Os ambientes digitais favorecem a transposição dos limites convencionais de representação e disseminação do conhecimento registrado, incorporando novos elementos aos processos de produção, organização e recuperação de informações. Considerando as ontologias como uma nova e instigante categoria de sistemas de representação do conhecimento, buscou-se, a partir de um diálogo interdisciplinar, fundamentos que possibilitem analisar as aproximações desta nova abordagem computacional com os instrumentos e métodos tradicionalmente utilizados no área disciplinar de Organização do Conhecimento, investigando em que medida a área de Ciência da Informação pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento de ontologias e analisando os reflexos de sua utilização em bibliotecas digitais. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo das principais teorias e tecnologias relacionadas ao desenvolvimento de ontologias e bibliotecas digitais, contextualizando-as a partir do corpus teórico da área de Ciência da Informação. Deste modo, foi desenvolvida a Ontologia de Informações Referencias (OIR) e um protótipo de Biblioteca Digital baseado em ontologias, denominado como BibliOntO, com o objetivo de analisar a aplicabilidade de ontologias em bibliotecas digitais. Como resultados, verificou-se que as ontologias possibilitam o desenvolvimento de novos tipos de serviços de informação e melhorias nos processos de representação, organização e recuperação de informações em ambientes digitais. Constatou-se também que sua aplicação em bibliotecas digitais representa uma interessante alternativa, contribuindo para um... / Throughout the last years, the increasing use of Technologies of Information and Communication (TICs) have stimulated a new gamma of informational necessities. The digital environments favor the transposition of the conventional limits of representation and dissemination of the registered knowledge, incorporating new elements to the processes of production, organization and recovery of information. Considering the ontologies as a new and riveting category of systems of representation of knowledge, we searched, starting from a interdisciplinary dialogue, bases that allow to analyze the approaches of this new computational approach with the instruments and methods traditionally used in the area of Knowledge Organization, investigating in what scale the area of Information Science can contribute to the development of ontologies and analyzing the consequences of its use in digital libraries. Therefore, a study of the main theories and technologies related to the development of ontologies and digital libraries was carried through, contextualized in the theoretical framework of the area of Information Science. In this way, the Ontology of Referential Informations (OIR) and a prototype of a Digital Library based on ontologies, called BibliOntO, was developed with the objective of analyzing the applicability of ontologies in digital libraries. As results, it was verified that the ontologies allow the development of new types of information services and improvements in the processes of representation, organization and recovery of information in digital environments. The visibility to the sociocultural contexts promoted by the Science of Information motivated in this research work the documental preservation and of the ecclesiastic institutional memory as a theme of reflexion and archival proceedings in the documental mass accumulated in the South Presbytery of Paraiba and its churches. The familiarity of many years and the Presbyterian institutional experiences brought a reflection: How does the documental management can contribute to the ecclesiastical memory of the South Presbytery of Paraíba? The raised question motivated the research and raised the definition of the general definition like: To analyse the present state of the documental mass that constitutes the memorialistic universe of the South Presbytery of Paraíba with the purpose of the preservation of its institutional memory and in a specific way to elaborate a manual of archival proceedings to the preservation of documents ruled by the principles of the documental management. Exploratory, documentary, qualitative research, directed its collect and data analysis to the documents of permanent use for understanding that the preservation of these documents with its historical informational value will strengthen the collective memory and the life of a community. The manual of the archival proceedings to the organization and preservation of the institutional memory of the South Presbytery of Paraíba takes part in the written presentation as appendix and soon after the delivery of legal procedures to the coordination of the Post graduation of Science Information Programme will be delivered to the direction of the South Presbytery of Paraíba with the purpose of evoking the possibility of an archival structuration to the supports of information which research pointed to the need of an archival organization to the preservation of the history and the ecclesiastic institutional collective memory of the Churches in the South Presbytery in the State of Paraíba. / O Presbitério Sul da Paraíba é um concílio da Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil no Estado da Paraíba que tem sob sua jurisdição atualmente onze igrejas. A visibilidade aos contextos socioculturais promovidos pela Ciência da Informação motivou neste trabalho de pesquisa a preservação documental e de memória institucional