Orientador: Eliana Maria de Melo Souza / Banca: Lucila Scavone / Banca: Maria Lygia Quartim de Moraes / Resumo: A intenção desta dissertação de mestrado é fazer um estudo sobre a maneira pela qual a memória sobre a ditadura militar, especialmente a resistência política feminina, é reconstruída no filme Que bom te ver viva, dirigido por Lúcia Murat e lançado em 1989. Pautando-se por uma perspectiva que se baseia no cruzamento dos estudos de memória com o pensamento feminista, procura-se compreender o filme como manifestação da memória, verificando de que modo os paradoxos e tensões presentes articulam-se na narração da sobrevivência após um período traumático. Utiliza-se como contraponto nas disputas em torno do passado o estudo de algumas sequências do filme O que é isso, Companheiro?, dirigido por Bruno Barreto e lançado em 1997. Tem-se como apoio os debates referentes à representação de gênero no cinema para observar o modo pelo qual as convenções de feminilidade e masculinidade são (re)construídas. Diante disso, observou-se, por um lado, a ênfase nas questões subjetivas que foram silenciadas nos anos de militância no filme de Lúcia Murat; e, por outro, os limites de se manifestar a memória de um período a partir de fórmulas tradicionais de linguagem cinematográfica, como se observa no filme de Bruno Barreto. Por fim, faz-se uma discussão a respeito da necessidade de resgatar as utopias passadas na continuidade da luta pelo não esquecimento. / Abstract: The intention of this thesis is to understand how the memory of the military dictatorship, especially women's political strength, is reconstructed in the movie Que bom te ver viva, directed by Lucia Murat and released in 1989. Using a perspective that pass trough the memory studies and feminist thought, this work try to understand the film as a memory manifestation, checking how the paradoxes and tensions present are articulated in the narrative of survival after a traumatic period. Some sequences of the movie O que é isso, Companheiro?, directed by Bruno Barreto and released in 1997, are studied to show the memories disputes. It has to support the discussions concerning the gender representation in the cinema to watch the way that femininity and masculinity conventions are (re)built. Therefore, there was, first, the focus on subjective questions that were silenced in the militancy years in the Murat's film, and, secondly, the limits to express the memory of a period from traditional formulas film language, as shown in the Barreto's film. Finally, it is a discussion about the necessity to rescue the past utopias in the continuing struggle for not forgetting. / Mestre

A memória é um elemento fundamental da produção simbólica de uma cidade. Obeliscos, monumentos, registros fotográficos, documentos etc. são fontes de interpretações das formas-conteúdos cristalizados no processo de sua formação. Os significados construídos pelas memórias coletivas dialogam com/ou se impõem à História que explica o passado, podendo serem fontes de manipulações e distorções dos interesses e ações que engendraram o território, no pretérito. A memória criada traduz embates de grupos e classes sociais em disputa pelo domínio e controle do território na cidade e em suas relações com espaços próximos e distantes. Problematizaremos, nessa pesquisa, a "memória oficial" produzida a respeito da gênese, formação e constituição de Francisco Beltrão-PR, entre os anos 1940-70. Na "memória oficial" sua fundação fora fruto da ação do Estado (Cango/Getsop), mediante uma ocupação democrática e igualitária no acesso à terra e às condições de trabalho/produção. À guisa do Estado, os pioneiros gaúchos e catarinenses teriam transformado a região Sudoeste paranaense de terra "desabitada" em território de progresso, cujo exemplo mais privilegiado seria a construção da "próspera" cidade de Francisco Betrão. Eles teriam se comportado como "heróis" guiados pelo interesse da colonização e construção de um território voltado ao bem comum... The memory is a fundamental element of the symbolic production of a city. Obelisks, monuments, photographic registers, documents etc, are interpretation sources of form-content crystallized in the dynamic of its constitution. The meanings built by the collective memories dialogue with/or they impose themselves to History that explains the past. Sometimes they are sources of manipulations and distortions of the interest and actions which since old times have engendered the territory. The created memory results in groups conflicts and social classes dispute for the dominium and control of the territory in the city on its relations with far and near areas. On this survey will be discussed the "official memory "produced on the genesis, formation and constitution of Francisco Beltrão state of Parana, between the 40s and 70s. On the "official memory" its foundation has been a result of State action (Cango/Getsop), through a democratic and equalitarian occupation for the land access and to the conditions of work and production. With the state approval, the gauchos and catarinenses pioneers would have transformed the Southwest region of Parana State from an "inhabited" land into a progress territory, which the most privileged example would be the building of the "prosper" city of Francisco Beltrão. Se, por um lado, este tipo de trabalho valoriza o idoso como detentor de experiência e de sabedoria adquirida com o tempo, por outro lado, o reafirma como aquele para o qual lhe resta pouco tempo de vida e, por isso, mais vale retomar e narrar o passado do que planejar o futuro. A presente pesquisa pretendeu enfraquecer o estereótipo do idoso atado ao passado ao investigar possibilidades de prospecção resultantes do encontro do idoso com o ato fotográfico. Como pano de fundo teórico-metodológico nos orientamos pela vertente do Construcionismo Social, tomado no campo da Psicologia, entendendo, portanto, que a realidade não está dada a priori como objetividade absoluta, mas é construída na interação humana, como processo e se constitui fundamentalmente como produção de sentido. Pautado nessa base epistemológica, o objetivo da pesquisa foi investigar os sentidos produzidos pelo ato fotográfico na relação do idoso com o tempo e com a memória, dando maior ênfase às possibilidades da fotografia enquanto prospecção do futuro. Para tanto, foram realizadas oficinas de fotografia com dois grupos de idosos da Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Os participantes fotografaram orientados pelas seguintes perguntas: “O que é importante na vida, hoje?”; “Que imagem ou cena você tomaria agora para representar algo que ainda não aconteceu em sua vida, mas que você pretende que aconteça no futuro?”. Os grupos produziram imagens relacionadas à atividade, família e à amizade, dentre outras. Quanto ao tempo, percebemos que... / When working with seniors and their photographs we tend to value the youth reminiscences and photographs that lead them to a return to the past. If, on the one hand, this type of work values the elders as the ones who had acquired experience and wisdom in time, on the other hand, it confirms them as the person who remains little time and hence, so it is better return and narrate the past than plan for the future. The present study sought to undermine the stereotype of the elderly tied to the past to investigate the possibilities for exploration of the elderly meeting with the photographic act. As theoretical and methodological background we orient ourselves by the aspects of the social constructionism, taken in the field of psychology, understanding, therefore, that reality is not given a priori as absolute objectivity, but is built on human interaction as a process and build itself fundamentally as production of meaning. Lined in this epistemological base, the research objective was to investigate the meanings produced by the photographic act in respect of the elderly in time and memory, placing greater emphasis on photography while exploring the possibilities of the future. Esta comunidade revela, nas suas manifestações físicas, materiais e imaterias, muitos elementos que descrevem a sua história. Ela apresenta algumas peculiaridades em relação às demais comunidades rurais da região, passíveis de perceber quando analisamos as características físicas dos seus sujeitos, as narrativas sobre sua ancestralidade, as suas manifestações culturais do grupo, que apontam a reminiscência quilombola. Nosso estudo reconstrói a história de Quenta Sol através dessa memória; desvelando sua origem; situando-a no contexto geral, contemporâneo; conferindo a importância da sua cultura, da sua oralidade e da sua memória na afirmação e no fortalecimento do grupo. Examinamos, com especial atenção, as contribuições da oralidade e da memória dos moradores anciãos, através dos seus relatos diretos ou dos relatos dos seus descendentes. Nossas ferramentas fundamentais, para a análise crítica desse material e para a construção deste campo são extraídas da História Oral. A interpretação que fazemos das informações contidas nas fontes, seguindo a lógica da História Oral, considera a importância das relações mantidas nesta comunidade, a vivência das suas tradições e o uso da oralidade, elementos que são cruciais para manter viva a luta e a esperança por liberdade, valores e costumes que foram importantes para seus antepassados. A vitalidade da sua memória nas reconstruções orais da sua história permite que este trabalho revele os traços genuínos da história desta comunidade / Abstract: This dissertation brings the reconstruction of the history of Quenta Sol, a black community countrified located in the county of Tremedal, situated in backwoods of Bahia.This community shows, in their physical manifestations, materials and imaterias, many elements which describe their history It presents some peculiarities in relation to other rural communities of the region, liable to understand when we analyze the physical characteristics of their subject, the narratives about their ancestry, their cultural events of the group, which indicate the reminiscence quilombola. Our study reconstructs the history of Quenta Sol through this memory; uncovering its origin; placing-in general context, contemporary; giving the importance of their culture, its orality and his memory in affirming and the strengthening of the group. Look over, with particular attention, the contributions of orality and of the memory of inhabitants elders, through their reports direct or from the reports of their descendants. Our