Diploma Thesis Project teaching - Monuments and personalities in Uhříněves is a project that was created with the primary school pupils as an example of the possible use of regional history in teaching. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is a summary of information from available literature. In this part of the thesis is closer introduced to the benefits and importance of regional history for history teaching in primary schools , along with anchoring regional history in the curriculum. There are also shown working methods, organizational forms and teaching aids, which the teacher can use in assigning regional history teaching. The practical part presents the project itself, its preparation, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of including the problems that occurred during the project, and the possibilities of how to avoid the problem. There are also outlined options for further use of the project. The thesis includes both text and image attachments that document the project.

The aim of this Master's Thesis called The Nature Trail of Selected Manors of Prague 5 in Terms of the Regional History Learning Programme for Upper Secondary School Students is the creation of the historical study with the didactic overlap primarily focused on the regional history knowledge in case of the upper-secondary school students. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The former is interested in the description, comparison and introdcution of the particular homesteads. It also covers their development in the area of Prague 5 in its historical and cultural context. The latter, practical, part deals with the didactic aim to make the upper- secondary school students become familiar with the historical, social and culturally historical aspects of people's life in the given area, taking into account their mutual context. The didactic focus is given on the knowledge of the region with the respect to the educational area A Man and Society. This part also includes the draft of the worksheets intended to the upper-secondary school students in accordance with the outcomes required by Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. This diploma thesis deals with the project that should have introduced 14 personalities who made famous the city of Kladno and its surroundings. The project was defined for chosen students from The Grammar School of Kladno. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part relates to the issue of importance and contribution of regional history. Practical part describes in detail process and results of the project. The project contains of 14 personalities from the history of Kladno, the layout of lessons dealing with these personalities and biographies of personalities that were worked out by students as a result of the project.

The aim of this study is to give a historical view upon and examine the development of local and regional cultural history museums in Norway as a topic in Norwegian cultural policy 1900 – circa 1970. The present thesis is divided into four main parts: In part one data sources and theoretical perspectives are presented. The thesis is written in museology and this is the background for a perspective where of local and regional museums arose as a subject requiring development of public politics. The theoretical perspective is how development of politics frequently appears as a choice between various alternatives based on available contemporary material and ideological suppositions. Local and regional museums appear in this perspective as a cultural phenomenon in their own age, a phenomenon to which Stortinget, the Ministry and the museum profession attached both interpretations and conceptions. In part two, entitled “Concern over a group of museums” the parallelism between museum growth and policymaking from 1900 – 1920 is analyzed. Development of politics in these years can be considered as a process where the formation of clearly defined guiding principles for practice by the authorities took place. In the centre of this development of politics was the regulation on governmental subsidy based on a political framework the need to conform to norms related to calculability and equal treatment. At the same time it does appeared the legitimacy to carry out disciplinary measures was nourished by a conception of local and regional museums as unruly and an image of them as a type of “freely growing” institution. In part three, “A formative recognition”, deals with the growing cooperation between The Norwegian Museums Assosiation and the Ministry in the field of local and regional museum and how it influenced the work in this museum. Cooperation with the museum society ensured that a competent apparatus was available to the Ministry. This led gradually to development of a new administrative regime, more specifically a move toward something which can be described as a professional administration. Part four “Consolidation of the politics” examines the development 1945 – circa 1970. The new tendencies would turn out to reflect an increasing awareness of the educational opportunities for future museum personnel, different solutions for establishing good professional guidance for the unmanned museums and, in parallel within the professional museum milieu, an emerging debate on the museums’ role in society. Common for all these initiatives is that they demonstrate what one could characterise as an increasing degree of professionalism. Part four end with the Proposal from the Museum Committee of 1967. This white paper was presented by the Ministry of Churches and Education in 1972. The document was the first of its kind and was intended to be recognised as a comprehensive plan.  The most tangible result of the white paper was the arrangement for subsidies to semi-public museums which was introduced in 1975.

The submitted work deals with the historical development of german Passion plays in Hořice na Šumavě (district of Český Krumlov) since their origination in 1816, over their temporary decline in 1936. The concept of this work leans on the defended bachelor's thesis Mysterium Hoericense Transformation of the place of memory in the 19th and 20th century. The main exploring attention is paid to the origin of Passion plays in Hořice about life and death of Jesus Christ, to the course of the plays, significant actors and visitors of the plays. Apart from the german written sources, the autor also used local literature published by Sudeten Germans as well as oral history techniques.

The thesis is about the issue of inclusion regional history into teaching at the second grade of elementary school. It is focused on didactic value of regional history and geography of local region, needs of cooperation between school and local community and possibility of cooperation between history and geography in studying regional topics. Example of studying regional history is shown at the area of Uhlířské Janovice. There is a closer look at this region from historical and geographical point of view. The thesis includes the list of literature and other sources which may be used to get more information about this region. It also contains results of empirical investigation, which discover the degree of regional identity of population of Uhlířské Janovice area. The final part of the thesis suggests methodological materials focused on teaching regional topics, which are based on facts of Uhlířské Janovice area.

