The title was born from a set of clinical care attendances - made by a NGO that cares for GLSBT people – where one of the patients speaks uninterruptedly about his mother. In these moments, the patient mentions a will to transvest that would not exist if it wasn’t for the influence of the mother; he constantly denies the analyst’s speech about it and any other who approaches the established dynamics between his mother and him – seen as perfect, although she was awfully sick. The risen hypothesis is that excessive denial, as well as the emphasis on the mother figure, connects to his will to transvest. In distinction to this case study, this essay intends to emphasize the mother figure as one of the instances of the feminine to the child, inferring to the thought of transvestility having an identification with femininity. For all, questions about narcissism, Oedipus complex and castration gain prominence inside the research and combine to the mechanism of denial. His issues on caring and on body entwine, bringing along considerations towards eroticism, present on the mother-son relation and modifications on the patient’s body. On the presented relationship, transvest hismself would be having access to an idealized body through erotization while providing live to an almost-dead mother / A presente dissertação, escrita sob a luz da Psicopatologia Fundamental, aborda questões referentes à travestilidade e elementos que se ligam a essa manifestação. O tema nasceu de uma série de atendimentos clínicos – realizados em uma ONG que atende a população GLSBT – nos quais um dos pacientes fala ininterruptamente de sua mãe. Nesses atendimentos, o paciente menciona uma vontade de se travestir que não realizaria em função da mãe; nega constantemente as falas da analista e de todos aqueles que se aproximam da dinâmica instaurada entre ele e a mãe – vista como perfeita, mesmo que a mãe estivesse muito doente. A hipótese levantada é que o excesso de negação, bem como a ênfase na mãe se liga à sua vontade de se travestir. A partir desse estudo de caso, o presente trabalho pretende dar ênfase à figura materna como um dos representantes do feminino para a criança, levando a pensar que o travestimento possui uma face identificatória com a feminilidade. Para tanto, questões referentes a narcisismo, complexo de Édipo e castração ganham destaque no andamento da pesquisa e ligam-se ao mecanismo da negação. As questões do cuidado e do corpo se entrelaçam, trazendo reflexões referentes ao erotismo, presentes na relação travada com a mãe e nas transformações do corpo do paciente. The corpus of the research is related to news published in the period between 2012 to 2016. The starting point was the launch of Resolution SESA 188 of March 10, 2010, which provides the inclusion of the social name of transsexual and transvestite people in administrative documents in the state of Paraná. What motivated us was the concern of the effects of meaning produced by CGN. In this sense, the main objective was to analyze discursive formations, ideological formations and imaginary formations on transvestites in CGN discourse. For this research, were mobilized the theoretical assumptions of the Discourse Analysis of French orientation, based on Pêcheux. The analyzed meanings relegate the transvestite to a marginal and marginalized position, close to criminality and with its identity not always respected and/or understood by the information portal. Also in this research, we analyze how CGN brings in its discourse the social name of transvestites. / Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa acerca do funcionamento do discurso jornalístico do portal de informação virtual Central Gazeta de Notícias (CGN) sobre as travestis em Cascavel, no Paraná. O corpus da pesquisa é referente a notícias publicadas no período compreendido entre de 2012 a 2016. O marco de partida foi o lançamento da Resolução SESA 188 de 10 de março de 2010, que prevê a inclusão do nome social de pessoas transexuais e travestis em documentos administrativos no estado do Paraná. O que nos motivou foi a preocupação dos efeitos de sentido produzidos pela CGN. Neste sentido, o objetivo principal foi de analisar as formações discursivas, as formações ideológicas e as formações imaginárias sobre as travestis no discurso da CGN. Para essa pesquisa, foram mobilizados os pressupostos teóricos da Análise do Discurso de orientação francesa, com base em Pêcheux. Os sentidos analisados relegam a travesti a uma posição de marginal e marginalizada, próxima da criminalidade e com sua identidade nem sempre respeitada e/ou compreendida pelo portal de informação. Ainda nesta pesquisa analisamos a forma como a CGN traz, em seu discurso, o nome social das travestis.

