A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo explorar as intervenções urbanas na cidade de Porto Alegre e seus efeitos sobre os modos de vida na cidade. Quer-se problematizar e construir entendimentos das forças que constituem essas intervenções, que por vezes escapam do controle e padronização urbanístico, por outras integram grandes projetos de revitalização e ocupação do espaço urbano. Tais intervenções podem estar em sintonia com a arte urbana, o a(r)tivismo, o efêmero, o urbanístico, a arquitetura e os movimentos de ocupação dos espaços públicos. Através de uma metodologia baseada na errância e na cartografia, em que o pesquisador se propõe a fazer do próprio corpo superfície aos acontecimentos, constroem-se narrativas acerca das forças que compõem a cidade. Busca-se, assim, captar os efeitos das intervenções em suas possibilidades de enfrentamento aos imperativos homogeneízadores da cidade - atrelados às premissas do biopoder e da produção capitalística - ou as possibilidades de criação e defesa da potência de vida, propondo novas estilísticas e formas de enfrentamento do niilismo passivo contemporâneo. Em suas andanças, o pesquisador-errante capta efeitos de abertura de limiares, de possibilidades de encontros, de dissipação do medo, de produção de espetáculo, de emergência de microfacismos, de gentrificação, entrelaçando-se à produção do novo nas subjetividades emergentes no meio urbano. Tal produção conjura subjetividades-containers, isto é, subjetividades blindadas e descartáveis, de acordo com a lógica do consumo, do espetáculo e de uma saúde reduzida ao corpo. Entretanto, também operam heterogeneidades, produzem desvios potencializadores da vida, quando se colocam como medianeras, promovendo possibilidades de criação e de defesa da potência de vida. Problematiza-se, portanto, como as intervenções urbanas produzem narrativas acerca dos modos de vida na cidade, descrevendo suas singularidades discrepantes e paradoxais. / This research aims to explore the urban interventions in the city of Porto Alegre and its effects on ways of lives in the city. The intention is to discuss and build understandings of the forces that constitute these interventions, which often escape control and urban standardization, in other times are part of larger revitalization projects and occupation of urban space. Such interventions can be in tune with the urban art, activism art, the ephemeral, the urban, architecture and public spaces occupation movements. Through a methodology based on wanderings and cartography, in which the researcher intends to make his own body the surface of the events, narratives are constructed about the forces that make up the city. It seeks, therefore, to capture the effects of the interventions in their coping possibilities to homogenizing imperatives of the city – linked to premises of biopower and capitalistic production - or the possibility of creating and defending the potential of life, proposing new stylistic and forms of confrontation of contemporary passive nihilism. In his walks, the researcher-wandering captures effects of opening thresholds, of meeting possibilities, of dissipation of fear, spectacle production, emergency of microfacisms, gentrification, intertwining with the production of the new in the emerging subjectivities in the urban environment. For now, this production conjures subjectivities-containers, this means, armored and disposable subjectivities, according to the logic of consumption, spectacle and health reduced to the body. However, they also operate heterogeneities, produce deviations of potentiators of life when posing as sidewalls, promoting opportunities for the creation and defense of potential of life. It is problematized, therefore, how urban interventions produce narratives about the ways of life in the city, describing their disparate and paradoxical singularities.

