O estudo verifica como a pesquisa escolar realizada pelos alunos do sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental, contribui com a construção de conhecimento em Ciências, por meio do desenvolvimento das dimensões da Competência Informacional. Desenvolve uma pesquisa qualitativa por meio de um estudo de caso com nove alunos do Ensino Fundamental. Utiliza a observação, a entrevista semi-estruturada e a análise da produção dos alunos como instrumentos de coletas de dados. Apresenta a análise de dados por meio de dois artigos submetidos a periódicos científicos, a análise de dados traz uma análise com abordagem qualitativa sobre o desenvolvimento das dimensões da Competência Informacional. O estudo é embasado pelo referencial teórico que apresenta o conceito de informação e conhecimento na Sociedade do Conhecimento, aborda o conceito de Competência Informacional e apresenta suas quatro dimensões que são a técnica, estética, ética e política. Também apresenta o conceito de pesquisa escolar no contexto da disciplina de Ciências. Conclui que o desenvolvimento das dimensões da Competência Informacional é importante para a construção do conhecimento em Ciências e auxilia no processo de pesquisa escolar. / The study verifies how school research of students of sixth year of elementary school contributes to a construction of knowledge in Sciences, through the development of the dimensions of Informational Competence. To develop a qualitative research through a case study with nine elementary students. It uses observation, semi-structured interview and analysis of the production of students as instruments of data collection. It presents an analysis of data through two articles submitted to scientific journals, brings a qualitative analysis on the development of the dimensions of Informational Competence. The study is based on the theoretical referential that presents the concept of information and knowledge in the Knowledge Society, addresses the concept of Informative Competence and presents its four dimensions that are a technique, aesthetics, ethics and politics. Also presents the concept of school research at the context of the discipline of Sciences. It concludes that the development of the dimensions of Informative Competence is important for the construction of knowledge in Science and helps in the process of school research.

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar o impacto das mudanças ocorridas na condução dos trabalhos da Comissão da Amazônia ao longo de 18 sessões legislativas no que tange ao aspecto informacional. Para alcançá-lo primeiro mapeamos a presença dos órgãos permanentes da Câmara dos Deputados nas Constituições do Brasil e no Regimento Interno da Câmara, identificando a construção histórica da presença temporária ou permanente de órgãos voltados à Amazônia. Em seguida, traçamos o seu perfil e o dos seus integrantes, substancialmente no que se refere às unidades federativas da Amazônia Legal, nossa principal variável, uma vez que nossa hipótese é que os estados de representação dos parlamentares da Amazônia Legal são determinantes para explicar as mudanças e a manutenção do caráter restritivo e de sua característica informacional. Diagnosticamos que os parlamentares da Região sempre foram preferenciais para integrá-la e para ocupar os seus principais cargos, principalmente o de relator que, mesmo durante a intervenção dos ruralistas na 54ª Legislatura, manteve o favoritismo. Contudo, o esforço empreendido pela Frente Parlamentar da Agropecuária para delegar novas atribuições e deslocar sua ênfase da Amazônia se concretizou, inclusive com a alteração do nome para Comissão de Integração Nacional, Desenvolvimento Regional e da Amazônia, a partir da ruptura da hegemonia de dirigentes da Região. O tema estudado é importante para compreender como se estabelece o jogo de poder interno e relevante para ilustrar os interesses que permeiam a condução dos projetos de lei e que acarretaram mudanças estruturais, porém que, ainda assim, não afetaram a sua característica informacional. A vantagem de conduzir o estudo por meio da estatística descritiva foi mostrar gradativamente a condução das mudanças que já vinham despontando havia uma década. Os dados presentes no estudo foram obtidos a partir dos relatórios de atividades anuais, e/ou de informações prestadas pelo Centro de Documentação e Informação da Câmara dos Deputados, e/ou obtidas no portal da Câmara. / The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of changes in the conduct of the work of the Amazon Committee which occurred over of 18 legislative sessions. To achieve this, we first mapped permanent organs in the Brazilian chamber of deputies in the Constitutions of Brazil and the internal regiment, identifying the historical construction of the temporary or permanent presence of organs around the Amazon. Next, we plotted its profile and the profile of its members substantially in regards to the federal units of the legal Amazon, our main variable; our hypotheses being that the representation of parliamentarians of the legal Amazon are determinants to explain the changes and the maintenance of the restrictive informational feature. We diagnosed that the parliamentarians from that region were always in favor of integrating it and occupying the main positions, mainly that of rapporteur which even during the intervention of the 54th Legislature, maintained favoritism. Nevertheless, the efforts undertaken by the Agriculture Livestock Parliamentary Front to delegate new attributions and shift the emphasis from the Amazon became concrete, including the alteration of the name to Committee on National Integration, Regional Development of the Amazon, from the dominance of the leaders of the region. The theme studied is important to understand how the internal power game is established and is relevant to illustrate the interests which permeates the passing of bills and led structural changes, but which nevertheless, don’t affect the informational feature. The advantage of conducting a study through descriptive statistics was to gradually show driving changes which were already emerging for a decade. The data presented in this study was obtained from reports on annual activities and or information provided by the Centre of Documentation and Information of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies and/or obtained from the website of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies.

Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo apresentar uma proposta de um sistema informacional constituído por ficha técnica sobre materiais, como estudo de caso os ferros fundidos (FoFos). Para auxiliar na formulação dessa proposta, foi desenvolvido um glossário através do embasamento nos pressupostos da Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia (TCT). As etapas que delinearam o estudo terminográfico iniciaram na definição do corpus para a coleta de termos específicos sobre a área, para isso, realizou-se uma análise de plataformas informacionais sobre materiais similares, e as demais informações relevantes foram elencadas em material bibliográfico, seguido da coleta e distribuição (mapas conceituais) dos dados para a elaboração da ficha síntese, concluindo com a definição dos termos selecionados. Para compor o banco de dados, foram realizados procedimentos experimentais de metalografia com o viés de obter micrografias dos diferentes tipos de ferros fundidos além da obtenção de imagens de produtos acabados e o desenvolvimento de pictogramas para o design da informação. Com uma linguagem adaptada para atender o binômio Design e Engenharia, o sistema informacional apresenta informações técnicas relevantes para o desenvolvimento de um projeto, conteúdo de fácil acesso para ser utilizado em ambientes distintos, como salas de aula, escritórios, indústrias e outros. / This research aims to present a formal proposal of a informational system consisting of technical sheet and glossary, being Casting Iron (FoFos) the case study. For the formulation of this proposal, it was developed a glossary through the basement on the presuppositions of the Communicative Theory of Terminology (CTT). The steps that outlined the terminographic study began on the corpus definition for the collection of specific terms about the field, therefore, it was accomplished an informational standards analysis on similar materials, and further relevant information were listed as bibliographic material, followed by gathering and distribution (conceptual maps) of the data for the elaboration of the synthesis record, concluding with the definition of the selected terms. In order to compose the database, metallographic experimental procedures were made, keeping in mind the bias of obtaining micrographies from the different types of casting iron, plus the attainment of finished products images, and the pictograms process to design of the information. Along an adapted language for the binomial Design and Engineering support, the informational system presents relevant technical information for the upgrowth of a project, easy access content to be used over distinguished environments, such as classrooms, offices, factories and others.