fundamental tools, for critical analysis of the equipment and for the construction of this field are extracted from the Oral History. The interpretation that we of the information contained in the sources, following the logic of Oral History, considers the importance of relations maintained this community, the experience of their traditions and the use of oral language, elements which are crucial to keep alive the struggle and hope for freedom, values and practices which were important for their ancestors. Tais transformações interferem diretamente na vida cotidiana da população, especialmente dos moradores das áreas rurais, configurando novas dinâmicas culturais. Neste sentido, o presente estudo busca investigar, por meio da história oral e da imagem, como as memórias e territorialidades dos moradores do bairro rural Boa Vista são reconstruídas mediante esse contexto de mudanças / Abstract: The municipality of Bragança Paulista/SP is located in a regional context marked by significant social and environmental changes that result from economic periods characterized by successive stages of growth and stagnation, including: the frustrated expectations of wealth through gold, the ephemeral dynamics of coffee , the late and current industrialization that is opposed to the regional environmental profile, the impacts caused by the Highways Fernão Dias and Dom Pedro I, the environmental problems caused by the construction of the Cantareira Reservoir Water System , the creation, and still unregulated protected areas and unplanned tourism. These changes directly affect the daily life of the population, especially the residents of rural areas, setting up new cultural dynamics. Neste sentido, realizamos uma análise fílmica de Lamarca (1994) e O que é isso companheiro? (1997) procurando refletir sobre as opções realizadas pelos diretores Sérgio Rezende e Bruno Barreto em relação ao tema. Essa análise nos ajuda a enxergar em que sentido esses filmes inserem-se na disputa pela memória, sobre o período ditatorial brasileiro que se inicia nos anos 1960, notadamente o confronto entre as forças armadas e os focos de guerrilha dos anos 60 e 70 do século passado. Nesta problematização realizada, verificamos a repercussão desses filmes em três jornais da grande imprensa: O Estado de S. Paulo, Jornal do Brasil e Folha de S. Paulo. / Abstract: The cinema, responsible for spreading the visions of the world in the 20th century, is a valuable source for the historian s reflection. In one sense, we carried out a film analysis of Lamarca (1994) and O que é isso companheiro? (1997) trying to think about the options that the directors Sérgio Rezende and Bruno Barreto have chosen regarding the subject. This analysis helps us see in which sense these films get into the argument over the memory about the period of the Brazilian dictatorship of the sixties, specially the confrontation between the army and the guerrilla of the sixties and seventies of the late century. As a result of this analysis, we have verified the repercussion of these films in three newspapers of the great press: O Estado de S. Paulo, Jornal do Brasil and Folha de S. Paulo. / Doutor

Orientador: Célia Reis Camargo / Banca: Marly Rodrigues / Banca: Áureo Busetto / Resumo: A presente dissertação de mestrado tem por objeto de estudo as propostas de tombamento de bens culturais apresentadas por agentes políticos e sociais dos municípios do oeste paulista ao CONDEPHAAT (Conselho de Defesa do Patrimônio Histórico, Artístico, Arqueológico e Turístico), órgão que institui e preserva o patrimônio paulista. No trabalho foram analisados os guichês e processos de tombamento onde foi abordado o ideário que esteve presente nas discussões e decisões do CONDEPHAAT, nas manifestações dos envolvidos e nas iniciativas das sociedades locais ao solicitar o tombamento, argumentando sobre seu valor. Foi possível identificar os embates pela preservação do patrimônio entre os diversos agentes do processo, com ênfase para os técnicos e conselheiros do CONDEPHAAT. A região oeste de São Paulo foi à última a ser ocupada e integrada ao restante do estado, sendo formada por municípios que se constituíram nas primeiras décadas do século XX sob o signo da modernidade e do progresso e esses conceitos acabam por conflitar com a noção de história enquanto visão de passado e pode-se considerar que a história presente não é reconhecida como objeto de preservação, nem pelo poder público nem pela sociedade local. / Abstract: The present master's degree dissertation has for study object the protection proposals of cultural goods presented by political and social agents of the municipal districts in western São Paulo State to Condephaat (Conselho de Defesa do Patrimônio Histórico, Artístico, Arqueológico e Turístico), organ that institutes and preserves the heritage from São Paulo. In the work, windows and protection processes were analyzed where was approached the ideary that was present in the discussions and decisions of Condephaat, in the manifestations of those involved and in the initiatives of the local societies when requesting the protection, arguing on in value. It was possible to identify the resistences for the preservation of the heritage among the several agents of the process, with emphasis for the technicians and counselors of Condephaat. The western region of São Paulo was the last to be occupied and integrated into the rest of the state, being formed by municipal districts that were constituted in the first few decades of the XX century under the sign of the modernity and of the progress and those concepts conflict with the history notion while past vision and it can be considered that the present history is not recognized as preservation object, neither by the public power nor by the local society. / Mestre

