Kvantové aspekty teorií velkého sjednocení / Quantum aspects of grand unified theoriesGráf, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
In this thesis we focus on Grand Unified Theories based on the SO(10) gauge group and, in particular, on the viability of the minimal nonsupersymmetric SO(10) models. Technically, this amounts to a detailed assessment of their vac- uum stability and related (non-)tachyonicity of their scalar spectrum. It turns out that the one-loop scalar mass corrections are important for elimination of the tachyonic behaviour of certain pseudo-Goldstone bosons. In this work these issues are briefly reviewed and two distinct methods for the calculation of the critical radiative corrections are discussed. More specifically, besides the revision of the effective potential approach to the 45 ⊕ 16 Higgs model also the standard perturbative theory method is employed for this purpose. The latter approach is particularly suitable for the more realistic 45 ⊕ 126 Higgs model since it appears to be practically impossible to construct the corresponding effective potential in that case. Consequently, diagrammatic methods are used to calculate the SO(10)- invariant leading scalar quantum correction to the problematic pseudo-Goldstone masses in the 45 ⊕ 126 model. 1

This diploma thesis focuses on the visual presentation of the Department of Physical Education Faculty of Education of the Charles University. Its aim is to analyse the current situation in the unified visual style of the department and propose improvement through a new graphic manual. The theoretical part contains information about the Department and its functioning, about cooperation with the university sports club and about the presentation of the department at various events. The theoretical part explains the background issues of the corporate identity and corporate image and shows how the selected departments at the Charles University in Prague and other Czech universities visually present themselves. The practical part analyses students, graduates, teachers' and the management's opinion of the work and visual appearance of the Department of Physical Education. And the key points of the presentation of the department in the graphic manual are summed and presented here. The knowledge acquired from this thesis and its output are primarily intended for employees of the department and people who will help with the graphical presentation of the department. Secondly, other departments that are planning to create their own visual style can get inspired by this work's models.

Safety shortcomings within a sawmill facility : How can Virtual Reality Simulators and RFID potentially decrease the most common identified causes?Torudd, Johan, Olsson, Marcus January 2019 (has links)
In a changing and globalized world, companies are faced with an ever-increased competition. This rapid change has made a big impact, where automation, complex production and customization are common requirements in order to stay competitive. Due to more complex production, companies need to prioritize safety aspects simultaneously as they develop internal processes. The addressed problem in this thesis have been centralized to the department Massamagasinet at Södra Cell in Mönsterås, mainly due to their experienced safety problems regarding forklifts and heavy vehicles. Due to the chosen context, a case study has been conducted in order to create an in-depth understanding of Södra’s witnessed safety issues. The executed thesis has been characterized by three theoretical perspectives: Multi Causational Theory, Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of New Technology as well as Virtual Reality. Thanks to the theories, an identification of safety shortcomings as well as user requirements was made possible. The context and theoretical perspectives have consistently been linked to chosen technologies, Virtual Reality simulators and RFID. Furthermore, interviews with users as well as software-developers have provided a broader perspective, regarding the situation and techniques mentioned above. Results generated, includes both technical possibilities and limitations based on the thesis initial perspective. Moreover, it has been shown that a potential reduction of identified shortcomings is possible, by using a Virtual Reality simulator and RFID system. However, it’s worth mentioning that such implementations and the advantages they potentially might generate, are feasible first when prevailing requirements regarding the techniques are carefully considered. Investments of similar character require both human and financial resources, where maximum value can be achieved first if the employees stands positively against such implementation. Thanks to the theory Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of New Technology, this thesis has been enriched with an additional perspective which aimed to investigate how Södra in general, and Massamagasinet in particular, stands towards new techniques.

User Adoption of Big Data Analyticsin the Public SectorAkintola, Abayomi Rasheed January 2019 (has links)
The goal of this thesis was to investigate the factors that influence the adoption of big data analytics by public sector employees based on the adapted Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. A mixed method of survey and interviews were used to collect data from employees of a Canadian provincial government ministry. The results show that performance expectancy and facilitating conditions have significant positive effects on the adoption intention of big data analytics, while effort expectancy has a significant negative effect on the adoption intention of big data analytics. The result shows that social influence does not have a significant effect on adoption intention. In terms of moderating variables, the results show that gender moderates the effects of effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating condition; data experience moderates the effects of performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating condition; and leadership moderates the effect of social influence. The moderation effects of age on performance expectancy, effort expectancy is significant for only employees in the 40 to 49 age group while the moderation effects of age on social influence is significant for employees that are 40 years and more. Based on the results, implications for public sector organizations planning to implement big data analytics were discussed and suggestions for further research were made. This research contributes to existing studies on the user adoption of big data analytics.

