Memória empresarial: interesse utilitarista ou responsabilidade histórica? / Corporate Memory: utilitarian interest or historical responsibility?

A pesquisa tem por objetivo refletir o papel desempenhado pela memória empresarial, analisando sua atuação estratégica no reforço da imagem institucional e na construção ou fortalecimento da identidade corporativa. A reflexão engloba ainda as motivações das empresas para a construção de espaços de memória e o uso da memória pelas organizações. A análise envolve a discussão de conceitos de áreas multidisciplinares do conhecimento: história, administração, arquivologia e biblioteconomia e documentação. Aborda os conceitos de história bem como sua associação com o passado e sua valorização por setores da sociedade e como efeito do processo de globalização. Apresenta a conceituação de memória, abordando sua valorização e busca generalizada feita por diversos setores sociais, destacando o interesse e importância pelas organizações, repercutindo em eventos comemorativos ou no resgate da história da empresa. Aborda a conceituação do termo cultura expressando sua complexidade conceitual e ampla significação, dando ênfase para a cultura organizacional e analisando seus principais componentes: valores, heróis, mitos e ritos para a compreensão de seu imaginário. Analisa a empresa além da produção de bens e serviços, como parte integrante da sociedade, enfatizando sua atuação frente aos seus públicos de relacionamento: consumidores, clientes, fornecedores, colaboradores, comunidade. Avalia os mercados de memória empresarial, abordando a temática dos trabalhos produzidos, destacando-se a importância do rigor científico e a legitimidade das fontes de pesquisa nos projetos de memória, objetivando a veracidade da história. Analisa os projetos de memória empresarial para identificar se estes constituem estratégia de marketing para valorização da imagem institucional ou são resultantes da consciência da responsabilidade história da organização. / The research aims to reflect the role played by the corporate memory, analyzing its strategic importance in enhancing the institutional image and building or strengthening the corporate identity. The reflection also encompasses the motivations of the companies for the construction of memory spaces and memory usage by organizations. The analysis involves the discussion of concepts of multi-disciplinary areas of knowledge, such as: history, management, archivology and librarianship, and documentation. Comprises the concepts of history and their association with the past, and their recovery by the sectors of the society, and as an effect of the globalization process. Introduces the concept of memory, encompassing its recovery and generalized search made by various social sectors, highlighting the relevance and importance by organizations, resulting in celebratory events or in the recovery of the companys history. It broads the definition of the term culture, expressing its conceptual complexity and wide-ranging significance, with emphasis on organizational culture and analyzing its major components: values, heroes, myths and rituals to the understanding of its imagery. Analyzes the company beyond the production of goods and services as an integral part of the society, emphasizing its actions before its stakeholders: customers, clients, suppliers, cooperators, community. Evaluates the markets of corporate memory, by addressing the thematic produced works, highlighting the importance of the scientific rigor and the legitimacy of the research sources on memory projects, aiming at the truth of the history. Analyzes the corporate memory projects in order to identify whether they are of marketing strategy for the institutional memory enhancement or whether they are the result of the awareness on the companys historical responsibility.

