In this context the use of Remote Sensing becomes more useful in teaching, and the increasing application of Remote Sensing in Geography textbooks can attest this statement. This dissertation aimed to test, develop and implement educational resources to contribute to the school use of Remote Sensing in Elementary Education II (6th to 9 th year) and in the 1st year of High School. Therefore, two articles were prepared: i) Educational Potential of Remote Sensing as a teaching resource in Elementary Education II; ii) The insertion of new technologies in education: the Remote Sensing in the 1st year of High School. The research was conducted by analyzing the use of technologies for Basic Education setting off from theoretical foundations on the teaching of Geography, Cartography and Remote Sensing. As a conclusion of the research it was observed that activities involving teaching resources with Remote Sensing have great interdisciplinary potential, collaborating in teaching and learning, arousing interest and sharpening the students' creativity. Thus, it is expected to expand the look of basic education teachers for the increasing possibility of using Remote Sensing in their classes. That this study is useful not only for the five schools in the Metropolitan Region of Feira de Santana inserted in the search, but that this experience can be widespread and extended to all the regional school system. / A inser??o de novas tecnologias na educa??o surge como uma estrat?gia de ensino que se faz necess?ria em uma sociedade cada vez mais tecnol?gica e que se comunica de forma mais veloz. Neste contexto o uso do Sensoriamento Remoto torna-se mais ?til no ensino, podendo constatar essa afirma??o atrav?s da observa??o de uma crescente aplica??o do Sensoriamento Remoto nos livros did?ticos de Geografia. O objetivo da disserta??o foi testar, elaborar e aplicar recursos did?ticos para contribuir com o uso escolar do Sensoriamento Remoto no Ensino Fundamental II (6? ao 9? ano) e no 1? ano do Ensino M?dio. Para tanto foram elaborados dois artigos: i) Potencial Pedag?gico do Sensoriamento Remoto como recurso did?tico no Ensino Fundamental II; ii) A inser??o das novas tecnologias na educa??o: o Sensoriamento Remoto no 1?ano do Ensino M?dio. This study explores employees' desire to embrace both a legacy operating system and a new workflow engine utilized in the workplace. The goal is to better understand the partnership and relationship the users build with the technologies and how that impacts usage behavior. The research is centered on a mixed-method case study using survey and episodic interview techniques of data collection. Models and methodologies providing the foundation for this study include Venkatesh and Davis's technology acceptance model 2 (TAM 2) and Venkatesh, Morris, Davis, and Davis' unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model, coupled loosely with concepts from Brooks and Atkinson's StructurANTion Theory. A new, adapted model is created to capture and understand the anthropomorphic characteristics users apply to the technology. This study yields important information for the future theoretical frameworks as elements such as trust and control, and descriptive variables like age and tenure have not factored into existing theoretical frameworks and models. Users can often anthropomorphize technology, viewing it as part of the social team to help improve their work. Through this lens, users expect information systems to be controllable and trustworthy to respond to their needs both alone and within the function of the team.

The primary objective of submitted study is the construction of SCIENCE CENTER in České Budějovice. The building is conceived as an informal education center of a regional nature, which focuses on popularization of science and new technologies. Emphasis is placed on interactive concept of the exposition and the possibility to test newly acquired knowledge. Reduction of energy use and service staff size by means of high-level automatization of operational processes management are other important factors of buildings design. The resulting shape of the object follows the mass nature and geometry of its immediate surroundings.