On Using UML Diagrams to Identify and Assess Software Design SmellsHaendler, Thorsten January 2018 (has links) (PDF)
Deficiencies in software design or architecture can severely impede and slow down the software development and maintenance progress. Bad smells and anti-patterns can be an indicator for poor software design and suggest for refactoring the affected source code fragment. In recent years, multiple techniques and tools have been proposed to assist software engineers in identifying smells and guiding them through corresponding refactoring steps. However, these detection tools only cover a modest amount of smells so far and also tend to produce false positives which represent conscious constructs with symptoms similar or identical to actual bad smells (e.g., design patterns). These and other issues in the detection process demand for a code or design review in order to identify (missed) design smells and/or re-assess detected smell candidates. UML diagrams are the quasi-standard for documenting software design and are often available in software projects. In this position paper, we investigate whether (and to what extent) UML diagrams can be used for identifying and assessing design smells. Based on a description of difficulties in the smell detection process, we discuss the importance of design reviews. We then investigate to what extent design documentation in terms of UML2 diagrams allows for representing and identifying software design smells. In particular, 14 kinds of design smells and their representability in UML class and sequence diagrams are analyzed. In addition, we discuss further challenges for UML-based identification and assessment of bad smells.

Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo compreender a maneira como um grupo de educadoras de uma Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental situada em um CEU se apropria de seu espaço no cotidiano escolar tendo em vista suas representações sobre o projeto, que preconiza a execução de uma proposta de trabalho voltada a ações de integração entre suas outras Unidades Regulares e os Núcleos de Educação, Cultura, Lazer e Esporte. Buscam-se evidências desta articulação e de um trabalho dito inovador, prescrito em seu regimento, na narrativa de cinco professoras. Considera-se que a prática resulta da articulação possível entre um contexto observado e uma série de representações incorporadas em relação à carreira, a comunidade escolar, a unidade de trabalho, aos pares, assim como aos seus saberes profissionais, dentre outros aspectos. Ao longo do exame das narrativas foi possível perceber a diversidade apresentada na formação que tiveram e os condicionantes que motivaram as escolhas profissionais correlacionando-os as suas condições socioeconômicas e culturais. O estudo norteou-se pela seguinte questão, dentre outras: Como as docentes constroem suas práticas cotidianas tendo que atentar para as propostas do Regimento Padrão da unidade? Tornou-se perceptível que esta se dá em meio ao enfrentamento de problemas que abrangem a ressignificação da ação e de concepções já interiorizadas, assim como a reorganização temporal do trabalho. Para além disto, também se torna evidente a necessidade de constituir atividades voltadas à formação em contexto, já que diante da incumbência de que o espaço CEU tem que desenvolver atividades inovadoras entende-se que esta não pode estar desarticulada do entendimento de que são os agentes que por lá circulam que constroem a cultura escolar. A pesquisa busca contribuir para as discussões relativas à formação e à atuação profissional dos professores considerando a correlação existente entre o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional na consolidação de seu habitus. Para tanto, recorre às fontes documentais como o regimento padrão das unidades do CEU e seu Decreto de Criação, além do Projeto Político Pedagógico da EMEF e aos dados obtidos por meio de questionários e das entrevistas realizadas. / The aim of this research is to understand the way in which a group of educators of a municipal elementary school located in a CEU appropriates its space in the school routine in view of its representations about the project, in which it is fostered the execution of a work proposal aimed at the integration between other regular unities and the Nuclei of Education, Culture, Leisure and Sport. From the narrative of five teachers, we search for evidences of such articulation and of a said innovative work, prescribed in its Regiment. It is considered that the practice stems from the pursuable articulation between the observed context and a series of internalized representations related to their careers, the school community, the work unity, their peers, as well as their professional knowledge, among others. Through the examination of their narratives it was possible to notice the diversity in their professional training and the conditionals that motivated their professional choices, co-relating them with their social, economic and cultural contexts. The study was guided by the following question, among others: How do the teachers create their daily practices while having to fulfill the proposals of the unitys Standard Regiment? It became clear that this happens amidst the confrontation of problems that encompass the resignifying of the action and of already interiorized conceptions, as well as the temporal reorganization of their work. Besides that, it also becomes evident the necessity of constituting training within context, since, due to the incumbency of the CEU of developing innovative activities, it is understood that such activities cannot be disconnected from the idea that it is the agents there who build the school culture. The research seeks to contribute to the discussions related to teachers professional training and practice, considering the existing correlation between personal and professional development in the consolidation of their habitus. In so doing, we resort to documents such as the Standard Regiment of CEU unities and their Creation Enactment, as well as the Pedagogical-Political Project of the school unity and data obtained by means of questionnaires and the interviews that were conducted.