Consiste na reflexão produzida a partir da realização de três proposições no campo da intervenção urbana desenvolvidas entre 2013 e 2015 nas cidades de Porto Alegre/RS, Juazeiro do Norte/CE e Caxias do Sul/RS. Toma como fio condutor a análise de trabalhos instaurados a partir de e em relação a monumentos públicos e equipamentos urbanos associados a imagens e objetos cotidianos. Ao se inscreverem no espaço público, essas práticas artísticas evidenciam problemáticas específicas desse lugar atravessado por diversos agenciamentos e tensões e que demanda constantes reelaborações de métodos e de posicionamentos pelo artista-pesquisador. Compreendidos como ações-dispositivo, esses trabalhos se propõem como ações políticas ao evidenciar a importância das formas de inserção contextual e das relações estabelecidas entre público e obra em práticas de intervenção urbana. Como desdobramento, a análise aborda questões relacionadas ao estatuto da imagem fotográfica enquanto registro processual que articula noções de obra e documento. / This research is established as an investigation process that relates artistic practice and textual production. O estudo que apresento se fundamenta na análise de um conjunto de obras que produzi entre os anos de 2002 e 2008. São trabalhos que partem de uma influência do estudo da arquitetura e que procuram por meio da prática artística, estabelecer relações com o espaço construído, seja inseridos em contexto urbano ou entre as paredes de uma galeria. As propostas são normalmente definidas por processos de levantamento, sublinhamento ou encaixe. Procedimentos que descrevem meu contato com o espaço desde a observação até a inserção de peças tridimensionais que provocam pequenas alterações na arquitetura ou no olhar do passante. Busco desenvolver meios de interagir com os lugares, problematizando e atraindo a atenção do público para o contexto trabalhado. Como base de projeto, investigo as influências físicas do fenômeno perceptivo, assim como os fatores históricos, culturais e sociais que participam da formação das situações espaçotemporais nas quais os trabalhos se inserem. Soma-se a isto uma pesquisa de referências teóricas e exemplos de artistas que servem como pontos de sustentação para as questões relativas à minha própria produção. Um caminho que aponta para a criação de vínculos formais e possíveis vias de diálogo entre a arte, a arquitetura e a vida nas cidades. / The research presented here is based on the study of a group of artworks I produced between the years of 2002 and 2008. They are propositions originated from my experience with architecture and, through the artistic practice; they establish relations with the physical space, whether inserted in an urban context or within the walls of an art gallery. The works are usually defined by actions such as surveys, embeddings or adjustments. These procedures describe my contact with the surroundings, from the stage of observation until the insertion of volumes which try to incite subtle alterations in the architecture or in the public's way of looking. I search for means of interacting with the sites, questioning them and attracting the public's attention to the context of the work. As a support for the project I propose to investigate the physical influences of perception, together with the historical, cultural and social factors that take part in the development of time-space situations where the works are installed. In addition, a research of conceptual references and practical examples from artists serves as an orientation point to a diversity of issues related to my own production. A path that points to the creation of visual connections and exchange possibilities between art, architecture and the life in the cities.

Este estudo dedica-se a investigar aspectos da percepção espacial estruturando-se como um laboratório de ações artísticas que visam criar alterações na configuração de espaços projetados – galerias, ateliers e ambientes residenciais – além de atuar como elementos estimuladores da experiência na fronteira entre corpo e arquitetura. As intervenções que executei ao longo do período de pesquisa são analisadas de forma comparativa, fazendo referência a obras de artistas e arquitetos assim como textos críticos selecionados tratando da percepção espacial sob o prisma da teoria contemporânea na arte e na arquitetura. A partir desta temática, a pesquisa organiza-se mais especificamente em torno dos conceitos de presença (corpo), materialidade (a concretude daquilo que ocupa o espaço) e vazio que são discutidos com base nas intervenções a fim de ampliar a compreensão sobre as possibilidades de interação entre arte e arquitetura. / This study aims to investigate aspects of spatial perception and it's organized as a laboratory of artistic actions thought to create alterations on the configuration of the projected and built space - especially galleries, art studios and residential environments. In addition to that, the artistic actions act as propellers for the perceptual experience that occupies the border between the body and the world. The artistic interventions produced by me during the period of the research are here analyzed in a comparative manner, making reference to the works of artists and architects as well as texts that have been selected to address the issue of spatial perception through the lenses of contemporary art and architecture. From this theme the research arrives at the more specific concepts of presence, matter and void, which are discussed based on the interventions in order to create a deeper understanding regarding the possibilities of interaction between art and architecture.
