A Sociedade dos Cem Bibliófilos do Brasil (SCBB) produziu 23 títulos em edições bem acabadas artesanalmente, com tiragem limitada e ilustradas com gravuras originais de artistas nacionais renomados. A coleção da SCBB da BCE é formada pelos livros que pertenceram à quatro bibliófilos, ao todo são 37 exemplares descritos nesta pesquisa. O estudo dessa coleção parte do estudo dos aspectos materiais do livro a partir de uma perspectiva do colecionismo bibliográfico. A metodologia usada para o estudo da trajetória desses livros no Acervo de Obras raras da BCE parte das três fases apresentadas por Alberti (2005) para o estudo dos objetos das coleções: a primeira fase se refere à coleta e procedência; a segunda diz respeito à história do objeto dentro do acervo; a terceira contempla as exposições e as consultas do acervo pelo público. Este estudo também realça dois aspectos da coleção da BCE: as encadernações e as ilustrações, que conferem unicidade e valor artístico a esses exemplares. A SCBB se destaca como um dos grupos mais importantes que produziram edições luxuosas no Brasil. Além disso, esse grupo incentivou a participação ativa dos artistas na confecção dos livros e fomentou a produção de gravuras de teor artístico em âmbito nacional. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This dissertation studies the books edited by the Sociedade dos Cem Bibliófilos do Brasil(1943-1969), kept in the the Rare Books Sector, at Universidade de Brasília’s Central Library – BCE/UnB. The Sociedade dos Cem Bibliófilos do Brasil (SCBB) has published 23 titles, finely handicrafted, on limited edition, illustrated with original engravings by famous brazilian artists. BCE’s collection was gathered from the personal libraries of four deceased SCBB’s members. It is composed of 37 books, all of wich are described in this research. We will approache the collection from a bibliophile point of view. The methodology used to study the path of these books employs Alberti’s (2005) three phases for the study of objects: the first phase is related to the gathering of the objetcts and their origin; the second phase relates to the history of the object inside the institutions where it was kept; and the third addresses the issue of the object’s interaction with the public (exhibitions, consultations, etc). This study also highlights two other aspects of BCE’s collection: the bidings and illustrations, that bestow unique artistic value to these books. SCBB stands out as one of the most important groups that produced luxury editions in Brazil. This group also encouraged the active participation of artists in the production of the book and promoted artistic printing nationwide.

Nesse cenário, a literatura traduzida sempre teve forte presença, tendo precedido os autores brasileiros na formação da literatura infantil nacional. Atualmente, há dezenas de editoras que publicam traduções para crianças no Brasil, com centenas de títulos lançados a cada ano. Embora represente uma fração significativa do mercado editorial mundial, ainda existem queixas, como as do crítico literário Peter Hunt (2010), de que a literatura infantil não tem sido devidamente estudada. De fato, existe ainda um vasto terreno inexplorado, especialmente no que diz respeito à literatura para a primeira infância e os chamados livros ilustrados. Essas queixas, contudo, têm sido responsáveis por uma progressiva mudança de cenário, que no Brasil se iniciou na década de 1970, e a literatura infantil segue conquistando espaço na academia – inclusive no campo dos Estudos da Tradução. Após traçar um panorama histórico da literatura infantil traduzida no Brasil e fazermos uma reflexão acerca da relação da literatura infantil com o sistema literário brasileiro, a partir das contribuições teóricas de Itamar Even-Zohar (1990) e Gideon Toury (1998), realizamos uma cartografia das traduções que vêm sendo publicadas e adquiridas para as crianças brasileiras com base nos acervos do Programa Nacional Biblioteca da Escola (PNBE/MEC) de 2008, 2010, 2012 e 2014 e nos catálogos de três editoras: Brinque-Book (2013), Cosac Naify (2014) e Pequena Zahar (2014). A partir daí, delineamos um perfil das obras traduzidas e de seus tradutores e analisamos mais detalhadamente dois títulos a fim de apontar questões que são marcantes na tradução de livros ilustrados – em especial a relação entre os campos verbal e não-verbal – e na tradução para crianças – em especial a mediação e a oralidade do texto. Com base nos dados levantados e em sua observação, refletimos criticamente sobre a condição da tradução para crianças – reflexão que não é apenas literária, mas procura olhar para o livro sem ignorar sua condição de produto da indústria