Garra, Simone, Riol Gala, Raúl 25 September 2017 (has links)
In the framework of the self-determination process of ‘indigenous integral territories’ led by the Coordinadora Regional de los Pueblos Indígenas (CORPI), the Awajún and Wampis organizations have been defining their territories in a series of intra- and inter-ethnic meetings, objectifying their relationship with their respective geographic areas. In this sense, such process of indigenous autonomization interacts with State models and political institutions. In this paper,on the basis of our participation in anthropological reports to support the demand for recognition of ‘integral territories’, we try todescribe and analyze the dynamics of local autonomy, supra-local alliances and inter-ethnic borders among the Awajún and Wampis and how such dynamics have mobilized them facing the increasing pressure by the national society and global capitalism.

Auswirkungen unterschiedlicher ETCS-Bremskurven an Landesgrenzen

Schwenzer, Robert 29 September 2021 (has links)
Based on a Europe-wide research, an interactive map with relevant information on ETCS equipment has been created. Level 2 to Level 2 transitions are the most common. The different baselines influence the brake curve calculation. Due to the introduction of binding calculation methods only from baseline 3, only few statements can be made about baseline 2. SRS 3.4.0 and SRS 3.6.0 differ only marginally in the pre-indication or perturbation location and the indication curve (I). The national values, however, have a major influence on the brake curve calculation, as the simulation with different model trains shows. Accordingly, at national borders, braking curve jumps occur at the RBC border signal, where the new parameters are transmitted by means of packet 3. For the same border crossing, the jumps can be different - either upwards or downwards. Different brake curve steps are also possible within a train's brake curve group. If the brake curve steps are negative, i.e. downwards, critical situations arise. Especially a negative jump of the emergency brake intervention curve (EBI) is to be regarded as safety-critical, as in this case the national safety level is violated. Depending on the time horizon, regulatory and structural solution options are identified to prevent brake curve steps. While in the short term solutions such as the installation of a permanent slow speed section or an operational arrangement for train drivers are recommended, in the medium term the inclusion of a minimum distance between the RBC border signal and the following signal in the planning guideline makes sense. In the long term, on the alternative, the temporary storage of the new national values until the end of authority is changed due to an ETCS function extension or the definition of pan-European values as a solution may be expedient.:1 Einführung 1.1 Motivation 1.2 Zweck der Arbeit 1.3 Abgrenzung der Arbeit 2 Grundlagen 2.1 Erläuterung der ETCS-Brems- und Überwachungskurven 2.1.1 Pre-Indication Location 2.1.2 Perturbation Location 2.1.3 Ankündigungskurve (I) 2.1.4 Führungskurve (GUI) 2.1.5 Sollbremskurve (P) 2.1.6 Warnkurve (W) 2.1.7 Vollbrems-Einsatzkurve (SBI) 2.1.8 Vollbrems-Ablaufkurve (SBD) 2.1.9 Schnellbrems-Einsatzkurve (EBI) 2.1.10 Schnellbrems-Ablaufkurve (EBD) 2.2 Einflussfaktoren auf ETCS-Bremskurven 2.2.1 Allgemeine Zugdaten 2.2.2 Allgemeine Streckendaten 2.2.3 Bremsspezifische Zugdaten 2.2.4 Nationale Werte 2.2.5 Baselines 2.3 ETCS-Bremsmodelle 2.3.1 Lambda-Modell 2.3.2 Gamma-Modell 2.3.3 Vergleich der Bremsmodelle 3 Recherche der ETCS-Systemvarianten in Europa 3.1 Aufbereitung einer interaktiven Karte 3.2 Auswertung der Datenrecherche 4 Simulation von ETCS-Bremskurven 4.1 Methodik 4.1.1 Festlegung der Musterzüge 4.1.2 Festlegung der Musterstrecke 4.1.3 Berechnungsroutine 4.2 Randbedingungen 4.3 Simulation und Vergleich der ETCS-Bremskurven für europäische Länder 4.3.1 Simulation 135 Brh Musterzug 4.3.2 Simulation BTSF3 Güterzug 4.3.3 Simulation schlecht bremsender Güterzug 4.3.4 Simulation typisch bremsender Güterzug 4.3.5 Simulation IC 2 4.3.6 Simulation ICE 4 4.3.7 Vergleich und Auswertung weiterer Besonderheiten 4.4 Simulation der ETCS-Bremskurven an Landesgrenzen 5 Analyse simulierter ETCS-Bremskurven an Landesgrenzen 6 Maßnahmen und Anforderungen an europäische Grenzübergänge 6.1 Regulatorische Lösungsansätze 6.1.1 Zwischenspeicherung der nationalen Werte 6.1.2 Vorbedingung für die Belegung von Blockabschnitten 6.1.3 Anpassung der Bremskurvenberechnung über D_EOASVL 6.1.4 Standort Paket 3 vom RBC-Grenzsignal entkoppeln 6.1.5 Betriebliche Anordnung für Triebfahrzeugführer 6.2 Bauliche Lösungsansätze 6.2.1 Einrichtung einer Langsamfahrstelle 6.2.2 Mindestabstand RBC-Grenzsignal zu Folgesignal 6.3 Empfehlung 6.3.1 Vergleich 6.3.2 Kurzfristige Lösung 6.3.3 Mittelfristige Lösung 6.3.4 Langfristige Lösung 7 Fazit Abkürzungsverzeichnis Abbildungsverzeichnis Tabellenverzeichnis Literaturverzeichnis Erklärung Verzeichnis der Anlagen