Depuis leur création en 1888, les Alpins constituent une subdivision d’arme à part au sein de l’armée de terre française. Territorialement très marquées, ces unités ont pour mission originelle et spécifique de défendre la frontière alpine. En 1962, après deux guerres mondiales et deux guerres de décolonisation, la France entre dans une nouvelle ère. Face à l’évolution de la menace, le pays opte pour la nucléarisation de son armée. Dans ce contexte de guerre froide, les troupes alpines ne sont plus que des « troupes du territoire ». Elles se marginalisent et peinent à trouver leur place aussi bien dans le nouveau dispositif de sécurité et de défense nationale qu’au sein des territoires alpins en pleine mutation. Pourtant, en 1983, à la surprise générale, la 27e Division Alpine s’intègre dans la Force d’Action Rapide et participe à sa première opération extérieure. Cette OPEX au Liban marque le début d’une renaissance pour les Alpins. Le déploiement des soldats de montagne en Yougoslavie au cours des années 1990 puis en Afghanistan au cours des années 2000 assoit la légitimité opérationnelle des Alpins. Au XXIe siècle, l’armée des Alpes désormais professionnelle, occupe une nouvelle place dans les territoires de montagne et joue un rôle nouveau auprès des sociétés alpines. En effet, le combat de légitimation, de reconnaissance et de rayonnement de la « spécificité montagne » des troupes alpines ne se gagne pas seulement sur les champs de batailles. La quête de traditions nouvelles pour refonder une identité militaire et montagnarde, l’organisation de diverses cérémonies dans l’espace public, la construction d’un patrimoine commun sont autant d’armes aux mains du commandement de la 27e Brigade d’Infanterie de Montagne pour continuer d’exister malgré la « réforme perpétuelle » de la Défense française. La 27e Brigade d'Infanterie de Montagne reste aujourd’hui dépositaire des traditions des Alpins d’autrefois. La 27e BIM reste la brigade d’urgence de montagne de l’armée de Terre. De par ses capacités opérationnelles reconnues, la « 27 » met en œuvre des savoir-faire spécifiques sur les théâtres les plus divers, à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur du territoire national. / Since their creation in 1888, the Alpins form a separate subdivision within the French Army. The primary and specific mission of these territorially very marked units is to defend the Alpine border. In 1962, after two world wars and two decolonization wars, France enters a new era. In response to the threat, the nuclearization of the army is decided by the country. In this context of cold war, the Alpines units are merely territory troops. They become marginalized and hardly find a place as well in the new safety and national defence features as within the Alpins territories which are undergoing profoundchange. However, in 1983, to widespread surprise, the 27e Division Alpine joins the Force d’Action Rapide and takes part in its first external operation. This OPEX (EXternal OPeration) in Lebanon marks a beginning of rebirth for the Alpins. Their operational legitimacy was established by the deployment of mountain soldiers in Yugoslavia in the 1990s and then in Afghanistan in the 2000s. In the XXIth century, the henceforth professional army of the Alps occupies a novel place in the mountain territories and plays a new role to the Alpin societies. Indeed, the struggle for legitimation, appreciation and influence of the “mountain specificity” of the Alpin troops is not to be won on the battlefields only. The search for new traditions in an attempt to rebuild a mountain military identity,the organisation of various ceremonies in the public space, the reconstruction of a common heritage are all weapons in the hands of the 27e Brigade d’Infanterie de Montagne command for the purpose of continuing to exist in spite of the “perpetual reform” of the “Défense française”. The 27e Brigade d'Infanterie de Montagne remains guardian of the traditions of the former Alpins. The 27e BIM stays the emergency brigade of the French land army. Due to its acknowledged operational capabilities, it implements its specific expertise in various theatres, within the national territory or outside.

This period corresponds to the managing administrations of the doctor Pedro Almino de Queiroz e Souza (Federal Representative of the Campaign, at state level/CE) and the veterinarian/general of the army reserve José Pinto Sombra (Campaign Superintendent, at national level). The aim of the research was to assess the Campaign historically and critically, with a purpose of undertaking an interpretation that would fulfill this historiographic lack, such as the ones that exist related to the History of School Nourishment in Brazil, in snips more delimited of time and space. The historical sources related to the object of this research were speeches from newspapers of that period (968 newspapers reports) and the speech/narrative of Pedro Almino de Queiroz e Souza, collected from an interview performed on April 2016 (Oral History). The interview was open and with a semi structured script, with few