Využití vybraných logistický metod ve výrobním podniku / The usage of selected logistic methods in the manufacturing concern

KOHOUTOVÁ, Anna January 2008 (has links)
The main aim of this work was to rate the usage of selected logistic methods and introduction of the operating system Kanban to the production line in the project {\clqq}C214 Top Roll`` of the company Faurecia Automotive Czech Republic, s.r.o, Interior Systems. A minor aim then was to find out the knowledge level of the Kanban method. Methodics Hypotheses: 1.The logistic flows used in the Faurecia company already function sufficiently enough, the proof of which is the stabilised production. 2.Using the operating system Kanban for functioning production, logistics and the whole company Faurecia is rather advantageous. 3.Training all the employees is a vital part in the process of introducing the operating system Kamban. Methods: deducion, situation analysis - collection of information, interviews, survey, questioning brief, modeling Structure of the practical part is following: company profile, character of pruduction and setting of the main logistical flows, determination of zones and stock sectors, process implementation and using of Kanban in the production line "C214 Top Roll". The first hypothesis can be confirmed by the situational analysis which evaluates the processing and logistic method. The individual methods {\clqq}met`` or {\clqq}nearly met`` the demands and because all the methods together partake of the production and the production has provided very good results in the previous months, we can consider the production being stabilised. The second can also be affirmed. If the production on a particular assembly line is stabilised, it is possible to introduce the Kanban method. Why not to use it if a there is a great advantage of this method in simplicity and lower production supplies which result in decreasing the total costs? It is beneficial for all participating on the production and for the Faurecia company as a whole. Third hypothesis can be confirmed as well. There has been a survey based on short questionaires and the knowledge of working and using the Kanban has been found inadequate. The best form of providing all the important information will be a training as a part of the process of introducing and using the Kanban method. Both aims have been resulted in stating possible recommendations and improvement suggestions: - production is stabilized, Kanban is possible to apply on 1.9. 2008 - training is necessary, meeting of responsible persons, control, messing, measures, - training of current and new workers, - motivation, communication improve, - system of regural records about information and control of chief (material and production planning)

The Implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) InManufacturing Company : A Case Study of XYZ Plastics Manufacturing Company in Nigerian

Labiyi, Femi Gbenga January 2019 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in Nigeria Plastics Manufacturing Company. Manufacturing companies round the world pay huge amount of money for purchasing new equipments to boost their production however nothing or little is done to achieve or obtain full output from the machine for which it is intended to do. Small losses in time or deviations from planned or calculated capability are taken as usual machine performance. But currently as a result of improved capability levels and demand of quality product at lower prices, purchasing latest machine/equipment is not a way out unless it is completely used. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a method that involve everybody totally, from high management to all workers to implement a complete maintenance program for all machine/equipment during its life. This method ends up in most effectiveness of tools, equipment, virtuously improved workers, tidy up working area, neat and clean working environment. A structure is going to be developed with the potential of evaluating the impact of implementing total productive maintenance within. By evaluating the result or outcome of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), manufacturing companies can create sensible/smart decisions to improve the potency and standard of the machine, equipment and also the product on XYZ Plastics Manufacturing Company in Nigerian.

Modelo operacional Lean Manufacturing para incrementar la eficiencia en las empresas del sector metalmecánico

Avila Chumpisuca, Roberto Esteban, Gamarra Conder, Ana Paula 03 July 2020 (has links)
In Peru, one of the most important links in the production chain is the metalworking sector, due to the contribution to national GDP of 16.5% and the generation of millions of jobs. However, recent statistical studies have shown that Peruvian metalworking companies have a production capacity of 40.6%, mainly due to operational deficiencies such as low availability of machines, high setup times and production waste. The projected demand cannot be satisfied and the income to the country cannot be generated because of this problem. Therefore, this research offers a solution by applying an operational efficiency model, which combines Lean Manufacturing tools, such as SMED, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5s on the Kaizen methodology. There are inputs and output in the model like production data, indicators, support techniques and new procedures. The model was validated in a metalworking company, where the OEE was improved by 8%, set up time was reduced by 21% and the rate of defective products in process was decreased by 20%. This new industrial solution will allow companies in the metalworking sector to be more competitive in the market and change to their different needs. / Trabajo de investigación

Návrh modelu integrace nástrojů štíhlé výroby se systémem environmentálního managementu / The suggestion of the model of integration of lean manufacturing tools with environmental management system

