Para introduzir e contextualizar essa análise, apresenta na Primeira Parte um levantamento biográfico e histórico da vida do compositor. A Segunda Parte focaliza a obra. Introduz aspectos da Forma Sonata, bem como das formas características de cada um dos movimentos da Sonatina em questão: Toccata, Invenção e Cadenza. Segue com o estudo analítico da obra através das técnicas de análise musical desenvolvidas por Arnold Schoenberg e John White, e fundamentos teóricos sobre a harmonia do século XX, segundo Vincent Persichetti. Desse estudo são levantadas sínteses a respeito da linguagem empregada, quais os elementos composicionais característicos utilizados pelo compositor e como ele os manipula. Também de acordo com esse estudo analítico, estão indicadas sugestões sobre a execução da obra, apontando aspectos relevantes da interpretação pianística. A conclusão reúne as informações de maior interesse obtidas da análise efetuada, das orientações do próprio compositor a respeito da execução da obra, e da entrevista complementar realizada com o mesmo e com o fagotista Noel Devos no Rio de Janeiro. Em anexo se encontram: a edição do manuscrito original, realizada com uso de software de editoração de partituras musicais, e um CD com a gravação da obra; ambos executados pela autora dessa pesquisa / Abstract: The main objective of the present research is to ana1yzethe Sonatina for the Piano of Alceo Bocchino. In order to introduce and to structure the Analysis, the First Part presents biographical and historica1 data of the composer's life, while the Second Part focuses on the piece. The Second Part starts with aspects of Sonata Form and introduces the forms involved in each movement of the Sonatina: Toccata, Invention and Cadenza. It follows with the Analysis of the piece according to the techniques of musical ana1ysis developed by Amold Schoenberg and John White, and theoretical approaches about twentieth-century harmony by Vincent Persichetti. The analytical process leads up to syntheses, where it is possible to identify the compositional language used, the typical compositional elements, and how the composer uses them Furthermore, according to this ana1ytical study, there are suggestions concerning the performance of the piece, pointing to relevant aspects of piano interpretation. The conclusion gathers the most prominent information acquired from the Analysis, from the composer's advices on the performance of this piece and from the complementary interview with the composer and with the bassoonist Noel Devos in Rio de Janeiro. Visando o processo de geração de dados, a pesquisa propõe e descreve em detalhes uma atividade pedagógica que foi implementada em dois estudos empíricos consecutivos, envolvendo alunos de escola uma pública e de uma particular. Durante a pesquisa empírica, os participantes da pesquisa foram orientados a refletirem a respeito de seus gostos musicais e das relações existentes entre a influência da mídia e a formação de suas identidades culturais. Além disso, os jovens participantes tiveram a oportunidade de discutir questões relativas à diversidade cultural e a maneira pela qual os jovens se relacionam com diferentes linguagens e tecnologias em suas práticas culturais e durante atividades de leitura, de escuta e de produção escrita e oral. Os resultados empíricos indicam que a produção de podcast é uma alternativa promissora para incorporar um trabalho educativo com música em sala de aula. Os dados obtidos revelam que esse tipo de atividade oferece espaços interessantes para uso de tecnologias digitais em práticas de ensino, oportunidades novas para estímulo de leitura e produção de texto, além de instigar reflexões sobre critérios estéticos de apreciação artística e proporcionar vivências e trocas entre a diversidade cultural que é constitutiva do contexto de sala de aula / Abstract: This work presents a case study with students of primary and secondary education from the elaboration of a proposal for interdisciplinary teaching for the production of a radioblog. Support the process of data generation, the research proposes and describes in detail an educational activity implemented by two consecutive empirical studies, involving students from a public school and a private. During the empirical research, the researcher asked the participants to reflect about their musical tastes and the relationship between media influence and the formation of their cultural identities. In addition, young participants had the opportunity to discuss issues relating to cultural diversity and the way young people relate to different languages and technologies in their cultural practices and during reading, listening, written composition and oral production activities. The empirical results indicate that the production of podcast is a promising alternative to incorporate educational work with music in the classroom. The data show that this type of activity provides for interesting use of digital technologies in teaching practices, new opportunities for stimulating reading and text production spaces, besides instigating reflections on aesthetic criteria of artistic appreciation and provide experiences and exchanges between cultural diversity that constitutes the context of the classroom / Doutorado / Linguagem e Tecnologia / Doutor em Linguística Aplicada

