Цель исследования: проанализировать потенциал и разработать программу продвижения поселка Сарана на основе развития сферы услуг в рамках сельского туризма в Красноуфимском районе Свердловской области. Объект исследования: продвижение территории через развитие сельского туризма. Научная новизна магистерской диссертации состоит в обобщении и модификации существующих методик повышения привлекательности сельского туризма для граждан и инвесторов, разработке практических маркетинговых инструментов и мероприятий для развития сферы услуг сельского туризма на примере ранее не исследуемой дестинации. Практическая значимость исследования заключается в разработке рекомендаций методического характера и комплекса маркетинговых и коммуникационных инструментов, позволяющих повысить привлекательность сельского туризма и развить данную сферу туристического кластера для максимального количества целевых групп стейкхолдеров. Эффективность рекомендаций: рекомендации, предложенные автором, могут стать основой для процесса развития изученной в работе сельской местности, а также дополнить базу практических знаний о коммуникационных инструментах продвижения территории, путем развития сельской местности. / The purpose of the study: to analyze the potential and develop a program to promote the village of Sarana based on the development of the service sector within the framework of rural tourism in the Krasnoufimsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. The object of the study is the promotion of the territory through the development of rural tourism. The scientific novelty of the master's thesis consists in generalizing and modifying existing methods of increasing the attractiveness of rural tourism for citizens and investors, developing practical marketing tools and measures for the development of rural tourism services using the example of a previously unexplored destination. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of methodological recommendations and a set of marketing and communication tools that make it possible to increase the attractiveness of rural tourism and develop this area of the tourism cluster for the maximum number of target groups of stakeholders. Effectiveness of recommendations: the recommendations proposed by the author can become the basis for the development process of the rural area studied in the work, as well as complement the base of practical knowledge about communication tools for promoting the territory through rural development.

The purpose of this study is to determine which marketing communication methods tour operators in Gauteng, registered with SATSA, utilise. Tour operators aim to enhance tourist experiences. Companies need to be exposed to the marketplace to attract and keep business, thus marketing communication methods used by tourism organisations are examined at length.
The results for the study were obtained using a web-based questionnaire. Main findings include the fact that SATSA-registered tour operators frequently use interactive media, direct marketing and advertising. Word of mouth was continually regarded as an important marketing communication method. The larger the company, the more likely it is to use advertising. Interactive media can be used by small and large companies alike. Many marketing communication methods that are used frequently were not deemed to be efficient. One may therefore conclude that SATSA-registered tour operators in Gauteng prefer to use interactive media. / Business Management / M. Comm. (Business Management)

Knowledge management (KM) has been cited as a strategic asset and a source of competitive advantage for organisations. While the issues of KM have been widely discussed by many researchers, there is a paucity of studies pertaining to the role of KM in enhancing organisational performance, especially in the banking sector. The focus of this research was to investigate the role of KM in enhancing organisational performance in selected banks of South Africa. The objective was to find out how knowledge was identified, captured, organised and retained in order to enhance performance of the banks. There is uncertainty about whether the use of KM could partly solve the banks‟ approaches to improving their quality of service to their communities in the modern information environment. Though KM has been implemented in commercial and business environments towards operational advantages and financial gains, KM survival principles and tools might help South African banks improve performance and fulfil their mandate. Knowledge, when properly managed, can significantly enhance an organisation‟s performance. The research design that was used in this study was an embedded case study design. Quantitative data were collected from a sample of middle level managers with the aid of a survey whilst interviews and document analysis were used to collect qualitative data. The findings of this study indicated that KM concepts were not universally understood at selected banks. The findings showed that collaboration between banks and the communities in creating a meaningful and relevant knowledge environment was essential for the survival of organisations. The banking industry practices were not deliberately based on KM but the study established that they were amenable to KM practices. The recommendation was to perform a knowledge inventory which could help develop appropriate institution-wide policies and practices for proper and well-organised methods of integrating work processes, collaborating and sharing (including the efficient use of knowledge technology platforms), and developing an enabling institutional culture. / Information Science / D. The diploma thesis focuses on a European activity eTwinning and its implementation within the system of education. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the activity and its main principles, as well as its goals and management. The emphasis is also put on its position within the conception of lifelong learning. The thesis presents the development of the activity since its lunch in 2005 until now, describes its original direction to be followed at the beginning as well as the gradual changes that happened during its further implementation. The practical part defines the main internet tools offered by eTwinning to its users and describes those in detail. In the last part, three eTwinning projects are presented as good practice examples from the Czech Republic. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to present the European activity in as broad context as possible and from different points of view. All the data used are based on relevant literature and other sources.

The diploma thesis is focused on the search for opportunities for distance learning of the Czech language at primary schools. The aim of the work is to deal in detail and find out how distance learning of the Czech language takes place at primary schools and what is the level of adoption of teaching among pupils who are learning a distance form of study. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with a general treatise of primary education and education. It also briefly characterizes the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. Then it analyzes distance education in detail, briefly defines communication tools and in the end summarizes the subject Czech language and its teaching. The practical part contains two research surveys, which are structured in detail. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. In the first research survey, it finds out the effectiveness of Czech language distance education at selected primary schools in specific grades of primary school. It also characterizes the work of a teacher in online Czech language lessons.