It is a theoretical study, a literature review. Therefore, the construction of this work involved two steps: the first step was the literature review on the subject concerning the period of the last twelve years from the key descriptors found in online data basis (Web of Science, LILACS, MedLine, Bireme Portal.periodicos.Capes, PubMed, Scielo Brazil), and the second step was the participation of the researcher in events, on visits to institutions and in dialogues with experts in the field of transvestility. The research was guided by the theoretical framework of socio-historical Psychology. This perspective believes that the way we assume ourselves is related to our subjectivity, which is historically constructed by the subject in its historical, social and emotional relations, being the human psyche a flexible and malleable category, involving the dimensions of consciousness, activity and identity in which the phenomena of transvestility is understood. It is noticed that transvestility expresses a social and individual subjectivity that is constructed in a dialectical relationship, and that shows the complexity of historical, social, family and personal experiences. It expresses both a transformation of a genetically male body and the transformation of a gender identity opposite to the biological sex, which subverts the gender through sophisticated programming techniques such as hormone therapy, implantation of silicone and use of female clothing and accessories. It concludes that the transformation of the body in transvestility into a feminine image is perceived as a second skin which shows all its performance according to the beauty standards of hegemonic idealized feminine gender identity. The process of constitution of subjectivity is expressed by strangeness and by the complexity of changes in relation to the genetic body, by the construction of a gender identity according to the chosen gender, and consequently by using clothes and expressions of the body, consistent with this gender identity. This means that the constitution of subjectivity in transvestility cannot be described by an anatomical detail, but by a set of experiences that turn the transvestites into beings in a changing process, ranging from the destruction to the construction of a new body, with the challenges of the pain of beauty that is marked by moments and motivations of an individual socio-historical role, and that specifies the challenges in the constant transformation of the body, since the truth of gender is not written in the biological body, but in the many ways of constructing new meanings for genders / O presente trabalho pretende discutir a constituição da subjetividade na travestilidade a partir da subversão do corpo, adequando-o a identidade de gênero. É um estudo teórico, uma revisão da literatura. Para tanto, a construção do trabalho envolveu duas etapas: a primeira etapa foi sobre o levantamento bibliográfico referente ao tema, no período dos últimos doze anos a partir dos descritores-chaves nas bases de dados online (Web of Science, LILACS, MedLine, Bireme, Periódicos Capes, PubMed, Scielo Brasil), e a segunda a participação em eventos, visitas às instituições com diálogos em campo com especialistas que atendem o grupo das travestis. A pesquisa foi norteada pelo referencial teórico da Psicologia Sócio-histórica. Esta perspectiva entende que a maneira como nos assumimos diz respeito a nossa subjetividade, que é construída historicamente pelo sujeito nas suas relações históricas, sociais e afetivas, sendo o psiquismo humano uma categoria flexível e maleável, envolvendo as dimensões da consciência, atividade e identidade na qual os fenômenos da travestilidade são compreendidos. Percebe-se que a travestilidade expressa uma subjetividade individual e social construída numa relação dialética, e mostra sua complexidade das vivências históricas, sociais, familiares e pessoais. Expressa uma transformação do corpo genético masculino e da identidade de gênero oposta ao sexo biológico, que subverte o gênero através de sofisticadas técnicas de programação como hormonioterapia, implantação de silicone e uso de roupas e acessórios do gênero feminino. Conclui-se que a transformação do corpo na travestilidade em imagem feminina é percebida como uma segunda pele a qual mostra toda sua performance de acordo com os padrões de beleza hegemônica da identidade de gênero feminino idealizada. O processo de constituição da subjetividade se expressa pelo estranhamento e por uma complexidade de transformações em relação ao corpo genético, pela construção de identidade de gênero do sexo de escolha, e, consequentemente, pela utilização de roupas e expressões corporais condizentes com esta identidade de gênero. Isto significa que a constituição da subjetividade na travestilidade não pode ser designada por um detalhe anatômico e sim por um conjunto de experiências que fazem das travestis seres em mutação, que vão da destruição à construção de um novo corpo, com os desafios da dor da beleza, que é marcada por momentos e motivações diversas de um papel sócio-histórico individual, e especifica os desafios na transformação incessante do corpo, uma vez que a verdade do gênero não está escrita no corpo biológico, mas sim nas múltiplas possibilidades de construir novos significados para os gêneros
