In the first quarter of the 20th century, the Czech teacher J. St. Kubín collected far more than 1000 folktales of Czech countrymen, especially in the Giant Mountains. Kubín comprehended the orally passed on folktale as the genuine cultural tradition of ‘unsophisticated’ people. The narrator is the bearer of this tradition, which Kubín defends as autonomous and native against modernism and civic society. Different from Václav Tille, who claimed the literary written origin of folktales, Kubín emphasizes the oral tradition of the folktales. His rich collection shows the internationality of the types of the folktale.

The largest post-war economic crisis, which began spreading to the world in the second half of 2008, hit all sectors negatively. An important lesson from the analysis of the crisis is not its causes, but rather the reference to the drawbacks of globalization, in the form of dismantling the consequences of this crisis. Building industry is a specific branch of the Czech economy, which has responded to the outbreak, the course and the retreat of crisis, in a unique way. Both pre-investment and investment phases of a construction project are time-consuming, resulting in a delayed response - inertia, to changes in the state of the economy that are reflected in aggregate demand from which demand for construction output is derived. The thesis focuses mainly on the development market, where it focuses in detail on evolution of housing construction in the pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis period. The set of incorrect steps, decisions and inactivity of residential developers caused a unique phenomenon - the house-offer crisis. Therefore, the result of the work is methodological recommendations - a set of steps whose observation should reduce the negative effects of the crisis on the construction industry and avoid the re-emergence of the house-offer crisis. Economic cycles give us two assurances: each growth is followed by fall and vice versa. Nowadays it is not possible to predict the causes of the future crisis or its length, but it is important to prepare for it.

Ray-finned fishes (Actinopterygii) exhibit the greatest biodiversity among vertebrates. The vast majority of extant actinopterygian fish species belong to clade Teleostei - a lineage whose significant evolutionary success might have resulted from a teleost specific whole- genome duplication (TSGD) that occurred at the onset of this group, subsequent to its divergence from the rest of actinopterygian lineages. Despite the growing body of sequenced fish genomes and analyses of their transcriptomes, the largest contribution to understanding fish genomes comes from analyses of DNA content and from cytogenetics. Genomes of ray-finned fishes and especially those of Teleostei exhibit vast diversity and rapid dynamics of repetitive DNA sequences whose variability is reflected in a wide range of fish genome sizes and in the dynamics behind karyotype differentiation. Therefore, ray-finned fishes offer a unique opportunity to study genome variability as a driving force underlying morphological and ecological diversification, evolution and adaptation. Mais precisamente, meu propósito é o de investigar criticamente os fundamentos da tese que afirma existirem pensamentos singulares sobre números naturais. Para desenvolver tal investigação, aborda-se, por um lado, o papel desempenhado pelos pensamentos singulares em nossa vida mental, e, por outro, os debates acerca das condições a serem satisfeitas no desenvolvimento de tais pensamentos. A argumentação aqui construída favorece uma abordagem cognitiva para os pensamentos singulares, o que significa que as condições a serem satisfeitas em seu desenvolvimento devam ser consideradas como cognitivas, assim como o papel desempenhado por eles, os pensamentos singulares, em nossa vida mental. Deste modo, procuro argumentar que se a questão sobre a possibilidade de um indivíduo desenvolver pensamentos singulares sobre números naturais recebe uma resposta positiva, isso se deve ao fato de que tal possibilidade constitui-se como um fato cognitivo. Em consequência, sendo um fato cognitivo, também se procura argumentar que a investigação ontológica sobre a natureza dos números naturais, embora possivelmente relevante, não é essencial para fundamentar a tese sob análise. / [en] In this dissertation, I tackle the issue of singular thought. More precisely, my main purpose is to critically investigate the grounds for the claim that there are singular thoughts about natural numbers. To do so, I review some of the debates concerning the conditions to be met in order to have (be ascribed) such thoughts and the role played by singular thinking in our mental lives. I clearly favor here a cognitive approach, which means that the conditions to be met must be thought of as cognitive, and the role played by singular thinking in our mental lives as cognitive too. Accordingly, I argue that if the question as to whether one can have singular thoughts about natural numbers is to be given a positive answer, it is because it is a cognitive fact that one can. Being a cognitive fact, I also argue that an ontological investigation into the nature of natural numbers, though possibly relevant, is not essential to support the claim under analysis.

