The thesis "Audience reception to the paradoxical narrative in the series Game of Thrones" focuses on the research of the audience and its reactions to the unusual plot twists in the series Game of Thrones producted by HBO. The Audience and its reactions to specifically selected twists were researched through qualitative methods of deep semi-structured interview which was carried out with ten respondents. "Primary" audience, i.e. the viewers who had not read any books from the Ice and Fire saga before watching the show, was choosen as a research sample for this study. Reactions of this audience are more spontaneous and unpredictable. The primary aim of the research is to find out how viewers react to the newly defined paradoxical narrative in the Game of Thrones series and why they keep watching this series despite its unusual plot twists.

This thesis is dedicated to the possibilities of using elements of drama education while working with persons with a mild intellectual disability. The theoretical part begins with characteristics of intellectual disability, with a specific focus on psychic processes and personality structure of individuals with a light degree of intellectual disability. Besides containing pedagogical-psychological groundwork, which clarifies the essence and meaning of drama activities in the educational processes of persons with impaired intellectual abilities, the text introduces principles of indirect drama-educational work and performance of drama activities. It also describes some methods and techniques of drama education, which reflect the potential and abilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The practical part includes a proposal for a project based on literary sources, and mainly oriented at the personality and social development of the target group.

The thesis presents possibilities and hazards resulting from the combination of experience-based education methods and those of doing philosophy with children. Having defined the terms used, it introduces the aims, key features and basic methods of leisure education; furthermore, experience-based education is described in more detail together with its fundamental elements: dramaturgy, adventure, reflection and games. The latter two elements are understood to be the links between experience-based education and Philosophy for children program. Then, the follow-up reflection on the interface between Philosophy with children and experiential activities is the substantial part of the thesis. Besides other topics, the philosophical aspects of games and reflection (review) as possible ways of experience-based philosophical inquiry are dealt with. Thus, in the closing part of the thesis, the potential for connecting philosophical inquiry and the experience itself is outlined.

The main ideas behind the thesis include introducing the characteristics of the disorder known as Asperger syndrome, searching for help for individuals with this disability, looking at their engagement in society, and also helping teachers prevent and deal with existing conflicts. After a short introduction of pervasive developmental disorders, I focused on Asperger syndrome. I concentrated on the issue of communication, its abnormalities, and the concept and modes of communication in the disabled. At the same time, I tried to indicate possible ways to educate people with Asperger's. The thesis also looks at integration, its conditions and forms. At the end of this part, I outlined various ways to organize education and charted the education of teaching staff in the field of pervasive developmental disorders. The empirical part looks into teachers' readiness to work with individuals with Asperger syndrome, the training they undergo when studying at university, and their practical experience. This master thesis is aimed at the issue of activating methods of teaching, namely didactic games in Chemistry lessons. In the theoretical part activating methods of teaching, didactic games, visualization of molecules and the programming language Java were described. The aim of the practical part was to create the "Chemical 3D Matching Pairs Game", dealing with two topics - the naming of organic compounds and the natural products. The 3D structure of used compounds can be examined by students during playing the game. The created game was tested by secondary school students and its didactic potential was evaluated. The main benefits of the game were student activation and a high motivational character.

The thesis deals with the issue of singletons. Its main question is directed to the childhood of singletons and its importance for the whole life of a human. It wonders whether the childhood of singletons affects humans in adulthood, or in which areas and which way. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and part of the research. In the first part basic terms are defined which constitute the basis for the second part of the work. The research part of the work is more extensive and forms the core of the thesis. It is a qualitative research. Biographical design, specifically the realistic biography, has been used as the most appropriate research plan. First, three interviews were made and processed - depth probes of the respondents who grew up as the singletons. The analysis of the probes divided the interview into three stages: childhood upbringing, the upbringing of their own children and self-education. After processing the individual parts of the research, the final synthesis revealed that the childhood of the respondents and the fact of being an only child had a significant impact on their overall life.
