Theophostic Prayer Ministry (TPM) : 'n prakties-teologiese beoordeling / Johannes Urbanus Botha

Botha, Johannes Urbanus January 2008 (has links)
Theophostic Prayer Ministry (TPM) is an unparalleled method of inner healing which was developed in 1996 by Dr. Ed Smith of Campbellsville, Kentucky. The term Theophostic is formed by a combination of two Greek words, namely Theos (God) and phos (light). God's light refers to the central aspect of the ministry during which God gives his light to the counselee in order to expose the emotional wounds from the person's past and to heal it. TPM became known as a method which is exceptionally effective in treating trauma and experience-based problems. Several evaluators of TPM, however, raise questions concerning the doctrinal and philosophical soundness of the base of TPM's theory and practice. Exponents of the anti-psychology movement, like Martin and Deidre Bobgan, are exceedingly condemning in their critique of TPM, and particularly the fact that Smith probably had used insights, concepts and techniques from psychology. In researching the literature on the subject, it was found that the reformed pastoral ministry is relatively lacking in theoretical reflection on and practical implementation of the ministry of inner healing, TPM included. The first main purpose of the research was to scientifically determine whether the doctrinal and philosophical points of departure as well as practice of TPM were sound according to the reformative Scriptural standard. Should the research data indicate that TPM is acceptable in this respect, then the reformed pastoral practice have found at least one method of inner healing to make use of. Should the research data point to the contrary, then the necessary corrections can be done accordingly. The second main purpose of the research was to determine how the theory, practice and even context of TPM can possibly be served by the new light which the research may shed upon it. In the research methodology it is decided to firstly summarize the practical theory of TPM. This was followed on a meta-theoretical level by a qualitative empirical research on TPM, as well as a comparative study on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evenly highly successful psychotherapeutic treatment method for trauma and experience-based problems. In a third meta-theoretical chapter TPM and some of its critics are evaluated in accordance with the Philosophy of the Cosmonomic Idea. Following that, the data of the meta-theoretical chapters were compared in a hermeneutical way with the first practical theory of TPM and all its critique, as well as the reformative theological tradition. The final conclusions of the research indicate that TPM can be recommended to the reformed pastoral ministry as a reformative Scripturally sound method for inner healing and that the TPM theory, practice and context can be improved on several points as has been suggested in the study. / Thesis (Ph.D. (Pastoral))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2009.

Reducción del número de devoluciones en empresas del sector gráfico mediante la aplicación de herramientas del Pensamiento Esbelto / Reduction in the number of returns in companies in the Printing Sector through the Application of Lean Manufacturing Tools

Conde Muñasqui, Jennifer Lizzet, Gonzalez Vasquez, Denis Alexander 13 November 2020 (has links)
The company under study belonging to the graphic industry sector presented a high number of returns in 2016 compared to other years. The number of returns was 67, each representing a production batch ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 products. These refunds generated an expense of 581,960 soles, which represents 12.2% of the profits for that year. This problem is related to lack of training, high employee turnover, delayed preventive maintenance, lack of procedures and disorder in work areas. The objective of the work was to reduce the high number of returns with the application of tools of the Lean Manufacturing methodology. The validation of the project was through the implementation of a pilot in the finishing area where the 5S, the TPM and the standardized work, tools of the aforementioned methodology, were implemented. The results obtained from the pilot implementation, carried out between January and April 2018, were favorable for the project. Returns were reduced by 28% and return expenses by 47%, compared to data from January to April 2016 and 2017. / Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional

Leveraging Industry 4.0 : Value Creation Through Improved Manufacturing Productivity / Realisering av Industri 4.0 : Ökat värdeskapande genom högre produktivitet inom tillverkningsindustrin.

Melander, Anton, Lewenhaupt, Adam January 2019 (has links)
Industry 4.0 is a collective name for several technological innovations that, when combined, among other things, provide an exponential potential for increased operational excellence in manufacturing. This thesis digs down into which technologies that are relevant in the context of predictive maintenance and how these can be integrated into existing theory in order to create value through increased e↵ectiveness. The primary findings can be condensed down into one general principal - uniformity. In order to leverage industry 4.0, and through it achieve a higher level of automatization, all data flow must be as canonical as possible. This is what allows both for bi-directional communication at scale, and higher-level decisionmaking algorithms to be deployed over a wide range of hardware.

Neves, Paulo de Tarso 21 October 2011 (has links)
Brazil is the largest sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) producer in the world. Sugarcane is the raw material for sugar, alcohol and bioelectricity (from biomass) production. In mills, the harvesting system is the heaviest issue in the budget including the agriculture area. It is worth mentioning that according to the legal demands and the lowest cost of mechanized cut in comparison with other methods, the area has invested in new technology and new management models for such operation. Management in all its stages (cutting, loading and transportation) has as main goal to make the system more efficient and fulfill the industrial unit raw-material needs. With the sole purpose to achieve excellence in production and quality of mechanized harvesting, mills can use different methods or management programs. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is introduced as a management technique, working in the organizational area, in peoples behavior, in the way they react, face and solve a problem, not just in maintenance, but with all workers directly involved in production process. In such context, the purpose of the following study was the use of the TPM in the harvesting operation in a sugar mill. Performance indicators during three crops are included: 2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011. The obtained results confirmed that such method is a feasible management method for the proposed application of this study.

This thesis presents a new proposal for load pre-dispatch considering the technical conditions of the engines of thermoelectric power plants by combining several maintenance and diagnostic techniques and using computational intelligence based on fuzzy logic. Diagnosis of the technical conditions of the engines is done using lubricant analysis, vibration analysis, and thermography. With this data and with the statistical analysis it is possible to predict when an engine can fail and consider this in the load pre-dispatch. To increase engine reliability and power supply, a Maintenance Management Program (MMP) is developed using management tools, applying only 4 TPM (Total Predictive Maintenance) pillars and combined them with predictive maintenance and diagnostics, thus allowing to reduce failures of plant equipment. Some results achieved after the implementation are: reduction of the annual cost of maintenance, reduction of corrective maintenance, increase of the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and decrease of MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) in all areas. In addition, the proposed pre-dispatch scheme ensures the demanded power with a high degree of reliability and quality.

Lia, Giuseppe 12 December 2005 (has links) (PDF)
