Lyžování a snowboardování na 1. stupni ZŠ / Skiing and snowboarding at first grade of elementary

Lutašová, Andrea January 2015 (has links)
This academic work deals with children who are school age or younger school age and their interest in skiing and snowboarding. It tries to expose the reason of decreasing attendance at ski courses offered by schools. The research made by questionnaire shows that most of the children attending lower grades of elementary schools do some sport. They would also like to attend the ski course but they often listed finances as the obstacle. The results of interviews made with teachers of elementary schools and high schools display that only the children who had experienced winter sports either before entering elementary school or soon after entering school want to participate. This work considers as important placing the ski courses at the first grade of the elementary schools. The number of children interested in winter sports would increase. More of them would consider participating at ski courses that help raising the physical and mental condition. Keywords: younger school age, physical activities, snowboarding, skiing

Stanovení enzymové aktivity cellobiasy pomocí kapilární elektroforézy / Determination of enzyme activity of cellobiase using capillary electrophoresis

Velvarská, Romana January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with optimization of capillary electrophoresis conditions for the separation of unreacted substrate and products (cellobiose, glucose) generated by the enzymatic cleavage of cellotriose with enzyme cellobiase. The optimal separation electrolyte was shown to be a solution containing 30 mmol·dm-3 sodium hydroxide with addition of 1.0 mmol·dm-3 sodium phosphate and 1.0 mmol·dm-3 sodium phosphate dibasic (pH = 12.38). With this separation electrolyte calibration curves and repeatability were measured and the limits of detection and quantification were determined. The relative standard deviations of peak areas ranged up to 6.1 % and they did not exceed 0.2 % for the migration time. Limits of detection were determined in the range from 0.020 to 0.026 mmol·dm-3 and limits of quantification from 0.066 mmol·dm-3 to 0.085 mmol·dm-3 . Subsequently the enzyme reaction was monitored in offline setup. Furthermore, the offline procedure was automated and the relative standard deviation of cellodextrines after 30 minutes of hydrolysis was ranging up to 13.0 % of glucose and cellotriose and 3.0 % cellobiose using this automated method, which makes it suitable for semiquantitative and comparative measurements. The last part of the experiment was to carry out enzymatic reaction in online setup....

Elektroencefalografické koreláty prolongovaného pohybového výkonu u profesionálních hudebníků / Electroencephalographic correlates of prolonged locomotor performance of professional musicians

Brabencová, Zuzana January 2014 (has links)
Title: Electroencephalographic correlates of prolonged locomotor performance of professional musicians Summary: The aim of this work is to verify the presence of alpha activity in the electroencephalographic recording during prolonged (20 minute) violin play and compare its morphological and topical parameters with the native EEG record before and after the performance. Research sample consisted of five professional violinist in the age range of 25- 60 years. The results showed the occurrence of alpha activity for four of five probands, in one case with a very low incidence. There has been also demonstrated changes in the distribution of alpha activity from parietooccipital areas before the preformance to central areas during the play and immediately after finishing. All probands showed increased amplitude of the alpha activity immediately after finishing. The obtained results confirm the changes of morphology and the changes of topic alpha activity during cognitive activities and at the onset of central fatigue during physical aktivity described in literature. These changes were demonstrated by increasing the amplitude of alpha activity and the shift from parietooccipital areas to central areas. Keywords: EEG, alpha aktivity, violin performance, brain mapping

Vliv inhibice proteazomu na antiproliferační účinek antracyklinových antibiotik. / The effect of the proteasome inhibition of the antiproliferative effect of anthracycline antibiotics.

Kroupová, Jana January 2016 (has links)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Jana Kroupová Supervisor: PharmDr. Anna Jirkovská, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: The effect of the proteasome inhibition of the antiproliferative effect of anthracycline antibiotics Anthracycline antibiotics (daunorubicin, doxorubicin) belong to the most effective antitumor drugs. In current clinical practice they are used mostly in the combinations with either "classical" or new targeted antitumor drugs. The proteasome inhibitors (bortezomib and carfilzomib) are also viewed as a part of new "targeted" antitumor drugs. The proteasome is a multienzyme complex in eukaryotic cells which is responsible for intracellular degradation of proteins. The proteasome inhibitors have been largely used in the therapy of multiple myeloma, but their potential has been also studied in the case of other malignancies. Their use in the combination with anthracyclines could be a possible alternative in the therapy of some tumor illnesses, but the effect of combination of anthracyclines and proteasome inhibitors on tumor cells have not been sufficiently explained. The anthracycline therapy is also accompanied by serious adverse side effect - the cardiotoxicity, which potential could be influenced by the...
