In that context, this study intend to contribute with the understanding of the growing process of the brazilian consultant field, its acting forms and its relationship with the other organizations. Particularly, analysing the SEBRAE-SP´s acting form, with a parallel between its goals and its posicional manners in the face of other organizations. That is why, it is necessary to comprehend how much that ocurried changes in the acting forms of the institution in the past few decads, are a reflexion of a new form of interaction with the management consultant field. / Em todo o mundo, as mudanças econômicas, incrementadas pelo avanço da tecnologia de informação e pela popularização de métodos gerenciais básicos, associada ao processo de desindustrialização e à expansão do setor de serviços, fizeram com que as micro empresas e as empresas de pequeno porte assumissem um papel de destaque nas economias de diversos países, sendo responsáveis por grande parte da geração de emprego e renda. Dentro desse contexto, o presente estudo pretende contribuir com o entendimento do processo de crescimento do mercado de consultoria brasileiro, suas formas de atuação e o relacionamento com as demais organizações, particularmente analisando a atuação da instituição do SEBRAE-SP, traçando um paralelo entre seus objetivos e sua maneira de se posicionar perante as outras organizações. Para isso, faz-se necessário compreender em que medida as mudanças ocorridas nas formas de atuação da instituição nas últimas décadas são um reflexo de uma nova interação com o espaço de consultoria.

Poradenské a výcvikové centrum asistenčních psů / Consulting and training centre of assistant dogs

A lot of handicapped people need help while meeting their everyday needs provided by another person. Not only their family members, any close people, specialists and non-profit organisations can provide them with needful help but also an assistance dog that can become a companion and a friend as well. Those for disabled people specially trained dogs may be helpful with such a handicapped person to cope better with his/her daily life. At present, there are four organisations in the Czech Republic which are engaged in the training of assistance dogs. Generally those organisations are non-government and no-profit institutions. It is this Work{\crq}s objective to show and present the conditions regarding social consultancy for handicapped people in relation to the assistance dogs and to make out a project design for a Counselling and Training Centre of Assistance Dogs whereas the design would appropriately complete the already existing net of training centres of assistance dogs and social services for disabled people. A research was performed which served as a basis to draw up the project design of Counselling and Training Centre of Assistance Dogs and it resulted from that the handicapped people who possess an assistance dog had all available information how to procure a dog and how to finance the dog{\crq}s training; they were provided with advice and they are satisfied with the present training centres services. The disabled people who don{\crq}t possess an assistance dog are short of information about such a possibility and they don{\crq}t actually know who to address to in case if they are interested in an assistance dog. Further, it resulted from the research that more than a half of the enquired organisations, which provide social services, don{\crq}t supply their clients with any information about the assistance dogs and related topics. Based on those results I worked out a proposal of the Counselling and Training Centre of Assistance Dogs which could enhance the existing net of services in relation to the assistance dogs. This Centre will deal with special social consultancy, training of assistance dogs and an enlightening activity. The research results also demonstrate that it is necessary in terms of such a Centre to co-operate with organisations which provide social services to handicapped people and to do the enlightening activity with general public.

Avaliação da influência da consultoria em iniciativas da fase Fuzzy Front End / Evaluation of the influence of the consultancy in the Fuzzy Front End initiatives

O presente trabalho tem como principal objetivo estudar a influência da consultoria em iniciativas de Fuzzy Front End (FFE). Para tanto, conceituam-se os principais constructos que sustentam a análise, quais sejam: FFE, Nebulosidade, Modelo de Gestão de FFE e Modelo de Tomada de Decisão. Com o intuito de entender melhor o fenômeno em questão, o FFE, avalia-se, através de revisão bibliográfica, quais sãos os principais elementos capacitadores em gestão de FFE para os processos de inovação de produtos em empresas. Nesse sentido, foi elaborado um modelo de gestão FFE, com base em modelo preexistente, aprimorado com modelos de tomada de decisão. Foram empregados a metodologia de Estudo de Caso e o método de Extended Case Method, aplicado a consultorias que executam iniciativas de FFE em empresas clientes. A questão de pesquisa a ser respondida foi: Qual a influência das consultorias em iniciativas de FFE de empresas clientes? Foi construído também um modelo de geração de ideia para entender a gênese do surgimento da ideia em iniciativas de FFE. Da mesma forma, foi realizado o mapeamento do FFE dentro da ciência da administração, mostrando que o FFE deve ser entendido como o motor de geração e seleção de ideias para quaisquer tipos de mudança, e, para isso, recorreu-se à Teoria da Decisão, a fim de fazer a integração do FFE com os demais temas de ciências. Como resultado, este trabalho traz uma visão do FFE, verificando a aplicabilidade prática dos elementos capacitadores levantados na revisão da literatura; um modelo de gestão da dinâmica de interação e geração de competência entre consultorias e empresas clientes; bem como o reconhecimento do valor gerado pelas consultorias em iniciativas de FFE. / The main objective of this work is to study the influence of consulting on Fuzzy Front End initiatives (FFE). For this, the main constructs that support the analysis are: FFE, Fuzziness, FFE Management Model, Decision Making Model and Consulting. In order to better understand the phenomenon in question, the FFE, it is evaluated, through a bibliographic review, which are the main enablers in FFE management for the processes of product innovation in companies. In this sense, an FFE management model was elaborated, based on a preexisting model, improved with decision-making models. We used the Case Study methodology and the Extended Case Method, applied to consultancies that execute FFE initiatives in client companies. The research question is: What is the influence of consulting companies in FFE of client\'s enterprises? A model of idea generation was also designed to understand the genesis of the idea\'s emergence in FFE initiatives. In the same way, the mapping of the FFE within the science of administration was carried out, showing that the FFE should be understood as the engine of generation and selection of ideas for any type of change, and for this, we used Decision Theory, In order to integrate the FFE with other science subjects. As a result, this work brings a complete view of the FFE, verifying the practical applicability of the enablers in the literature; A management model of interaction dynamics and competence generation between consultancies and client companies; as well as the recognition of the value generated by consultancies in FFE initiatives.

