O mundo é redondo como a rosa: imaginação poética e criação pedagógica

Almeida, Patricia Ribeiro de 10 September 2013 (has links)
This dissertation introduce a reflection about the natural creativeness in the art´s teachers work. Des racines à la matière : l'univers sonore des œuvres pour guitare de Maurice OHANA / From roots to matter : the sound universe of Maurice Ohana's guitar works

Sacchi, Stéphane 24 June 2019 (has links)
How to approach the music of Maurice Ohana and what sense should we give to the use he makes of the guitar in his work? In this research, I will try to understand how the guitar holds such a special and essential place in his work as a whole. In fact, it carries a whole cultural and symbolic universe and contributes to nourishing the poetic imagination of the timeless creator Maurice Ohana. This poetic and atavistic world of a tree of influences is, in the composer's mind, both a source of inspiration and innovation. The ten-string guitar that he introduced in his two cycles — Si le jour paraît… and Cadran lunaire — allows him to operate on the sound material (“matière sonore”), a creative work that gives rise to an original work whose understanding requires the exploration of a cultural heritage strongly imbued with cante jondo and Andalusian culture. Between tradition and innovation, orality and writing, the work for guitar has a relationship with the sound material (“matière sonore”) that gives meaning to the process of understanding of Maurice Ohana’s work.

Poetická imaginace anglikánské spirituality ve vybraných dílech metafyzických básníků 17. století / The Poetic Imagination of Anglican Spirituality in Selected Works of 17th Century Metaphysical Poets

WINSTED, Margareta January 2011 (has links)
The thesis concerns an aspect of poetic imagination in the works of 17th century metaphysical poets and examines the way these poets were influenced by the Church of England. In addition, it identifies elements of Anglican spirituality in their works. The first section analyzes the concept of Christian spirituality and the specifics of Anglican spirituality. Anglican spirituality is closely linked with the historical origins and development of the Anglican Church. In the second section, there is a description of poetic imagination and the relationship between poetics and spirituality. The thesis describes the concept of so-called metaphysical poets. The works of three selected authors are examined to identify poetic expressions of general, theological issues. Theological themes emphasized in Anglican spirituality are compared with those expressed in metaphysical poetic imagination. The aim of this thesis is to find the role of poetics in general, theological discourse.

[pt] IMAGINAR O QUASE-ACONTECIMENTO: POÉTICAS AMERÍNDIAS E OCIDENTAIS / [en] IMAGINING QUASI-EVENTS: WESTERN AND AMERINDIAN POETICS

MARIA BEATRIZ DE FARIA CASTANHEIRA RIBEIRO 03 November 2020 (has links)
[en] This thesis explores the potency of the notion of the quasi-event in the field of literary studies. By locating this notion within the sphere of Amerindian perspectivism, it makes use of contemporary investigations that, committed to the imperative of not assuming an epistemological advantage in encounters with indigenous peoples, have been interested in considering the artistic experience under the impact of these encounters. In the Amerindian universe, a quasi-event-taken is an event recurrently associated with ontological transit (i.e., trips to the worlds of the dead, spirits, animals, things etc.), in which quasidade is a crucial vector in mythical narratives and shamanic practices. In contrast to states of fusion and annulment, this experience with quasidade can only manifest itself in suspensive terms. The willingness to inhabit (thus in suspension) neighboring zones between human and non-human worlds has often been evoked and summoned in connection with the artistic experience in so-called Western contexts: taking part in such movement, the reflections of Deleuze and Guattari are, in general, important influences on the ethnophilosophical materials in focus, most notably the works of Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, Tania Stolze Lima and Manuela Carneiro da Cunha. Moreover, two aspects of the French philosophers thinking are especially relevant to this study: on the one hand, a more theoretical approach is the insistence on the becoming sorcerer of the artist; and, on the other hand, more methodological, is the path they open when constructing their thinking through the invention of a heterogeneous series of intercessors. Composed of an eclectic set of poetic materials capable of disturbing a certain Western way of conceiving the imagination, this thesis investigates possible links between poetic imagination and quasi-event . Hence, introducing and discussing the unique ways in which Amerindian and Western poetics mobilize quasi-event-taken, it is shown that the dialogue with interconnected practices of Amerindian life clears the path for alternative ways to (re)think and (re)live the potency of the body in the imagination, as well as the links between theoretical-critical and artistic practices. This last matter is reflected in this work s writing process: the reading exercises carried out here make my activities as a researcher and as a writer to overflow with each other. By this bias and in a cut-off that will be enough for the interests of this study, such exercises respond to the paradoxical nature of xapiri images in David Kopenawa s shamanic narrative in A queda do céu; the mythical-ritualistic atmosphere of Ikpeng and Yanomami contact with death; and the disorder of bodies that infest the myth Pu iito – Amerindian practices and poetics that I put in friction with the following Western artistic experiences: the books O Imitador de Vozes, by Thomas Bernhard and Amada, by Toni Morrison; the poem Qvasi , by Edimilson de Almeida Pereira; and the short story O sofredor do ver , by Maura Lopes Cançado.