Orientador: Aparecida de Moraes Silva / Banca: Raul Borges Guimarães / Banca: Julio César Suzuki / Resumo: A década de 1990 aponta para o alargamento do fluxo migratório de nordestinos para o trabalho agrícola (fundamentalmente para a atividade do corte da cana de açúcar) na região administrativa de Ribeirão Preto. Ademais, tais trabalhadores têm servido de mão-de-obra em atividades de baixa qualificação e rendimentos em diversas regiões, em diferentes períodos e ciclos econômicos, desde a década de 1920. Tais fatos nos convidam a compreender o processo de territorialização subjacente ao processo migratório de nordestinos, no sentido de observar os níveis de apropriação possíveis, tanto no interior da cidade como no movimento entre o lugar de origem e de destino. Partimos, assim, do método regressivo-progressivo de Lefebvre, buscando, depois de observada a sincronia do tempo e espaço presentes, investigar outros tempos e espaços aos quais este de onde partimos (Ibaté) relaciona-se, e ainda localizar o sujeito-objeto desta pesquisa (o trabalhador rural nordestino) no contexto desvendado. A partir de então, percorremos o trajeto mesmo da migração, passando pela análise do momento da partida, analisando as trajetórias de alguns migrantes e, por fim, compreendendo os territórios constituídos entre cá e lá. Nesse sentido, num primeiro momento, apreendemos o papel das relações sociais e das estruturas no processo de territorialização no interior da cidade, e, num segundo momento, da circulação (de pessoas, objetos e sentimentos) entre o lugar de origem e de destino na constituição dos "territórios migratórios"...(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The decade of 1990 appears for the enlargement of the migratory flow of Northeasterners for the agricultural work (fundamentally for the activity of the cut of the cane of sugar) in the administrative area of Ribeirão Preto. Besides, such workers have been serving as labor in activities of low qualification and incomes in several areas, in different periods and economical cycles, since the decade of 1920. Such facts invite us to understand the process of underlying territorialization to the migratory process of Northeasterners, in the sense of observing the possible appropriation levels, so much inside the city as in the movement among the origin place and of destiny. We left, like this, of the regressive-progressive method of Lefebvre, looking for, after having observed the synchrony of the time and space presents, to investigate other times and spaces to the which this from where left (Ibaté) associates, and still to locate the subject-object of this research (the worker rural Northeasterner) in the unmasked context. Starting from then, we traveled the same itinerary of the migration, going by the analysis of the moment of the departure, analyzing the paths of some migrants and, finally, understanding the territories constituted among here and there. Orientador: José Manoel Balthazar / Banca: Bento Rodrigues de Pontes Junior / Banca: Vicente Lopes Júnior / Resumo: Este trabalho consiste de três partes, na primeira fez - se o estudo da dinâmica de um oscilador com um grau de liberdade, em que uma massa é conectada a um elemento com memória de forma e um amortecedor, onde o sistema é excitado harmonicamente (sistema ideal). Uma solução analítica para o movimento estacionário do sistema é obtida através da análise de técnicas de perturbações, onde foi utilizado o método das múltiplas escalas. Por intermédio desta solução observa - se fenômenos não lineares através das curvas de resposta em freqüência. Além disso, obtém - se condições de estabilidade para o sistema e condições para a existência de bifurcação do tipo sela - nó. Na segunda parte apresenta - se o estudo do comportamento dinâmico não linear de um oscilador com memória de forma, excitado por uma fonte não ideal - um motor elétrico de corrente contínua, desbalanceado e com potência limitada. Toma - se, um problema cujo modelo matemático representa um sistema simplificado (com característica do motor no regime estacionário). Adota - se a formulação Lagrangeana para gerar as equações de movimento. Os resultados são obtidos através de integrações numéricas das equações de movimento sendo possíveis obter oscilações regulares e irregulares (caóticos), os quais dependem da escolha dos parâmetros do sistema. A solução analítica é obtida utilizando - se o método da média, onde é possível observar fenômenos intrínsecos a sistemas não ideais tais como dependência da freqüência de excitação com relação à amplitude de oscilação da coordenada de movimento do sistema (Efeito Sommerfeld). A terceira parte é dedicada à aplicação de uma técnica de controle linear