No. of bitstreams: 1 LuanCarlosOliveira.pdf: 3830694 bytes, checksum: c832e643ca1fc89969e8abd443a7b6a2 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-08-26 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) / The Internet of Things (IoT) is a paradigm in which smart objects collaborate actively with other physical and virtual objects available in the Internet. IoT environments are characterized by a high degree of heterogeneity of devices and network protocols. However, many challenging social and technological issues still need to be addressed, including the interoperability of devices, autonomous systems, privacy and security issues, which could have a significant impact on many aspects of everyday life of potential end user. To deal with these issues some type of middleware layer or frameworks to show fundamental enforce the seamless integration of devices and functionality within the same network information, providing security and reliability. Therefore, the objective of this work is to design and implement a secure and reliable framework in this scenario using the XMPP protocol (eXtensible Messaging and Presence Protocol). Based on the model publish / subscribe, the proposed framework has reliability mechanism for real-time communication, security features provided by the XMPP based on TLS and SASL authentication. Based on case studies demonstrate the framework’s ability reliability and the results demonstrate the feasibility of the model.

Kooperativní plánování projektů v aplikaci Getting Things GNOME / Cooperative Project Planning in Getting Things GNOME

Matušov, Izidor January 2013 (has links)
This work dicusses the extension for Getting Things GNOME which makes it possible to use it for planning and managment of cooperative projects. Reader is introduced to basics of project planning and project management and selected methods. The target audience and their needs for the extension were identified and their solutions were proposed. This work includes a walkthrough the extension of the user interface in the form of wireframes. The proposed extension was implemented and tested.

Analýza současných cloudových řešení / The analysis of modern cloud solutions

Kis, Matej January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes existing cloud storage systems. Description of the prerequisites of developing cloud and distributed systems are presented. Current storage systems such as Dropbox, iCloud and Google drive are described. Description is mainly focused on the resources of both protocols and derive a conclusion for the use in the cloud storage systems. The practical part of this work is focused on creating two labs, what will be implemented in the teaching syllabus of Projecting, Administration and Security of Computer Networks subject. The first of the labs is focused on the implementation of own cloud services. In the last lab students attention will concentrate on interception of communication secured with SSL protocol.

NPS AUV workbench: collaborative environment for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) mission planning and 3D visualization

Lee, Chin Siong 03 1900 (has links)
Approved for public release, distribution is unlimited / alities. The extensible Markup Language (XML) is used for data storage and message exchange, Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics for visualization and XML Schema-based Binary Compression (XSBC) for data compression. The AUV Workbench provides an intuitive cross-platform-capable tool with extensibility to provide for future enhancements such as agent-based control, asynchronous reporting and communication, loss-free message compression and built-in support for mission data archiving. This thesis also investigates the Jabber instant messaging protocol, showing its suitability for text and file messaging in a tactical environment. Exemplars show that the XML backbone of this open-source technology can be leveraged to enable both human and agent messaging with improvements over current systems. Integrated Jabber instant messaging support makes the NPS AUV Workbench the first custom application supporting XML Tactical Chat (XTC). Results demonstrate that the AUV Workbench provides a capable testbed for diverse AUV technologies, assisting in the development of traditional single-vehicle operations and agent-based multiple-vehicle methodologies. The flexible design of the Workbench further encourages integration of new extensions to serve operational needs. Exemplars demonstrate how in-mission and post-mission event monitoring by human operators can be achieved via simple web page, standard clients or custom instant messaging client. Finally, the AUV Workbench's potential as a tool in the development of multiple-AUV tactics and doctrine is discussed. / Civilian, Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency

Informační systém pro sledování prezence osob na základě více zdrojů / Information System for Monitoring of a Presence State from Multiple Points

Ryšavý, Libor January 2008 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with the problem of monitoring of a presence state from multiple points. It begins with analysis of presence information propagation in various systems and also with multiple points of presence in general terms. After that follows requirements analysis and design of information system which will evaluate presence information from multiple sources with various features and than display it graphically on plans or maps. At the conclusion there is described implementation and testing of developed information system.