questions based on the general issues of the research, and on the ones that emerged from the initial analysis of the journalistic data. This interview was first recorded and transcribed afterwards. From a methodological and cross-curricular plurality individualized according to the characteristics of the research, we take as theoretical methodological basis the fundaments of Analysis of Speech; the New History (Nouvelle histoire); the Content Analysis, and lastly, the Oral History. The Critic Theory was elected as theoretical analytical basis. The Content Analysis undertaken from the newspapers identified three thematic dimensions as to CNAE in Ceará (between 1964 and 1972): 1) speeches about the functional administrative dynamic of the Campaign; 2) speeches about the pedagogical dynamic of the Campaign, and 3) speeches about the political ideological dynamic of the Campaign. Thus, we could go over and confirm that CNAE in Ceará State, in the period analyzed, did not deviate the rules of public policies conduct of that historical moment, reproducing practices and speeches that aimed to legitimate those militaries government, harshly technocrat, and, managing the state agencies with strict control, aimed, actually, to dominate the society. Pari passu, actions to the formation of a future consuming market were implemented, and to the installation of foodstuff industry all over the country. Eventually, this research intended to contribute to the approximation of the Education to the debate/dialogue cross-curricular that marks this field of knowledge, once any scientific discipline embodies completely the phenomenon of nourishment and eating sociability. The insertion of the nourish thematic in the educational researches is plenty salutary, whereas there is not systematic discussion about the matter, being most of the researches undertaken through a biological/nutritional bias and developed by food engineers, nutritionist and doctors, what makes clear the disinterest of educators and historians for such significant study. / A pesquisa teve como objeto a CNAE- Campanha Nacional de Alimentação Escolar, no Estado do Ceará, entre 1964 e 1972. O período em questão corresponde às gestões administrativas do médico Pedro Almino de Queiroz e Souza (Representante Federal da Campanha, em nível local/CE) e do veterinário/ general da reserva do exército José Pinto Sombra (Superintendente da Campanha, em nível nacional). O objetivo da pesquisa foi o de analisar histórico-criticamente a Campanha, de modo a empreender uma interpretação que viesse a preencher essa lacuna historiográfica, tais como as que existem em relação à História da Alimentação Escolar no Brasil em recortes de tempo e espaço mais delimitados. As fontes históricas relacionadas ao objeto de pesquisa foram discursos de jornais da época (968 notícias de jornal) e o discurso/ narrativa de Pedro Almino de Queiroz e Sousa, coletado por meio de uma entrevista realizada em abril de 2016 (História Oral). A entrevista se deu de forma aberta e com roteiro semiestruturado, com poucas perguntas, roteirizadas com base nas questões gerais da pesquisa e nas que emergiram da análise inicial dos dados jornalísticos. A forma de registro foi feita por meio de gravação em áudio, posteriormente transcrito. A partir de uma pluralidade metodológica, transdisciplinar e individualizada de acordo com as "características" da pesquisa, utilizamos, como suportes teórico-metodológicos, os fundamentos da Análise do Discurso; da História Nova (Nouvelle histoire); da Análise de Conteúdo e; por fim, da História Oral. A Teoria Crítica foi eleita como paradigma teórico-analítico de suporte. A Análise de Conteúdo empreendida nos jornais identificou três dimensões temáticas relativas à CNAE no Ceará (entre 1964- 1972): 1) discursos sobre a dinâmica administrativo-operacional da Campanha; 2) discursos sobre a dinâmica pedagógica da Campanha e; 3) discursos sobre a dinâmica político-ideológica da Campanha. Assim, pudemos aferir e confirmar que a CNAE no Ceará, no período estudado, não fugiu às regras de condução das políticas públicas daquele momento histórico, reproduzindo práticas e discursos que visavam legitimar aqueles governos militares, exacerbadamente tecnocratas e que, ao gerenciar os aparelhos estatais com rigoroso controle, almejavam, na realidade, a dominação da sociedade. Pari passu, foram implementadas as ações para a formação de um futuro mercado consumidor e para a instalação da indústria alimentícia em todo o país. Por fim, a pesquisa pretendeu contribuir na aproximação da Educação ao debate/ diálogo transdisciplinar que marca esse campo de saber, uma vez que disciplina científica alguma abarca o fenômeno da alimentação e da comensalidade por completo. A inserção da temática alimentar nas pesquisas educacionais é bastante salutar, pois ainda não há discussão sistemática acerca do assunto, sendo a maioria das pesquisas empreendidas com viés biológico/ nutricional e desenvolvidas por engenheiros de alimentos, nutricionistas e médicos, o que evidencia o desinteresse dos educadores e historiadores por tão relevante estudo.

