Analizinės spalvų atitikimo funkcijų išraiškos / Analytical expressions of color-matching functionsNariūnienė, Žydrūnė 27 June 2013 (has links)
Tarptautinė apšvietimo komisija (TAK) 1931 m. akies reakcijai į spalvas aprašyti eksperimentiškai nustatytos ir pradėtos naudoti r(λ), b(λ), g(λ) funkcijos. Tačiau šių funkcijų analizinės išraiškos gana netikslios (Gauso funkcija) ir gremėzdiškos (Furje eilutė). / The thesis problem. The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) to describe eye reaction to colours in 1931, experimentally identified and began using functions r(λ), b(λ), g(λ). However, the analytic expressions of these functions are not explicit enough (the Gaussian function) and cumbersome (a Fourier series). The main aim of the thesis – to find simple analytic expressions of the functions r(λ), b(λ), g(λ), which could be adapted for practical calculations.

Object Poetry : Shaping Through KnitBerglind Stefánsdóttir, Jóna January 2018 (has links)
Textile design has long been known for its craft related and traditional ways of working. Different designers and artist have found a way of approaching the field from an unconventional perspective. The aim of this project is to demonstrate an alternative way of approaching the field by applying traditional methods to unconventional materials. By doing so the hope is to bring joy and playfulness to the field. As a final result the three groups consisting of nine objects present ways that knit can be used to sculpt and to lend flexibility when combined with stiffer structures, therefore giving way for movement and transformability. Object Poetry engages the viewer to interact and experience fun.

Färgassociationer i Västvärlden / Colour associations of the WestBackollas, Sofia January 2018 (has links)
There are quite a few articles that addresses the area of colour associations. Where some focus on what associations certain colours has, while others write about colour combinations or cultural and geographical differences when it gets to colour associations. Then there are articles concerning marketing and colour importance as well. The aim for this thesis was to create an overview of colour associations, because there is quite a bit of literature to be found about this subject. Also, to see which colours that are linked to certain associations, and to highlight the importance of colour in marketing. Eight articles concerning this subject, both scientific and experience-based articles were selected. Thereafter they were analysed and compiled into a table containing the colours associated to certain association. These tables were sorted by positive, negative and gender associations. The conclusion is that an association can contain multiple colours and a single colour can contain multiple associations. Black is often associated with something negative, whereas there are other colours such as orange and green that are solely positive. Something that is important to consider about marketing and colour associations is that colour is dependable in which context it is used. Which means you shouldn’t focus too much on what a single colour is associated with, but instead have in mind what context said colour are to be used in.

The subject of this thesis is to investigate the Italian names of colours, placing them into context and issue of translation of the names of colours into Czech. The thesis has two parts. The first part theoretical deals in general with colours and colour terms, colour perception, symbologies, research and etymology. This thesis also analyse the process of colour perception throughout history and in the evolution of humans. In the practical part we will then get through five subdivisions to the terms from the area of biology (the names of plants and animals), in which there occurs any of Italian names of colours then we get to idiomatic expressions, uniting with the verb, comparison and collocation, in which there also occur terms indicating colours. In all of these five areas, we analyse similarity between the two languages by using analogous databases in Czech language and translation into Czech language. The aim of this thesis is delimitation of colour terms in the Italian language, their definition, putting into context, confrontation of loose and established closer links and also their comparison with Czech.

January 2005 (has links)
Abstract: Several methods have been employed in the study of the alveolar repair process. For this reason, the aim of this study is to present a methodology that allows the use of fluorochromes in the analysis of this process. Thus, 5 rats had their upper right central incisors extracted. At day 6 calcein was injected, at day 15 alizarin was injected, and at day 21, oxytetracycline was injected. After 35 days the animals were euthanized. After the samples were obtained, the middle third of the socket was analyzed. Predominance of calcein was observed next to the lingual wall. A great amount of alizarin staining and a smaller amount of oxytetracycline staining were also observed, showing that there was a smaller rate of bone mineralization. This study was able to show the dynamics of the socket repair process in a clear and illustrative manner, besides being easy to reproduce and relatively inexpensive. / Orientador: Wilson Roberto Poi / Coorientador: Roberta Okamoto / Banca: Ana Maria Pires Soubhia / Banca: Luiz Antônio Salata / Mestre

Categorização do nível de letramento científico dos alunos de ensino médio / Categorizing the level of scientific literacy of high school studentsJonny Nelson Teixeira 12 November 2007 (has links)
This work had beginning from the reading of an article published in scientific magazine that questioned the scientific literacy of the Brazilian pupils, in accordance with assessment made in countries pertaining the OCDE and guests, where Brazil was in one of them finishes places. The objective of this work was to elaborate from theories of researchers of the area, a test to measure and to classify level of scientific literacy of High School students, being used basic concepts of theory of the colors, absorption, reflection and transmission light and vision for realization of the measures. According with the answers of the students in this test, we could define in which level of scientific literacy the students were, thus having one more complete vision of the basics knowledge of optics of the students being able to suggest work methodologies so that future the professors of Physics can improve the levels of scientific literacy of High School students.
