Main subject of this work characterisation of PPP projects and barriers that inhibit application of PPP projects in Czech Republic. First there are characterised main concepts as public sector and his mission in providing public goods and services. Attention is also paid to characterization of PPP projects and to the differences between providing public goods and services through PPP scheme or by traditional way. Afterwards there is described the whole process of preparation and implementation of a PPP project including the key moments, that can't be ignored. If ignored, it could cause incorrigible faults in the implementation phase. This work also includes analysis of interviews made with a view to find out, how are Czech citizens informed about PPP projects. The produces of this work serve as basis for setting strategy and policy, which should be observed. Otherwise there is a risk that the project won't be finished successfully with positive public evaluation.

Vstupem roku 2004 do Evropské unie získala Česká republika možnost čerpat finanční prostředky ze strukturálních fondů EU. Tato diplomová práce nastiňuje problematiku čerpání dotací v České republice z těchto fondů. Obsahuje jednak zhodnocení čerpání z minulého období 2004-2006 a analyzuje možnosti firemního sektoru v novém období 2007-2013. V práci jsou specifikovány jednotlivé operační programy vhodné pro firemní sektor a je zde uveden přehled postupu získání dotace. Práce obsahuje rovněž dotazníkové šetření a praktické zkušenosti firem.

This diploma thesis deals with loyalty and tools which could deepen the loyalty of customers. The thesis provides theoretical background of the theme and outlines essence of the customer loyalty for consequent proposition of tools for its creation. At the beginning of this thesis the conception of loyalty is supported by basic facts of marketing theory, e.g. marketing communication, marketing mix and brand. The thesis continues with essence of loyalty, aspects of loyalty, its drivers, possibilities of satisfaction and loyalty meassurement and effects of loyalty with focus on banking sector. Further this part defines the banking sector, specifics of banking product and developement trends in banking. Partially the influence of current economical crisis on customer loyalty is taken into account. Practical part is focused on description and practical examples of each tool which extends customer loyalty to bank institution in Czech republic and abroad as well. Tools are divided by marketing mix elements according to prevalent characteristics corresponding with the given element. Next are mentioned suggestions to proposition of new loyalty program. The thesis set 3 possible ways of future developement of customer loyalty creation.These ways are focus on simple program resembling to sales promotion, complex program creating real customer loyalty and focus on soft elements (e.g. service quality and pleasant surrounding). At the conclusion is given recommendation for future developement of customer loyalty creation in Česká spořitelna.

The theme of this thesis is financing, accounting and economy specifics of allowance organizations. The goal of this thesis is to prove that the activities of these organizations are not possible without the resources supplied from public budget. The theoretical part is dedicated to the non-profit sector and the definition of non-profit organizations. In more detail attends the thesis to the characteristics, financial relations and economy specifics of both types of allowance organizations -- founded by the state and by territorial authorities. The practical part is focused on the activity of a specific allowance organization in the field of social services. After the organisation is introduced follows an analysis of financial resources and its economy analysis throughout the period of five years.

Motivace dobrovolníků v organizaci Greenpeace / Motivation of volunteers at Greenpeace

The aim of my diploma thesis is to analyze the motivation of volunteers at Greenpeace. The theoretical part offers a consistent overview of theoretical propositions related to the chosen topic. In the practical part an empirical survey focused on two target groups was conducted. One target group is made up by volunteers from the Czech subsidiary of the international Greenpeace organization and the other target group is the Czech public. The most important goal of the survey was to get deeper insight into the motives, expectations and satisfaction of volunteers at Greenpeace and those who are active in other comparable organizations. On the basis of collected information similarities and differences between both target groups were identified and recommendations for employees of the Czech subsidiary of Greenpeace regarding the further cooperation with volunteers were formulated.

Metody vylepšování finančních výkazů evropských bank: problematické oblasti aplikace IFRS s jejich vliv na hospodářství / The Methods of Improvements of Financial Statements of European Banks: The Issues of IFRS And Its Influence on The Economy

This thesis deals with methods of improvement of financial statements of European banks and their impact on the economy. The financial statements are the principal information source used by external users when making economic decisions. The thesis is focused on analysis of impairment of financial assets and insufficient creation of provisions for credit losses, on faire value and amortized cost measurement of financial assets, macrohedging of interest rate risk, reporting of goodwill and on derecognition and transfer of financial assets. The thesis investigates major differences between US GAAP and IFRS. Initial hypothesis are set down at the beginning of each chapter. These are confirmed after the analysis of the academic literature, primary resources and empirical data. The thesis confirmed the principal assumption that financial reporting under IFRS provides to European banks several ways how to improve their financial statements, which contradicts to the requirements of fair and true view of economic situation of entities. Low-quality financial information can lead to instability of the financial markets, which does not contribute to the economic growth.

Studiens syfte Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra hur marknadsföringen från olika typer av resebolag speglar deras inställning och förhållningssätt till etiska dilemman samt att jämföra om eller hur de skiljer sig i frågan. Teoretiska referensramar Studiens slutsatser dras med stöd i Corporate social responsibility, hållbart agerande samt turismens etiska dilemman med code of conduct som främsta referens. Metod En kvalitativ forskning utifrån pusselbitsansatsen har gjorts med en deduktiv utgångspunkt. Kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer har använts för att samla in primärdata. Intervjuerna gjordes via telefon eller mejl, där även följdfrågor bifogats och svarats på efter vardera intervju. Empiri Svar från fem olika intervjuer på fyra olika resebolag samt en skribent i ämnet. Intervjufrågor och svar finns bifogat i bilagor och sammanfattat i resultatdelen. Slutsats Studien visar på stora skillnader i hur de olika resebolagen marknadsför sig, vilket verkar ha att göra med dels typen av resebolag och storleken på företaget. Vissa har ett proaktivt förhållningssätt till hållbart agerande och arbetar förebyggande med det, medan andra har ett mer reaktivt eller till och med defensivt förhållningssätt. Branschen har visat sig ha en tendens att utesluta viss information i sin marknadsföring, vilket verkar bero på att de visar det kunderna vill se. Det kunder inte ser, tas inte hänsyn till och det är därmed företagets ansvar att presentera på rätt sätt. Enligt vår studie finns det särskilda typdrag som utmärker resebolagens etiska ställningstaganden i deras marknadsföring, och dessa typdrag speglas även i resebolagens respektive framtidsvisioner. Gällande framtida forskning ser vi gärna att ämnet undersöks ytterligare fast mer koncentrerat, inriktat på endast en typ av resebolag. Även forskning ur konsumentperspektivet hade vi funnit intressant.