Este trabalho se propõe analisar as memórias contidas no livro comemorativo Vanguarda Pedagógica: o legado do Ginásio Israelita Brasileiro Scholem Aleichem (2008) organizado a partir da iniciativa do Grupo Memória Scholem composto por ex-alunos dessa instituição durante a década de 1970. Temos como objetivo central entender as estratégias de seleção e os sentidos da comemoração da memória dessa escola judaica contida nos arquivos e no livro da instituição. Também inserimos o livro no conjunto de comemorações das escolas renovadas da década de 1960, tendo em vista que existiram outras instituições coetâneas que reclamam para si o estatuto de Vanguarda Pedagógica mobilizado por esses grupos para comemorar a renovação pedagógica na atualidade. Desta forma, podemos entender como um objeto comemorativo produzido por ex-participantes de experiências da chamada renovação pedagógica pode propiciar um debate nas relações entre memória e a história da educação. / The aim of this dissertation is to investigate and analyze the memories contained in the commemorative book Vanguarda Pedagógica: o legado do Ginásio Israelita Brasileiro Scholem Aleichem (Pedagogical vanguard: the legacy of the Brazilian-Israeli Scholem Aleichem High School, 2008), organized by Scholem Memory Group (this group consists of former students who have studied in Scholem in the 1970s). The main objective of this study is to understand the strategies of choice of historical documents and testimonies about Scholem, as well as the intention of this celebration. The book is also included in the set of celebrations of renovated schools (so-called schools which, in the 60s, proclaimed himself the status of pedagogical vanguard). Such celebrations were mobilized by these groups to commemorate the pedagogical renewal nowadays. Thus, we can understand how a commemorative event produced by former participants of the pedagogical renewal experience and the processes by which meanings are attached to the past can provide a debate on relations between memory and the history of education.

Apresentar três lotes de correspondência inédita de João Guimarães Rosa, para responder ao problema de como os seus livros se recriaram em novos ambientes culturais, é trabalho que exige estabelecer o texto das cartas, redigir notas descritivas/ analíticas e notas explicativas. A recriação resulta da ação concertada de autor, editor e tradutor. A edição dos livros se mostra um negócio ou empreendimento de tipo especial, seja em razão da rede de relações pessoais e profissionais que envolve, ou do movimento de idéias, que simultaneamente capta e produz. Editar é operação que se dá no terreno das mediações entre dois planos, um que é do simbólico, outro da fabricação ou reprodução técnica. No trio de agentes, cada um de seu lugar e a seu modo busca o objeto livro que propicie a permanência da obra literária. Os lotes de correspondência, do arquivo que pertenceu ao escritor, agora ditos sub-séries, são: 1. com o editor francês Pierre Seghers (26/06/1957 a 10/10/1962), CE 1 a 15 (cx. 01), 17 documentos; 2. com o editor português António de Souza-Pinto (01/11/1960 a 27/01/1967), CE 16 a 64 (cx. 01), 56 documentos; 3. com o tradutor francês Jean-Jacques Villard (07/07/1961 a 25/04/1967), CT 1 a 47 (cx. 9), 48 documentos. Na cena das cartas aos três destinatários vê-se um autor que, além de cuidar da forma de publicação de seus textos literários no exterior, estende sua atenção ao paratexto, interno e externo ao volume. Entre essas atenções dispensadas por via epistolar despontam diferentes personas de João Guimarães Rosa. / Presenting three batches of unpublished correspondence of João Guimarães Rosa in order to answer how his books were recreated in new cultural environments, is a task that demmands establishing the text of the letters and composing descriptive/analytical notes and explanatory notes. The recreation of the books results from the orchestrated action of author, publisher and translator. Publishing books reveals itself as a special kind of business or enterprise, either because of the personal and professional network involved or because of the movement of ideas simultaneously captured and generated. Publishing takes place in the grounds of mediation between two spaces, one symbolic and the other of manufacturing or technical reproduction. In the triad of agents -- author, publisher and translator -- each one of them in its way and from its place seeks the book that will engender permanence of the literary work. The batches of correspondence, from the file which belonged to the writer , now designated sub-series, are: 1. letters to the French publisher Pierre Seghers (06/26/1957 - 10/10/1962), CE 1 - 15 (box 01), 17 documents; 2. letters to the Portuguese publisher António de Souza-Pinto (11/01/1960 - 01/271967), CE 16 - 64 (box 01), 56 documents; 3. letters to the French translator Jean-Jacques Villard (07/07/1961 - 04/25/1967), CT 1 - 47 (box 9), 48 documents. In the letters sent to the three addressees, we see an author who, in addition to taking care of the form of publishing his literary texts abroad, extends his attention to the paratext located inside and outside the volume. Amid this care, dispensed through epistles, different personas of João Guimarães Rosa arise.