Le droit de l’OHADA face au commerce électronique est une réflexion épistémologique sur les questions juridiques que posent les transactions électroniques au sein des pays de l’Organisation pour l’Harmonisation en Afrique du Droit des Affaires (OHADA). Plus précisément, cette réflexion est une prospective sur l’encadrement juridique du commerce électronique par l’OHADA à partir des expériences menées notamment en Amérique du Nord (Canada-Québec) et en Europe. Les nouvelles technologies de l’information posent en Afrique comme elles l’ont fait ailleurs des défis au droit. Plusieurs initiatives régionales et nationales ont vu le jour au cours des dernières années pour relever ces défis. Seulement, le caractère hétérogène des législations mises en place est à même d’altérer la sécurité juridique régionale tant recherchée par l’organisation. Prenant appui sur la théorie de la circulation des modèles juridiques, cette thèse propose une véritable harmonisation dans le cadre de l’OHADA. Harmonisation qui veillera à prendre en compte les « spécificités africaines » tout en faisant de la Cour commune de Justice et d’Arbitrage (CCJA) d’Abidjan la plus haute juridiction communautaire en matière de commerce électronique. / Le droit de l’OHADA face au commerce électronique (OHADA law pertaining to e-commerce) is an epistemological reflection on the legal issues raised by e-trade conducted among members of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA). This forward looking analysis of the organization’s legal framework governing e commerce draws upon relevant experiments carried out notably in North America (Canada-Québec) and Europe. In Africa, as elsewhere, the new information technologies pose certain legal challenges. During the past several years, various regional and national initiatives have addressed these challenges. However, the heterogeneous nature of the different laws implemented impairs the regional-level legal security sought by OHADA. Building on legal transplant, this dissertation proposes, within the context of OHADA, a true harmonization that will ensure that “African specificities” are taken into account while making the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) in Abidjan the highest community jurisdiction in matters of e-commerce.

A la veille de l’élection présidentielle de 2007, la candidate du Parti socialiste, Ségolène Royal, revendique la transformation des modalités classiques d'une campagne électorale au profit de méthodes participatives. Sans rompre avec certaines techniques habituelles du marketing et de la communication politique, cette démarche se fonde sur des expériences délibératives menées au niveau local ou à l’étranger et sur les capacités interactives d’Internet mises au service de nouvelles pratiques démocratiques. Elle participe à la mutation en cours dans les partis politiques, confrontés à des enjeux de démocratie interne et à une interrogation persistante sur leur représentativité. Dans cette thèse, nous mettons en évidence les tensions, les interactions et les formes d’hybridation entre les logiques partisanes et les innovations participatives. Nous montrons comment la construction de dispositifs participatifs agit comme révélateur des rapports de force entre les principaux acteurs du jeu partisan. / In the months preceding the presidential elections of 2007, the Socialist party’s candidate, Ségolène Royal, laid claim to a transformation in traditional electoral campaign tactics in favor of participative methods. These included deliberative experiences both at the local level and abroad, as well as a use of the interactive possibilities of the internet to further new democratic practices, without of course abandoning the more routine techniques used in political marketing and communication. This dissertation explores the tension, interactions, and forms of hybridization that emerged between partisan politics and participative innovations. It highlights the ways the development of participative strategies acts to reveal the power relations between the main actors of the partisan political game.

As novas tecnologias têm sido aliadas a uma série de programas que visam melhorar a vida dos idosos. Embora o número de trabalhos que aliem novas tecnologias às intervenções psicoeducacionais seja crescente, a produção ainda é timida e não há registros de estudos que aliem dispositivos móveis com intervenções psicoeducativas visando promover a prevenção de quedas em idosos. Objetivos: Apresentar evidências científicas de uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre o efeito de intervenções educativas associadas ou não ao treinamento físico no medo de quedas em pessoas idosas. Apresentar o desenvolvimento de uma intervenção educativa e tecnológica para prevenção de quedas em pessoas idosas. Apresentar os resultados do piloto de uma intervenção educativa e tecnológica para prevenção de quedas em pessoas idosas quanto a caracterização da amostra e teste piloto da intervenção psicoeducativa isolada e associada ao treinamento físico. Métodos: Foram convidados a participar do estudo 47 indivíduos participantes da Universidade Aberta a