Trasování významných bodů ve videosekvenci nestacionární kamery / Interest Points Tracking in Video Sequence of Non-stationary Camera

Studený, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of tracking feature points earned from videosequences of hand helded camera. The work is focused on the case of moving camera and static background, and events that are associated with this case and can occur. There is studied the movement of the camera, which is given its direction and speed. The aim of this work is the election and the subsequent implementation of three fundamentally different methods suitable for tracking feature points in case of moving camera and their comparison according to set criteria. On the basis of comparison will be under pre-defined conditions chosen algorithm that is best able to deal with tracing these points.

Guillen Vasquez, Aranza Antuanet, Huamanchumo Olivares, Sandra, Ortiz Eras, Harold Giancarlo, Perera Sánchez, Yuniel, Zevallos Fernández, Indira 07 December 2020 (has links)
This research work develops a business project focused on the design and marketing of footwear for girls, boys and teenagers, whose ages range from 0 to 14 years old. A relevant aspect of this social enterprise is that it will operate under the “Buy one, give one” business model, which implies that when certain models are sold, the company will give children and adolescents in vulnerable situations a pair of shoes. In addition, it is planned to channel a percentage of the profits to entities that provide social assistance. The work is structured in seven parts: (i) General Aspects, (ii) Strategic Planning, (iii) Market Research and Validation, (vi) Marketing Plan, (v) Operations Plan, (vi) Organizational Structure and Human Resources and (vii) Financial Economic Planning. It is a highly profitable project. An Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 64.32 % has been calculated. It is observed that this project generates a NPV of S/268,455.84, which demonstrates its viability. / Trabajo de investigación

Online nástroj pro průběžné sledování a zpracovávání výsledků z vyhledávacích strojů / Online Tool for Monitoring and Processing of Searching Engine Results

Sedlář, Petr January 2007 (has links)
The aim of this work was to design and implement the application that is easily, quickly and effectively able to determine the position in the www search engines based on the given World Wide Web pages and theirs key words. The application is accessible by the web interface and it enables comparison of the position statements from the archives, comparison of the graph outputs, as well as sending of PDF format files containing regular results statements. Together with the position it is stored the number of references of particular word in the search engine. Furthermore, it is possible to display also the position changes compared with the former statements. As stated above, it is possible to store the outputs in the PDF format documents and therefore it is easy to shore the entire development in your personal computer, in case online system is insufficient.

Development and Implementation of Star Tracker Electronics / Utveckling och implementering av elektronik för en stjärnkamera

Lindh, Marcus January 2014 (has links)
Star trackers are essential instruments commonly used on satellites. They provide precise measurement of the orientation of a satellite and are part of the attitude control system. For cubesats star trackers need to be small, consume low power and preferably cheap to manufacture. In this thesis work the electronics for a miniature star tracker has been developed. A star detection algorithm has been implemented in hardware logic, tested and verified. A platform for continued work is presented and future improvements of the current implementation are discussed.

The EnergyKids Pilot Study: Comparing Energy Balance of Primary School Children during School and Summer Camp

Franchini, Cinzia, Rosi, Alice, Ricci, Cristian, Scazzina, Francesca 21 April 2023 (has links)
Children’s energy requirements may vary during school and summer camp days. To evaluate energy balance during these two periods, seventy-eight children (45% females, 8–10 years) living in Parma, Italy, were enrolled in this observational study. Participants completed a 3-day food diary and wore an activity tracker for three consecutive days during a school- and a summer camp-week to estimate energy intake (EI) and energy expenditure (TEE). Height and body weight were measured at the beginning of each period to define children’s weight status. BMI and EI (school: 1692 ± 265 kcal/day; summer camp: 1738 ± 262 kcal/day) were similar during both periods. Both physical activity and TEE (summer camp: 1948 ± 312; school: 1704 ± 263 kcal/day) were higher during summer camp compared to school time. Therefore, energy balance was more negative during summer camp (−209 ± 366 kcal/day) compared to school time (−12 ± 331 kcal/day). Similar results were observed when males and females were analyzed separately but, comparing the sexes, males had a higher TEE and a more negative energy balance than females, during both periods. The results strongly suggest that an accurate evaluation of children’s energy balance, that considers both diet and physical activity, is needed when planning adequate diets for different situations.

Smart watch technology and impact on humans:A study of smart watch’s implications on human life

Usman, Muhammad, Chukwueweniewe, Ngozi Henry January 2023 (has links)
Smartwatch is a technological product that has rekindled a lot of interest worldwide and areseen to be connected to our day-to-day lives. The recent growth on the adoption of thesmartwatch has posed challenges to researchers and other interest groups. Humans now live inmodern scientific societies that are heavily reliant on numerous smart devices of which thesmartwatch is a part of it. Past research has been done on the smartwatch phenomenon and itsassociated question that surround it. In this paper, we seek answers to the vital questionsbordering the usage of smartwatch and how those factors that are responsible for the increasein adoption of the smartwatch . The grounded theory research designed was used as ourmethodological approach and data were collected from twenty participants, some living inSweden and some in Norway. Analysis of data is also based upon, and informed by, theguidelines of grounded theory data coding steps. Further open coding & axial coding techniqueswere applied in data analysis section. Analysis of the data collected from the interviewsrevealed some interesting areas of smartwatch applications today. It also presented an insighton how consumers of smartwatch think about the product. Results from this study will be usefulfor future researchers as well as smartwatch merchants and makers.
