Osciloscopio Portátil USB con Conexión de Red para Monitoreo Remoto

Palominos González, Néstor Manuel January 2008 (has links)

Interface pro diagnostickou sběrnici (SMBus/I2C) pro akumulátory / Interface for diagnostic busbar (SMBus/12C) for accumulators

Pintér, Zoltán January 2013 (has links)
The first chapter of the master´s thesis deals with the analysis of problems indesigning of devices, which include individual steps of the designing of the device and the choice of the most suitable option. It deals with the analysis of the proposed assignment and requirements for this device, analysis of battery management chip that the device should be able to communicate with, analysis of the I2C/SMBus communication protocol which is used for communication between the device with the battery management chips and possibilities of communication of the device with computer. The second chapter deals with the communications via USB bus and the description of this communication. The next step is dedicated to the selection of a programmable microprocessor Atmel AT90USB1287, describes his pin configuration, the possibilities, describes the way of USB interface connection, the method of the I2C/SMBus interface connection and its protection. In the last part of the this chapter the thesis describes Atmel microcontroller programming, specifically describes how to program I2C/SMBus communication, USB communication and how to write a program to the microprocessor. The third chapter of the thesis deals with the design of a single device, and components like a scheme of the connection and the concept of functional realization of the communication with device. The fourth chapter deals with the development of the device itself. Describes the parts of final involvement and describes the parts of the final program for microprocessor, such as communication with SMBus device and communication through the USB bus. The fifth chapter is devoted to the development of communication applications in Java. This section describes the different elements of applications such as communication with USB devices, data storage and open for viewing. The last chapter presents the final device and the final communication application.

Preventing the Insider - Blocking USB Write Capabilities to Prevent IP Theft

Lehrfeld, Michael 28 March 2020 (has links)
The Edward Snowden data breach of 2013 clearly illustrates the damage that insiders can do to an organization. An insider's knowledge of an organization allows them legitimate access to the systems where valuable information is stored. Because they belong within an organizations security perimeter, an insider is inherently difficult to detect and prevent information leakage. To counter this, proactive measures must be deployed to limit the ability of an insider to steal information. Email monitoring at the edge is can easily be monitored for large file exaltation. However, USB drives are ideally suited for large-scale file extraction in a covert manner. This work discusses a process for disabling write-access to USB drives while allowing read-access. Allowing read-access for USB drives allows an organization to adapt to the changing security posture of the organization. People can still bring USB devices into the organization and read data from them, but exfiltration is more difficult.

A Conceptual Design Methodology for Predicting the Aerodynamics of Upper Surface Blowing on Airfoils and Wings

Keen, Ernest Brock 15 December 2004 (has links)
One of the most promising powered-lift concepts is Upper Surface Blowing (USB), where the engines are placed above the wing and the engine exhaust jet becomes attached to the upper surface. The jet thrust can then be vectored by use of the trailing edge curvature since the jet flow tends to remain attached by the "Coanda Effect". Wind tunnel and flight-testing have shown USB aircraft to be capable of producing maximum lift coefficients near 10. They have the additional benefit of shielding the engine noise above the wing and away from the ground. Given the potential gains from USB aircraft, one would expect that conceptual design methods exist for their development. This is not the case however. While relatively complex solutions are available, there is currently no adequate low-fidelity methodology for the conceptual and preliminary design of USB or USB/distributed propulsion aircraft. The focus of the current work is to provide such a methodology for conceptual design of USB aircraft. Based on limited experimental data, the new methodology is shown to compare well with wind tunnel data. In this thesis we have described the new approach, correlated it with available 2-D data, and presented comparisons of our predictions with published USB data and an existing non-linear vortex lattice method. The current approach has been shown to produce good results over a broad range of propulsion system parameters, wing geometries, and flap deflections. In addition, the semi-analytical nature of the methodology will lend itself well to aircraft design programs/optimizers such as ACSYNT. These factors make the current method a useful tool for the design of USB and USB/distributed propulsion aircraft. / Master of Science

Alstom Power in Växjö develop and sell equipment like electro filters for enviromental purposes for the power industry. Those filters are controlled and regulated by controlunits, communicating via an Alstoms own standrad called “Fläktbuss”. To supervise and maintain this system, a solution of PDA and USB communication is intresting. To make this USB – Fläktbuss adaption an active conversion of data is required.