ótimo para a supressão do movimento caótico tanto do sistema ideal quanto do sistema não ideal, via simulações numéricas. / Abstract: This work concerns of three parts, in the first we will make the study of the dynamical of a single - degree of freedom oscillator, which consist of a mass connected to a shape memory element and a dashpot, where the system harmonically excited (ideal source). An analytical solution for the system stationary oscillations is obtained by perturbations method, where was used the method of multiple scales. Due to this solution one can observe nonlinear phenomena trough of frequency - response curves. Besides, conditions for the system stability and the existence of saddle - node bifurcations are also obtained. In the second part show the computational and analytical study of the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the SMA oscillator, excited by a non ideal source - an unbalanced direct current electric motor of limited power. A problem whose mathematical model represents a simplified system (the characteristic of the motor in stationary state). It adopts the Lagrange formularization to deducing the equations of motion. Regular and irregular (chaotic) behaviors depend of the physical parameters and can be observed when a numerical integration is performed. The analytical solution is obtained using the averaging method, where due to this solution on can observe typical non-ideal phenomena like the amplitude motion dependency to the frequency of the excitation (Sommerfeld effect). The third part is dedicated to the application and performance of the linear feedback control for the suppressing of the chaotic motion of an ideal and non ideal system, theses systems are numerical studied. / Mestre

Procura-se compreender, a partir das formulações teóricas do Círculo de Bakhtin, como os conceitos de dialogia, gênero, enunciado, cronótopo são mobilizados nas políticas de preservação analisadas, numa tentativa de reatualizar uma memória. Para tanto, analisam-se documentos oficiais materializados em um dossiê, em Leis e Projetos de Leis (a Lei 3.999, de 05/12/78; o Programa de Preservação do Centro Histórico de São Luís - PPRCH e seus Subprogramas de fins, a Lei 5.082, de 1990 e a Lei Municipal 79, de 1993) e documentos e não oficiais, tais como matérias jornalísticas, entre artigos de opinião, notícias e entrevistas, que focalizavam o processo de patrimonialização da cidade, no ano de 1997. Sustentando a grade de análise encontram-se alguns questionamentos: "Quem fala?", "Para quem é endereçado o que este alguém fala?", "Qual a sua finalidade?", "Que formas assumem esse discurso?", "Que efeitos produzem? Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa busca, em diferentes lugares discursivos, verificar como as políticas de preservação operam como elementos de mediação de uma memória referente a um local e a um tempo que, diante da impossibilidade de ser recuperado, é recriado no presente. Tomam-se assim vários discursos, formulados por distintos sujeitos, a partir de mecanismos discursivos, manobras linguísticas, enunciativas e textuais. A pesquisa ora apresentada está delineada em quatro capítulos e norteia-se pelos pressupostos teóricos tecidos a partir de estudos bakhtinianos (BAKHTIN, 1997; 2002; 2003; 2006; 2008), assim como de estudos sobre história e memória (LE GOFF, 1994; BURKE, 2000; RICOEUR, 2007; NORA, 1981; HALBWACHS, 2004), espaço, cidade (ROLNIK, 1992; CALVINO, 1999; LEITE, 2004; MUMFORD, 1986), sobre a mudança no conceito de patrimônio... It seeks to understand, from the theoretical formulations of the Bakhtin Circle, as the concepts of dialogism, genre, statement, chronotope are mobilized in the preservation policies analyzed in an attempt to reconstitute a memory. To this end, we analyze the official documents materialized in a dossier, in laws and draft laws (Law 3999 of 05/12/78, the Program for the Preservation of the Historic Center of St. Louis - PPRCH of subprograms and their purposes, Law 5082, 1990 and the Municipal Law 79 of 1993), and unofficial documents, such as newspaper articles, including articles of opinion, news and interviews, which focused on the process the heritage of the city in 1997. Supporting this analysis some questions are posed: "Who speaks?", "To whom is addressed what someone speaks?", "What is its purpose?", "What form does this speech take?", "What effects does it produce? In that sense, this research aims at different discursive places, checks out how the preservation policies operate as elements of a mediation concerning a memory that refers to a location and a time that, given the impossibility of being recovered, is recreated in the present. Many speeches are taken up, made by different subjects, from discursive mechanisms, maneuvers linguistic, and textual enunciation. The research presented here is outlined in four sections guided by theoretical assumptions made from Bakhtin studies (BAKHTIN, 1997;2002;2003;2006;2008), as well as studies of history and memory (LE GOFF, 1994; BURKE, 2000; RICOEUR, 2007; NORA, 1981; HALBWACHS, 2004), space, city ROLNIK, 1992; CALVINO, 1999; LEITE, 2004; MUMFORD, 1986), on changes in the concept of heritage (CHOAY, 2001; PELEGRINI, 2006; ABREU, 2003; GONÇALVES, 2002).
