Desenvolvimento do Sistema Informatizado de Educação Continuada em Enfermagem: construção de dados mínimos / Development of Computerized System for Continuing Education in Nursing: Construction of Minimum DataChristiane Pereira Martins Casteli 22 February 2011 (has links)
This study aimed to develop a computerized system of Continuing Education in Nursing (SIEC) in order to build minimum data and evaluate the data in the system, from the perspective of nurses specialists. This was an applied study, exploration and production technology. To develop the SIEC methodology was used based on the concept of the life cycle of prototyping. The SIEC was deposited into two phases: definition and development. The definition phase began with the planning stage, followed by definition and analysis of requirements for construction and culminated with the specification of system requirements. The development phase led to the set of requirements in a computerized information system. SIEC is presented in a minimum data set of the SEC with 435 data elements divided into seven categories: Professional, Teaching Activities, Organizational Structure, Institution, Scientific, Group Study and Evaluation. The construction of the minimum data set of SEC was performed by the selection of terms from the literature and practice of this service. With regard to assessment, stage of prototyping, the system underwent evaluation by means of administering a questionnaire to 07 nurses with specialist experience in teaching in the area of Nursing Administration and/or experience in the Service Continuing Education. The SIEC was positively evaluated by experts, who scored the relevance and priority of data elements over 71% [n = 5], mostly confirming the user\'s satisfaction with the content of the system, according to Brazilian Standard ISO/IEC 14598-1, indicating customer satisfaction when the product reaches the level of scores in the target range, in other words, a percentage less than 70%. However, 11 items were marked with a percentage of 57% [n = 4], which are: voter registration, insurance, mode, start date, end date, module, type, registration audit and value of training hours / student per day, Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and type of activity. This score shows the need for adequacy of the data elements to meet customer needs and service. It is concluded that the methodology adopted enabled the development of a computerized information system, from a minimum data set of the SEC, which enables the recording, organization, analysis and interpretation of data, with reporting, and can facilitate the monitoring and implementation of service improvements in both human resources and work processes within the care, teaching, research and management, bringing with them a language that meets the needs of its users.

Conceptualizing and investigating patterns of consumer behaviour towards in-home shoppingHogg, Margaret January 1995 (has links)
This research examines intermediate patterns of joint consumption whereby constellations, anti constellations and configurations are seen as representing patterns of consumption which lie between the traditional micro (product-centred) and macro (societal-centred) studies of consumption. A series of models are developed: of the relationship between individuals and consumption from a social psychological perspective of the formation of patterns of joint consumption and of the three forces which influence patterns of consumption: the symbolic-functional force (located in the product) the physiological-esteem-self-actualization force (located in individual needs) and the expressive-instrumental force (located in activities or behaviour). A two stage empirical study explores the content, structure and context of consumption patterns amongst mail order shoppers in the U.K. The quantitative stage involved the application of correspondence analysis to data extracted from the BMRBffGI database and the qualitative phase was a series of in-depth interviews with mail order industry marketing personnel. The findings confirmed the existence of three identifiable groups amongst mail order shoppers, with different intermediate patterns of joint consumption representing different sets of responses to the three forces which influence consumption and which had been modelled above. The research extends work on the grammar of consumption by developing a set of rules of combination for analyzing the structure and levels of joint consumption: constellations, anti constellations and configurations, which could be associated with the groups of mail order shoppers. The study concludes that products cohere around social roles and that interdependence exists at two levels, firstly, amongst the forces which influence consumption, and secondly, between consumption and the societal-cultural context. It was seen that functional and symbolic complementarities could be found in the intermediate patterns of joint consumption and that different combinatorial rules could be applied to the different levels of consumption patterns elicited for the various groups.

Using Tele-rehabilitation to Address Executive Dysfunction and to Promote Community Integration after Traumatic Brain Injury: A Pilot StudyNg, Edith Man Wai 24 August 2011 (has links)
Executive dysfunction can affect community integration in adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI). The Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach has shown some promise in promoting functional improvements in adults with executive dysfunctions post TBI. However, access to rehabilitation is often limited especially in rural communities. This study aimed to (1) investigate the feasibility of administering the CO-OP approach in a tele-rehabilitation format and (2) examine its impact on community integration and executive dysfunction. A pilot series of 3 case studies was conducted. Participants identified 5 goals; 3 were trained and 2 were untrained to allow examination of transfer. Outcome measures included the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure, the Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory-4 Participation Index, and the Dysexecutive Questionnaire. Descriptive analyses demonstrated goal achievement and transfer, suggesting it is feasible to implement the CO-OP approach in a tele-rehabilitation format. Community integration and executive dysfunction behaviours also showed trends towards improvement.

Vliv kvality mleziva na růst a zdravotní stav telatRAJTROVÁ, Aneta January 2018 (has links)
The thesis summarizes the importance of the quality of colostrum, its composition and impact on the growth and state of health of calves. Colostrum includes important substances necessary for the health of a calf. The value of overall protein in which the amount of immunoglobulins is reflected is a key indicator. It is important for the health of the calf that it receives sufficient amount of quality colostrum in time, gaining immunoglobulins necessary for the first weeks of life. Significant aspects include the quality of colostrum that we provide a calf with, the amount of colostrum consumed, technology, consistency and personnel responsibility, which reflect retrospectively during the inspection of colostrum nutrition of calves that can be carried out by several methods mentioned further. These aspects influence the state of health of calves, growth and many more indicators in the production that follows. In the work, I concentrated on these very aspects, the extent to which they interact as well as on the state of health of calves. The data that I was provided with by Ing. Barbora Šitnerová (principal livestock specialist of Agraspol Předmíř a.s.) was processed into tables and graphs from which statistically important results were learnt.

Teleaudiology: Clinical Outcomes from Adults with Hearing LossFedt, Lauren Alexandra, Fedt, Lauren Alexandra January 2017 (has links)
Outside of major metropolitan areas, Arizona has limited options for hearing healthcare. The Arizona Affordable Hearing Aid Task Force proposed the development of a statewide program to provide low-cost hearing aids and audiologic care to low-income residents. The purpose of this review was to determine the status of the literature on the clinical outcomes of teleaudiology services for evaluations and hearing aid fittings which could be used to serve inhabitants of rural counties and address the goals of the Task Force. A literature search was performed to identify articles with original research in teleaudiology in the areas of evaluation and treatment and yielded 234 results. After exclusion criteria were applied, there were 15 articles for review; 10 articles focused on audiological evaluation and 5 articles focused on verification, validation, and counseling for hearing aid fittings. Evaluation-related articles showed that pure-tone air conduction testing was generally within the ± 5 dB acceptable range of variability, with little evidence on bone conduction or speech testing reliability. Studies reporting real-ear measurements with probe microphones were shown to yield similar results in traditional and teleaudiology fitting sessions and validation measures documented similar or better outcomes from teleaudiology fittings. Based on the literature, it is concluded that the use of teleaudiology is feasible for hearing aid fittings and counseling in rural areas, if associated barriers related to costs and limitations related to the availability of technology are overcome.