Terceira Idade (UnATI| EACH-USP) matriculados no programa Equilibre-se, com idade igual ou superior a 60 anos, randomizados e divididos em quatro grupos distintos: 1) grupo psicoeducativo; 2) grupo de psicoeducação e exercício físico; 3) grupo exercício e 4) grupo controle. Os participantes do grupo de intervenção psicoeducacional participaram de um encontro semanal de 60 minutos cada, durante 16 semanas e após o término desta intervenção, foram convidados a testar um jogo educativo. Esse procedimento foi realizado após os três últimos encontros com o grupo psicoeducativo. Os participantes do grupo psicoeducacional combinado com exercício realizaram adicionalmente ao grupo psicoeducativo mais 60 minutos de exercício físico, duas vezes na semana, durante 16 semanas. O desenho do presente estudo é multifatorial. A testagem ocorreu de maneira duplo-cega. O grupo controle foi convidado a participar da intervenção ao término da pesquisa. Todos os participantes preencheram o Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido. Instrumentos: Dados de caracterização e identificação (nome, sexo, idade, escolaridade, estado civil); Questionário sobre doenças autorrelatadas; Questões autorrelatadas sobre quedas; Addenbrooke Cognitive Examination Revised (ACE-R); v Escala de Depressão Geriátrica (EDG); Falls Efficacy Scale-International (FES-I); Falls Risk Awareness Questionnaire (FRAQ); subtestes de Dígitos Diretos e Indiretos da Escala de Inteligência Wechsler para Adultos (WAIS-III); subteste Códigos da WAS-III; Tteste Trilhas, versão A e versão B. Resultados: A revisão de literauta mostrou que embora não exista um consenso sobre o melhor tipo de intervenção para prevenir quedas em idosos, a literatura tem apresentado que intervenções multifatoriais podem gerar bons resultados. O Equilibre-se também apresentou bons resultados e aponta que a psicoeducação combinada a tecnologia pode ser utilizada em programas de prevenção de quedas em idosos. O piloto de usabilidade do jogo apresentou bons resultados, sugerindo que o jogo pode ser uma boa ferramenta tecnológica a ser empregada em programas de prevenção de quedas / The new technologies have been combined with a series of programs aimed at improving the lives of the elderly. Although the number of works that combine new technologies with psychoeducational interventions is increasing, production is still timid and there are no records of studies that include mobile devices with psychoeducational interventions aimed at promoting the prevention of falls in the elderly. Objectives: To present scientific evidence of a systematic review of the literature on the effect of educational interventions associated or not with physical training on fear of falls in the elderly. To present the development of an educational and technological intervention to prevent falls in the elderly. To present the results of the pilot of an educational and technological intervention to prevent falls in the elderly regarding the characterization of the sample and pilot test of the psychoeducational intervention isolated and associated to the physical training. Methods: Participants were enrolled in Equilibre-se program, aged 60 years or older, randomly divided into four groups: (1) psychoeducational group; 2) psychoeducation and physical exercise group; 3) group exercise and 4) control group. Participants in the psychoeducational intervention group participated in a weekly meeting of 60 minutes each, during 16 weeks and after the end of this intervention, were invited to test an educational game. This procedure was performed after the last three meetings with the psychoeducational group. Participants of the psychoeducational group combined with exercise performed the psychoeducational group plus 60 minutes of physical exercise, twice a week, for 16 weeks. The design of the present study is multifactorial. Testing occurred in a double-blind fashion. The control group was invited to participate in the intervention at the end of the research. All participants completed the Free and Informed Consent Form. Instruments: Characterization and identification data (name, sex, age, schooling, marital status); Questionnaire on self-reported diseases; Self-reported fall issues; Addenbrooke Cognitive Examination Revised (ACE-R); Geriatric Depression Scale (EDG); Falls Efficacy Scale-International (FES-I); Falls Risk Awareness Questionnaire (FRAQ); Direct and Indirect Digits subtests of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adults (WAIS-III); subtest WAS-III codes; The literature review has shown that although there is no consensus on the best type of intervention to prevent falls in the vii elderly, the literature has shown that multifactorial interventions can generate good results. Equilibre-se has also presented good results and points out that psychoeducation combined technology can be used in programs to prevent falls in the elderly. The game\'s usability pilot has yielded good results, suggesting that the game may be a good technological tool to be employed in fall prevention programs