A pesquisa tem como preocupação refletir sobre a experiência de Arte-Educação em exposições a partir do estudo da exposição Labirinto da Moda: Uma Aventura Infantil, realizada pelo SESC - São Paulo de 1996 a 1998, com a curadoria de Gláucia Amaral. A partir do estudo de aspectos do processo expositivo (concepção, musealização e realização) e da reflexão sobre a especifidade do trabalho de monitoria (apreciação em exposições), propõe uma abordagem para a concepção de projetos educativos de exposições. Os procedimentos metodológicos baseiam-se em pesquisa ação participante e estudo de caso. / The research concerns a reflection over the experience of Art- Education in exhibitions, based on a study about the exhibition \"Labirinto da Moda: Uma Aventura Infantil\", carried out by SESC (Commerce\'s Social Service) in Sao Paulo, from 1996 to 1998, with the curatorship of Glaucia Amaral. Starting from studying aspects of the exhibition making process (conception, musealization and execution), and from the reflection about the specificities of the Educational Team\'s work (appreciation in exhibitions), this research proposes an approach for the process of conceiving educational projects for exhibitions. The methodological procedures are based on \"Participant Action-Research\" and \"Case Study\".

Objetivando a proposição de subsídios teóricos para a elaboração da interpretação desse repertório, este trabalho discute os sistemas de codificação, os procedimentos de transcrição e a execução musical do repertório em questão, por meio do diálogo entre as Práticas Interpretativas e a Musicologia Histórica, assumindo como vertentes metodológicas o estudo dos sistemas de codificação, a crítica textual e a análise interpretativa de gravações. / Abstract: This research is a critical study of transcriptions for the guitar repertoire for plucked string instruments, particularly vihuela, guitars and lutes of the century. XVI to XVIII. Aiming to propose theoretical basis for the elaboration of the interpretation of this repertoire, this paper discusses the coding systems, procedures transcription and musical performance of the repertoire in question through dialogue between the practices and Historical Musicology and Interpretation Practices, assuming as methodological approaches the study of coding systems, textual criticism and the interpretative analysis of recordings. / Mestre

Considerando a interação entre os textos literário e musical, típica do gênero "canção", e as relações sensoriais decorrentes da escuta e interpretação musical, a intenção é investigar o tratamento musical do compositor para os textos do artista. Procuraremos estabelecer aproximações entre o texto literário e as artes visuais, identificar analiticamente elementos musicais usados para reforçar o sentido do texto e estabelecer possíveis contribuições para a interpretação na transmissão desses elementos ao público, visando demonstrar experiências multissensoriais justificadas por conceitos de interdisciplinaridade e/ou sinestesia. / Abstract: This is this an analytical/interpretative study of the Ciclo Portinari, a set of eight songs for female voices (soprano and mezzo soprano) and piano, by composer João Guilherme Ripper (1959-), with texts by Cândido Portinari (1903-1962). Considering the interaction between the literary and musical texts, typical to the genre "song", and sensory relations arising from listening and musical interpretation, the intention is to investigate the composer's musical treatment of the artist's texts. We will seek to establish approximations between the literary text and the Visual Arts, identify analytically musical elements used to strengthen the sense of the text and establish possible contributions for interpretation in the transmission of these elements to the public, aiming to demonstrate multi-sensorial experiences justified by concepts of interdisciplinarity and/or synesthesia. / Mestre

