Odolnost spotřebičů na krátkodobé poklesy a výpadky napětí / The Appliances Immunity to Short Voltage Dips and Interruptions

Bok, Jaromír January 2011 (has links)
This Ph.D. thesis deals with problems about voltage dips and short voltage interruptions, generally named as voltage events, which origin in power supply networks and have a negative influence for all connected electric appliances. In this thesis single phase appliances are considered. These problems closely relate with area of electromagnetic compatibility which solve all questions about correct operation of different types of electric appliances during electromagnetic disturbances impact. Voltage events are ones of the many types of electromagnetic disturbances. The connection between disturbance sources and sensitive electric appliances is created by power supply lines. The immunity of electric appliances to voltage dips and short interruptions is currently tested via voltage dips with strictly defined parameters which are intended by class of electromagnetic environment in which the usage of electric appliance is recommended. During immunity tests the rectangular shape of voltage dips is preferred. The main descriptive parameters of testing voltage events are the residual voltage and the event time duration. But voltage dips and short interruptions defined by this way do not closely relate with parameters of real voltage dips and interruptions occurred in public supply system where parameters of voltage dips are variable. Moreover in the power supply system there are many of others voltage parameters which can have a significant influence to immunity level of connected electric appliances. This Ph.D. thesis also deals with finding more voltage event parameters. Although the voltage events occurrence in the power supply system is not limited and voltage events are considered only as informative voltage parameter it is important to monitor voltage events occurrence. The monitoring device has to be able to operate for ling time period and it has to detect parameters of voltage events with adequate accuracy. The accuracy of detected event parameters and the detection delay depends on the detection algorithm characteristics. That is why the part of this thesis relates with a comparison of several detection algorithms and their abilities to correct detection of voltage event parameters. The main purpose of this thesis is the proposal of connection between classification of voltage dips and short interruptions occurred in power supply system with the classification of electric appliances immunity to these voltage events. On the base of many of provided electric appliances immunity tests and also on the base of long time period voltage events monitoring the special compatibility levels are proposed in this thesis. The observation of proposed compatibility levels will bring the increasing level of reliable operation of all connected electric appliances.

L'intérêt de l'enfant à naître / The interest of the unborn child

Vincent, Anne-Violette 10 December 2018 (has links)
In positive law, the qualification of the unborn child is unclear and he has no status. However, his interest is taken into consideration since Roman law through the adage « infans conceptus pro nato habetur quoties de commodis ejus agitur » according to which the conceived child is deemed to be born whenever it is in his interest. Originally, this adage was exclusively focused on the patrimonial rights. Today, the preservation of the interest of the unborn child has undergone major changes far beyond this Latin maxim. Several factors explain this fact : the legalization of the termination of pregnancy, techniques of assisted procreation, the development of scientific research, evolution prenatal and fetal medicine. The question of preserving the unborn child’s interest is today constantly renewed because of the constant development of medical ans scientific practices, and under the impetus of the concept of the born child’s interest. The unborn child’s interest conflicts with other competing rights and competing interests. These rights and interests are the subject of strong demands in society and lead to intense debates over conciliation solutions. The antagonism of these rights and interests leads to important contradictions and inconsistencies that are difficult to resolve. Therefore, to apprehend the interest of the unborn child in positive law is to analyze its manifestations in termes of conciliation with competing rights and interests. Our study aims to determine the content of the interest of the unborn child in French law, in order to highlight the existing coherences and inconsistencies, and this in a perspective of rationalization

Situation awareness and the selection of interruption handling strategies during the medication administration process : a qualitative study

Sitterding, Mary Cathryn January 2014 (has links)
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) / Medication administration error remains a leading cause of preventable death. A gap exists in understanding attentional dynamics, such as nurse situation awareness (SA) while managing interruptions during medication administration. The aim was to describe SA during medication administration and interruption handling strategies. A crosssectional, descriptive design was used. Cognitive task analysis (CTA) methods informed analysis of 230 interruptions. Themes were analyzed by SA level. The nature of the stimuli noticed emerged as a Level 1 theme, in contrast to themes of uncertainty, relevance, and expectations (Level 2 themes). Projected or anticipated interventions (Level 3 themes) reflected workload balance between team and patient foregrounds. The prevalence of cognitive time-sharing during the medication administration process was significant or may be remarkable. Findings substantiated the importance of the concept of SA within nursing as well as the contribution of CTA in understanding the cognitive work of nursing during medication administration.

Kvinnor kan också prata hockey : En samtalsanalys av maktbalansen utifrån samtalsstrukturen i C Mores expertstudio / Women can also talk hockey : A conversation analysis of power through the structure of talk in C Mores expert studio

Randåker, Elin, Johnsson, Alexandra January 2021 (has links)
The study ”Women can also talk hockey” aims to examine C Mores expert studio for ice hockey. The purpose is to investigate what the balance of power looks like in two studio conversations based on the structure of talk. The material analyzed in this essay is two conversations taken from C More Hockey, which broadcasts the Swedish hockey league [SHL] during autumn of 2021. The theories that we use in this essay is power, conversation analysis and gender. All material has been transcribed and to be able to understand the content, we have used the method of conversation analysis. Our analysis scheme will help us identify the structure of the studio conversations, which power strategies are used by the participants and if we can distinguish any differences based on genders´ conversational styles.     The results of the analysis showed that the conversations in the expert studio at C More follow a special structure. The conversation strategies used to seize power were turn divisions, talking time, agreements, interruptions and argumentation. Through subject control, both the male and female conversation leaders retained power by controlling the conversation in an intelligent way. In both conversations, the conversation style followed the typical features along the conversation leader's normative gender. It was remarkable that it turned out in the conclusion that the cultural and social notions of the normative gender were challenged in conversation 1 with a female conversation leader and that they are maintained in conversation 2 with a male conversation leader.
