Osobnost františkána Jana Bárty v totalitním režimu v Čechách / The Personality of Franciscan Jan Bárta in Totalitarian Régime in Bohemia

Drobková, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
The Personality of Franciscan Jan Barta in Totalitarian Régime in Bohemia Abstract This thesis describes briefly the life of Francis of Assisi. Further, it deals with history of male Fraciscan orders in Bohemia and Moravia. Also it concisely maps important events within several centuries. Above all it focuses on modern history in the period of the totalitarian regime in Bohemia. The dissertation pays attention to the personality of Jan Barta, the leading figure of Czech Franciscanism and to holy orders in our country, in the communist supremacy time. The thesis presents important moments in the life of this famous personality. It covers years in prison, writing theological works, organizing life and study of brethren and nuns, re-establishing communion of monastic orders in family - like houses. It mentions suffering before his death linked with his health problems that were caused by questioning from state security. Keywords Franciscan, friar, clergyman or priest, driver, holy order communion, prison, study, organizer, questioning, trial or case at court.

Analýza karyotypu u mesothelidních pavouků / Karyotype analysis of mesothelid spiders

Prokopcová, Lenka January 2018 (has links)
Cytogenetics of mesothelid spiders is largely unkown. The presented diploma thesis is focused on the karyotype evolution of these spiders. As it is the most basal group of spiders, the analysis of its cytogenetics can bring important data about ancestral spider karyotype. In the framework of my thesis, I analysed diploid chromosome numbers, chromosome morphology, meiotic division, sex chromosomes and the pattern of selected molecular markers that were detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization. According to my results, mesothelid spiders have a high number of chromosomes and the prevalence of monoarmed chromosomes. Unlike other spiders, mesothelids have little differentiated sex chromosomes. Key words: evolution, spider, chromosome, karyotype, fluorescence in situ hybridization, nucleolar organiser region, sex chromosomes

Modelling Factors Affecting Academic Performance in Swedish Schools with Multiple Linear Regression / Modellering av faktorer som påverkar studieresultat i svenska skolor med multipel linjär regression

Breivold, Johanna January 2023 (has links)
This bachelor thesis examines factors affecting the academic performance in Swedish schools. Specifically, the average qualification point among ninth grade students in schools in Stockholm municipality during the academic year 2021-2022 are studied. Multiple linear regression is used to identify individual, social, and school specific factors which have a significant impact on the average qualification point in schools. The purpose is to identify factors affecting the academic performance, and by that contribute to the knowledge base constituting the foundation for the work to improve the academic performance and provide equal opportunities for all students. The Swedish grading system, previous research on factors affecting students' performance, and the Swedish school in a societal perspective are also discussed. The findings indicate that the background of the students, the parents' level of education, and the number of students per teacher are good predictors for academic performance.

Ndinga, Crépin 20 November 2017 (has links)
The attention paid by financial justice to local public markets is not new. previously, before the creation of the regional audit chambers in 1982, financial control of local procurement was shared between the court of auditors and the general paying treasurers. But the system adopted in 1938 was criticized because the t.p.g. brought together the two qualities of agent control and subsidiary responsible for the irregularities he discovered. This system appeared more consistent with the principles introduced by the law of decentralization of march 2, 1982, who created the CRC which was taken in the control of the local procurement. In 1982, three traditional missions had been entrusted to the CRC in the area of public procurement: judgment of auditors, review of the management and budgetary control. following a legislative reform made by the law of february 6, 1992, a fourth allocation had been assigned: examination of the conventions relating to public procurement and the dsp. Long, financial magistrates, for lack of time and means have always favored control of the regularity of procurement and enforcement of public procurement at the expense of their quality (effectiveness) control. To adapt to the new dynamics of the local public management, the magistrates of the CRC are approaching, today, anglo-saxon methods that analyze the quality of management through three criteria, so-called "triple-e": economy, efficiency and effectiveness. If control of the regularity of public procurement remains indispensable, it must now be associated with the control of performance and results.

Cerebellar Development and Neurogenesis in Zebrafish

Kaslin, Jan, Brand, Michael 19 March 2019 (has links)
Cerebellar organization and function have been studied in numerous species of fish. Fish models such as goldfish and weakly electric fish have led to important findings about the cerebellar architecture, cerebellar circuit physiology and brain evolution. However, most of the studied fish models are not well suited for developmental and genetic studies of the cerebellum. The rapid transparent ex utero development in zebrafish allows direct access and precise visualization of all the major events in cerebellar development. The superficial position of the cerebellar primordium and cerebellum further facilitates in vivo imaging of cerebellar structures and developmental events at single cell resolution. Furthermore, zebrafish is amenable to high-throughput screening techniques and forward genetics because of its fecundity and easy keeping. Forward genetics screens in zebrafish have resulted in several isolated cerebellar mutants and substantially contributed to the understanding of the genetic networks involved in hindbrain development (Bae et al. 2009; Brand et al. 1996). Recent developments in genetic tools, including the use of site specific recombinases, efficient transgenesis, inducible gene expression systems, and the targeted genome lesioning technologies TALEN and Cas9/CRISPR has opened up new avenues to manipulate and edit the genome of zebrafish (Hans et al. 2009; Scott 2009; Housden et al. 2016; Li et al. 2016)}. These tools enable the use of genome-wide genetic approaches, such as enhancer/exon traps and cell specific temporal control of gene expression in zebrafish. Several seminal papers have used these technologies to successfully elucidate mechanisms involved in the morphogenesis, neurogenesis and cell migration in the cerebellum (Bae et al. 2009; Chaplin et al. ; Hans et al. 2009; Volkmann et al. ; Volkmann et al. 2008). In addition, the use of genetically encoded sensors and probes that allows detection and manipulation of neuronal activity using optical methods have open up new means to study the physiology and function of the cerebellum (Simmich et al. 2012; Matsui et al. 2014). Taken together, these features have allowed zebrafish to emerge as a complete model for studies of molecular, cellular and physiological mechanisms involved in cerebellar development and function at both cell and circuit level.
