E-agroverslo reiškinio analizė e-verslo transakcijų modelių pagrindu / Transaction Models Based Analysis of E-Business Phenomenon

Tyrimo objektas: e-agroverslo reiškinys. Tyrimo tikslas: išnagrinėti e-agroverslo reiškinį teoriniu ir praktiniu aspektu. Uždaviniai: 1. Atskleisti e-verslo ir e-agroverslo teorinius aspektus. 2. Išanalizuoti e-agroverslo reiškinį empiriniu tyrimų metodu t.y. atlikti apklausą ir nustatyti faktinę e-agroverslo padėtį Lietuvoje. 3. Išnagrinėti e-agroverslo reiškinį kiekvieno iš transakcijų modelių pagrindu ir pagrįsti internetinių technologijų taikymo transakcijose privalumus. Tyrimo metodai: analizuojant e-agroverslo reiškinį e-verslo transakcijų pagrindu buvo naudojami šie tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė ir sintezė, loginis apibendrinimas, anketinė apklausa ir sisteminė analizė. Tyrimo rezultatai: • pirmojoje darbo dalyje pateikta e-verslo samprata ir išanalizuota e-agroverslo koncepcija. • antrojoje darbo dalyje aptartas atliktas tyrimas t.y. išnagrinėti Kauno rajono gyventojų anketinės paklausos metu gauti duomenys. • trečioje dalyje išanalizuoti verslas-darbuotojui (B2E), verslas - vartotojui (B2C), vartotojas-verslui (C2B), verslas - verslui (B2B), verslas valdžios institucijoms (B2G) ir valdžios institucijos - verslui (G2B) transakcijų modelių taikymo e-agroversle ypatumai. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Research object: the phenomenon of agribusiness. Research aim: to analyse e-agribusiness phenomenon theoretically and practically. Objectives: 1. To reveal theoretical aspects of e-business and e-agribusiness; 2. To perform empirical analysis of e-agribusiness, to execute survey in order to identify factual status of e-agribusiness in Lithuania. 3. To discuss the concept of e-agribusiness on the basis of all e-business transaction models and to substantiate the usage of internet technologies in the transactions. Research methods: analysis and synthesis of literature, logical generalization, survey and systemic analysis. Empirical study was based on logic and methodological setups of similar surveys. When those three elements gather, several opportunities and possibilities are offered to people. The site Omelete, research object of this dissertation, is the result of a project prepared by friends, comics and games fans, that didn’t find enough information about their favorite issues and decided to create a blog to share matters about pop culture and satisfy their curiosities and wills. Nowadays, what was born as a blog is considered the largest online vehicle about pop culture in Brazil. The objective of this dissertation was to verify the characteristics of the object and the context in which it is inserted and which factors put it in its present position. For that, we made a literature review to establish the theoretical basis of the dissertation. Then, we classified the published matters on the site about the Comic-Con International: San Diego during a pre-determined time and analyzed some achieved data. At last, we described the event Comic Con Experience, organized by Omelete and by Chiaroscuro, and ascertained the information we collected from the literature revision to the personal experience in the convention. The society we live in has permitted the appearance, developing and maintenance of a variety of tribes and cultures. It is a society where technology provides tools for people to communicate, share information and interact with internet users with similar interests, such as the consumption of the same cultural products. These actions are responsible for the formation of individual and group identity which they belong to. In a participative form, the groups build knowledge and strengthen the collective intelligence. / Identidade, cultura e tecnologia são os temas centrais desta dissertação. Quando esses três elementos se encontram, diversas oportunidades e possibilidades são oferecidas aos indivíduos. O site Omelete, objeto de pesquisa escolhido, é resultado de um projeto elaborado por amigos, fãs de histórias em quadrinhos e games, que não encontravam informações suficientes sobre seus temas favoritos e decidiram criar um blog para compartilhar conteúdos sobre cultura pop e satisfazer suas curiosidades e vontades. Hoje, o que nasceu como blog é considerado o maior veículo online sobre cultura pop do Brasil. O objetivo da dissertação foi verificar as características do objeto e do contexto em que se encontra e quais fatores o colocaram em sua posição atual. Para isso, primeiro fizemos uma revisão de literatura para estabelecer as bases teóricas da dissertação. Aim of the master's thesis is to show businessmen possibilities, offered by Internet, of developing and searching for new distribution channels to increase sales and awareness of their companies and products. Internet is a great phenomenon. Its importance is going to increase. This development brings the growth of social network, that is going to become important means of expanding promotion and a powerful distribution channel. Unfortunately due to the speed of the present time, TV and other media the traditional means of promotion is not able to keep up with the advantages, brought by Internet commercial. The advantage and positive of the network is possibility of sharp aiming at a certain group of interest. Taxes of small and medium firms make a significant part of state incomes. Firms try to minimalize invested costs to be able to survive. Mostly the costs are connected with commercial. Thanks to Internet it is possible to nullify this aspect.