Trabalho imaterial e subjetividade em atividades de auditoria e consultoria

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os efeitos do trabalho na vida de consultores e auditores de empresas multinacionais prestadoras de serviços de consultoria e auditoria. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter exploratóriodescritivo, que contou com a participação de 12 consultores/auditores que trabalham ou trabalharam em uma ou mais das quatro grandes empresas multinacionais de auditoria e consultoria independente, mais conhecidas como BIG FOUR (grandes quatro). A coleta de dados deu-se por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, que foram analisadas à luz do referencial teórico principalmente dos seguintes autores: Bauman. Sennett, Lazzarato e Negri com relação ao trabalho imaterial e transformações do mundo do trabalho. Harvey, Pelbart, Bauman com relação aos tempos, medos e fragilidades das relações humanas. Dejours, Guattari e Rolnik, Pelbart e Bauman com relação aos modos de subjetivação. Como resultado deste estudo tem-se que: há uma indissociação entre a vida pessoal e a vida profissional do funcionário, e que esta tem precedência sobre a outra. E assim sua vida tanto profissional, quanto pessoal é determinada pelo trabalho. Quem dita quando e onde o funcionário deve estar é a empresa, tirando do sujeito a liberdade de ir e vir. Outro efeito constantemente lamentado pelos entrevistados é a ausência do convívio familiar, que foi quase sempre a resposta para o que trás sofrimento no trabalho. O capital demanda que a organização seja mais importante do que a instituição família, e a principal conseqüência deste efeito é que o sujeito aliena-se por pressão do trabalho, do convívio e da formação dos filhos, fragilizando os laços familiares. Outro efeito experimentado pelos auditores/consultores é o sentimento de estar sempre “devedor” decorrente da demanda por aprimoramento continuado. This exploratory-descriptive qualitative analysis counted on the participation of 12 auditors/consultants who work or had worked in one or more of the four biggest multinational auditing and consulting independent companies, as well known as BIG FOUR. To fulfill such objective, information had been collected through semistructured interviews. Data analysis was achieved based on the pertinent theoretic referential, mainly of the following authors: Bauman. Sennett, Lazzarato and Negri as regards immaterial work and transformations of the world of the work. Harvey, Pelbart, Bauman as regards fears and fragilities of the human being relations. Dejours, Guattari and Rolnik, Pelbart and Bauman as regards subjectivity. The results of this research indicate that: it is not possible detach personal from professional life, and the professional life takes precedence over personal life. Because of that, worker’s professional and personal lives are determined by the job’s necessity. The company usually establishes when and where the worker shall be, taking away his freedom and his ability to decide where he wants to go. Another consequence of the job description is the absence of the family contact, which was the most frequent answer to the question about distress at work. The wealth demands that the job becomes more important then the family institution and the main consequence of that is that the individual becomes alienated from the family’s social contact and from the children development, weakening the family’s bond. Another consequence experienced by workers is the feeling that the individual is always “in debt”, which is a result of the continuous demand for perfection.

Visando explorar como as empresas de consultoria especializadas em avaliação de impacto ambiental promovem a gestão do conhecimento, foram levantadas práticas adotadas por oito empresas atuantes neste ramo. O estudo procurou verificar se há relação entre a classificação das empresas no contínuo de Maister (1997) com as práticas e ferramentas propostas por Silva (2004), fundamentadas, por sua vez, no ciclo de aprendizado de Nonaka e Takeuchi (1995), com os repositórios de conhecimento utilizados pelas empresas e com suas experiências relacionadas à criação, troca e retenção de conhecimento. Utiliza-se como método de pesquisa a aplicação de entrevistas qualitativas com integrantes chaves destas organizações. Conclui-se que o nível de diversificação de atuação das consultorias, em relação a mercados e territórios, pode indicar quais ferramentas de GC são mais apropriadas para essas organizações. / In order to explore how environmental consulting companies specialized in environmental impact assessments promote knowledge management, practices adopted by companies operating in this field were raised. The study attempts to verify whether there is relationship between the classification of companies in the Maisters continuous (1997) and the practices and tools proposed by Silva (2004), based in turn in the cycle of learning proposed by Nonaka and Takeuchi (1995), with the knowledge repositories used by companies and their experiences related to knowledge creation, exchange and retention. It is used as the research method the application of qualitative interviews with key members of these organizations. The conclusion of this study is that the level of consultants diversification, regarding markets and territories, may indicate the most appropriate KM tools for these organizations.

