No mundo pÃs-moderno que à influenciado constantemente pela tecnologia, a educaÃÃo e consequentemente o processo de ensino e aprendizagem invariavelmente sofrerà mudanÃas. Logo, torna-se necessÃrio a concepÃÃo de estratÃgias didÃticas alternativas, procurando-se estabelecer vinculaÃÃes entre o uso pedagÃgico do computador e o laboratÃrio de prÃticas cientÃficas, como ferramentas de apoio pedagÃgico ao desenvolvimento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. A presente pesquisa focou-se na concepÃÃo de estratÃgias de ensino e aprendizagem atravÃs da realizaÃÃo de sessÃes didÃticas de QuÃmica mediada pelo computador e pela experimentaÃÃo. Tal articulaÃÃo se deu atravÃs da uniÃo pedagÃgica dos laboratÃrios de experimentaÃÃo cientÃfica e de informÃtica com o objetivo de facilitar, aos alunos do 2Âano do ensino mÃdio, a aprendizagem de conhecimentos de FÃsico-QuÃmica, especificamente a pilha de Daniel. Tal pesquisa ancorou-se na proposta construcionista de Valente e no advento das tecnologias digitais que oportunizou a aprendizagem mediada pelo computador, proposto por Pierre Levy. Realizou-se a construÃÃo de um software educativo multimÃdia com o fim de simular a prÃtica experimental da pilha de Daniel, enaltecendo-se a construÃÃo colaborativa de conhecimentos, competÃncias e habilidades. Tais aÃÃes foram realizadas com a participaÃÃo de quatorze alunos do 2 ano do ensino mÃdio de uma escola pÃblica do municÃpio do EusÃbio no CearÃ, concebidas em seis etapas: construÃÃo de um software, aula teÃrica-tradicional, aula prÃtica-virtual mediada pelo computador, avaliaÃÃo do software, prÃtica-experimental e teste avaliativo. A abordagem metodolÃgica da pesquisa foi do tipo quali-quantitativa e se caracterizou como pesquisa descritiva. Os dados obtidos por meio dos questionÃrios, e as observaÃÃes permitiram analisar e concluir haver indÃcios de: desenvolvimento da motivaÃÃo, capacidade criativa e apropriaÃÃo do conteÃdo. O experimento da produÃÃo da pilha de Daniel na etapa prÃtica-experimental foi uma maneira de trabalhar de forma mais clara, dinÃmica, colaborativa a ressignificaÃÃo e construÃÃo de conhecimentos. O uso pedagÃgico do software educacional multimÃdia desenvolvido possibilitou aos alunos uma compreensÃo mais eficiente de conceitos, representaÃÃes e fenÃmenos, alÃm de tornar a aprendizagem do conteÃdo pilha de Daniel mais dinÃmica, motivadora e curiosa. / In the postmodern world that is constantly influenced by technology, education and consequently the process of teaching and learning invariably suffer changes. Therefore, it is necessary to design alternative teaching strategies, seeking to establish links between the pedagogical use of computer and laboratory scientific practices as tools for pedagogical support to the development of the teaching and learning process. This research focused on the design of teaching and learning strategies by conducting educational sessions of computer-mediated chemistry and experimentation. Such coordination was made through the educational union of scientific experimentation laboratories and computer in order to facilitate the students of the high school 2nd Year, learning of Physical Chemistry of knowledge, specifically the stack of Daniel. Such research was anchored in constructionist proposal for Valente and the advent of digital technologies that provided an opportunity to learn computer-mediated, proposed by Pierre Levy. There was the construction of a multimedia educational software in order to simulate the experimental practice of Daniel's cell, praising up the collaborative construction of knowledge, skills and abilities. Such actions were carried out with the participation of fourteen students of the 2nd year of high school from a public school of Eusebius the city in CearÃ, designed in six steps: building a software, theoretical-traditional classroom, practice-virtual classroom computer-mediated, software evaluation, experimental and practice-evaluation test. The methodological approach of the research was the qualitative and quantitative type, and was characterized as descriptive research. The data obtained through questionnaires, and observations allowed us to analyze and conclude there is evidence of: development of motivation, creativity and appropriation of content. The experiment of Daniel's cell production in practice and experimental step was a way to work more clearly, dynamic, collaborative and reframing the construction of knowledge. The pedagogical use of multimedia educational software developed allowed students a more efficient understanding of concepts, representations and phenomena, and make learning the Daniel cell content more dynamic, motivating and curious.