abstract: Social media offers a powerful platform for the independent digital content producer community to develop, disperse, and maintain their brands. In terms of information systems research, the broad majority of the work has not examined hedonic consumption on Social Media Sites (SMS). The focus has mostly been on the organizational perspectives and utilitarian gains from these services. Unlike through traditional commerce channels, including e-commerce retailers, consumption enhancing hedonic utility is experienced differently in the context of a social media site; consequently, the dynamic of the decision-making process shifts when it is made in a social context. Previous research assumed a limited influence of a small, immediate group of peers. But the rules change when the network of peers expands exponentially. The assertion is that, while there are individual differences in the level of susceptibility to influence coming from others, these are not the most important pieces of the analysis--unlike research centered completely on influence. Rather, the context of the consumption can play an important role in the way social influence factors affect consumer behavior on Social Media Sites. Over the course of three studies, this dissertation will examine factors that influence consumer decision-making and the brand personalities created and interpreted in these SMS. Study one examines the role of different types of peer influence on consumer decision-making on Facebook. Study two observes the impact of different types of producer message posts with the different types of influence on decision-making on Twitter. Study three will conclude this work with an exploratory empirical investigation of actual twitter postings of a set of musicians. These studies contribute to the body of IS literature by evaluating the specific behavioral changes related to consumption in the context of digital social media: (a) the power of social influencers in contrast to personal preferences on SMS, (b) the effect on consumers of producer message types and content on SMS at both the profile level and the individual message level. / Dissertation/Thesis / Ph.D. Business Administration 2013

Nossa preocupação surgiu da necessidade de analisarmos a ordem, (dentro do domínio do icônico), que se estabelece nos sistemas de montagem de feiras e exposições, seus paradigmas e sintagmas, através do ponto de vista perceptivo, informacional, gerador de protótipos e experimentações. Por tratar-se de um ambiente inerentemente efêmero e transitório, as montagens realizadas em eventos tendem a proporcionar ambientes renovados. Em síntese, provocam menor impacto porque os prazos de sua existência são limitados. Removidos dos lugares que ocuparam devolvem-lhes suas condições originais. Logo, é esse o caminho para chegarmos aos usos justapostos e complexos, onde, sociedades cada vez mais industrializadas, exigem a necessidade da ocupação de espaços possibilitando diversas funções, com atividades sazonais e ou eventuais, organizam espaços cada vez mais informatizados, distintos de caráter essencialmente mecânicos e com a qualidade de fazer preservar espaços montados para atividades transitórias, os espaços como complexos portadores de informações e transformados intencionalmente em veículos informacionais. / In the iconic domain, this thesis focuses in analyzing the order that emerges in the erection systems of fairs and exhibits, their syntagmas and corresponding paradigms, under the perspective of perception, information and production, which generates experimentations, models and prototypes. Because the assemblies of several fairs and exhibits are inherently short-term and transitional spaces, they tend to constitute renewed environments. In short, these spaces cause less environmental impact because of their short existence. Once removed, the place they were set returns to its former condition. As demanded by increasingly industrialized societies, this leads to juxtaposed and complex uses, a more diversified occupation of spaces that permit various functions, with eventual and/or regular activities. In this sense, more and more computerized spaces emerge, different from the essentially mechanic ones, and able to carry short-term transitional activities; spaces as complex carriers of information and intentionally transformed into informational vehicles.

