Die Rezeption der ottonischen Kunst im Leoneser Königreich des 11. Jahrhunderts

Kempf, Janet 25 July 2019 (has links)
The Church of San Isidoro in León has one of the most extensive and ambitious ecclesiastical treasures, which - based on a foundation context - has survived the turmoil of the centuries in Europe. Being a cultural heritage of the Christian Kingdom of Spain, the treasure is mentioned in countless articles. Its importance for the introduction and spread of the Romanesque style on the Iberian Peninsula and the associated Europeanization of the Spanish kingdoms is repeatedly emphasized. It is contrarily discussed in science from which sources the newly introduced stylistic devices drew. Both France and England, Byzantium and the Arab world are considered role models. In the 1920s and 1930s, Arthur Kingsley Porter and Manuel Gómez-Moreno first assumed that the visual origins were also to be found in Ottonian art. The aim of the present dissertation is to critically investigate the assumption, which was formulated around 100 years ago and has been repeatedly taken up, in-depth studies for the first time. According to the thesis, the Northern Spanish kings recited the Ottonian-early Salian rule presentation to manifest their own imperial claim to power on the Iberian Peninsula. Analogous to this, a new artistic style was introduced with the new iconographic forms.

Trockismus v České republice s důrazem na vývoj po roce 2000 / Trotskyism in the Czech Republic with Emphasis on Development since 2000

Štorkánová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
The submitted thesis deals with the issue of left-wing extremism, especially the development of Trotskyist groups in the territory of Czechoslovakia, later the Czech Republic between the years 1989 - 2014. In the first part of the thesis, the background of Trotskyism thought is introduced as an ideology which is the result of a long-standing conflict between Trotsky and Stalin that was primarily concerned with direction, leadership and the nature of the Soviet Union. The main topics of Trotskyism as the intellectual movement are defined on the base of the analysis of several major writings by L. D. Trotsky. The second part is devoted to the analysis of a number of Trotskyist organizations that are acting or have acted in the Czech environment. In total, four groups from the Czech environment can be identified as Trotskyist. These are the following entities: "Budoucnost" ("Socialist Alternative Future"), "Socialistická solidarita" ("Socialist Solidarity"), "Socialistická organizace pracujících" ("Socialist Organization of Working People"), and "Nová antikapitalistická levice/Levá perspektiva" ("New Anti- Capitalist Left/Left Perspective"). This thesis is an analysis of the development of these groups, of their requirements and program principles, and of the events which these groups participated in during...

Language Policy and Bilingual Education for Immigrant Students at Public Schools in Japan

Asakura, Naomi 21 September 2015 (has links)
This thesis discusses the current Japanese language (nihongo) education for immigrant students at public schools in Japan and provides recommendations through the study of language policy and the comparison of bilingual education in the United States. The current situation of a decreasing birth rate and increasing aging population in Japan has led to the acceptance of more foreign workers. Due to this change, language education in Japan has increasing development. The focus of chapter 1 is on the theories of language policy. This paper particularly focuses on the ideas of Wright (2004), Neustupný (2006), Spolsky (2004), and Cooper (1989), and discusses similarities and differences between them. By applying these theories to language policy in Japan, chapter 1 shows how language policy changed throughout Japanese history. Chapter 2 discusses the current environment surrounding immigrant students. It includes a description not only of the expanding population of foreign students, but also the history of Japanese language education and the laws related to it. This chapter also presents the present movement of language policy in Japan and how the movement affects Japanese language education for language minority students. Chapter 3 compares bilingual education in the United States to bilingual education in Japan, and makes three suggestions to improve Japanese language education at public schools in Japan, particularly addressing the classification of language levels for immigrant students, teaching styles, and the limitation of qualified bilingual teachers.

Cinema Novo et conscientisation / Cinema Novo e conscientização

Ficamos, Bertrand 22 November 2007 (has links)