O presente trabalho tem a intenção de, primeiramente, estudar a guitarra elétrica como interface de composição e improvisação através da utilização de novas tecnologias digitais na música experimental; em um segundo momento, propõe uma composição musical utilizando alguns aparatos tecnológicos acoplados à guitarra. Essas ferramentas foram escolhidas após um extensivo mapeamento individual e através de experimentações de suas potencialidades do processamento sonoro quando abordadas com o instrumento. O material composicional foi posteriormente construído a partir de observações e reflexões do autor sobre o uso do instrumento enquanto interface no diálogo com as novas tecnologias digitais presentes na computação móvel. O trabalho traz também o registro autoetnográfico do período de pesquisa de algumas das ferramentas digitais selecionadas quando em uso com a guitarra elétrica e o processo de composição e registro da peça proposta, além de sua posterior análise. Em sua conclusão, são apresentadas, portanto, as observações e reflexões desta interação do instrumento e suas novas formas de instrumenticidade quando acoplado ao computador. / This work intends to, first, study the electric guitar as composition and improvisation interface through the use of new technology in experimental music; in a second moment, proposes a composition using some technological devices attached to the electric guitar. These tools were chosen after an extensive mapping individual trial and through its sound processing capabilities when addressed with the instrument. The compositional material was subsequently constructed from observations and author\'s reflections on the use of the instrument as an interface in dialogue with the new technologies available in mobile computing. The work also brings an auto-ethnography record of the research period of a few digital tools selected when in use with the electric guitar and the writing process and recording of the piece proposed, and its subsequent analysis. In its conclusion, therefore presents the observations and reflections from this interaction of the instrument and its new forms of instrumentness when attached to the computer.

Este trabalho se faz no bojo das relações que se tecem entre o homem, o mundo e as máquinas, no limiar do terceiro milênio, em que a profusão de mensagens e a hibridização de linguagens, cada vez mais estão presentes em nossas vidas a exigir habilidades de leitura e compreensão diferentes das exigidas em épocas passadas. Com o advento da era tecnológica, jovens e crianças são seduzidos pelos gadgets, e demonstram uma espécie de reação condicionada, sem consciência e sem reflexão, um olhar apático a tudo o que não esteja carregado de movimentos, flashes, sons, imagens. Considerando isso, refletiu-se sobre a complexidade sígnica em que estamos inseridos e o processo de transformação da cultura, do pensamento e das linguagens, que eclode com a revolução digital, promovendo novas articulações e relações de entendimento tanto no âmbito cognitivo quanto no afetivo, pessoal. A pesquisa visa, então, sinalizar caminhos para sensibilizar o ser humano. Propomos nossa discussão, no âmbito e nas fronteiras da literatura e educação de jovens e crianças, pela via da leitura da literatura infantil e juvenil, da poesia, das artes em geral, visto que, são manifestações dotadas de qualidades capazes de suscitar novos olhares e provocar múltiplas semioses pela fruição e cognição. Compreendemos que este é o meio pelo qual o ser desta nossa era poderá transcender e voltar a experienciar um olhar de encantamento, apreendendo e aprendendo a lidar com as emoções e informações necessárias para a formação de um ser humano mais justo, solidário, ético e agente transformador de si e da sociedade em que vive. / This work focuses on the interwoven relations between man, world and machines on the threshold of the Third Millennium, when the multiplicity of messages and the hybridization of languages are each time more present in our lives and demand new reading abilities. With the advent of the technological era, youngsters and children are seduced by the gadgets and show a kind of conditioned reaction, without conscience or reflection, an apathetic view on everything that is not charged with movements, flashes, sounds, images. Considering this, we reflected on the signical complexity in which we are inserted and the process of changes in culture, thought and languages triggered by the digital revolution, which promoted new articulations and understanding of both the cognitive and affective ambits. So, this research aims to suggest ways to sensitize the human being. We propose our discussion within the frontiers of literature and childrens/youngsters education, supporting that childrens and juvenile literature, poetry and arts in general are expressions able to evoke new views and multiple semiosis through fruition and cognition. We understand this is the way through which our eras man will be able to transcend and to experience an enchanted view again, apprehending and learning how to manage the emotions and information needed to the formation of a fairer, more sympathetic and ethic human being, an agent who transforms himself and the society he lives in.

