Poderes, dizeres e instituições nas respostas de professores de língua portuguesa em situação de formação / Power, speeches and institutions in the pre-service Portuguese Language teachers responses

Bottega, Rita Maria Decarli 12 July 2010 (has links)
The research investigates what Portuguese Language teachers of Primary Level from some cities in the West of Parana present as difficulties to teach and learn the subject, relating the speeches of the teachers with certain authorities and institutions to utter discourses about the teaching of Portuguese language. The discursive answers written by the teachers were collected in situation of work formation and to relate them to speeches and institutions will be used a few books, result of academic productions, the National Curriculum Parameter and didactic books. The objectives are articulated to the general question of research: how or in what extent what the teacher presents as difficulties it is related to knowledge about the teaching of Portuguese circulating through the pedagogical environment, which the teachers have access in the workplace and their education? As theoretical background will be used some basic concepts belonging to Discourse Analysis of the French line, among them the one of discourse, imaginary formations, interdiscourse, ideological formation (PÊCHEUX, 1990, 1997); discursive formations and control of discourses (Foucault, 1997 , 1998); configuration about teaching formation (SOUZA, 2006); presentation modes of discourse (Fernandez, 2004) and specificities related to the discourse and academic knowledge (CHAUI, 1997, 2003 and Barzotto, 2009). The performed analysis allows: the problematic about the configuration and the presence of the discourse of difficulty in teaching, the distinction between a functional model of teaching formation and research-formation, the localization of modes of expressing present in the answers, configured as prescriptive discourse, of complaint and merged, which denotes the presence of \"old and new\" while proposal for teaching, the reference among the modes of expressing with some of the contents present in the teachers answers, allowing to deduce from them toward institutions that also utter discourses about teaching and work as a Portuguesa Language teacher.

Para compor o quadro de referenci / The present thesis is the result of a research developed in the intervention movement of the “Project of Literacy for Youngsters and Adults in the University – PROAJAUNIPLAC. The objectives of this investigation were: a – to study the development of reading and writing and its social appropriation by youngsters and adults in a determined process of literacy; b - to reflect the process of formation of those educators who were engaged in the project. The idea, defended in this work, is that the intersection between the space of formation and the constitution of literacy practices intensify the possibilities of a formative process in concrete contexts of the formative educational practice, overcoming an naive, and not contextualized knowledge of the reality. Methodologically, this study of a qualitative nature was accomplished making use of some theoretical assumptions of the ethnographic work. During the investigation, individual and collective interviews were used, besides observations of activities in the co

Assis, Amanda Dória de January 2017 (has links)
This study aims to understand how the specialized Physical Education (PE) teachers form their teaching work in the 1st cycle in two schools of the municipal education system of Porto Alegre. In this investigation, a qualitative research with an ethnographic theoretical and methodological approach, the research sources were the official documents of the schools; notes taken in the field diary about the remembrances of the participant observation; transcription of the semi-structured interviews held with the PE teachers. The discussions are rooted in the cultural studies perspective, under a post-structuralist approach, mainly under the approaches inspired by the ideas of Michel Foucault. Based on that, in the first analytic chapter, the teaching culture about the routines, the beliefs, the practices, and the relations between the teachers that form the 1st cycle. The discussions on this chapter were based on stated rhetorical, especially questioning the term “the kids”, used on both schools to refer to the students of the 1st cycle. The occurrence of this expression seems to be linked to the idealization of the childhood, what also constitutes beliefs and practices related to the “kids” education, such as: educate with love, be strict, elaborate different festive activities. In this context, working with the “kid” implicate to “find a way to make it” In the second analytic chapter, questions related to the purposes of the 1st cycle were discussed. I questioned the strong external demand on schools to the development of the literacy in the 1st cycle and how this crosses the legitimacy on the other curricular components, that are set in lower relevance over the necessity to promote literacy in a determined area-period. In this literacy cycle, the understand of the PE that seems most legitimate, in the researched schools, is based on the psychomotor and developmental slopes. With this path of discussions, this question may give hints to understand how the teaching work of the PE teacher, that seems to be crossed by an intersection of speeches that are stated in the scholar culture, especially on the discourses related to the childhood. When indicated that certain truths were being produced about the teaching work on the 1st cycle and their truly effects, it is possible to think in escape routes; innovative ways to look at, to think and to place oneself as a teacher in the 1st cycle with the “kids”.