A festividade dedicada a São Tiago é uma prática secular que acontece anualmente, sendo o Vominê, espécie de celebração da vitória ou exaltação à bravura, parte integrante do festejo. Investigar a prática musical do Vominê, considerando a maneira como esta opera em suas estruturas tanto musicais quanto sociais em seu contexto foi o nosso objetivo principal. Tendo como suporte as perspectivas teóricas da etnomusicologia, discutimos sobre as potencialidades representativas dessa prática musical em relação aos indivíduos que dela tomam parte, considerando a revisão da literatura consultada, a observação direta da realidade, e a análise cultural da prática musical como proposta por Chada, Blacking, Seeger e Geertz. / The present work problematizes aspects of the musical practice called Vominê, that integrates the Festa de São Tiago in Mazagão Velho, lacated in Amapá province. Supported by the theoretical perspectives of ethnomusicology, it is sought to reflect on the potentialities representative of this practice in relation to the individuals that take part of it. The Festivity of St. Tiago is a secular practice that happens annually, with Vominê, a kind of song of victory or exaltation of bravery, an integral part of this festivity. Investigating Vominê's practice, considering the way it operates in its musicais and social structures in its context is our main objective. In order to do so, we started with a review of the available literature and the direct observation of reality, considering the cultural analysis of the musical practice as proposed by Chada.

This is the question that will outline the following hypothesis: sublimation makes this experience possible by moving the spectator and eliciting one s desire to create. The idea that the work of art puts the spectator in an unsettled state that demands meaning will be explained by Freud s experience with Moses s statue, André Green s experience with the London Cartoon and Ada Morgenstern s experience with Perseus and Medusa. These authors will lead the readers into thinking sublimation as being closely related to artistic production. Moreover, this concept will be analyzed based on the psychoanalytical theory, going from Freud to other authors such as Laplanche, Loewald and Lacan, who also contributed to the development of the subject. The appreciation of Picasso s Guernica will be used in order to articulate appreciation and sublimation. This painting was responsible for a great psychic mobilization, which inspired reflection and an investigation about this state and its meanings. As an active part of the process, the writer s/spectator s associations will guide the research. In the moment the spectator is touched or surprised by the work of art, one s network of meanings is struck and one seeks significance to the cause of this surprise. The work of art, therefore, provokes ones desire to create / O que está atrelado à experiência que ocorre entre a obra e o espectador? Essa questão irá delinear a hipótese de que a sublimação propicia essa experiência ao mobilizar o espectador e suscitar nele o desejo de criar. A partir da experiência de Freud diante da estátua de Moisés, André Green diante do Cartão de Londres e de Ada Morgenstern diante de Perseu e Medusa, será desenvolvida a idéia de que a obra põe o espectador em um estado desconcertante que demanda um sentido. Esses autores nos farão pensar na noção de sublimação, a qual se encontra muito relacionada à produção artística. O conceito de sublimação será trabalhado à luz da teoria psicanalítica, partindo de Freud e buscando autores que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento dessa noção, entre estes, Laplanche, Loewald e Lacan. Para articular a apreciação e a sublimação, tomaremos a apreciação do quadro Guernica, de Picasso, que suscitou em mim uma enorme mobilização psíquica e motivou uma reflexão, uma análise acerca desse estado e suas conseqüentes significações. O que guia o desenvolvimento da pesquisa são as associações da escritora/espectadora implicada em todo o processo. Para tanto, foi feita a análise de um movimento de grande duração inserido em uma obra extensa, composta pelo austríaco Gustav Mahler (1860-1911): a Sinfonia nº3. Sobre esta obra foram realizadas três análises: formal segundo Schoenberg e Rosen; motívica, segundo Réti; e schenkeriana, segundo Salzer.Os métodos foram comparados entre si, de modo a identificarem-se as convergências e divergências entre eles; com base nas divergências e convergências, foramindicadas possibilidades de leitura da obra. Ao final, estes resultados foram confrontados com gravações realizadas por grandes orquestras, tendo à frente regentes reconhecidos como grandes intérpretes da obra de Mahler, verifinco como foram solucionados os problemas de divergência analítica e observando, ainda, se as convergências podem ser confirmadas em suas interpretações. / The present Master's Degree dissertation seeks to demonstrate that the utilization of different analytical methods to a single opus, and their posterior comparation, in an efficient method for the study of musical language, particularly of an specific opus, and that, through this procedure, information on theoretical and interpretative interest that go beyond the isolated utilization of each method can be reached. Therefore, three analysis of the first movement of Gustav Mahler's 3rd Symphony were made. The three analysis were; formal, according to Schoenberg and Rosen; motivic according to Réti; and schenkerian, according to Salzer. The methods were compared to each other so it would be possible to identify similarities and differences amont them. Then, based on these similarities and differences, possibilities of reading of the work were indicated. In the end, these results were confronted with recording made by great orchestras, conducted by great maestros well-known as great interpreters of Mahler's opus, verifying how the problems of analytical diffrences were resolved and observing as well if the similarities coud be confirmed in their interpretations.