cultural. / Children’s literature – picturebooks in particular – has gained an important ground in the Brazilian publishing market, especially due to the school system which guarantees a regular and substantial purchase of books for children. In this context, translated literature has always been present, having preceded Brazilian authors in the emergence of our national children’s literature. Presently, there are dozens of publishers of translations for children in Brazil, with hundreds of new books published every year. Although children’s literature represents a significant share of the publishing market worldwide, there are still complaints such as those by literary critic Peter Hunt’s (2010) that it has not been properly studied. Indeed, there is a vast field to be explored, especially in what regards literature for early childhood and the so-called picturebooks. These complaints, however, have been responsible for a progressive change in this situation, which in Brazil has started in the 1970s. Children’s literature has kept on gaining room in academic circles – including the field of Translation Studies. After drawing a historical panorama of translated children’s literature in Brazil and making a reflection on the relation between children’s literature and the Brazilian literary system, based on the theoretical contributions by Itamar Even-Zohar (1990) and Gideon Toury (1998), we mapped the translations which have been recently published and purchased for Brazilian children based on the 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014 collections of the Programa Nacional Biblioteca da Escola (PNBE/MEC) and on the catalogs of three publishers: Brinque-Book (2013), Cosac Naify (2014) and Pequena Zahar (2014). Following that, we have outlined a profile of the translated works and their translators and analysed more closely two books in order to point out representative questions in the translation of picturebooks – chiefly the relations between verbal and non-verbal communication – and in translation for children – chiefly mediation and the orality of the text. Based on the collected data and on its observation, we have made a critical reflection on the condition of translation for children. This reflection is never purely literary, but it looks on to the book without ignoring its condition as a product of the cultural industry.

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 1999-12-22T00:00:00Z / The author aims basically at three main points while explaining the development of the Internet: explaining the stage of evolution reached by the Brazilian on-line bookstores towards the use of the Internet as a sales channel; making considerations over the on-line sales of books in Brazil and the factors that affect it both positively and negatively; and identifying the most important differences between the on-line consumer and the regular consumer as seen by the Brazilian bookstores. In order to accomplish that, the author developped three case studies with Brazilian on-line bookstores, which are the Livraria Cultura, Siciliano S.A. and Livraria e Papelaria Saraiva S.A. Before going over the three companies, it is given a brief retrospective on the main aspects that evolves the development of the Internet, such as its history, its main carachteristics, some basic data of the Internet, its safety and the overall internaut profile. At the end, some conc1usion is reached towards the future of the Internet in the enterprises that have been researched and also some themes are suggested as essential for future research. / O autor tem como objectivo basicamente em três pontos principais ao explicar o desenvolvimento da Internet: explicar o estágio da evolução alcançado pelas livrarias brasileiras on-line para o uso da Internet como canal de vendas; fazendo considerações sobre a linha que as vendas de livros no Brasil e os fatores que afetam tanto positiva como negativamente; e identificar as diferenças mais importantes entre o consumidor on-line e consumidor regular como visto pelas livrarias brasileiras. A fim de conseguir isso, o autor desenvolveu três estudos de caso com as livrarias on-line , que são a Livraria Cultura, Siciliano S.A. e da Livraria e Papelaria Saraiva S.A. Antes de ir ao longo das três empresas, é dada uma breve retrospectiva sobre os principais aspectos que evolui o desenvolvimento da Internet, tais como a sua história, a sua principal características, alguns dados básicos da Internet, a sua segurança e o perfil geral internauta. No final, algumas conclusão são alcançada para o futuro da Internet nas empresas que foram pesquisadas ​​e também alguns temas são sugeridos como essencial para uma futura pesquisa.