A maior complexidade do mundo atual, trouxe novos desafios para as metodologias da geografia e da saúde pública, assim como, para a relação entre tais metodologias - instrumentais teóricos, técnicos e empíricos. A proposta deste trabalho é de que se pense a saúde a partir das noções de bem estar e uso do território, diante do mundo como uma totalidade concreta, no período técnico-científico-informacional. Para a sistematização do conhecimento dos lugares foi utilizado o conceito de situações geográficas, definidas como um conjunto dos principais eventos que caracterizam as dinâmicas de cada lugar e seus sentidos futuros. As situações ajudam a identificar a dimensão dos desafios à concretização do bem estar em cada lugar, e lançam uma âncora no futuro para reflexão sobre a consolidação do Sistema Único de Saúde e a universalização da saúde. Nessa perspectiva, foi realizado o estudo da situação geográfica de metropolização, tendo como referencial empírico o município de Campinas - SP. O objetivo foi observar como os serviços de saúde respondem aos desafios postos pelas contradições inerentes à situação geográfica de metropolização, isto é, a convivência as densidades técnicas, científicas e informacionais no uso do território com as extremas desigualdades socioespaciais de acesso a esses benefícios, oferecidos pela metrópole. A metodologia utilizada contribuiu para o entendimento das novas medidas de reestruturação adotadas recentemente pelo Hospital das Clínicas da UNICAMP, tomando por base os desafios estruturais do Brasil para a consolidação do SUS e para a universalização da saúde em relação à dimensão destes desafios postos - seus processos e profundidades - diante da situação de metropolização. O conceito de situação geográfica abre caminhos para as políticas públicas voltadas à compreensão dos desafios de concretização do bem estar conforme a dinâmica dos lugares; conhecimento que é, cada vez mais, requisitado pelos cidadãos e pelos gestores, para a melhoria das condições de vida e saúde da população / The greater complexity of today\'s world brought new challenges to the geographic and public health methodologies, as well as to the relationship between these methodologies theoretical instrumental, technical and empiric. The proposal of this work is to think health starting from the notions of wellbeing and territory use before the world as a concrete totality in the technical-scientific-informational period. The concept of geographic situations, defined as a set of the main events that characterize the dynamics of each location and their future senses, was used for the systematization of location knowledge. The situations help identify the dimension of the challenges that must be overcome in order to achieve wellbeing in each location and deliver an anchor in the future to contemplate the consolidation of the Unified Health System (SUS) and universalization of health. In this perspective, a study was done on the geographic metropolization situation, where the empiric reference was the municipality of Campinas, SP. The objective was to observe how the health services respond to the challenges placed by the contradictions inherent to the geographic metropolization situation, that is, the relationship between the technical, scientific and informational densities in territory use and the extreme social and spatial inequalities of access to the benefits offered by the metropolis. The methodology used contributed to the understanding of the new restructuring measures recently adopted by the Clinical Hospital of UNICAMP, taking as base the Brazilian structural challenges to consolidate the Unified Health System and the universalization of health in relation to these challenges - their processes and depths - before the metropolization situation. The geographic situation concept grants access to public policies oriented towards comprehending the existing challenges in order to achieve well being according to location dynamics; a knowledge that is required to an ever growing extent by citizens and managers to improve the life and health conditions of the population.