Posouzení funkčnosti různých modifikací větrací vyústky pro kabinu osobního vozu / Evaluation of functionality of several modifications of ventilation outlet for passenger car cabin

Caletka, Petr January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis deals with determination of boundaries of the flow from a benchmark automotive vent (right-front situated – in front of a front passenger) using the smoke visualization. In this thesis is tested a pack of eight different constructional variants which differ among them by the type of deflection grille. The angles of the flow borders are compared to specific directional requirements (defined by ŠKODA AUTO a.s.) and there is evaluated a directability of each of the constructional variant on the bases of these results. The results of experiments show that better directability in vertical plane achieve deflection grilles with horizontal vanes situated closer to orifice of the vent or deflection grilles with higher number of horizontal vanes and lower number of vertical vanes (independently of their location). Directability of the deflection grilles in horizontal plane is analogically better with vertical vanes situated closer to orifice of the vent or with deflection grilles with higher number of vertical vanes and lower number of horizontal vanes (independently of their location).

Queer Central American Migrants Imagining Livable Lives : a study on how vulnerability of LGBTQ migrants is (re)produced during migration in Mexico and the role of religious shelters

Bennet, Isadora January 2020 (has links)
The migration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans- and queer (LGBTQ) people from Central America to or through Mexico has increased in recent years. People are leaving spaces of violence and exclusion related to their sexual and/or gender identity and search conditions for a livable life. Yet, the migration implies an exposure to different sorts of violence, wherefore this thesis explores how the vulnerability of Central American queer people is (re)produced in a situation of human mobility in Mexico. Further, the thesis examines how protection is made (im)possible for the LGBTQ community in religious shelters. The research is based on qualitative research and thirteen semi-structured interviews, carried out in Mexico in 2020, with representatives from shelters, universities and civil society organizations working with migrants and LGBTQ people.   Queer people are disproportionally exposed to vulnerability in Mexico and migrating does not necessary imply that life becomes livable. Since their lives are likely to be understood as ungrievable lives by the heteronormative society, the violence and the exposure to vulnerability of this populations becomes largely invisible. Thus, religious shelters both include and exclude LGBTQ people, depending on how they imagine boundaries.

Proměny světového řádu a humanitarismus / Transformations of World Order and Humanitarianism

Kárník, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The master thesis deals with the historical development of humanitarian aid against the backdrop of transformations of the world order. Firstly, the thesis scrutinizes the differences between the classical humanitarianism of the Red Cross and the so-called new humanitarianism, which emerged during the Nigerian civil war (1967-1970). Secondly, the thesis demonstrates that although the new humanitarianism tends to be presented in an opposition to and as a more historically advanced form of the classic humanitarianism, when examined in a more detailed manner, the two humanitarian approaches face similar dilemmas in relation to political power. The overcoming of the "end of history" era, which gave rise and prominence to the new humanitarianism, opened discussion about the alternatives to the future of the world order. This shift allows us to formulate the main argument of the thesis - the evolution of the humanitarianism should not be seen as teleological and linear but as a continuous process in which both the classic and the new humanitarianism need to balance between strict legalism which can lead to moral failure and exaggerated moralism which can have consequences contradicting the basic principles of humanitarian action. Keywords: classical humanitarianism, new humanitarianism, human rights,...

Spolupráce Pohraniční stráže s civilním obyvatelstvem v šedesátých a sedmdesátých letech: příklad Chebska / Cooperation of Border guards with civic inhabitants in 60's and 70's era: example of Cheb region

Jaška, Petr January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with theme of collaboration Border Guard troops with the civilian sector its focusing on 60's and 70's era. The topic is an overview compiled since 1945, because of better context. Work aims to map and describe the process whereby the collaborating fifth brigade of border guards in the geographic region Cheb region with residents and how the civilians had been involved to guard state borders. The author based primarily on archival material stored in the Security Services Archive in Brno - Kanice and the previously published literature. The author also used interviews with former professional officers. These interviews compiled by the method of oral history. The main criteria were chosen on the number of assistant border guards, as well as young border guards and the number of persons who were attempting to cross the state border detained for using the civilian sector. But also, many other factors were considered. The result of this work is the finding that the border guard cooperation with the civilian sector shows an upward trend in the period from the fifties to the late seventies. The highlight of this cooperation was the second half of the seventies. In the sixties, and especially the second half of the sixties, the brigade was forced to intensify the use of civilians...

La Frontière/Il Confine: Migration and the Border between Italy and France

Sundal, Kendra January 2014 (has links)
Bibliographic Note Sundal, Kendra. 2013. La Frontière/Il Confine: French and Italian Migration Discourse. 85 pages. Master's thesis. Charles University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Political Studies. Supervisor doc. PhDr. RNDr. Nikola Hynek, M.A., PgDipRes, PhD Abstract This work analyzes the historical background and discourse on migration in Italy and France, focusing on migration from and through former colonies in North Africa. Drawing on a feminist methodological approach, the work discusses how migrants may be perceived or treated differently based on gender, and how this impacts (or is impacted by) policies. In particular, one illustrative event, the closure of the Franco-Italian border in April 2011, is analyzed more deeply using the theory of domopolitics as introduced by William Walters. By tracing the history and the discourse about migration and integration from colonial times to the present, this event and other recent debates related to Mediterranean migration are contextualized. Key Terms: migration, France, Italy, borders, Arab Spring, domopolitics, feminist methodology, discourse analysis, historical representation
