IKT som verktyg för lärande i historia : en studie av gymnasielärares syn på IKT i historieundervisningen

Oxblod, Simon January 2013 (has links)
This essay examines the possibilities for the use of ICT for learning in the subject of history. By interviewing history teachers in upper secondary school about their experiences and thoughts regarding the subjects of learning, history and ICT, as well as the relations there between, based on Mishra and Koehlers TPACK model, I come to the conclusion that ICT may enhance learning in history. I also conclude that ICT may create new learning environments in history, where knowledge may or may not grow. The more unique ways of using ICT in history, compared to other school subjects, appears to be the possibility of using a variety of new sources, for example digitized primary sources from archives, that perhaps will motivate students, and make it possible to work from a con- structivistic point of view in history. Other unique possibilities are to satisfy the need of concretizing and visualizing the history being taught, by using a broad range of different media when presenting it.

”Vi ska höras å vi ska synas å vi ska finnas!” : Hur arkivpedagogiken kan främja hbtq-personers identitetsskapande / “We shall be heard, and we should be seen, and we shall exist!” : How archive pedagogy could benefit LGBTQ-people’s identity formation

Westerholm Persson, Nils January 2022 (has links)
This thesis examines how archives and archival pedagogy can be used to increase the visibility and availability of LGBTQ-history. The aim of this thesis is to explore how archival pedagogy can be used to benefit LGBT-people’s identity formation and what role(s) archives could offer. The thesis is based in textual analysis combined with a visit at QRAB, Sweden’s only LGBTQ archive, and research into the kind of archival materials available. It uses queer theory, norm critical pedagogy and archival pedagogy to evaluate the materials available as well as develop an example of an archival pedagogical tool known as the “archive suitcase.” Both literature and archival material with direct connection to LGBTQ-history have been usedfor a historical summary over Sweden’s LGBTQ-history. The visit to QRAB also resulted in a presentation of archival materials available and an example for the archive suitcase with a focus on trans and gender nonconforming history. The study concludes that archives have a major role to play in the advancement and promotionof LGBTQ-history and therefore also in LGBTQ-people’s identity formations. It also accounts for ways the archives can use their existing archival material in their archival pedagogy outreach. This is a master’s thesis in Archival Science.

Dåsiga dromedarer behöver källhänvisningar : En uppsats om nuvarande arkivpedagogiska strategier för tillgängliggörande av arkiven på svensk kommunal nivå / Drowsy dromedaries need source references : A study of current archive-based teaching and learning strategies for archival availability on the Swedish municipal level

Lindholm, Daniel January 2020 (has links)
This study was written with the aim to shed light on which strategies were employed by all 26 Swedish municipal archives in the Stockholm region to attract users to the archives at the time of writing. This was done by asking questions about archive-based teaching and learning via survey to municipal archivists, analyzing the webpages of the municipal archives for information about making the cultural heritage available in non-traditional active ways, and studying the ”archival regulations” or ”archival guidelines” which specify archival management and responsibilities on the municipal level. The results show that archives in most cases are understaffed and that archive-based teaching and learning has a low priority in the municipal archives, even though in most of the cases the archival regulations specify an obligation to actively promote usage of the material in cultural and scientific contexts. The study doesn’t find a link between obligations specified in the documents and municipal commitment to making the archival material available in abovementioned non-traditional ways. The study sums up the current archive-based teaching and learning strategies for the examined archives based on the above sources. The author of the study hopes that the results will provide fuel for the discussion regarding municipal archives and the role they should play in making the cultural heritage available to the public.
