Este trabalho tem como objetivo refletir sobre a importância de dispositivos de informação, nos processos educativos de Educação Infantil. O estudo foi realizado na Oficina de Informação, dispositivo informacional implantado na Creche/Pré Escola Oeste, localizada no campus da USP, na cidade de São Paulo, em parceria da COSEAS/Divisão de Creches com o PROESI Programa Serviços de Informação em Educação, da ECA/USP. A experiência vivida como coordenadora pedagógica na Creche/ Pré Escola Oeste, assim como a pesquisa, possibilitaram a constatação da importância da criação de novos dispositivos informacionais na Educação Infantil contemporânea, proporcionando um novo olhar sobre a pedagogia da infância e a convicção de que esse tipo de dispositivo de informação não é um luxo, mas uma necessidade dos novos tempos. / This piece of work has the objective of a reflective thinking about the information devices, in educational processes of Infant & Kindergarten Education. The study was performed at the Information Workshop, informational device implemented at the Day Care Center/Preschool Oeste, located at the campus of USP, in the City of São Paulo, with the partnership of COSEAS/ Day Care Center Division and ECA/USPs PROESI Education Information Services Program. Therefore, this study favors the notion of "device" as elaborated in the work of Michel Foucault from a circular axis idea involving knowledge/power/ ethics and derivations as "information devices". The employed concepts and notions are developed in a privileged perspective of the interrelation among Information Science/Philosophy/Social Sciences. / Esta pesquisa analisa as dinâmicas do fenômeno informação como instrumento de desenvolvimento das lógicas e valores presentes nos quadros da Memória Social construídos e geridos no interior dos espaços arquivísticos. Para tanto, este estudo privilegia a noção de “dispositivo” tal como elaborada na obra de Michel Foucault a partir de uma ideia eixo-circular que envolve saber/ poder/ ética e derivações como os “dispositivos de informação”. Os conceitos e noções empregados são desenvolvidos em uma perspectiva privilegiadora da interrelação entre Ciência da Informação/Filosofia/Ciências Sociais.

A tese apresenta o estudo de natureza exploratória do processo de produção partilhada de saberes e apropriação de dispositivo de informação desenvolvido com mestres e aprendizes da cultura de tradição oral. A travessia pelas -veredas da informação? neste território simbólico diferenciado foi delineada com base em três pilares: a) construção de trama conceitual, que contempla o desenvolvimento diacrônico dos processos mnemotécnicos, desde os primórdios até a contemporaneidade, demonstrando como determinados autores ao longo da história participam do jogo de forças sociais, disputando formas, possibilidades, arranjos e ordenamento do conhecimento; b) apresentação do contexto social de pesquisa e respectivo universo simbólico-cultural dos mestres Griôs da tradição oral, por meio de abordagem epistêmica que perpassa pelo reconhecimento ontológico das bibliotecas vivas; c) criação de rede sociotécnica para gestão de dispositivo, com base no conceito operacional de -produção partilhada de saberes? para solução de demandas por apropriação e circulação social de informações. A obra resulta de um diálogo na fronteira entre o legado das culturas de tradição oral e as novas tecnologias da escrita, em que experimentamos uma relação com o saber, voluntária e coletiva, da ciência como artesanato. A materialização da produção partilhada de saberes se deu no fazer prático (savoir-faire) por meio do qual os sujeitos do saber aprenderam a conhecer e a fazer juntos. The crossing of the -information paths? in this differentiated symbolic territory was based on three pillars: a) construction of a conceptual framework, which contemplates the diachronic development of mnemonic processes, from the earliest times to the present time, demonstrating how certain authors throughout (along) the history participate in the game of social forces, disputing forms, possibilities, arrangements and ordering of knowledge; b) presentation of the social context of research and the respective symbolic-cultural universe of the masters Griôs of oral tradition, through an epistemic approach that permeates the ontological recognition of living libraries; c) creation of a sociotechnical network for device management, based on the operational concept of -shared production of knowledge? to solve demands for appropriation and social circulation of information. The work results from a dialogue at the border between the legacy of cultures of oral tradition and the new technologies of writing, in which we experience a relationship with the voluntary and collective knowledge, of the science as craft. The materialization of the shared production of knowledge took place in the practical way (savoir-faire) through which the subjects of knowledge learned to know and to do together. Abstract: ***************************************************** There are several challenges to bridge when designing useable software for mobile devices. The information devices of tomorrow are going to be used in constantly changing contexts and they are going to be designed to enable a mass market for mobile communication. In the software industry the "time to market" factor, which sets firm deadlines for developers, is also important. In such a landscape of complexities is it very important to have design methods that afford the work in an effective way without giving up the impact of potential user. This thesis is the outcome of twenty weeks? research in the field of mobile computational artefacts in relation to developing design methods that will help designers focus on real world use situations. I will examine the opportunity to use the Personas concept [Cooper, A. 1999] in relation to ethnography as a method to afford the design process. I point at how long term work with background field studies in various ways can afford the design process in specific projects and how the traditionally usability work mostly built up around scenario based tests can be helped of the same. I will base my analyses on empirical data from my research site, Symbian. The primary method in my research is participation and observations in the daily work within a design team consisting of eight people. I will show how they work with design today and which methodological directions I think should develop their design work in the future. My research question is, put simply, how background fieldwork and Personas can afford design work. I hope readers of this thesis will gain useful insights and ideas concerning developing design methods in a commercial context for wireless information devices. / Hur kan personas kopplas till etnografi för att göra designarbete mer kopplat till riktiga personer och situationer i verkliga livet.