A regressão foi estruturada na forma de painel, com dimensão temporal, para capturar a evolução no tempo, e com 130 países, de forma a garantir heterogeneidade à amostra. O resultado indica uma forte influência do produto per capita na evolução do tamanho relativo do setor manufatureiro, o que reforça o ponto da transformação estrutural e estabelece uma relação positiva entre apreciação da taxa de câmbio real e o peso da indústria. / This paper aims to investigate statistically the influence of economic indicators, such as, GDP per capita, real exchange rate, education, trade openness, government share of the GDP and population on the decline of the industrial sector as percentage of the GDP. The regression was structured in the form of a panel with time dimension to capture the evolution in time e with 130 countries to ensure the heterogeneity of the sample. The results point to a strong influence of the GDP per capita in the evolution of the relative size of the manufacturing sector, reassuring the idea of structural transformation, as well as they establish a positive relationship between the real exchange rate appreciation and the percentage of the industrial sector in the total product.

For this purpose, it was considered agricultural production of cotton, coffee, sugarcane (and its main derived products, sugar and ethanol), corn and soybean, cattle production and the industrial production of bleached hardwood kraft pulp focusing on its main raw material, the reforested eucalyptus plantations. Results were aligned with previous studies, where empirical evidence was found that rural land prices present a cointegration with some of the crop, livestock and forestry variables mentioned above, mainly in states with agriculture and / or forestry aptitude. On the macroeconomic side, basic interest rate was the only variable that presented cointegration with land prices for all states under assessment; exchange rate and availability of subsidized rural credit were not statistically significant variables. For the States with significant participation in Brazil´s agroforestry products balance, the study concludes that it is possible to model a long-term equilibrium between price of rural lands and variables highlighted above, in a way that can be used by investors as a projection tool to help in the decision processes and to evaluate potential impacts on the value of their assets. The improvement of this study was to test the hypothesis of cointegration for each of the States of the federation. / Este trabalho tem como proposta investigar como o preço de terras de uso rural no Brasil é afetado pelos preços e exportações das principais commodities agropecuárias, bem como por variáveis macroeconômicas, como taxa básica de juros, taxa de câmbio, taxa de inflação e disponibilidade de crédito agrícola. Para tal foram consideradas as produções agrícola de algodão, café, cana-de-açúcar (e seus principais produtos açúcar e etanol), milho e soja, a produção pecuária de carne bovina e a produção industrial de celulose de fibra curta com foco em sua principal matéria prima, os plantios reflorestados de eucalipto. Em linha com estudos anteriores, foi encontrada evidência empírica de que o preço da terra possui cointegração com algumas das variáveis agrícolas, pecuárias e florestais citadas, em especial em estados com maior vocação agropecuária e/ou para silvicultura. Quanto às variáveis macroeconômicas, apenas a taxa básica de juros apresentou cointegração com o preço de terras para todos os estados avaliados, taxa de câmbio e disponibilidade de crédito rural não aparecem como variáveis estatisticamente significantes. Conclui-se que, para estados com notável participação na balança comercial brasileira de produtos agrossilvipastoris, é possível obter um modelo de equilibro de longo prazo entre o preço da terra de uso rural e as variáveis destacadas acima, de modo que investidores do setor possam utilizá-lo como ferramenta de projeção no auxílio da tomada de decisão além de avaliar potenciais impactos no valor de seus ativos A inovação do presente estudo está em testar as hipóteses de cointegração para cada um dos estados da federação.
