Previous issue date: 2007-08-24 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / My intention in writing this paper is to reflect about a proposal of work with lyric singers that attaches the artistic development to the personal development.
The presented approach has a psychoanalytic basis, especially founded on the English Middle Group.
The theoretical references, besides Freud, are Michael Balint and Hans Loewald.
Together with the psychoanalysis method base, body therapy techniques (Calatonia and Subtle Touches ) are used, as well as dance techniques (Klauss Vianna method) and drama techniques.
A clinical diary, constructed for the three presented cases, was analysed so it became possible to figure out the transference handling within a non psychoanalytical context.
I could notice that the object relations and the sublimation are aspects deeply linked to the artistic construction of the scene.
Due to this perception, my intention is to discuss such processes both in psychoanalytic and artistic settings.
To conclude, I have made an inventory of wins, losses, borders and possibilities that have brought about through this approach.
In final considerations, I will present the professional changes occurred on my professional posture due to this experience / O presente trabalho busca refletir acerca de uma proposta de trabalho com o cantor lírico que atrela seu desenvolvimento artístico ao pessoal.

Some aspects of Cantor setsNg, Ka Shing January 2014 (has links)
For every positive, decreasing, summable sequence $a=(a_i)$, we can construct a Cantor set $C_a$ associated with $a$. These Cantor sets are not necessarily self-similar. Their dimensional properties and measures have been studied in terms of the sequence $a$.
In this thesis, we extend these results to a more general collection of Cantor sets. We study their Hausdorff and packing measures, and compare the size of Cantor sets with the more refined notion of dimension partitions. The properties of these Cantor sets in relation to the collection of cut-out sets are then considered. The multifractal spectrum of $\mathbf{p}$-Cantor measures on these Cantor sets are also computed. We then focus on the special case of homogeneous Cantor sets and obtain a more accurate estimate of their exact measures. Finally, we prove the $L^p$-improving property of the $\mathbf{p}$-Cantor measure on a homogeneous Cantor set as a convolution operator.

C1 = ABA;C2= C1B2C1;...;Cn= Cn-1BnCn-1

Grafická reprezentace genomických a proteomických sekvencí / Graphical representation of DNA and protein sequencesPražák, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
Modification of DNA sequences and their suitable representation is important part of analysis, comparison and another processing. Goal of this paper is finding of suitable methods for representation of genomic and proteomic sequences. Because there is great number of metods, this paper will introduce only some of them. All selected methods, are described in the first part of this paper and they were programed in Matlab. Selected methods are illustrated on coding sequences of the first exon of the b-globin gene of 11 different species. Results are compared withresults from the original papers. Some methods are capable of another processing like cluster analysis. Output of this paper is comparison of results, gained from different methods, and finding the most suitable one.

Statistické vyhodnocení fylogeneze biologických sekvencí / Statistic evaluation of phylogeny of biological sequencesZembol, Filip January 2013 (has links)
The topic of my diploma thesis is the statistical evaluation of biological sequences with the help of phylogenic trees. In the theoretical part we will create a literary recherche of estimation methodology concerning the course of phylogeny on the basis of the similarity of biological sequences (DNA and proteins) and we will focus on the inaccuracies of the estimation, their causes and the possibilities of their elimination. Afterwards, we will compare the methods for the statistical evaluation of the correctness of the course of phylogeny. In the practical part of the thesis we will suggest algorithms that will be used for testing the correctness of the phylogenic trees on the basis of bootstrapping, jackknifing, OTU jackknifing and PTP test which are able to the capture phylogenic tree with the method neighbor joining from the biological sequences in FASTA code. It is also possible to change the distance model and the substitution matrix. To be able to use these algorithms for the statistical support of phylogenic trees we have to verify their right function. This verification will be evaluated on the theoretical sequences of the amino acids. For the verification of the correct function of the algorithms, we will carry out single statistical tests on real 10 sequences of mammalian ubiquitin. These results will be analysed and appropriately discussed.

Almost Homeomorphisms and InscrutabilityAndersen, Michael Steven 01 December 2019 (has links)
“Homeomorphic'' is the standard equivalence relation in topology. To a topologist, spaces which are homeomorphic to each other aren't merely similar to each other, they are the same space. We study a class of functions which are homeomorphic at “most'' of the points of their domains and codomains, but which may fail to satisfy some of the properties required to be a homeomorphism at a “small'' portion of the points of these spaces. Such functions we call “almost homeomorphisms.'' One of the nice properties of almost homeomorphisms is the preservation of almost open sets, i.e. sets which are “close'' to being open, except for a “small'' set of points where the set is “defective.'' We also find a surprising result that all non-empty, perfect, Polish spaces are almost homeomorphic to each other.A standard technique in algebraic topology is to pass between a continuous map between topological spaces and the corresponding homomorphism of fundamental groups using the π1 functor. It is a non-trivial question to ask when a specific homomorphism is induced by a continuous map; that is, what is the image of the π1 functor on homomorphisms? We will call homomorphisms in the image of the π1 functor “tangible homomorphisms'' and call homomorphisms that are not induced by continuous functions “intangible homomorphisms.'' For example, Conner and Spencer used ultrafilters to prove there is a map from HEG to Z2 not induced by any continuous function f : HE→ Y , where Y is some topological space with π1(Y ) = Z2. However, in standard situations, such as when the domain is a simplicial complex, only tangible homomorphisms appear..Our job is to describe conditions when intangible homomorphisms exist and how easily these maps can be constructed. We use methods from Shelah and Pawlikowski to prove that Conner and Spencer could not have constructed these homomorphisms with a weak version of the Axiom of Choice. This leads us to define and examine a class of pathological objects that cannot be constructed without a strong version of the Axiom of Choice, which we call the class of inscrutable objects. Objects that do not need a strong version of the Axiom of Choice are scrutable. We show that the scrutable homomorphisms from the fundamental group of a Peano continuum are exactly the homomorphisms induced by a continuous function.
