Pesquisa-se a Rota Romântica e a atividade turística relacionada aos recursos e atrativos da cultura de imigração alemã presentes nos municípios que formam o roteiro. Municípios esses localizados nas regiões do Vale do Sinos, Encosta da Serra e Região das Hortênsias no Rio Grande do Sul. O trabalho visa contribuir para a valorização da cultura de imigração alemã, especialmente no que se refere aos recursos dessa cultura definidos como atrativos turísticos. O estudo desenvolve-se em três momentos conforme o Método Regressivo - Progressivo. Assim, a partir da fundamentação teórica, da coleta de dados in loco e da pesquisa de memória oral, elencam-se os recursos e atrativos de cultura de imigração alemã existentes nesses municípios e destaca-se a importância do envolvimento da comunidade e do visitante para um planejamento turístico sustentável. Esse entendimento resultou em pressupostos práticos comprometidos com as dimensões sociais e culturais possibilitando o desenvolvimento de atividades de Educação Patrimonial e de Interpretação Patrimonial. A primeira pode ser fundamental para a compreensão, por parte da comunidade, do patrimônio cultural existente em seu município e região. A segunda tem por objetivo proporcionar uma melhor compreensão desses valores, pelo visitante. These districts are located in the region of Vale dos Sinos, Encosta da Serra and Hortênsias, in Rio Grande do Sul. The research aims to contribute to the appreciation of German immigration culture, especially on what refers to the resources of this culture labeled as tourist attractions. The study is developed upon three different moments, as stated by the regressive/progressiv method proposed by Lefebvre. Thus, from the theoretical framework, the data collection in loco and the oral memory research, the resources and attractions of German immigration within these districts are listed highlighting the importance of the community participation and the visitor’s participation for a sustainable touristic planning. This understanding resulted in practical assumptions committed with social and cultural dimensions, and so enabling the development of Patrimonial Education and Interpretation. The first one might be crucial to the comprehension, by the community, of the cultural heritage of their district and region. The second one aims to provide better understanding of these values by the visitor. As they integrate the touristic cultural planning, these steps may become important if the goal reaches the sustainability of touristic activities.

Muitos alemães se transferiram para Rio Claro no contexto da crise da mão-de-obra escrava e chegaram ao Brasil para a lavoura do café. Obviamente, os mesmos queriam novas oportunidades de vida, ao mesmo tempo em que desejavam resguardar tradições, hábitos e costumes da terra natal. Para isso, tais imigrantes estabeleceram determinadas redes sociais, sendo, algumas destas, objetos dessa investigação, abrangendo três esferas sociais: Igreja, Escola e Clube de Ginástica, além de perpassar algumas questões da política local. Utilizaremos como fonte principal o Arquivo da Igreja Luterana, com assentos de batizado e casamento e documentos sobre a fundação da Escola Alemã, da Igreja Alemã e do Clube de Ginástica no município de Rio Claro / This study aims to analyze social networks established by German´s immigrants in Rio Claro in the period of the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Many Germans have moved to Rio Claro in the context of the crisis of slave labor in Brazil and came to the coffee plantations. Obviously, they wanted new life opportunities, and on the other hand they wanted to protect traditions, habits and customs of their homeland. To do so, such immigrants have established certain social networks, objects of this investigation, particularly regarding three social spheres: church, school and club gymnastics and, in addition, this study works upon some issues of local politics. We will use as the main source file of the Lutheran Church, with seating christening and marriage and documents about the founding of the German School, the Church and the German Gymnastics Club in the city during the late nineteenth century