Prague Spring in Collective Memory of the Members 28th Fighter-Bomber Air Regiment in Čáslav Jiří Hlaváček The aim of essay is to analyse the course and the consequences of the Prague Spring at the 28th Fighter Bomber Wing in Čáslav based on oral recollections of the direct participants of the events and their comparison with accessible contemporary sources. The research is utilizes the method of oral history, focussing on the testimonies of six members of the 28th Fighter Bomber Wing, who were dismissed from the Army during the normalization purges between 1968 and 1974. The essay is concerned with the important events of Prague Spring, covering them chronologically from January 1968 until Apríl 1969 and with reflection of these events by the formal members of the Wing. The main part of the essay focusses on a detailed description of the events taking place at Čáslav airport during the entry of the Warsaw Pact troops on the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. The other part is devoted to the methods of the normalization purges in the Army and their impact on the witnesses lives inclusive of theme of collective memory of this group. It aims to understand how these meaningful moments in the University's memory, directly opposite of the military government and its limiting and repressive educational policies, revealed themselves and came together in the institution. Its starting point is the hypothesis that the reconciliating discourse disguised differing political stands, which were not strong enough to make opposition to the predominant one and thus substantially alter the understanding of the memory itself and the university's history and the current moment. The institutional crisis revealed conflicts between different sectors, questioning about the "PUCkian Democracy" and different alternatives about the future of the university among the supporters of the "Statetization" and of the "Mixed Foundation", from 1986 on. Despite the democratic experiment and the institutional crisis, PUC-SP did not manage to equate its subordinate status to Fundação São Paulo, which was responsible for establishing the limits of the university's democracy and autonomy. Regarding historiographic material production and the institution's memory this research analyzed the discourse broadcast in documents produced by different sectors, mainly those published by associations, community newspapers and the records of the University Counsil, recreating the sequence of actions, reasoning and meanings given to the historically built representations / O objetivo desta pesquisa é contribuir para a História da Reforma Universitária no Brasil, analisando a participação de segmentos e setores universitários no processo de reforma, democratização e autonomia da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), especialmente durante a Constituinte de 1982, a experiência democratizante e a crise institucional, entre os anos de 1979 e 1988. Busca explicitar, nesses momentos significativos da memória da instituição, as alianças, os confrontos e contradições vividas pelos sujeitos no processo de reforma e democratização da PUC-SP. Parte da hipótese de que a greve dos professores, em 1979, com o apoio dos funcionários e estudantes, deu início ao processo de democratização da universidade, a partir das críticas dirigidas à estrutura e às formas de participação da comunidade no governo da universidade, instituídas pelos Estatutos de 1971. O discurso da conciliação , criado pela memória institucional, encobria posições políticas distintas que não tiveram força suficiente para contraporem-se ao hegemônico e alterarem, substancialmente, a própria compreensão sobre a história da universidade até 1986. A crise institucional, decorrente da crise financeira, associada à crise política da universidade, apunhalou severamente tal discurso, pois desfez alianças, revelou divergências quanto às estratégias e aos objetivos defendidos para a PUC-SP e à formalidade da democracia puquiana. Em referência à produção historiográfica e à memória histórica institucional, esta pesquisa analisa o discurso veiculado na documentação produzida pelos diferentes setores e segmentos, principalmente das entidades associativas, dos jornais comunitários e das Atas do Conselho Universitário, reconstruindo o encadeamento das ações, as razões e os significados dados às representações construídas historicamente

