This diploma thesis focuses on the construction of a construction technological project for the construction of the Central Charging Station in Púchov. The building is located in the industrial area of Púchov and in the area of Continental Matador Rubber. In the thesis is elaborated technical report for building technological project, co-ordination situation of construction with wider transport routes, time and financial object plan, study of the realization of the main technological stages, construction site design, design of main building machines and mechanisms, time schedule of main building, securing material resources for the monolithic part of the building. In the thesis are made, technological rules for drilled pilots and ceiling structure above the first overground floor. Technological regulations follow control and test plans. Other assignments that have been made in this work, such as the occupational safety and health plan, the design and comparison of cranes and the item budget.

The diploma thesis deals with preparation and implementation of an OHS audit in the industrial enterprise. In the theoretical part, contemporary trends in OHS are described and then attention is kept to the occupational safety, including injury rate in Czech republic and new requirements for occupational health and safety management system according to standard ČSN ISO 45001:2018. In the practical part, company FORTEX – AGS, a.s. is introduced, especially department of transport and mechanization, where was safety audit executed. Then there is assessed occupational health and safety management systém introduced, first by analyzing this system and then by internal audit OHS, in which were requirements new standard ČSN ISO 45001:2018 accounted. At the last part, recommendations are proposed to improvement of occupational health and safety management system and obtaining certificate ČSN ISO 45001:2018.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the needs of employer in the field of addictology-side. Secondary targets include: a) analysis of training needs of employees enrolled in the employer's training program for the design of educational-preventive project intended for these RIA (Railway Infrastructure Agency) employees; b) analysis of UIC recommendations addictological interventions aimed for management of safety risks associated with the use of alcohol and other substance abuse at work; c) analysis of implementation possibilities of the recommendations according to the previous point. An analysis of documents - Czech legislation, recommendations UIC - focused on measures regulating the use of alcohol and other substance abuse at work and addictological interventions proposed by UIC. Knowledge questionnaire for employees participated in employer's training program was prepared. Respondents were not informed in advance about the offer to participate in the research, they weren't informed about the addictology knowledge test. During at about 60 minutes there were completed 3100 answers from 31 respondents without training with 40 - 70% correct results (in average 53.4 %). There were differences in correct answers in some parts of questionnaire based on information knowledge of respondents. UIC...

På webbplatsen arbetsliv.org finns webbsidorna branschkunskap och ämneskunskap innehållandes länkar till andra webbsidor, med fakta kring arbetsmiljö. Webbsidorna riktar sig främst till arbetsmiljöingenjörer och medlemmarna inom organisationerna FTF (Föreningen Teknisk Företagshälsovård) Arbetsmiljö och EHSS, Ergonomi och Human Factors Sällskapet Sverige. Arbetsmiljöingenjörer arbetar med frågor relaterade till branscher inom många olika områden. Därför anses det underlätta deras arbete genom att ha en samlad plats för branschspecifik information. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utveckla webbsidor till en egen domän, arbetsmiljowiki.se, och att utifrån organisationsmedlemmarnas åsikter skapa en wiki med bransch- och ämneskunskap inom arbetsmiljö. För att ta reda på användarnas åsikter genomfördes åtta stycken kvalitativa telefonintervjuer med intervjupersoner från olika åldersgrupper. Litteraturstudier skedde kring val och utveckling av teknisk lösning för att få en bild av de möjligheter som finns. Jämförelsen av tekniska lösningar, analysen av telefonintervjuerna och de uppställda kraven utgör tillsammans ett delresultat. Delresultatet ledde fram till en integration av Facebookinloggning, YouTubelänkar, kommentarsfält och att resultatet arbetsmiljowiki.se utformades enligt organisationsmedlemmarnas åsikter. / Located on the website arbetsliv.org is the webpages branschkunskap and ämneskunskap, containing links to other websites with facts about occupational health and safety. The webpages mainly target themselves towards occupational health engineers and members of the two organization’s FTF (Föreningen Teknisk Företagshälsovård) Arbetsmiljö and EHSS, Ergonomi och Human Factors Sällskapet Sverige. Occupational health engineers work with questions related to industries of many different fields. Therefore, it is considered to facilitate their work by providing a collaborative collection of industry-specific information. The purpose of this thesis is to develop the webpages into an independent domain, arbetsmiljowiki.se, and based on the organization members’ opinions create a wiki about industry and subject knowledge related to occupational health and safety. To collect the users’ opinions, eight qualitative telephone interviews were carried out with interviewees from different age-groups. Literature studies regarding choice of and development of technical solutions were performed in order to obtain a greater picture of the available possibilities. The comparison of technical solutions, analysis of the telephone interviews and the specified requirements together make up a part of the result. One part of the result resulted in an integration of Facebook login, embedded YouTube videos, comment fields and that the final result arbetsmiljowiki.se was shaped as per the organization members’ requests.

