O bebê imaginário e o bebê real no contexto da prematuridade

Fleck, Adriana January 2011 (has links)
The preterm birth is a potentially traumatic event in the life of the mother and baby and in this context, the confrontation between the imaginary baby of pregnancy and the real baby can be enhanced. The aim of this study was to investigate the feelings of the mother about the imaginary baby and the real baby (in postpartum, pre-discharge and at 3 months after hospital discharge) in the context of preterm birth. Four mothers of preterm infants participated, primipara, aged 19 to 31 years. The babies were born between 28-29 weeks, weighing 1000-1500g and were hospitalized in the NICU. A study of collective case was carried out, trying to understand each case, the similarities and particularities among them. Interviews were conducted to investigate the experience of pregnancy and motherhood were examined by qualitative content analysis. Results confirmed the expectation of a major confrontation between the real and imaginary baby and the difficulty of the mother in elaborating the loss of the imaginary baby and the adjustment to the real baby, especially in the postpartum period. In the pre-discharge and at 3 months after discharge, it was noted that mothers were able to get closer, both physically and emotionally to the real baby, elaborating gradually the loss of the imaginary baby. However, motherhood proved to be surrounded by constant worries about the baby, with the mothers charging themselves in relation to their maternal performance. The results indicate that preterm birth has generated an intense emotional impact on mothers and constituted a challenge to adapt to the needs of the real premature baby and to motherhood.

Renunciation Of Language In Harold Pinter

Aydin, Turkan 01 August 2006 (has links) (PDF)
Based on Harold Pinter&#039 / s three plays &ldquo / The Homecoming,&rdquo / &ldquo / The Caretaker&rdquo / and &ldquo / The Dumb Waiter,&rdquo / the aim of this study is to explore the idea that an individual cannot be a speaking member of the Symbolic Order, thus of the society unless s/he obeys the prohibitions/commands of language, a concept on which both Pinter and Lacan put great emphasis in their own vision. For Pinter human beings lead a life controlled by some unknown powers and build a disastrous subjective world devoid of linguistic competence. As for Lacan, language imprisons, castrates and pushes the subject into a claustrophobic world, which is portrayed strikingly by Pinter. The result is equally impressive / for Lacan: neurosis or psychosis, oscillating between the Orders/Registers of the Symbolic, Imaginary and Real, not possessing an assigned role in the community, and for Pinter: an absurd world where there is no meaning but a sense of loss. Lacan&rsquo / s explanation for the reasons of this absurd world focuses on two significant factors : the m(O)ther, who meets the basic needs in the Imaginary Order/stage of infancy and who introduces the Father to the child, and the Father, who will enable the child to obey the prohibitions of language, and thus to secure the child&rsquo / s adulthood. Throughout the study the points which will be highlighted are as follows: the characteristics of the absurd drama, the place of Harold Pinter in the contemporary theatre and the justification of a Lacanian reading, subjectivity&rsquo / s constitution.

As the telenovela became a space to portray the characteristics of a people who searchs an identity, the telenovela itself helped to construct this national identity. Through a bibliographical study we aim a speech about the image produced in the telenovela and re-elaborated by the spectator, infering on the acceptance of telenovela in other countries, once it is a specific product developed by and for the brazilian society. The conclusions point to a relation, stablished on the emotional and symbolic plan, between image and spectator, beeing a device for recognition and motivator.

Minimization of Noise and Vibration Related to Driveline Imbalance using Robust Design Processes

Al-Shubailat, Omar 17 August 2013 (has links)
Variation in vehicle noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) response can be caused by variability in design (e.g. tolerance), material, manufacturing, or other sources of variation. Such variation in the vehicle response causes a higher percentage of produced vehicles to have higher levels (out of specifications) of NVH leading to higher number of warranty claims and loss of customer satisfaction, which are proven costly. Measures must be taken to ensure less warranty claims and higher levels of customer satisfactions. As a result, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have implemented design for variation in the design process to secure an acceptable (or within specification) response. The focus here will be on aspects of design variations that should be considered in the design process of drivelines. Variations due to imbalance in rotating components can be unavoidable or costly to control. Some of the major components in the vehicle that are known to have imbalance and traditionally cause NVH issues and concerns include the crankshaft, the drivetrain components (transmission, driveline, half shafts, etc.), and wheels. The purpose is to assess NVH as a result of driveline imbalance variations and develop a tool to help design a more robust system to such variations.