Considera-se que a complexidade do processo educativo e as condições de trabalho exigem que o professor disponha de recursos e instrumentos que o auxiliem na tarefa de ensinar. Nesse sentido, o livro didático pode materializar a organização dos conteúdos curriculares em propostas para auxiliar os professores na prática pedagógica. Além disso, parte-se do princípio de que é fundamental que a organização curricular e a construção desse tipo de material possa acontecer de modo colaborativo entre o meio acadêmico e os professores que atuam nas escolas, valorizando suas experiências e conhecimentos. O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi elaborar e analisar o processo de construção coletiva de um livro didático de voleibol, apresentando uma proposta de organização curricular desse conteúdo do 6º ao 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental, a partir do conhecimento dos professores e da produção acadêmica da área da Educação Física. Buscou-se ainda implementar e avaliar os usos do material do 6º ano na prática pedagógica de uma das professoras participantes da pesquisa. Foi utilizada como metodologia a pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, com referencial teórico na pesquisa-ação, enfoque metodológico que permitiu a realização de encontros com seis professores de Educação Física que atuam em escolas e outras áreas com o ensino do voleibol. Ao término dos encontros, as aulas elaboradas para o 6º ano foram aplicadas por uma das professoras do grupo e observadas pela pesquisadora. Os resultados dos encontros e da aplicação das aulas indicaram que as principais dificuldades dos professores relacionaram-se às condições de trabalho e formação inicial e continuada. As condições de trabalho implicam na... / The curricular organization and textbooks are topics that haven’t been much addressed in Academic Physical Education researches. It has been considerate the complexity of the educational process and the working conditions which require the teachers have the resources and tools to assist them in the task of teaching. Beyond that, the textbook can materialize the organization of the curricular content in proposals to help teachers on the pedagogical practice. Moreover, it starts from the principle that is essential that the curricular organization and the construction of this kind of material can happen with the cooperation between the academic entourage and teachers who work in the schools, highlighting their knowledge and experiences. The goal of this research was to develop and analyze the process of a collective construction of a volleyball textbook, presenting a proposal of a curricular organization of this content from 6th to 9th grade at Elementary School, from the knowledge of teachers and academic production in Physical Education area. We have also searched implement and evaluate the usage of the 6th grade material at the pedagogical practice in a teacher which was taking part in the research. The methodology used was the qualitative research, with the theoretical reference in the action research, the methodological approach allowed to make meetings with six Physical Education teachers who work in schools and other areas where volleyball is taught. At the end of the meetings, the classes prepared for the 6th grade were applied for one of the teachers from the group and observed by the researcher. Dissertação apresentada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, da Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense - UNESC, como requisito para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Educação. / O presente trabalho descreve o estudo realizado na coleção didática Português: Linguagens, de Cereja e Magalhães (2013), que objetivou analisar as atividades de leitura propostas na coleção mencionada com vistas a identificar as que guardam em suas proposições possibilidades emancipadoras (FREIRE, 1977; 1980; 2005; 2008). Por esse objetivo, o estudo realizado caracteriza-se como pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho qualitativo. A análise dos volumes que compõem a coleção recaiu sobre as atividades de interpretação de texto com base na tipologia de questões sistematizadas por Marcuschi (2008) a partir da pesquisa que realizou em livros didáticos de Língua Portuguesa (LDLP) na década de 1990. Tal análise orientou-se teoricamente nas concepções de linguagem estruturalista, discursiva e interacionista. Essas perspectivas são discutidas por autores como: Saussure (2004), Orlandi (2007), Leffa (1996), Solé (1998), Lajolo (1982), entre outros. O processo analítico permitiu apreender que, na coleção estudada, as questões propostas para interpretação, em sua maioria, visam possibilitar ao aluno uma compreensão para além do funcionamento estrutural e formal da língua, ou seja, evidenciamos uma preocupação dos autores em mobilizar o aluno/leitor para uma prática de leitura mais próxima da concepção interacionista, possibilitando, de certa forma, o seu desenvolvimento como aluno leitor crítico e emancipado. Vale dizer que os resultados obtidos se diferenciam dos apresentados em Marcuschi (2008), pois nos livros analisados pelo autor, as questões tidas como de teor reprodutivo tiveram maior destaque.