Para tanto, partimos da investigação das empresas globais de consultoria e suas relações com o Estado. São empresas transnacionais que controlam parcela da produção de informações organizacionais e se fortaleceram na era neoliberal por serem responsáveis por promoverem os ajustes corporativos fiéis aos desígnios da globalização. A pesquisa mostra que foi por meio da participação no Plano Nacional de Desestatização (PND) e da terceirização do planejamento estatal que essas empresas se firmaram no Brasil. Também é analisada a lógica territorial dessas empresas por meio da estruturação de seus escritórios na rede urbana brasileira. Trata-se da articulação de círculos de informações globais entre empresas que tiveram importante participação no processo de reestruturação produtiva das corporações, bem como no processo de planejamento e privatização do território, assim como do aparelho estatal brasileiro na década de 1990. Tomamos como estudo empírico a participação da consultora Mckinsey&Company no atual plano de concessão dos principais aeroportos brasileiros. Analisamos, por fim, como esse planejamento foi colocado em contraposição ao planejamento participativo e democrático, voltado à totalidade da sociedade e do território / Abstract: The present study aims to contribute to the investigation of the production, the circulation and the articulator power of the corporative information in the use of the Brazilian territory. With this focus, our starting point in this work was the analysis of the global consulting companies and their intercourses with the State. The transnational corporations are the holders of the production of organizational information and have got strengthened in the neoliberal era for promoting the adjustments that are faithful to the designs of globalization. This research shows that it was through participation in the National Plan of Privatization and by outsourcing the state planning that these companies became strong in Brazil. We also have analyzed the territorial logic of these companies by checking the organization of their offices in the Brazilian urban centers. This is closely related to the articulation of circles of global information among companies that have a pivotal role in the process of productive reestablishment of the corporations, in the process of planning and privatization of the territory and Brazilian state-owned apparatus in the 1990s. We have taken as our empirical study the participation of McKinsey & Company in the current plan of privatization of the main Brazilian airports. The determinants of tender opportunities in consulting engineering firms in the Eastern Cape

Management of an engineering consultancy unit in the Eastern Cape Province is concerned about the costs incurred by project managers and specialist engineers pursuing tender opportunities that are not feasible. Annual losses in this unit due to unsuccessful tenders amounts to R2,5 million annually, which equates to about 12% of the revenue generated by the unit. The aim of the research study is to assist the consulting engineering firm by investigating and identifying the key determinants for making the decision of whether to bid on a particular tender opportunity. The study includes an assessment of relevant literature, academia and text to investigate key factors that could influence the decision to bid on tenders from which research questions and appropriate theories were drawn. Based on the research questions and theories that emanated from the literature, the study also includes the assessment of primary data through the administration of a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire is empirically analysed within the positivistic research paradigm through the use of descriptive and inferential statistics. Conclusions are drawn and recommendations are made based on the findings of the administered questionnaire.

The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the issue of content marketing for generating leads and information about potential customers, then to analyze and offer some recommendations for its further use among B2B suppliers of educational and consulting services. The theoretical part discusses three key topics: the specifics of the services and B2B sector; content marketing and the reasons for its inclusion in marketing strategy; and the issue of lead generation as a possible metric of content marketing and sales tool. The practical part of the thesis approaches this topic from the perspective of four representatives of service suppliers, complemented by a point of view of the mediate company IVITERA. This company brings together one of the largest B2B communities in the services sector on the Czech market within its (especially online) media projects. Research was conducted through individual interviews with representatives of all five companies and by an analysis of secondary data, leads and keywords provided by the mediate company.

Diploma thesis deals with the appraisal of employees in consulting companies and providing them feedback. The aim of the study is to design a time-saving method that would allow evaluating employees and giving them feedback to their performance with regard to their development as well as continuous fulfillment monitoring of their development goals. Furthermore to apply the method to environment of a specific company. The work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with assembling the necessary theory for the design of appropriate method for employee evaluation in the consulting firms and is devoting feedback to employees. The second part describes the designed evaluation process and employees associated with the feedback which is suitable for use in consulting firms. This process is based on the findings written in the theoretical part. The last part deals with application of the designed method in a real organization. There is described the process of employee evaluation and feedback adapted to the specific business requirements, design of the pilot run, course of the pilot run and preparation of all necessary documentation needed to implement the method in the specific company.