Effektiv kommunikation mellan vårdens medarbetare är väsentlig för patientsäker vård. Bristfällig kommunikation är kopplad till vårdskador. På den slutenvårdsavdelning i södra Sverige, där både aktuellt förbättringsarbete och studie genomfördes, saknades ett strukturerat arbetssätt för utbyte av viktig information kring barn och ungdomars vård inom ett team av nattarbetare. Därför startades ett förbättringsarbete vilket sedan undersöktes genom en intervjustudie. Genom att införa samling av berörda medarbetare vid varje ny patientinläggning, och tidsbestämda avstämningar som gjordes med ett kommunikationsverktyg, TEAMUP-modellen (T-trust, E-explore, A-ambition, M-model, U-undertake, P-praise) syftade förbättringsarbetet till at etablera en arbetsstruktur som möjliggör effektiv kommunikation i teamet för att minska förekomst av vårdskador samt förbättra arbetsklimatet. Förbättringsarbetet genomfördes med stöd av Nolans modell tillsammans med PDSA- cyklar (P-Plan, D-Do, S-Study, A-Act), fiskbendiagram, förbättringsramen samt värdekompass. I förbättringsarbetet deltog cirka arton nattpersonal och tio vårdnadshavare/barn >15 år. Data samlades in genom enkäter och visualiserades med figurer. Enkätsvaren visade att de nya arbetssätten har möjliggjort strukturerad kommunikation för inforamtionsbyte i teamet kring barn och ungdomars vård och behandlingar. Bland vårdnadshavare/ barn >15 år visade enkätsvaren 100% nöjdhet beträffande kommunikation i teamet kring patienters vård och behandlingar. Av personalen angav 87% att arbetsklimatet förbättrades till föjld av de nya arbetssätten.  En kvalitativ intervjustudie gjordes när förbättringsarbetet avslutades med syfte till att undersöka hur personalen uppfattar att TEAMUP -modellen och samling vid patientinläggning har påverkat deras interna samarbete med avseende på kommunikation i teamet. En semistrukturerad intervjuguide anvvändes. Åtta medarbetare i nattpersonalgruppen medverkade i intervjuer. Data analyserades genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys. De intervjude medarbetarna beskrev att kommunikation och samarbete i teamet förbättrades. Med hjälp av de nya arbetssätten kunde personalen skapa en kultur som innebar att hjälpa varandra mer då de informerade varandra om viktiga förhållanden gällande patienter, avdelningsresurser, diagnoser och missnöje.