Analisa as funções do arquivo como esfera pública informacional, tendo como fundamento teórico a Teoria da Ação Comunicativa, de Jurgen Habermas. Destaca a importância do direito à informação e acesso às informações arquivísticas na construção da cidadania. Reflete sobre a função social dos arquivos na gestão da informação, e seu papel de mediador das informações públicas, garantindo a transparência das ações do Estado, na consolidação da democracia. A partir do estudo das correspondências remetidas pelos cidadãos, para o Prefeito de Porto Alegre, Olívio Dutra, entre os anos de 1988 e 1990, analisa os conteúdos informacionais e as estratégias de comunicação utilizadas pelos cidadãos como forma de participação e de controle sobre ações governamentais. As cartas são tratadas como narrativas dos cidadãos, pois elas são uma forma de comunicação com o governo municipal, além de darem visibilidade aos problemas do cotidiano da cidade e outros temas de interesse coletivo. Conclui que os arquivos públicos como fontes de informações são elementos essenciais para garantir o acesso às informações públicas e auxiliar na ampliação da cidadania, pois subsidiam os cidadãos para a participação no debate público sobre os temas de interesse da sociedade. / This work examines the role played by archives as an informational public sphere, based on Jurgen Habermas’s concept of Public Sphere. It stresses the importance of the right to information and access to archivistic information on construction of citizenship. It reflects upon the social role played by archives on information management and as mediator of public information, guaranteeing the transparency of the actions taken by the State in consolidating democracy. Based on the study of letters sent by citizens to Porto Alegre Mayor Olívio Dutra in 1988, 1989 and 1990, the work examines the informational content and communication strategies they use as a way of participation and control government actions. Letters are seen as citizen’s narratives, since they are a way to communicate with the Municipal Government, besides pointing out everyday problems in the city as well as other issues of collective interest. It concludes that public archives as sources of information are essential elements to guarantee access to public information and help to broaden citizenship, since they assist citizens in their participation in the public debate on issues of interest for society, configuring an informational public sphere.

Este trabalho apresenta um estudo da questão do ensino da biblioteca e da apropriação cultural do dispositivo, tendo como parte essencial a elaboração de um programa de apresentação da biblioteca da Estação do Conhecimento do Programa Einstein na Comunidade Paraisópolis, espaço singular para a construção de saberes informacionais. Para tanto, defende a necessidade da elaboração de objetos privilegiados, desenvolvidos colaborativamente, que foram utilizados em um diálogo com a complexidade das linguagens e usos da biblioteca. O estudo mostrou que a apresentação e a inclusão dos sujeitos na biblioteca e nos ambientes de informação organizada é um processo complexo, que extrapola a dimensão mecânica da transmissão de informações ou de dados sobre como o dispositivo está organizado. / This work presents a study in the matter of the library instruction and construction of meaning for the use of the informational/cultural center, having as its essential part the development of an introduction program of the Estação do Conhecimento do Programa Einstein na Comunidade Paraisópolis\'s library. This is a unique place for the process of developing new informational knowledge. For that, this research supports that these kinds of programs need peculiar objects, which were developed in collaboration with the whole group of people involved. These peculiar objects were used in a dialogue with the complexity of the languages and uses of the library. The study showed that the introduction and incorporation of the individuals in the library and in the information environments is a complex process that goes beyond the mechanic dimension of the data and information transmission or how the devices are organized

Neste contexto, a rede urbana passou a articular distantes lugares e estabeleceu uma economia e um território nacional. Dessa forma, é de fundamental importância entender a rede urbana como um arcabouço que reforça e influi nos conteúdos sócio-econômicos do território, sendo, portanto, uma dimensão sócio-espacial da sociedade. Pensar a cidade, e de modo especial as pequenas cidades e seu papel na rede urbana nacional e regional permite-nos considerar as especificidades apresentadas pelas mesmas na formação e desenvolvimento urbano do país. O presente trabalho objetiva-se analisar o processo de formação da rede urbana no sul da Bahia buscando compreender o papel dos centros de pequeno porte, como a cidade de Canavieiras-BA, no contexto da referida rede. O estudo será norteado pela concepção proposta por Milton Santos (1979) ao considerar que a rede urbana funciona a partir dos dois circuitos da economia urbana / Abstract: The extent to which the urbanization process intensified in Brazil, changes were happening in society and featuring new patterns of production, distribution and consumption. In this context, the urban network began to articulate distant places and established an economy and a national territory. In this way, it is essential to understand the urban network as a framework that reinforces and influences the socio-economic content of the territory, therefore, a socio-spatial dimension of society. Thinking the city, and especially small towns and their role in national and regional urban network allows us to consider the specifics presented in the same formation and urban development in the country. The present study aims to analyze the formation process of the urban network in Bahia south trying to understand the role of small business centers, as the city of Canavieiras-BA, in the context of the network.