Abordagem ideolÃgica da representaÃÃo social de professores universitÃrios sobre a formaÃÃo de docentes de E/LE / Ideological approach of social representation of academics on the training of teachers of E / LE

CÃcero AnastÃcio AraÃjo de Miranda 10 December 2012 (has links)
This research has the objective of analyzing the social representation (SR) that university teachers from a Cearà public university make around the docent formation of Spanish as Foreign Language (SFL) teachers. Its focus is the ideological constitution of such representation evidenced on the linguistics structures of the discourse. To the consecution of the objective, we have based our considerations in one articulation among Social Representation Theory, particularly the observations of Moscovici (1978, 2009), Doise (1992), Jodelet (2001) and Harrà (2001); the Social Critic Study of the Discourse proposed by van Dijk (2003, 2008a), and, yet, the Applied Linguistic, from the works of Moita Lopes (1996) and Almeida Filho (2011). The data base has been generated by the application of free association of words and lexical items hierarchization techniques; by open questions questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. To proceed the analysis of the data, we have employed the purposes of Harrà (2001) who suggests the lexicon as a vector of the SR and Critical Analysis of Discourse, in a ideological focus, as suggested by van Dijk (2003, 2008a), within of your Social Critic Study of the Discourse. The category we used was the âDiscourse Meaningâ, specified in the subcategory of the recurrent âThemesâ in the text and speech of the participants. The analyses have evidenced that the subjects conceive the formation in two directions: 1. The docent formation means to develop in the students the knowledge of formal linguistics aspects and, 2. Teachers formation is equivalent to the development, in the students, of the knowledge of didactic and language teaching methodology. Although the first representation is the most salient one, once its linguistics elements were more recurrent pointing into its centrality in the figurative core. Regarding the ideology which underlies this comprehension, it has been evidenced that the teachers share a progressive vision of education, that, as asserts Mascia (1999), intends to transpose the subject from an ignorant situation to the wisdom, modifying not only his individuality, but his social environment as well. The teacherâs speech has stressed, yet, a post-modernist vision. This understanding has revealed, equally, a marketing vision of the formation, according to what the period of the university is comprehended as the preparation to the professional labor performance. It has been evidenced, as well, a discourse marked by the power structures, as proposed by van Dijk (2008a), according to what the dominant groups (university teachers) aim to legitimize coercively its position as the prevailing one, before the dominated groups (students); so that reproduces its SR as legitimated set, as truth valor. The study offers, finally, elements to reflect alternatives and paths to eventual transformations of the SFL docent formation practices, besides it contributes to studies that investigate the relation among ideology, discourse ant social representation, as those components affect each other mutually.

[en] DIGITAL TECNOLOGIES AND TEACHING PRACTICE: APPROPRIATON CONTEXTS AND POSSIBLE TRAJECTORIES / [pt] TECNOLOGIAS DIGITAIS E PRÁTICA DOCENTE: CONTEXTOS DE APROPRIAÇÃO E TRAJETÓRIAS POSSÍVEIS

