Bibliotekariestudenter : informationsnissar eller kultursnubbar: vem söker till bibliotekarieutbildningarna i Lund och Umeå, och varför? / Students at the programs of library studies : information freaks culture snobs: who is applying for the programs of library studies in Lund and Umeå, and why?

Svalstedt, Marika, Österdahl, Helena January 1995 (has links)
This thesig will portray the different types of students at the programs of library studiesin Lund &d Umeå.The study is based upon quantitative information gathered from a survey, which wasdistributed to first-year students in Lund and Umeå. The survey was followed by qualitativeinterviews with four students, and with the director of studies from each school. The study shows that the programs, as we11 as the students, are very similar, althoughthere are some minor diferences. It seemed that the students at Umeå were moreinterested4n culture than those at Lund.A certain connection between the aim at information and the ownership of a computercould be detected. The sex of the students played a major part in their choice of education. The attractors and facilitators, used by Lortie in his study, could also be appliedto the students at the program of library studies in our thesis.

Politik i det lilla : lokal utveckling genom hembygdsrörelse

Gilstring, Emmeli January 2019 (has links)
The main purpose of this thesis is to raise a discussion about the local history movement as not only a guardian of cultural and natural heritage but also as a political institution. This means that it affects the local area in various ways that is beneficial for local developement. I wanted to study the general views of the local history movement and have done so through analysing statements made by politicans and by the local history movement itself in relation to what scientists say about the local history movement. The qualities which have emerged have been discussed in relation to various political science theories. The material has been examined through a qualitative content analysis. The result shows a clear pattern among the views. The most apparent tendencies show patterns on matters regarding civic society, community, local identity and integration. The chosen theories proved to be useful as a basis of discussion and a source of understanding the local history movement in relation to human behaviour.

"Kvinnor som jobbar för kvinnor" : En representationsanalys av Gina Tricots Instagramkonto

Nilsson Wester, Izabelle January 2019 (has links)

Lindholm, Gustaf January 2019 (has links)
This essay explores different perspectives on governance in Swedish education as expressed in two different government texts. The purpose is to show how the roll of the teacher might be understood in relation to the governance of education and its public and private goals. Theoretically the study relies on two main theoretical frames used in different stages of a three-step analysis. The first two steps use the concepts autonomy – control in order to analyze the governance of education. These concepts are applied to understand how the two texts that make up the empirical material formulate different types of governance. Specific attention is directed towards the teacher’s professional space considering autonomy – control looked at in the second step of analysis. The third step in turn uses the concepts public good and private good based in the largely Swedish field of curriculum theory to understand what implications different kinds of governance might have for larger questions about the purpose of education. The results show that the two texts that make up the empirical basis of the analysis form different perspectives on governance of education and seek to meet separate goals. One of the texts views governance of education highly as a mean to evaluate students, schools and the school system. This text therefore focuses mainly on technical aspects of governance. The other text in turn can be viewed as a reaction to a detailed technical view of governance as a mean for evaluation. Instead a perspective where governance of education should trust the knowledge of teachers is presented. Teachers in turn should be responsive to students’ needs and views on their education. The purpose of governance visible in this text leans mainly towards achieving goals that are not easily measured. The two unveiled perspectives show that varying types of governance fulfill different purposes based on their design. This in turn affects the way in which education is able to fulfill public and private needs.