Nowadays, static analysis is a helpful option for developers to ensure all the important properties of a developed application. But these analyses must be also developed and it is inevitable that sometimes they must be debugged to find and solve problems inside of the analyses themself. The debugging of static analyses might be more complicated because some popular analysis frameworks do not provide sufficient support for debugging. One of the widely used analysis frameworks is WALA. In this thesis, we thoroughly explored all the main features of WALA and determined possible points for better debugging support. For each of these points, we designed and implemented supporting infrastructure that should accelerate the process of debugging by avoiding the tedious manual effort needed for inspection and evaluation of the internal state of WALA. One kind of these points is the analysis configuration where we created an inspection system for class hierarchy and call graph that should detect common misconfiguration problems. The next point is the debugging of the data flow transfer functions, for which we created a visualizer of the running analysis over the subject program. Women's rights and their position became part of political and specialized discussions already at the end of Ottoman empire and remain such during establishing new Turkish republic as well during accession dialogue of Turkey to the European Union or joining the global women's human rights regime. However, I will argue, that this legislative changes are not sufficient for improvement of women's position within society, which is so trongly influenced by Islamic traditional culture. Therefore, in this work I will try to search for the roots of this conflict between Islamic traditional and modern society and their impact on women's position in Turkey. To do so, I will use qualitative content analysis of feminist and postcolonialist texts and also will focus on historic context. At the same time I will examine how contemporary Turkish society, which is in the first place focused on collective identity, deal with individual identity, that is necessary for promoting and claiming human rights for each person as individual.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka filmen Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010) sätt att använda sig av klipp och övergångstekniker och hur de förhåller sig till humor och komedi.Tre sekvenser som representerar en bredd av olika klipptekniker och teorier har analyserats för att undersöka hur olika övergångar som till exempel en svepning kan användas, hur kontinuerlig klippstil fortsätter filmen visuellt framåt, hur en rörelse kan bidra till klippningen och vad detta har för relation till humor. Med hjälp av Walter Murchs teorier om vad som motiverar att göra ett klipp, Bordwells och Thompsons teorier om hur olika klippningar och övergångar används och vilken påverkan dessa har på filmen samt Rosengrens teorier om klippning i komedifilm och Meyers (2000) teorier inom humor, undersöker uppsatsen klipptekniker samt övergångar och hur dessa kan förflytta filmen i tid och rum eller föra vidare en rörelse över ett klipp. Resultatet visar på att Edgar Wright, Jonathan Amos och Paul Machliss använder sig av flera sätt för att visa ett filmspråk i Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010) där fokuset ligger på hur rörelse, energi, förflyttning på ett överraskande och annorlunda sätt kan skapa humor. / The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010) way to use transitions and cuts and how they relate to humor and comedy. Three sequences that represent a breadth of different techniques and theories from cuts gets analyzed and explored. This to understand how transitions, for example a wipe, gets used, how the movie progresses with continuity editing and how the movement contributes to the editing and to the comedy. With the help of Walter Murch's theories about what motivate a cut, Bordwell and Thompson’s theories about how cuts and transitions is used and what impact this has on the movie and Rosengrens theories about editing comedy and Meyers (2000) theories about humor, the essay investigate editing techniques and transitions and how they are able to move the movie in space and time or transfer a motion in a transition. The result shows that Edgar Wright, Jonathan Amos and Paul Machliss uses a lot of different techniques to develop a visual style and in Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010) the focus lies on how motion, energy, movement and comedic timing drives the movie forward and perceived it as a comedy.

Sexmissbruk inom frikyrkan har länge varit ett tabubelagt ämne, präglat av skam och spår från en tid i Sverige då kyrka och stat var tätt sammankopplade och lagar kring utomäktenskapligt sex existerade. År 2022 belystes problemet i en artikel från Dagen, författad av representanter från den kristna stödorganisationen "Starta Om," som uppmanade till förlåtelse för den historiska skambeläggningen. Stigmatiseringen av sexmissbruk har varit en understuderad fråga, där den tidigare forskningen antyder att kristna individer ser pornografi som en beroendeframkallande faktor och en huvudsaklig orsak till sexmissbruk, i motsats till mindre religiösa personer. En studie från 2021 visade även att män med sexmissbruk mötte strängare bedömningar än kvinnor. Syftet med vår studie var att analysera attityder inom frikyrkan kring sexmissbruk, med frågor om förklaringar, förståelse, acceptans samt synen på män och kvinnor i relation till sexmissbruk. Metoden innefattade semistrukturerade intervjuer med ledare inom frikyrkan, där vi använde delar av analysmetoden grundad teori. Resultaten visade att frikyrkan kopplade sexmissbruk till pornografi som både en öppning samt en huvudsaklig orsak. Okunskap, från brist på diskussion om sexmissbruk både inom frikyrkan och samhället i stort, framkom också. Dessutom visade resultaten att kvinnor med sexmissbruk möttes med mindre förståelse än män med samma problem. Vidare indikerade resultaten en skillnad i synen på manligt och kvinnligt sexmissbruk, där män tillskrevs hög sexuell lust medan kvinnor associerades med emotionella problem och möjliga psykiska svårigheter. / Sex addiction within the Swedish free church has historically been a taboo subject, characterized by shame and remnants of a period when the church and the state were closely intertwined with strict laws on extramarital sex. In 2022, the issue gained attention in a Dagen article by representatives from the Christian support organization "Starta Om," advocating forgiveness for the shame-induced stigmatization. The stigmatization of sexual addiction remains a neglected topic, with past research indicating that Christians often view pornography as an addictive factor and a primary cause of sexual addiction, in contrast to less religious individuals. A 2021 study highlighted that men facing sexual addiction encounter harsher judgments than women. Our study aimed to explore the Swedish free church attitudes toward sexual addiction, covering explanations, understanding, acceptance, and perceptions of men and women in relation to this issue. Conducted through semi-structured interviews with church leaders, the results revealed that the free church associated sexual addiction with pornography as both an entry point and a significant cause. The findings also uncovered ignorance resulting from a lack of discourse on sexual addiction within the church and society, with women receiving less understanding than men with the same problem. Moreover, the results hinted at a disparity in the perception of male and female sexual addiction, attributing high sexual desire to men while associating women with emotional and potential mental challenges.