(2009), a primeira coleção destinada ao EF II para o ensino da Língua Espanhola, juntamente com a Saludos (2009). As duas edições foram aprovadas pelo primeiro exame do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) de Língua Estrangeira (LE), ocorrido em 2011, o qual avaliou várias coleções de língua inglesa e espanhola para distribuição nas redes públicas de ensino. A coleção Español ¡Entérate! foi eleita em nosso estudo, por ter sido adotada nas escolas públicas e Centro de Estudos de Línguas (CEL) do estado de São Paulo. Em nossa análise utilizamos como abordagem teórico-metodológica os conceitos de alteridade e dialogia, oriundos do Círculo de Bakhtin. Por meio deles, analisamos se a forma de edição dos textos literários, nos quatro livros dessa coleção didática, preserva a estrutura do discurso literário e se os exercícios formulados a partir de tais textos privilegiam também esta característica, bem como se a configuração deles permite uma relação de diálogo entre o aluno e os textos. Essas indagações foram feitas por acreditarmos que o dialogismo e a alteridade, presentes no discurso literário, são aspectos fundamentais para o enriquecimento cultural do discente que está aprendendo uma nova língua. Dessa forma, o processo histórico sobre a constituição de programas educacionais, como o PNLD, sobre a elaboração de diretrizes, como aquelas dos Parâmetros Curriculare... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This thesis was carried out to analyze how the literary texts were explored in the didactic collection Español ¡Entérate! (2009), the first collection used in Middle School for the teaching of Spanish, together with the collection Saludos (2009). The two collections was approved by the first exam of the Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) of Spanish, which took place in 2011, which evaluated several collections of English and Spanish languages for distribution in public schools. The collection Español ¡Entérate! was chosen in our study for it was adopted in the public schools and language studies centers (Centro de Estudos de Línguas, CEL) of the state of São Paulo. The methodological approach are the concepts of alterity and dialogism proposed by the Bakhtin Circle. By means of them we analyze whether the form of editing the literary texts in all the four books of this didactic collection preserves the structure of the literary discourse, and if the worksheets proposed for such texts also privileges this characteristic, as well, if the configuration of these exercises allows a dialogue between the student and the texts. These questions were asked because we believe that the concepts of dialogism and alterity present in the literary discourse are fundamental for the student to broaden his horizons while learning a new language. The historical process on the constitution of educational programs, such as those PNLD, the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN's) and the Curriculum of the state of São Paulo, as well as the attempt to insert the teaching of Spanish language in this curriculum were factors that we incorporate in this study, so that, from the perspective of the macro mechanisms of the education area, we could understand the unfolding of the micro mechanisms, such as the configuration of the textbook (LD), which is in some way a product... Orientador: Daniel Soares da Costa / Banca: Juliana Bertucci Barbosa / Banca: Niguelme Cardoso Arruda / Resumo: Esta dissertação apresenta uma reflexão sobre a presença dos gêneros discursivos no ensino de língua materna, assunto que baseia os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs) do Ensino Fundamental de Língua Portuguesa, publicados em 1998. De acordo com os PCNs, o principal objetivo do ensino de Língua Portuguesa é o desenvolvimento da competência discursiva dos alunos, ou seja, desenvolver nos alunos a capacidade de escolher o gênero adequado a diferentes situações comunicativas. Dolz e Schneuwly (2004) acreditam que o princípio do trabalho escolar deve ser os gêneros, pois, além de colaborarem para o desenvolvimento da linguagem dos alunos, também podem ser usados como instrumentos de trabalho do professor em sala de aula. Nesta pesquisa, objetivamos analisar as propostas de atividades com o gênero tira em duas diferentes coleções de Livros Didáticos de Língua Portuguesa (LDLP) do Ensino Fundamental II, adotadas em instituições públicas Estaduais de São Paulo. Escolhemos o gênero tira por acreditarmos que se trata de um gênero com características capazes de conduzir os alunos a uma formação crítica e cidadã. Além disso, acreditamos que os aspectos multimodais desse gênero também podem contribuir para o processo de compreensão textual, pois, em determinadas situações comunicativas e com determinado objetivo, os aspectos não-verbais são tão importantes quanto a fala e a escrita. Não podemos considerá-lo como um gênero de fácil interpretação por sua presença maciça em contextos sociais diversos e sua associação de linguagem verbal com imagens, afinal, é justamente esse conjunto de linguagem verbal e não-verbal que solicita estratégias diversificadas para ler, compreender e aprender. Apoiados em Dionísio (2005, 2008), Marcuschi (2010), Ramos... / Abstract: This dissertation presents a reflection about presence of genres in teaching mother tongue; subject based in the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs) of Fundamental Education of Portuguese Language, published in 1998. According to these NCPs, the main objective of Portuguese language teaching is the development of discursive competence of the students, that is develop in students the ability to choose the appropriate genre to different communicative situations. Dolz and Schneuwly (2004) believe that the principle of school work must be the genre, because in addition to collaborate for the development of students' language, also can be used as a teacher's working tools in the classroom. In this research we aimed to analyze the proposed activities with the genre strip on two different collections of Textbook of Portuguese Language (LDLP) of Fundamental Education II, adopted in State public institutions in the state of São Paulo. We chose the genre strip because we believe that it is a genre with characteristics able to conduct the students for a critical formation and citizen. Furthermore, we believe that the multimodal aspects of this genre may also contribute to the process of textual comprehension because, in certain communicative situations and with certain objective, non-verbal aspects are as important as speech and writing. We cannot consider it as a easy to interpret genre by its massive presence in diverse social contexts and their association with verbal language images, after all, is rightly this set of language verbal and non-verbal that requests diversified strategies to read, understand and learn.