Poetická imaginace presbyteriánské spirituality v kancionálu Trinity Hymnal / The Poetic Imagination of Presbyterian Spirituality in the Trinity Hymnal

WINSTED, Margareta January 2018 (has links)
In modern day American Protestant churches, both conservative and liberal ministers, pastors, theologians and lay leadership struggle over how to arrange and conduct worship services (liturgy) and how to integrate contemporary or traditional hymns. Many characterize this struggle as ?Worship Wars?. This dissertation concerns the poetic imagination of the Trinity Hymnal (1990), the hymnal of conservative Presbyterian churches that was originally published as a reaction to the liberal stream of Presbyterianism. Thus, the dissertation presents the Anglo-American debate in poetic theology, focusing on the poetic imagination of Presbyterian spirituality and its development to the Czech environment. The first section concerns the concept of Poetic theology focusing on the Protestant poetic theology as defined by W. A. Dyrness. The Presbyterian spirituality is then characterized by McGrath typology. His Theological foundations for spiritualiy are first determined by the teaching of Presbyterianism (especially Calvinism and the Westminster Confession of Faith), and then examined in the poetic imagination of hymns found in the Trinity Hymnal. The poetic imagination of the hymns, which is based primarily on the poetic imagination of Scripture and the Anglican Book of Common Prayer, demonstrates the intermingling of the Christian traditions of the songs and suggests the theological value of poetic language. This dissertation presents and analyzes the issue of Presbyterian search for adequate expression of hymns in worship. The method applied here offers a new basis for further exploration of current trends in the American worship tradition of Presbyterianism. In this respect it concerns a unique exploration of the interconnection of the poetic language of Presbyterian hymns with the Anglican liturgy. It also presents the research of poetic imagination of spiritual hymns and linking of the traditions as a topic to enrich ecumenical discussion.

"Lopota k životu posmrtnému" William Blake prorokem v moderním světě? / "A Drudgery Towards the Other Life" William Blake - a Prophet In Modern World?

KOPEČNÁ, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
The thesis deals with life and particularly works of William Blake, one of the most prominent representatives of English poetry and art. His work stems from his dissatisfaction and resistance to religious and secular doctrines. He is known as an original poet, an engraver and a painter, a graphic artist and an illustrator, as well as a mystic and a visionary. In the midst of the birth of the modern world, during the War of Independence, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution, he considered his talent for design and his predispositions of the Old Testament prophets a direct inspiration for him and his prophetic mission. He identified with all types of oppression and enslavement of humanity and tried to gibbet them in his works. He mainly criticised repressed sexuality, which according to him leads to wars, industrialism and perverted science. The apocalyptic character of many of his works is closely related to the time in which he lived and worked. These are mainly so-called prophetic books, which he also printed, and in which he used synthesis of artistic means. Most of his life he spent in poverty and solitude, misunderstood and despised. This reassured him of his real prophetic destiny. Blake?s work became an inspiration for following generations of artists; but only the 20th century fully discovered him and understood the importance of his prophetic vision. Blake sees a redemptive power of the real art, which helps cleanse people?s inner eyes, and gives them the opportunity to be freed from enslaving forces.

