram para a manifestação do sobrenatural nos contos em questão, manifestação que se dá por meio da própria personagem feminina. Estética e pragmática del relato fantástico (2000), de Juan Herrero Cecilia será um estudo relevante para este projeto de pesquisa, tanto para o estudo dos elementos formais da narrativa, quanto para a discussão sobre a literatura fantástica. In this study, we observe the central characters' configuration of the tales Circe and Bruja, of the Argentinian Júlio Cortázar, Los atillos de Brumal and Mi Hermana Elba of the Spanish Cristina Fernández Cubas and La buena compañía and La gata de mi madre, of the Mexican Carlos Fuentes. The narratives that will be analyzed are affiliated to the fantastic genre and, to the study of this genre, we will use as theoretical background the studies about the fantastic of David Roas exposed in Tras los límites de lo real. Una definición de lo fantástico (2011) and texts from many researchers gathered and organized by David Roas in the work Teorías de lo fantástico (2001). We believe that this figure is situated in the archetype that Carl Gustav Jung called the Great Mother, then, for the archetype's study, initially, we will use his work Os arquétipos e o inconsciente coletivo (2000) and A Grande Mãe (1996), of Erich Neumann. Besides establishing this relationship, we intend to demonstrate how the formal elements of narrative that interfere in the construction of the female figure collaborate for the manifestation of the supernatural in the tales in question, manifestation that occurs through the own female character.