Vários fatores, dentre eles políticos, econômicos e sociais, podem ter ocasionado a vinda desses espanhóis para as áreas do estado de São Paulo que detinham o maior cultivo de café. No entanto, grande parte deles encontrou situações distintas das que esperavam e, justamente por isso, criaram mecanismos que possibilitariam não só a adaptação em um novo território, como também a inserção e a ajuda mútua. Nesse sentido, o principal foco do trabalho está na tentativa de se aferir como esses imigrantes da colônia espanhola em Franca conseguiram se adaptar a uma nova cidade e, nesse sentido, quais foram as estratégias às quais recorreram para poderem sobreviver e se ajudarem num novo território / Abstract: This work intends to perform a study on the Spanish immigration in Franca, a city in the State of São Paulo, between the years of 1900 and 1955. Several factors, among the political, economical and social, may have caused the arrival of the Spaniards to the areas of the State of São Paulo, who owned the largest coffee plantations. However, a great part of them found situations different from the ones which they expected and, because of that, they created mechanisms which made possible not only the adaptation in a new territory, but also the insertion and mutual help. In this sense, the main focus of the work is on the attempt to measure how these immigrants from the Spanish colony in Franca could adapt themselves to a new city and, in this sense, what the strategies to which they made used to survive were and help mutually in a new territory / Mestre

Thus, it is necessary to understand and situate in time and space characteristics of caririense Region in contrast to the state of Ceará and even the Northeast, contextualizing these features since colonization, analyzing the first crops and economic activities, provided by the favorable climate resulting from Araripe. More sharply, our analysis back to the twentieth century, more precisely in the years 1958 and 1970 to analyze the constant mnemonic and representing variations of these droughts that occurred over the region. Thus, it became interesting to understand how is the process of building the memories of the drought, looking meditate on tensions involving oral narratives and written records, analyzing also disputes by these memories. / Este trabalho – vinculado à linha de pesquisa História Regional do Programa de Pós- Graduação em História da Universidade Federal da Paraíba, com Área de Concentração em História e Cultura Histórica – objetiva discutir e analisar as memórias produzidas sobre as secas na Região do Cariri cearense, engendradas a partir das narrativas orais e dos registros escritos, destacando as particularidades e singularidades existentes sobre a Região, mapeando e discutindo as rupturas e permanências culturais, geografias e históricas sobre a historiografia tradicional. Desta forma, é necessário entender e situar no tempo e no espaço as características da Região caririense em contrapartida ao Estado do Ceará e mesmo do Nordeste, contextualizando estas peculiares existentes desde a colonização, analisando as primeiras culturas e atividades econômicas, proporcionadas pelo clima favorável decorrente da Chapada do Araripe. De forma mais acentuada, nossa análise volta-se ao Século XX, mais precisamente nos anos 1958 e 1970, para perscrutar as constantes variações mnemônicas e representativas destas secas que ocorreram na Região. Assim, tornou-se interessante entender como ocorre o processo de construção das memórias sobre as secas, procurando meditar as tensões que envolvem as narrativas orais e os registros escritos, analisando, ainda, as disputas por estas memórias.

For in such a way, one uses an established theoretical recital in the quarrels on Historical Culture, Region, Material Culture and Archaeology and presents it relation between the archaeological data and the historical references on the aboriginal occupation in this region, as a form of becoming possible the construction of the same one. As methods resource used to demonstrate this construction if it opted to showing uncurling of the studies related to the Culture and its importance for History and Archaeology. At the second, to understand the occupation of the called space of Cariri paraibano in the period Colonial had been made quarrels on the constitution of this space and the paper of the responsible agents for the occupation of the same. The debates on Regional History and the environment of the half-barren one are determinative for the conception of the area today called of Cariri paraibano. In the referring quarrels to Archaeology, it was looked to discourse on the archaeological research that had occurred north-eastern Brazilian and the carried through research, specifically, in this considered area. To analyze the raised sources and to be able to conclude if exist, or not, a referring historical culture to the occupation of the first inhabitants of the Cariri paraibano if it became our objective for the conclusion of this work. / A Cultura histórica é uma temática discutida atualmente na historiografia brasileira, e o objetivo deste trabalho é tratá-la mediante uma abordagem que compreenda as discussões sobre cultura material, memória e identidade e, desta forma, apresentar a cultura histórica referente aos primeiros habitantes do Cariri paraibano através da análise dos dados provenientes da arqueologia e da historiografia. Para tanto, utiliza-se uma fundamentação teórica baseada nas discussões sobre Cultura Histórica, Região, Cultura Material e Arqueologia e apresenta-se a relação entre os dados arqueológicos e as referências históricas sobre a ocupação indígena nesta região, como uma forma de se tornar possível a construção da mesma. Como recurso metodológico utilizado para demonstrar esta construção se optou por mostrar o desenrolar dos estudos relacionados à Cultura e sua importância para a História e a Arqueologia. Num segundo momento, para entender a ocupação do espaço denominado de Cariri paraibano no período Colonial foram feitas discussões sobre a constituição deste espaço e o papel dos agentes responsáveis pela ocupação do mesmo. Os debates sobre a História Regional e o ambiente do semi-árido são determinantes para a concepção da área hoje denominada de Cariri paraibano. Nas discussões referentes à Arqueologia, procurou-se discorrer sobre as pesquisas arqueológicas que ocorreram no Nordeste brasileiro e as pesquisas realizadas, especificamente, nesta área considerada. Analisar as fontes levantadas e poder concluir se existe, ou não, uma cultura histórica referente à ocupação dos primeiros habitantes do Cariri paraibano se tornou o nosso objetivo para a conclusão deste trabalho.
