Partindo das narrativas de ficção Galo cantou na baía (1936), de Manuel Lopes, e Um ladrão (1939), de Graciliano Ramos, buscamos investigar as estratégias discursivas dos autores de nosso corpus quando da tentativa de se mobilizar em favor das populações que viviam em condições de extrema carência, tendo na literatura um forte meio de promover os debates urgentes daquele momento histórico, caracterizado pela opressão de regimes ditatoriais. Desta maneira, a perspectiva narrativa é um dos pontos centrais do trabalho. Em confluência com a fatia social retratada nos contos, pareceu-nos fundamental o debate sobre a fome e seus efeitos para o organismo humano, que findou por dirigir nosso trabalho. Encontramos na obra de Josué de Castro uma rica pesquisa capaz de conduzir nossas análises, levando-nos da condição de faminto dos personagens a seu desdobramento: a condição de criminoso principiante. Buscamos analisar, também, as construções ideológicas que influenciavam as consciências naquele período da história, encontrando em Louis Althusser os subsídios para tal análise. / Based on the narratives of fiction Galo cantou na baía (Rooster crowed at the bay) (1936), of Manuel Lopez, and Um ladrão (A thief) (1939), of Graciliano Ramos, we attempted to investigate the discursive strategies of the authors of our corpus, trying a mobilization in the benefit of the people living in extreme deprivation situation, taking the literature as a strong tool to promote urgent debates on that historical moment, characterized by the oppression of dictatorial regimes. Being so, the narrative perspective is one of the central points of this/our work. In confluence with the social share portrayed in the stories, it seemed crucial the debate on hunger and its effects on the human body, which turned out to direct our work.We find in the work of Josué de Castro a rich research capable of conducting our analysis, leading us from the starving condition of the characters to their deployment: the condition of a debut criminal. We also sought to analyze the ideological patterns which influenced the consciousness of that period of the History, getting from Louis Althusser subsidies for such analysis.

Cette thèse analyse l’évolution de l’historiographie de la République fédérale d’Allemagne et, plus particulièrement, l’affirmation de la nouvelle histoire sociale à la lumière du rapport complexe que les historiens ouest-allemands ont entretenu avec l’historisme et la tradition historique allemande. On s’efforce de montrer dans quelle mesure les réorientations méthodologiques sont allées de pair avec l’émergence de nouvelles interprétations de l’histoire nationale et du Sonderweg allemand. On porte également une attention particulière au problème de la continuité de l’historiographie allemande entre la République de Weimar et la République fédérale d’Allemagne. C’est pourquoi la première partie de notre travail examine l’influence que Hans Rosenberg et Eckart Kehr, qui avaient rompu dès la fin de la République de Weimar avec l’histoire des idées pratiquée par Friedrich Meinecke, ont exercée sur les historiens ouest-allemands dans les années 1960. La seconde partie étudie le rôle que l’histoire structurelle a joué dans la transformation de l’historiographie allemande après la Seconde Guerre mondiale et dans la genèse de la nouvelle histoire sociale. L’histoire sociale critique, qui s’est affirmée, à partir de la fin des années 1960, sous l’impulsion décisive de Hans-Ulrich Wehler et de Jürgen Kocka, a été toutefois rapidement soumise à la critique des Cultural Studies et de l’histoire culturelle : on montrera dans la troisième partie que la concurrence entre ces deux orientations disciplinaires a conduit à une réflexion nouvelle sur les singularités de l’histoire allemande et à la remise en question de la valeur heuristique du Sonderweg. / This work studies the development of the historiography of the Federal Republic of Germany and more specifically the gradual pervasiveness of the new social history in the light of a complex relationship that historians from the Federal Republic have maintained with historicism and the German historical tradition. We shall try to demonstrate to what extent renewed research methodologies have accompanied the emergence of different interpretations of the national history and the German Sonderweg. We shall equally shed a more specific light on the question of the continuity of German historiography across the Weimar Republic and the Federal Republic era. Based on these grounds, the first part of our work provides an insight into the influence of Hans Rosenberg and Eckart Kehr, which prevailed over the community of historians in West Germany during the 1960’s, after they broke up with the doctrine of history of ideas theorized by Friedrich Meinecke, well before the end of the Republic of Weimar. The second part studies the role played by structural history in the transformation of German historiography after the Second World War and the formation of the new social history. Critical social history, whose emergence in the late 1960’s, through the decisive impetus of Hans-Ulrich Wehler and Jürgen Kocka, was nonetheless confronted to the criticisms from the Cultural Studies and cultural history: in the third part, we shall show how the opposition between these two academic orientations has resulted in a renewed reflection on the specificities of German history and the re-questioning of the heuristic value of Sonderweg.

Oleanna (1995, David Mamet): nos palcos e nas telas- discussões acerca do poder e da alteridade

THIS PAPER AIMS to research historical artistic events such as Theatre and Cinema, theater text Oleanna by David Mamet (1992), as well as the film adaptation (1994) and the stage adaptation Brazilian (1995) by Ulysses Cruz. Through the work and its adaptations is made a detailed analysis of each language and the context in which they were reworked. For this it was necessary to think of the role of the author and theater director and film as well as the aesthetic and thematic choices in making an adaptation, among the questions: who wins materiality in this process? Moreover, among the discussions, such work also focuses the thematic study of the work, involving topics such as: the power, the politically correct, the student-teacher ratio in university and the issue of harassment, which allow us to think in contemporary society while a society increasingly fragmented and individualized, in which conflicts are increasingly evident, particularly the lack of otherness. In this context, where the ideals of social transformation? Where are the utopias? These are some more of the issues present in this work. / O PRESENTE TRABALHO tem como proposta a investigação histórica de manifestações artísticas como o Teatro e o Cinema, através do texto teatral Oleanna de David Mamet (1992), bem como a adaptação cinematográfica (1994) e a adaptação para o palco brasileiro (1995) por Ulysses Cruz. Através da obra e suas adaptações é feita a análise minuciosa de cada linguagem e o contexto em que foram reelaboradas. Para isso foi necessário pensar no papel do autor e diretor teatral e cinematográfico, bem como nas escolhas estéticas e temáticas na feitura de uma adaptação, considerando, entre outras questões: o que ganha materialidade nesse processo? Além disso, o trabalho se debruça também no estudo temático da obra, que envolve temas como: o poder, o politicamente correto, a relação professor-aluno nas universidades e a questão do assédio, que nos permitem pensar na sociedade contemporânea como cada vez mais fragmentada e individualizada, apresentando conflitos cada vez mais evidentes, sobretudo pela falta de alteridade. Nesse contexto, onde estão os ideais de transformação social? Onde estão as utopias? Essas são mais algumas das questões presentes neste trabalho. / Mestre em História