GUSTAVO TARANTO MALHEIROS 05 December 2017 (has links)
[en] This work aims at identifying the trajectory of university professors who managed to integrate digital technologies in their teaching practice. To this end, we selected as a sample a group of professors from public universities in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Initially, we present a revision of the literature on the appropriation concept, in addition to an explanation on how this concept applies to the digital technologies. Subsequently, we elaborate a matrix to identify the professors, within the selected corpus, who could appropriate digital technologies in their educational practices. With this purpose, we consider the classes conducted in the Cederj Consortium online platform, based on the premise that distance education classes are more likely to use digital technologies. After identifying these professors, we propose a qualitative research, using the instrument of face-to-face semistructured interviews to collect the data, followed by a content analysis aiming to find out about their trajectories. We conclude that the professors trajectories were not continuous, but had specific landmarks, which way about an evolution of the learning process in relationship to technologies, the need to overcome obstacles in the appropriation process; and the ineffability. The latter being a situation in which the object is appropriated in a way that it becomes impossible to describe the process.

Formação docente e inclusão digital : do processo de emersão tecnológica de professores

Teixeira, Adriano Canabarro January 2005 (has links)
From reflections concerning the implications of the potentialities of the situation of generalized connection instituted in the modern society, of the recognition of a globalization process that tends to formatting the technologies of net in the technologies of access to the individuals and of the existence of an education model that, when ignoring the potential of the net technologies and its underlying logic, prints the individuals the mark of the passivity, the upright and the reproduction, it points to an urgency of politician-conceptual magnifying of the processes of digital inclusion, whose base is the creation of a net culture. Parting from this contextualization, this thesis describe the analysis process of the Technological Emersion of Professors project, carried through together a group of pupils of the courses of teachers formation of the University of Passo Fundo in the year of 2003. Inside of a proposal of participant research, one consisted in an experience of based teaching formation in the logic of the nets. The development of this experience supplies subsidies to the analysis of its possible contribution to the construction of a culture equivalent and its relevancy as theoretician-conceptual base of proposals in the area of educative computer science.

[en] THE INITIAL PROFESSORS FORMATION AND THE UNIVERSITY: SOME VIEWS ABOUT THE HISTORY TEACHING DEGREES AT THE RIO DE JANEIRO STATE UNIVERSITY / [pt] A FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE PROFESSORS E A UNIVERSIDADE: ALGUNS OLHARES SOBRE AS LICENCIATURAS EM HISTÓRIA NA UNIVERSIDADE DO ESTADO DO RIO DE JANEIRO

FLAVIA REGINA OLIVEIRA RAMOS 09 November 2018 (has links)
[en] This dissertation has the main purpose of reflecting about how the university is preparing their future teachers of basic education. To do so, we have investigated the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), through the History s teaching courses (Maracanã and São Gonçalo unities). In the first place, we have analyzed how this educational institution handles, at the same moment, with a directed faculty to the teachers preparation (Teachers formation faculty; São Gonçalos unity) and another one directed to the bachelor s degree and teaching degree (Philosophy and Human Sciences Institute; Maracanã Unity). Therefore, we have investigated the teaching degrees problems, based on the involved employees’ opinions from the education and history fields, since we understand that the initial teachers formation is influenced by both areas in the university context. Under those circumstances, it is important to identify the different conceptions about teaching formation at the university, based on the university professors vision. Besides, we also try to consider the scientific field as a place of disputes and power. In this context, we apply the concepts of academization (FORMOSINHO, 2009); professors identity crisis (CANÁRIO, 2005); knowledge and teachers practices (TARDIF, 2014); teaching professionalization (PERRENOUD, 1993) and the university as a dispute space (BOURDIEU, 1993a, 1993b, 2004). This literature is used for the purpose of reflecting about the teaching courses. The adopted methodology for the data collection was the field research. Besides, the analysis method was the discursive textual analysis (MORAES, 2003). The data was collected through the interview and documents analysis. The research hypothesis was: in order to happen an initial transformation at the teaching courses, it is important a strong culture of teachers formation at the university. The formers basic education experience and the teaching-research are the ground of this change. / This study aims to understand how the specialized Physical Education (PE) teachers form their teaching work in the 1st cycle in two schools of the municipal education system of Porto Alegre.