Considering these aspects, many producers do not have software to carry out the management control of their productions. Information systems have greatly added in various industries, and it would be no different in agribusiness. Thus, it is essential that the lagged technologically farmers can have access to the tools to become more competitive enterprise. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop web system that aims to coffee production management. Such a system was developed from interviews with coffee farmers in the southern region of Minas Gerais, where ascertained how it is necessary to online systems that auxiliary in the management of properties. To develop the system used the PHP web programming language, JavaScript and MySQL database. It should be noted that the system has the responsive feature, adapting well in different sizes and shapes of devices. The system was developed by the importance of having a friendly interface and easy to use. / A região Sul de Minas Gerais destaca-se nacionalmente pelo seu cultivo de café, onde a maioria de seus produtores têm características de agricultura familiar, desta forma tendo certa carência tecnológica. Diante destes aspectos, muitos produtores não possuem softwares que realizem o controle de gestão de suas produções. Os sistemas de informação muito têm acrescentado em diversos setores, e não seria diferente no agronegócio. Sendo assim, torna-se imprescindível que os produtores rurais defasados tecnologicamente possam ter acesso às ferramentas que permitam tornar o empreendimento mais competitivo. Portanto, o objetivo do presente trabalho foi desenvolver sistema web que tem como finalidade a gestão da produção de café. Tal sistema foi desenvolvido a partir de entrevistas realizadas com produtores de café da região Sul de Minas Gerais, em que averiguaram o quão se faz necessário sistemas online que os auxiliassem na gestão das propriedades. Para desenvolvimento deste utilizou-se a linguagem de programação web PHP, JavaScript e banco de dados MySQL. Deve-se ressaltar que o sistema apresenta a característica responsiva, adaptando assim a diversos tamanhos e formatos de dispositivos. Desenvolveu-se o sistema mediante a importância de se ter uma interface amigável e de fácil utilização. Utilizou-se a modalidade web e com a característica responsiva tendo em mente que o produtor rural pode fazer o controle de sua produção em sua propriedade rural e também de outros locais, bastando ter acesso à Internet e estar em posse de um dispositivo de sua preferência.

The purpose of this paper is to summarize current knowledge about electronic trading and to outline the benefits and drawbacks of potential software solutions in electronic trading. This paper is focused not only on theoretical findings and bases, relating to electronic trading, but also on the possibilities of establishing such trading within the confines of the Czech environment. Its goal is to select a suitable open source software solution for electronic trading based on predefined criteria and to warn of potential challenges relating to it. This paper should contemporaneously serve to help an individual interested in establishing electronic trading to decide which solution is the most appropriate, even if he/she selects a product that is not open source. This should serve, in such a case, as a methodical set of instructions that guides the individual to select the correct solution. Among other aspects, this paper should also help an individual interested in electronic trading to decide, whether or not an open source solution is suitable, and if there is any merit in exploring this option.

Realigning reverse e-auctions for organisational magility.

No / With the advent and maturity of the internet, reverse electronic auctions (e-auctions) are now an important mechanism for public and private sector organisations, in the procurement of goods and services. Here, a novel link is made between reverse electronic auctions (e-auctions) and its potential impact on organisational agility, a link not previously developed in the literature. In this paper, we justify this relationship from a theoretical perspective. We investigate how information and internet technology impacts procurement, by an analysis and evaluation of the literature. E-auctions are reviewed and organisational agility defined; the advantages of agile management are also identified and the role that e-auctions can play in achieving this, discussed. Strategies for re-aligning reverse e-auctions in support of organisational agility are proposed and the advantages of this process discussed. Recommendations for future practice that will maximise the chances of realising agile systems management are also presented. Finally, areas for further research are identified.

The motivation of educators for introducing internet technology into education, with special reference to secondary school classrooms