Marcolová Klímková, Markéta January 2013 (has links)
The dissertation thesis is focused on increase of the efficiency of production processes in Czech companies, whose main work focus is electric motor production with usage of the lean manufacturing tools with the environmental management system. The main reason for choosing this topic were results of prime study of the target group of companies which has proved that companies do have trouble not just with integration but especially with implementation of the lean manufacturing methods. This is the reason why concrete conditions and basic principles need to be defined to show how to proceed. The objective of this dissertation thesis is to suggest the model of integration of lean manufacturing tools with optional environmental management tool and as the lean manufacturing tools were chosen methods of lean management in production and as an optional environmental tool was chosen system of environmental management based on norm ISO 14 001. For this area of interest the primary and secondary research was used. Based on knowledge from detailed research of Czech and foreign literary sources a survey and guided interview was started with companies, which are focused on electric motor production. The thesis contains a detailed evaluation of empirical research with testing of stated hypothesis, based on which the verbal model of the integration of the lean manufacturing tools with the environmental management system is assembled. The implantation based on the suggested verbal model of the integration in the company should lead not just to the relationship improvement between the company and the environment but also to better understanding of the relationship of two independent kinds of company management leading to saving money, working environment improvement, productivity increase or ecological onus decrease. The benefits can be seen in theoretical, practical and also pedagogical level.

The fair dealing doctrine in respect of digital books

Verhoef, Gerardus 05 March 2019 (has links)
Copyright is essentially the right of the rightsholder of an original work to prohibit others from making or distributing unauthorised copies of his or her work. More specifically for this dissertation, when an end user deals with digital content, one of the aims of copyright becomes the balancing of the conflicting interests in ‘exclusivity’ on the one hand, and in ‘access to information’ on the other. Exclusivity is achieved by the rightsholders through technological protection measures to protect their commercial interests. Access to information is achieved where works are available to the general public without payment and technological protection measures and where the digital content is not directly marketed for commercial gain. Exclusivity and access to information are two conflicting cultures surrounding copyright in the digital era. It is submitted that unless we find a socio-economic-legal way for the dynamic coexistence of these two conflicting cultures by means of fair dealing, the culture of exclusivity will eventually dominate fair access to information. The transient nature of digital content means that rightsholders have little or no control over their works once the end user has obtained a legal digital copy of the work. The right ‘to prohibit’ end users from copying and distributing unauthorised copies is, therefore, largely meaningless unless a legal or other solution can be found to discourage end users from the unauthorised reproduction and distribution of unauthorised copies of the work. Currently, technological protection measures are used to manage such digital rights because legal permissions within the doctrine of fair dealing for works in printed (analogue) format are inadequate. It is, however, submitted that a legal solution to discourage end users from copying and distributing unauthorised copies rests on two pillars. Firstly, the solution must be embedded in state-of-the-art digital rights management systems and secondly the business model used by publishers, and academic publishers in particular, should change fundamentally from a business-to-consumer model to a business-to-business model. Empirical evidence shows that the printing of e-content will continue to be relevant far into the future. Therefore, the management of fair dealing to allow for the printing of digital content will become increasingly important at educational institutions that use e-books as prescribed course material. It is submitted that although the origination cost of print editions and e-books correspond, the relatively high retail price of e-books appears to be based on the fact that academic publishers of digital content do not have the legal or digital rights management tools to manage the challenges arising from the fair dealing doctrine. The observation that academic publishers are reluctant to grant collecting societies mandates to manage the distribution of digital content, and/or the right to manage the authorised reproduction (printing) of the digital content, supports this hypothesis. Ultimately, with technologies at our disposal, the fair use of content in digital and print format can be achieved because it should simply be cheaper to comply with copyright laws than to make unauthorised digital or printed copies of content that our society desperately needs to make South Africa a winning nation. / Mercantile Law / LL. Systém řízení nákladů na kvalitu ve vybraném podniku / The system of quality costs management in the chosen company

TONDLOVÁ, Kateřina January 2012 (has links)
The quality of products is the biggest competitive advantage that a company can achieve. The definition states that quality is the degree of compliance requirement with a set of inherent characteristics. The importance of quality have very increased in recent years - quality is a decisive factor for stable economic growth of enterprises, management quality is the most important protective factor of the loss of markets, quality is a major source of saving materials and energy, the quality affects of macroeconomic indicators, the quality is a limiting factor for the sustainable development , quality and consumer protection are connected vessels. Quality costs are the total costs incurred by producers, users and companies associated with the quality of the product. The quality costs of the manufacturer is divided into four basic groups: the costs of prevention, assessment, costs of external defects and internal defects.