Readings of contemporary accounts of the Japanese invasion of Choson Korea and Ming China's intervention, by Japanese, Korean, and Chinese writers; analysis of the writers' disparate world-views and how they each envision their country and its neighbours. This thesis uses contemporary writings from across the region to study the significance of the East Asian War of 1592-1598 for Chinese, Korean, and Japanese senses of identity, and argues that the war was a crucial moment in the development of those identities. Despite the 1592-1598 conflict affecting millions of people, and resulting in almost unprecedented cross-border flows of people and information, most previous considerations of its effect on identity have focused on court documents. In the first dedicated study of identities in the East Asian War, this thesis shifts from the hitherto emphasis on politicians and commanders to prioritize individuals at the frontiers of cross-border contact. This shift of focus from centre to periphery contributes to our understanding of two areas of history. In terms of the East Asian War as a historical event, it provides a far more nuanced picture of what this momentous conflict signified for people at the time. In terms of the history of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese identities, it demonstrates persuasively that the sense of belonging to a country held real meaning for people across society, influencing the actions even of those totally removed from the state. Tracing the legacy of frontier writings again contributes to both the history of the war and of identity, by revealing how peripheral insights and central biases combined to give birth to the orthodox narratives of the war, some of which remain influential to this day. Personal writings show how first-hand encounters in the war modified but also re-inforced already well-established identities, making national identities of immediate significance for an immeasurably wider group than in peace time. The late sixteenth-century growth in printing and literacy subsequently greatly amplified the impact of the East Asian War by allowing real-life interaction to be endlessly re-told as a dramatic clash between China, Korea, and Japan. This study restores the war to its proper place as a key moment in the longer development of national identities in East Asia. It also calls for a primary-source based, East-Asia centred reconsideration of theories on the historical development of collective identity, which remain overly influenced by later European experience.

Due to the difficulty of finding registrations about the theme focused – sometimes, due to own lack of these registrations – we have to use as methodological resources some interviews, besides documents, newspapers and pictures that turned out essential elements to a best comprehension of the proposed objective. In this sense, it can be understood that the insertion of the Arabic culture in Floriano city happened in a similar way to that occurred in other Brazilian cities. But, thanks particularly to the presence of the Syrian and Lebanese people in this city, it can be inferred that some aspects of the Arabic influence suffered are different from those occurred in other places, once the immigrants from those countries not only assimilated the regional culture but introduced elements of their own culture, as those relating to food habits and architectural style, only to exemplify. With their natural ability for the commerce they contributed specially to the increase of this activity in Floriano, introducing new commercial practices, including the credit sale modality. Little by little, winning difficulties caused by language and by prejudices, they become respected citizens and assumed public functions, confirming definitely their valuable contribution to the development of Floriano city. / O presente estudo trata da chegada do povo árabe em Floriano, numa tentativa de mostrar como aconteceu o processo de integração sócio-cultural desses imigrantes numa cidade do interior do Piauí, bem como identificar os principais aspectos dessa influência sobre a sociedade, através de uma análise do contexto sócio-histórico-econômico. Devido à dificuldade de encontrar registros sobre o tema enfocado – algumas vezes, devido à própria falta desses registros – tivemos de utilizar como recursos metodológicos algumas entrevistas, além de documentos, jornais e fotografias que se tornaram elementos essenciais para uma melhor compreensão do objetivo proposto. Neste sentido, pode-se entender que a inserção da cultura árabe em Floriano aconteceu de modo semelhante à ocorrida em outras cidades brasileiras. Porém, graças particularmente à presença dos sírios e libaneses, pode-se inferir que nessa cidade alguns aspectos da influência árabe sofrida foram diferentes daqueles ocorridos em outros lugares, uma vez que os imigrantes daqueles países não apenas assimilaram a cultura regional, mas também introduziram elementos de suas próprias culturas, como aqueles relacionados a hábitos alimentares e estilo arquitetônico, apenas para exemplificar. Com sua habilidade natural para o comércio, contribuíram especialmente para o crescimento dessa atividade em Floriano, introduzindo novas práticas comerciais , inclusive a modalidade de venda a prazo. Pouco a pouco, vencendo dificuldades causadas pela língua e pelos preconceitos, tornaram-se cidadãos respeitáveis e assumiram funções públicas importantes, confirmando assim sua valiosa contribuição para o desenvolvimento de Floriano.