The purpose of the research was to determine how educators could be motivated to implement internet technology in education. The literature study highlighted the need for e-learning while suggesting that educator support would not be achieved easily. The empirical study, however, revealed that at the international school examined, educators accept internet learning and demonstrate a willingness to introduce it into their pedagogy, were a blended approach to be adopted. Technological and psychological barriers had already been breached, as e-learning was taking place in a non-threatening environment. Educators were being empowered to experiment with e-learning in their subject areas. The study revealed that, having already embraced e-learning methodology educators would continue to do so if they could clearly perceive the benefits to be achieved. The study also showed that given a technologically nurturing environment, it would not be difficult to motivate educators to introduce internet technology into their pedagogy. / Educational Studies / M.Ed. 隨著網際網路的普及,智慧型手機與物聯網開始興起,根據資策會的調查,台灣約有49.5%的智慧型手機占有率,大約每2人就有一人擁有智慧型手機,而物聯網的興起,製造了大量的數據與資料,而這些數據與資料透過不同的處理方式,可帶給企業不同的商業智慧與洞見,而傳統產業因此面臨了巨大的轉變與挑戰,優步(Uber)就是改變傳統計程車產業與物聯網的一個例子,顧客不再需要招手才能搭上計程車,靠著網路、手機APP與GPS定位系統即可獲知車輛資訊、到達時間與聯絡司機,而優步可掌握乘客資訊、行車路線與顧客服務。不僅僅是計程車產業,亞馬遜的崛起也代表了傳統零售業的轉變,因此如何面對巨量資料對傳統企業都將是一項挑戰。 巨量資料的導入與分析可以提供企業掌握消費者行為,也可透過數據分析研發新服務與產品,此研究從三方面來探討金融產業與網路科技業導入巨量資料系統的關鍵因素,分別為導入流程、企業本身與巨量資料系統,另外藉由三家個案公司訪談,並輔以文獻所探討的研究架構來進行驗證”金融業與網路科技業導入巨量資料的流程為何?”、”金融業與網路科技業導入巨量資料時的關鍵因素?”、” 金融業與網路科技業導入巨量資料後有何優勢?” 本研究最後發現,金融業與網際網路業導入巨量資料分成三個階段,首先企業會先詮釋自身對巨量資料之定義,定義自身巨量資料之意義後,企業會開始集體研討導入流程,依照自身對巨量資料的詮釋來集體擬定對企業最好的導入流程,此階段通常會是三階段中耗時最長,也需做許多內外部研究、規劃與管理。最後一階段為實做階段,企業會依照集思廣益後所擬定出的計畫來完成巨量資料的導入。而本研究透過個案訪談也發現七項導入巨量資料之關鍵因素,包含,導入隊伍的組成、高層管理者的支持、導入時機、巨量資料系統的選擇、明確的目標與策略、內外部員工訓練與支援。最後企業運用第三方與開放式資料軟體來處理巨量資料使企業更了解顧客需求與運用於新產品研發。 / With the popularity of internet, smart phones and Internet of Things begin to emerge. According to Institute for Information Industry, there are approximately 49.5% of smart devices in Taiwan, which mean every two people will own at least one smart device. In addition, more devices are connected to the internet. Therefore, tremendous amount of data is created and increased exponentially. With applicable and correct techniques, Big Data can provide valuable insight and business intelligent. Traditional industries are forced to change. For example, Uber is one innovative idea that changes the ways people ride taxi. Riding taxi become more efficient and effective with Uber. This research explores critical factors of Big Data implementation on financial and internet technology industries from three perspectives. This includes key processes of the Big Data implementation, enterprises factors, and the Big Data system. Moreover, literature review was conducted to. In addition, three case studies were interviewed and analyzed based on research framework. Lastly, three research questions are answered. First, what are the key process for financial and internet technology industries implementing the Big Data system? Second, what are the critical factors for financial and internet technology industries implementing the Big Data system? Third, what are the potential benefits after the Big Data implementation? The research findings are primarily categorized into two parts. First, there are three phases of financial institution and internet technology industries implementing the Big Data system. The three phases included defining, brainstorming and implementation phases. The three phases are described below: 1. Defining Phase: Companies will first define their own interpretation of Big Data in order to plan and coordinated their implementation. 2. Brainstorming Phase: Companies averagely spent most of the time in this phase. The implementation team leads must brainstorm to find the best way to enforce and carry out the Big Data project by searching, organizing and surveying internal and externally. 3. Implementation Phase: Companies follow their previous made proposal steps by steps. This research also concluded and found several critical factors during the Big Data implementation. The critical factors included but not limited to: 1. An implementation team regardless the size to carry out the Big Data project 2. Top management’s commitment on implementation 3. Shattering the boundaries through self-efficacy : exploring the social media habits of South African previously disadvantaged entrepreneurs

Thesis (MPhil)--Stellenbosch University, 2013. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The primary purpose of this study is to explore the social media habits of South African previously disadvantaged entrepreneurs and the way in which the activity of online social networking through social networking sites (SNS) results in the outcome of building social capital for a business venture. At the heart of addressing the research topic is the concept of selfefficacy, which is explored as a key component of human motivation and behaviour. The study explores how self-efficacy beliefs are developed with regard to social media usage and their potential to influence positive outcomes for a business. Based on the research topic, the study which is empirical in nature, has applied a qualitative research design in order to interpret rather than measure self-efficacy behaviours related to social media usage. A purposive non-probability sampling procedure has been adopted to select twelve previously disadvantaged South African entrepreneurs for the study. Semi-structured interviews provide for an interactive and insightful data collection process. As a qualitative study, attention is given to guidelines which establish reliability and validity. Key findings from the study support and refine established Internet selfefficacy research (Eastin & LaRose, 2000) based on Social Cognitive Theory (Bandura, 1986). Based on the established relationships between various constructs and self-efficacy beliefs, the results of the study have been interpreted positively. The findings of the study contribute to the current digital divide debate, and point to a narrowing of the access and participation gap. According to the sample, social media has become embedded in their daily lives for both social and business purposes, and is contributing towards building social capital. This study provides scope to further explore social media as a new opportunity for previously disadvantaged entrepreneurs in South Africa.