Introdução A partir da pergunta de partida Que fatores levaram um partido de origem socialista a optar por uma gerência terceirizada na Saúde? procurou-se analisar a parceria de um Órgão Público com o Terceiro Setor, para gerenciar um hospital regional, definindo-se, como objeto, o caso do Hospital Regional do Juruá, Acre, no início do século XXI. Objetivo Analisar as implicações do gerenciamento terceirizado de um hospital público e a política pública de saúde no Acre, no início do século XXI, sob governos hegemonizados pelo Partido dos Trabalhadores. Método estudo de metodologia qualitativa, utilizou um estudo de caso, onde foram realizadas revisão de bibliografia, análise documental e coleta de dados empíricos. A população de referência foi constituída por gestores, trabalhadores e usuários do SUS. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de pesquisa documental e de entrevista com roteiro. O conteúdo das entrevistas foi sistematizado com o auxílio da técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Posteriormente, foi triangulado com os dados oriundos da pesquisa documental. A análise final utilizou a Teoria da Escolha Racional. Resultados As transformações ocorridas no mundo desde a década de 1980 atingiram o PT na sua trajetória e o colocaram diante da escolha de maximizar votos para chegar ao poder, optando por ampliar suas alianças e fazendo uma virada ideológica pragmática. No Acre, a eleição da Frente Popular representou uma ruptura com o sistema político local inaugurando um projeto de Poder de longo prazo. A Saúde Pública foi bastante impactada, resultando num serviço de melhor qualidade, reconhecido pela população. Os governos agiram racionalmente para maximizar o apoio político, tomando decisões eficientemente planejadas para alcançar os fins econômicos e políticos desejados. Dentre essas escolhas, esteve a decisão de firmar parceria com o Terceiro Setor para gerenciar um hospital de referência regional. Conclusões A contradição inicial de um governo do Partido dos Trabalhadores em utilizar o modelo de terceirização para gerir um hospital público foi explicada através das escolhas racionais feitas pelos seus governos diante das alternativas colocadas, analisando-se as várias condições que dificultavam o funcionamento de um hospital numa localidade geograficamente isolada. Entretanto, a lógica da parceria com o Terceiro Setor foi naturalizada, favorecendo a acomodação dos interesses das partes envolvidas, e consolidando-se como permanente / Introduction From the starting question \"What factors led a party of socialist origin to opt for outsourced management in Health?\" sought to analyze the partnership of a Public Organ with the Third Sector, to manage a regional hospital, defining, as object, the case of the Hospital Regional do Juruá , Acre, at the beginning of the 21st century. Objective To analyze the implications of outsourced management of a public hospital and public health policy in Acre at the beginning of the 21st century under governments hegemonized by the Partido dos Trabalhadores. Method Study of qualitative methodology, used a case study, where they were carried out review of bibliography, documentary analysis and empirical data collection. The reference population was made up of SUS managers, workers and users. The data were obtained through documentary research and interview with script. The content of the interviews was systematized with the help of the Collective Subject Discourse technique. Subsequently, it was triangulated with data from documentary research. The final analysis used the Rational Choice Theory. Results The transformations that have occurred in the world since the 1980s have reached the PT in its trajectory and have placed it before the choice of maximizing votes to reach power, opting to broaden its alliances and making a pragmatic ideological turn. In Acre, the Popular Front election represented a break with the local political system inaugurating a long-term power project. Public Health was very impacted, resulting in a better quality service, recognized by the population. Governments acted rationally to maximize political support by making efficiently planned decisions to achieve the desired economic and political ends. Among these choices was the decision to establish a partnership with the Third Sector to manage a regional reference hospital. Conclusions The initial contradiction of a Partido dos Trabalhadores government in using the outsourcing model to run a public hospital was explained through the rational choices made by its governments in the face of the alternatives placed by analyzing the various conditions that hindered the operation of a hospital in a Locally geographically isolated. However, the logic of the partnership with the Third Sector was naturalized, favoring the accommodation of the interests of the parties involved, and consolidating as permanent

Avaliação da atenção em diabetes mellitus em uma unidade básica distrital de saúde de Ribeirão Preto-SP / Evaluation of diabetes mellitus care service at a District Basic Health Unit in Ribeirão Preto-SP,Silva, Adriana Serafim Bispo e 18 September 2009 (has links)