eclesiástica como um tema de reflexão e procedimentos arquivísticos na massa documental acumulada do Presbitério Sul da Paraíba e suas igrejas. A convivência de muitos anos e a vivência institucional Presbiteriana trouxe um questionamento: Como a gestão documental pode contribuir para a construção da memória institucional eclesiástica do Presbitério Sul da Paraíba? A questão apresentada motivou a pesquisa e suscitou a definição do objetivo geral como: Analisar o estado atual da massa documental que constitui o universo memorialístico do Presbitério Sul da Paraíba com vistas a preservação de sua memória institucional e de modo específico elaborar um manual de procedimentos arquivísticos para a preservação de documentos pautado pelos princípios de gestão documental. Pesquisa exploratória, documental, qualitativa, direcionou sua coleta e análise dos dados aos documentos de uso permanente por entender que a preservação desses documentos com seu valor informacional histórico, de memória e conhecimento da instituição vão fortalecer a memória individual e coletiva da comunidade. This Master´s thesis is focused on the security of Educational center running a research aimed at chemical industry. In the first part the theoretical basis followed in the field are defined. The practical part is based on the security of a property considering the technical aspects as well as the suggestions of the trainings of managers and employees and sets respective permissions. In a close-search approach of quality nature tries to review, from the dialogue with the Information Science, particularly with the Organization and Information Treatment area, with the purpose of learning the main postulates theoretical-conceptual and methodologies to assist the construction of this process. Shows evolutive stage of thinking and archivist making, aiming at understanding the social-historical movement of its area, schemes a brief systematization distinguishing some differences and institutional similarities among: Archives, Libraries and Documentation Cores. It is also shown the chief contributions of Documentation Movement in the deconstruction of paradigms and its impact in the organization practices and information treatment. Reviews the concept evolution of triad: Archive, document and information since custodial paradigm to post-custodial, moreover delimits reputably the particularities of archivist information. Esta pesquisa apresenta o desenvolvimento de método de busca e recuperação de informações em bases de dados especializadas para produção do conhecimento científico na área da Saúde, com ênfase na Saúde Baseada em Evidências. Recorremos, neste trabalho, a diferentes metodologias considerando as especificidades de cada etapa: pesquisa exploratória, método hipotético dedutivo e estudo de caso empírico qualitativo. Mobilizamos os fundamentos teórico-metodológicos da Ciência da Informação e da Saúde nos domínios da Organização e Recuperação da Informação e do Conhecimento, Web Semântica, Saúde Baseada em Evidências e Metodologia Científica, assim como realizamos dois experimentos: estudo de caso em Ortopedia e Traumatologia no sentido de identificar e estabelecer critérios para busca, recuperação, organização e seleção de informações de modo que possam integrar parte da metodologia de trabalhos científicos na área da Saúde; e análise dos tipos de busca e recuperação e dos mapeamentos entre Sistemas de Organização do Conhecimento (SOC) propostos no Metatesauro no escopo da Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) da US National Library of Medicine e no BioPortal da National Center for Biomedical Ontology, ambos na área biomédica. O UMLS disponibiliza acesso a 151 SOC, e o BioPortal, um conjunto de 302 ontologias. Apresentam-se propostas para construção de estratégias de busca com uso de Sistemas de Organização do Conhecimento mapeados e interoperados, bem como para realização de pesquisas bibliográficas para elaboração de trabalhos científicos na área da Saúde. / This research presents the development of method for search and information retrieval in specialized databases aiming the production of scientific knowledge in healthcare, with emphasis on Evidence-Based Health. We have used, in this work, different techniques considering the specificities of each stage: exploratory research, hypothetical deductive method and qualitative empirical case study. It mobilizes the theoretical and methodological foundations in Information Science and Health, appling them to areas as knowledge organization and information retrieval, Semantic Web, Evidence-Based Health and Scientific Methodology. Two experiments were performed: a case study in Orthopedics and Traumatology in order to identify and establish criterions for search, retrieval, organization and selection of information, so that these criterions can integrate part of the methodology of scientific work in healthcare; and analysis of kinds of search and retrieval and mappings on Knowledge Organization Systems-KOS available in Metathesaurus, considering the scope of the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM), and in the BioPortal National Center for Biomedical Ontology, both in the biomedical field. The UMLS provides access to 151 KOS, and the BioPortal provides a set of 302 ontologies. We presented proposals for construction of search strategies by using Knowledge Organization System mapped and interoperate as well as for conducting literature searches for preparation of scientific papers in healthcare.