A Goal Programming Safety and Health Standards Compliance Model

The purpose of this dissertation was to create a safety compliance model which would advance the state of the art of safety compliance models and provide management with a practical tool which can be used in making safety decisions in an environment where multiple objectives exist. A goal programming safety compliance model (OSHA Model) was developed to fulfill this purpose. The objective function of the OSHA Model was designed to minimize the total deviation from the established goals of the model. These model goals were expressed in terms of 1) level of compliance to OSHA safety and health regulations, 2) company accident frequency rate, 3) company accident cost per worker, and 4) a company budgetary restriction. This particular set of goals was selected to facilitate management's fulfillment of its responsibilities to OSHA, the employees, and to ownership. This study concludes that all the research objectives have been accomplished. The OSHA Model formulated not only advances the state of the art of safety compliance models, but also provides a practical tool which facilitates management's safety and health decisions. The insight into the relationships existing in a safety compliance decision system provided by the OSHA Model and its accompanying sensitivity analysis was demonstrated by the empirical application during the research. The optimal solution values showed what could be accomplished with a given objective structure and the existing safety and health functional relationships. The optimal solution values obtained during the sensitivity analysis showed how sensitive the model is to the uncertainties relating to goal structures and the specific exogenous and endogenous parameter values. This new insight available to management can provide a scientific base upon which the total system decisions can be made.

[pt] A indústria da construção civil tem grande impacto no desenvolvimento econômico e social de um país. Apesar de sua importância, é um dos setores que apresentam mais riscos aos seus trabalhadores. Diversos elementos de projetos de edificações podem apresentar riscos de acidentes aos trabalhadores durante a construção. Desta forma, é de grande importância a análise e planejamento da segurança ainda na fase de projeto, segundo o conceito prevenção através do projeto (Prevention through Design - PtD). Mesmo com os estudos nesta área, percebe-se ainda a necessidade de pesquisas voltadas para a análise quantitativa a fim de auxiliar projetistas, sem expertise em segurança do trabalho, no processo de verificação e análise da segurança do projeto, com o objetivo de reduzir riscos de acidentes aos trabalhadores da construção e, consequentemente, elaborar projetos mais seguros. Com esta finalidade, foi desenvolvido um questionário para avaliar a experiência e a opinião de profissionais do ramo da construção civil a respeito do planejamento da segurança da construção. Como resultado, pôde-se concluir que a prática atual diverge da opinião dos respondentes, uma vez que a prática enfatiza o planejamento da segurança na fase de construção, enquanto segundo a opinião dos respondentes, este planejamento também deveria ocorrer nas etapas anteriores à construção. Isto mostra a importância da análise da segurança na fase de projeto. Além disso, com o questionário foram mensurados os níveis de riscos de acidentes diversos para compor as métricas de segurança do projeto desenvolvidas nesta pesquisa que foram utilizadas na avaliação da nota de segurança do projeto. Com isso, foi possível definir processos bem estruturados por meio do uso da metodologia BIM, possibilitando apoiar o(a) projetista nos processos de decisão através da avaliação da segurança do projeto e ainda, na identificação dos elementos de projeto mais críticos para a segurança do trabalhador. Desta forma a metodologia desenvolvida contribui para a elaboração de um projeto mais seguro aos trabalhadores da construção de edificações. / [en] The construction industry generates wealth and jobs, directly impacting the social and economic development of a country. Despite this positive impact, construction workers are exposed to many risks to their health and safety. Many elements in a project can present hazards to workers during the construction phase. With this in mind, it is of great importance to analyze and plan safety in the design phase, according to the Prevention through Design (PtD) concept. Despite the available studies on the subject, there is still a need for quantitative research, to help designers, without expertise in worker s safety, in the process of verification and analysis of project safety, with the purpose that construction workers risks are reduced by designing a safer design. To achieve that, a questionnaire was developed to assess the experience and opinion of professionals in the construction industry regarding construction safety planning. As a result, it was possible to observe that the practice differs from the opinion of the professionals, once the practice emphasizes safety planning in the construction phase, while in the respondents opinion, this planning should occur in the phases prior to construction, with emphasis on the executive design phase. This shows the importance of considering a safety analysis in the design phase. In addition, with the questionnaire, the levels of risk of various accidents were measured, composing the safety metrics of the project, developed in this research for the project s safety score evaluation. Thus, it was possible to define well-structured processes through the use of the BIM methodology, making it possible to support the designer in the decision processes through the evaluation of project safety, contributing to the development of a safer project for construction workers.