Este estudo de caso teve como objetivo avaliar a estrutura, o processo e o resultado da atenção em diabetes mellitus em uma Unidade Básica Distrital de Saúde, do município de Ribeirão Preto-SP. Foram analisados 138 prontuários de saúde de usuários com diabetes mellitus, de janeiro de 2007 a julho de 2008. Para a coleta de dados, foram utilizados o prontuário de saúde dos usuários, a observação participante e a Relação Municipal de Medicamentos. Para análise, utilizou-se a Avaliação de Cuidados em Saúde proposta por Donabedian (1980). Quanto ao componente estrutura: a organização dos espaços que tiveram relação com o atendimento prejudicou a ambiência na atenção em saúde ao usuário com diabetes mellitus. Os profissionais envolvidos no atendimento do usuário com diabetes mellitus foram os médicos e auxiliares de enfermagem. Os registros de enfermeiros corresponderam a 9,4% dos atendimentos e dos farmacêuticos, 8,6%. Registros de atendimentos dos profissionais, assistente social, nutricionista e cirurgião-dentista, não foram identificados nos prontuários de saúde. Havia disponível, na Unidade de recursos materiais, medicamentos e insumos para o tratamento e seguimento do usuário com diabetes mellitus. Quanto ao componente processo: a análise das atividades técnicas mostrou que o peso corporal foi verificado em 98,6% e a pressão arterial em 100% dos prontuários de saúde. Os dados relacionados à avaliação nutricional do usuário como cálculo do Índice de Massa Corporal e verificação da Circunferência Abdominal ainda não faziam parte do atendimento da Unidade. A avaliação dos pés foi registrada em 15,2% dos prontuários, e a avaliação oftalmológica, em 4,3%. Quanto aos exames laboratoriais, obteve-se que o registro do exame de glicemia de jejum constava em 93,5% dos prontuários e da hemoglobina glicada em 81,2%. A maioria dos usuários tinha registro da dosagem do perfil lipídico. Apenas 1,4% dos prontuários continha o registro da análise de microalbuminúria. Estratégias educativas individuais registradas acerca da alimentação e atividade física foram 56,6% e 39,8%, respectivamente. O acolhimento foi realizado pelos auxiliares de enfermagem. A consulta de enfermagem foi incipiente ao usuário com diabetes mellitus. O farmacêutico realizou a maioria das atribuições e competências definidas no Protocolo de Atendimento em Hipertensão e Diabetes. Os dados mostram que havia falta de articulação entre os profissionais de saúde na Unidade. Quanto à caracterização: os resultados apontaram que 90,6% dos usuários apresentaram diabetes mellitus tipo 2; mediana de 63 anos, sexo feminino. A mediana do tempo de tratamento foi de 8 anos em acompanhamento clínico com o endocrinologista. Quanto ao componente resultado: o conjunto de indicadores, para avaliação de resultado de atendimento de usuários com diabetes mellitus na UBDS Dr. Marco Antônio Sahão, mostrou que a Unidade atendeu à exigência mínima para pontuação de apenas de um dos 12 indicadores utilizados para o atendimento dos usuários com diabetes mellitus. Concluiu-se que há necessidade de reorganização da atenção em diabetes, com vistas a atingir a qualidade do cuidado ofertado aos usuários com diabetes mellitus. / This case study had the purpose to evaluate the structure, process and outcome of the health care service to patients with diabetes mellitus seen at a District Basic Health Unit, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state. A total of 138 diabetes mellitus patients health records were analyzed from January 2007 to July 2008. Data collection was perfumed using the patients health records, participant observation and the Municipal Medication List. The analysis was performed using the Evaluation of Health Care proposed by Donabedian (1980). Regarding the structure component: the organization of the areas harmed the general mood of the health care service to patients with diabetes mellitus. The professionals involved in providing health care services to patients with diabetes mellitus were physicians and nursing auxiliaries. Nurses records corresponded to 9.4% of the services delivered and 8.6% were done by pharmacist. Records of the services delivered by health care professionals, social worker, nutritionist, and dentist were not identified in the health records. The items located in the material resource unit were medications and materials to treat patients with diabetes mellitus. As for the process component: the analysis of the technical activities showed that body weight was verified in 98.6% and blood pressure in 100% of the health records. Data related to the patients1 nutritional evaluation, such as body mass index and checking their abdominal circumference had not yet been included in the units service. Foot evaluation was registered in 15.2% of the patients records, and eye evaluation in 4.3%. As for laboratory tests, it was found that fast glucose test results were registered in 93.5% of the records, and hemoglobin glycated in 81.2%. Patients lipid profile dose was registered in most records. Only 1.4% of the records presented data regarding the microalbuminuria analysis. Records of individual educational strategies regarding the patients food and exercise habits were 56.6% and 39.8%, respectively. Nursing auxiliaries were the professionals responsible for welcoming the patients. The nursing consultation was incipient for patients with diabetes mellitus. The pharmacist performed most the activities and competencies defined on the Diabetes and Hypertension Service Protocol. The data show there was a lack of communication between the health professionals at the unit. As for the characterization: the results showed that 90.6% of the users had diabetes mellitus type 2; with a median of 63 years, and were women. The mean time of treatment was 8 years with clinical follow-up with an endocrinologist. As for the outcome component: the group of indicators used to evaluate the outcome of the service provided to patients with diabetes mellitus at the BHU Dr. Marco Antonio Sahão showed that the unit met the minimum demands only for one of the 12 indicators for diabetes mellitus patient care. It is concluded that there is a need to reorganize diabetes care, with a view to improve the quality of the service provided to diabetes mellitus patients.