O presente trabalho desenvolve uma reflexão sobre o rádio (meio de comunicação, empresa e linguagem) diante do cenário de possibilidades introduzido pelas tecnologias de informação e comunicação desde aproximadamente os últimos 20 anos. Num primeiro momento, tentamos compreender os estudos recentes do rádio e das tecnologias digitais, bem como a interferência das últimas na sociedade. Em seguida, partimos para os principais objetivos da pesquisa, entre os quais está delinear o processo de incorporação de usos dados ao rádio pelas tecnologias digitais, o que pode ser chamado de convergência, e como isso muda as estruturas de produção radiofônica. Por outro lado, por meio de uma análise empírica, tentamos definir quais as principais ferramentas tecnológicas que estão sendo usadas pelos veículos na produção de conteúdo, e de que maneira essa produção vem sendo modificada. Constatamos que existe uma apropriação de novas ferramentas digitais dentro e fora da internet mas o processo ainda é lento devido, possivelmente, ao modelo administrativo das emissoras. Outro objetivo tenta relacionar ambos os processos com as estratégias de vinculação do ouvinte com a emissora de rádio: entendemos que as ações tomadas não são apenas a utilização de diversos canais de difusão de conteúdo, ou a incorporação nas novas ferramentas tecnológicas no cotidiano da emissora; tanto os comunicadores como as empresas estão presentes, agora, em vários espaços e a esfera de ação é ampliada para além da palavra falada na comunicação radiofônica tradicional. / The present essay aims at developing a study on radio (communication media, company and language) facing the new scenario of possibilities introduced by the new information and communication technologies, which is occurring since 20 years ago, at least. At first sight, we try to comprehend the recent studies about radio and digital technologies in Brazil, and the interferences the latter produces on society. Next, we carry on with the main goals of this project, among which we try to delineate the process of incorporation by the digital tools of the main uses given to radio, a process one may call convergence; besides, we also try to understand what changes on radio production structures. In addition, throughout an empirical analysis, we try to point out which technological tools are being used by radio corporations on content production, and on which basis such production is being modified. We verified that there is a process in course to appropriate such tools in and outside the internet environment although it is slow possibly given the administrative model of the radio broadcasters. Another objective of this essay relates both processes with strategies carried out by broadcasters to bound with listeners: we understand the conducted actions are not only the usage of different content diffusion channels, or the incorporation of new technological tools into the broadcasters quotidian; both communicators and companies are now present in many spaces, and their sphere of action is broadened to beyond the spoken word in the traditional radio communication.

Este estudo procurou compreender como a Biblioteca foi instituída e as transformações ocorridas, visando fazer uma constatação histórica cultural sobre a coexistência das histórias ambientadas numa biblioteca, como: história da escrita, história do livro - sua invenção e destruição -, história da leitura, da própria biblioteca e da tecnologia. O primeiro capítulo apresenta um estudo histórico descritivo acerca da instituição biblioteca como espaço de memória, leitura e conhecimento. A destruição da memória voluntaria ou por desastres naturais, causaram a devastação cultural. O surgimento da leitura, um entendimento de como a leitura se desenvolveu e suas diferentes formas. E a biblioteca como cenário do conhecimento no atual contexto informacional, marcado claramente pelo uso intensivo das tecnologias. O segundo capítulo traz um relato da história do livro, seu início, quando era caligrafado página por página até as atuais tecnologias, dando continuidade com o livro digital. E a questão, se o livro impresso sobreviverá ao digital diante das inovações tecnológicas da atualidade. O terceiro capítulo descreve a escrita e a biblioteca, as práticas de leitura e da escrita na contemporaneidade, a biblioteca digital e suas particularidades. Com a exposição da história da primeira biblioteca no Brasil. Uma revisão do entendimento de biblioteca como um simples depósito de livros para o de um espaço de dinamização da informação em formato impresso e digital, com memória, leitura e conhecimento.