Gonçalves, Bruno Simões 24 October 2007 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 Bruno Simoes Goncalves.pdf: 1489853 bytes, checksum: e3349f2df55540a9fe6d05dfb91010f1 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-10-24 / The purpose of this essay is to investigate the existing tension between the tradition and the modernity within the caipira way of life, by using two basic and complementary methods: the bibliographic research and the field research. The theoretical basis is built on an approximation between the reflection on Brazilian modernity, by the sociologist José de Souza Martins, and the phenomenology of the imagination, by Gaston Bachelard. The field research took place in São Luís do Paraitinga and resulted in the conduction, transcription and analysis of four interviews, all included in this work. The choice of the research subjects, the issues of the interviews and the eventual use of those accounts have been based in the fundamentals of Oral History. The modern Brazilian consciousness is like a path in between two boundaries. Our double consciousness, divided between the modern and the traditional, results on the conjugation of the different life styles which got together to form our own identity. The modern Brazilian consciousness takes place in a game of power in which are summed up customs and values, that are rationalized and urbanocentrics , with the tribality and the rural magic universe. Logic and Poetic Imagination are seen here as symbols of these two distinct ways of being together with reality. This essay is an effort to reach the understanding of the fundamental dynamics existing within our culture, revealed through the subjectivity and the daily caipira style of living, as well as, to perceive how these dimensions are related basing on the so called great lines of History . Built in a direct interaction with some of the residents of São Luís do Paraitinga, these reflections are a way to not only built a brief critical analysis of reality but also to register words and gestures of the ones who, historically, had their voices silenced the women and men from the countryside / A presente dissertação tem como objetivo principal investigar a tensão existente entre tradição e modernidade no interior do modo de vida caipira, a partir de dois pilares básicos e complementares: a pesquisa bibliográfica e a pesquisa de campo.

Brightness Under Our Shoes: the Redress of the Poetic Imagination in the Poetry and Prose of David Malouf, 1960-1982.

Smith, Yvonne Joy January 2009 (has links)
Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) / This study investigates the poetic foundation of David Malouf’s poetry and prose published from 1960 to 1982. Its purpose is to extend reading strategies so that the nature of his poetic and its formative influence are more fully appreciated. Its thesis is that Malouf explores and tests with increasing confidence and daring a poetic imagination that he believes must meet the demands of the times. Malouf’s work is placed in relation to Wallace Stevens’ belief that the poetic imagination should “push back against the pressure of reality”, a view discussed by Seamus Heaney in “The Redress of Poetry”. The surprise of the poetic as “unpredicted aesthetic value” (García-Berrio, 1989) is significant to his purposes and techniques, as it creates idea-images and feeling-values (Jung, 1921) that bring together apparently opposite ways of knowing the world. In seeking to represent the meeting of inner and outer perceptions, Malouf’s work shows the influence not only of Stevens but also Rilke and contemporary American poetry of “deep image”. The Australian context of Malouf’s work is considered in relation to Judith Wright’s essay “The Writer and the Crisis” and the poetry of Malouf’s contemporaries. Details of the manuscript development of his first four novels show Malouf’s steps towards a clearer representation of his holistic, post-romantic vision. His correspondence with the poet Judith Rodriguez provides useful insights into his purposes. Theories and research about brain functions, the nature of intelligence and learning provide an important international context in the 1960s and 1970s, given Malouf’s interest in how meaning forms from perception and experience. Jean Piaget’s view of intelligence and David Kolb’s theory of experiential learning (1984) offer frameworks for reading Malouf that have not yet been considered. The thesis offers a model of poetic learning that highlights the interplay of dialectically opposed ways of forming meaning and points to the importance for Malouf of holding diverse states of mind together through the poetic imaginary.