A formação dos profissionais de saúde ainda está distante dos princípios e diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). As propostas publicadas pelas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCN) para o curso de odontologia, em 2002, visam preencher essa lacuna por meio da articulação entre as Instituições de Educação Superior (IES) e o SUS. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório sobre o sentido das atividades realizadas nos cenários de prática do SUS, sob o ponto de vista dos alunos do curso de odontologia de uma IES privada localizada no interior de São Paulo, à luz das DCN e do projeto político pedagógico (PPP) do referido curso. A pesquisa ocorreu no site da rede social do Facebook, em grupos secretos de discussão com 10 discentes, utilizando questões abertas relacionadas à odontologia, ao SUS e à graduação, entre novembro de 2014 e julho de 2015. Durante o processo, descobriu-se que 8 alunos trabalhavam no SUS como auxiliares e técnicos de saúde bucal e uma auxiliar de enfermagem, fato que influenciou na construção e condução das perguntas. As opiniões dos alunos, o PPP da IES estudada e o documento das DCN foram analisados por meio dos Mapas Conceituais (concebidos por Novak e Cañas), e em seguida, validados, respectivamente, pelos discentes, pelo coordenador do curso de odontologia estudado, e pela representante da Associação Brasileira de Ensino Odontológico (ABENO). Para aprofundar a análise das distintas vivências e pontos de vistas, utilizou-se a técnica de análise de conteúdo temática de Bardin. A discussão dos resultados evidenciou que além de ser possível ocorrer práticas pedagógicas nos cenários de prática do SUS, também é provável o aprendizado de competências e habilidades descritas pelas DCN. O potencial transformador desses cenários de prática possibilitou, nessa pesquisa, a proposição de estratégias para a realização de atividades no SUS alinhadas às DCN. / The training of health professionals is still far from the principles and guidelines of the Unified Health System (SUS). Proposals published by the National Curricular Guidelines (DCN) for the dentistry course in 2002, aim to fill this gap through the articulation between Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and SUS. It is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study on the direction of activities in the SUS practice settings, in the course of the students\' perspective of dentistry of a private institution located in São Paulo, in the light of DCN and the political pedagogical project (PPP) of that course. The survey took place on the Facebook social networking site in secret discussion groups with 10 students, using open questions related to dentistry, SUS and graduation, between November 2014 and July 2015. During the process, it was discovered that 8 students working in SUS as assistants and technicians of oral health and a nursing assistant, a fact that influenced the construction and conduct of questions. The opinions of students, the PPP IES study and document the DCN were analyzed using concept maps (designed by Novak and Cañas), and then validated, respectively, by the students, the dentistry course coordinator studied, and the representative of the Association of Dental Education (ABENO). To deepen the analysis of the different experiences and points of view, we used the technique of thematic content analysis Bardin. The discussion of the results showed that besides being can occur pedagogical practices in SUS practice settings, it is also likely learning skills and abilities described by DCN. The transformative potential of these practice settings enabled, this research, to propose strategies for carrying out activities in the SUS aligned with DCN.