Previous issue date: 2010-03-12 / A presente pesquisa parte da seguinte questão investigativa: no cenário tecnológico e globalizado no qual estão inseridos, busca-se compreender como convivem e interagem, dentro da escola, a Biblioteca Escolar e o Laboratório de Informática, enquanto ambientes de produção de leitura/escrita e conhecimento. Buscou-se fundamentação metodológica na pesquisa qualitativa de abordagem históricocultural, respaldada por Lev S. Vygotsky e Mikhail Bakhtin. O campo de pesquisa se constituiu de duas escolas públicas situadas na cidade de Juiz de Fora/MG. A investigação se desenvolveu por meio dos instrumentos metodológicos: entrevistas semiestruturadas com dois professores-bibliotecários, uma professora responsável pelo laboratório de informática, três professores regentes e duas coordenadoras pedagógicas; análise de documentos; observação e questionário. A análise de dados está organizada em duas categorias: (a) letramentos nas escolas e (b) os sujeitos e a formação continuada: repensando a prática pedagógica. Esta pesquisa aponta para a necessidade de cada instituição escolar construir/perseguir as possibilidades plurais de utilização da biblioteca escolar e do laboratório de informática. Possíveis relações/interações entre estes espaços e sala de aula devem ser promovidas, pois formar alunos leitores e escritores, hoje, não se restringe somente ao impresso ou ao digital. Ambas as formas coexistem e são utilizadas na sociedade. Para que isso ocorra, não basta a existência de recursos “materiais”, como livros e computadores; é preciso uma reflexão coletiva sobre o seu uso, disponibilizar seus acessos, aliados a propostas pedagógicas que tornem seu uso significativo. É também premente promover a formação para o uso técnico e pedagógico das tecnologias disponíveis e presentes no interior da escola a toda comunidade escolar. Considerando a diversidade encontrada entre esses profissionais, as demandas impostas pelo avanço das TIC e as condições espaçotemporais nos ambientes escolares, pode-se pensar numa formação continuada na modalidade a distância. A escola, a universidade e o poder público devem responsabilizar-se pelo desenvolvimento nos docentes e discentes de habilidades de leitura e escrita em diferentes suportes - promovendo os plurais e necessários letramentos - e garantir o acesso desses leitores às novas mídias. Enfim, é tempo de ressignificar a biblioteca escolar e o laboratório de

informática, para que se transmutem em espaços coletivos de leitura, escrita, pesquisa, interação, produção de conhecimento e para que sejam frequentados por toda comunidade escolar. / This search takes from inquiry question: in the world-wide and thecnologycal where they are, it looks for understanding how they live together and interact themselves, inside the school, the library and computer lab, as writing, knowledge and reading production place. It was based on qualifier search of cultural-hystoric approach taken place by Lev S Vygotsky and Mikhail Bakhtin. The search field composed itself two public schools in Juiz de Fora city state of Minas Gerais. The study developed itself throughout two methodologic tools: half-structured interview with two library teachers, one teacher head of computer lab, three classroom teachers and two teaching coordinators; analysis of data; observation and quiz. The data analysis is organized into two rates: (a) literacy at schools and (b) people and the continuing education; rethinking the pedagogical practice. This search points to the necessity of each school institution builds/runs after the plural possibilities of library use and the computer lab. Relationship/interactions possible between these place and the classroom must be promoted once to construct writers and reader students, nowadays, it does not limit itself only to the printed matter or to the digital one. Both of them live together and they are used in society. For this occurring, the existence of “material” sources is not enough, like books and computers; It is needed a commom reflexion about its use, to become available its access related to educational offers wich becomes its use meaningful. It is also urgent promoting the graduation for the tecnico and educational use of the technologies, available and present inside the school for all school community. Considering the found diversity among the workers, the imposed requirement by advance of TIC and the time-space conditions on school places. It can think about continuing education on distance modality. The school, the university and the government must be blame themselves by development on docent and discents of writing and reading habilities into supports different. Advancing the required and plural literacies and certifies the access of these readers to the new media. Finally, it is time to reframe the school library and the computer lab, for they transmute themselves into collective spaces of reading, writing, search, interaction, knowledge production and for they will be attended by all school community.

Previous issue date: 2017-10-24 / O presente estudo, desenvolvido no Programa de Pós-graduação em Gestão e Avaliação da Educação Pública da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, busca compreender como a equipe gestora de uma escola pública situada no município de Araçuaí pode contribuir para a inclusão digital docente e para o uso efetivo do Laboratório de Informática diante da escassa utilização dos recursos tecnológicos pelos professores em sala de aula. A escola escolhida como campo de pesquisa atende a uma clientela matriculada no Ensino Fundamental II, ou seja, do 6º ao 9º ano, pertencente à Superintendência Regional de Ensino de Araçuaí/Minas Gerais. Embora o estabelecimento de ensino possua equipamentos tecnológicos, estes são pouco utilizados pelos docentes no desenvolvimento do seu trabalho pedagógico, assim como o Laboratório de Informática. Diante disso, surgiu o seguinte questionamento: quais ações podem ser desenvolvidas pela gestão da escola para o processo de incorporação das tecnologias nas práticas docentes em sala de aula? A partir desta questão, este trabalho buscou alcançar os seguintes objetivos: (a) descrever o contexto da escola envolvida na pesquisa e a sua infraestrutura tecnológica no que tange ao número de equipamentos tecnológicos existentes e investigar se este dado está relacionado ao pouco uso pelos docentes; (b) analisar os entraves apontados pelos participantes da pesquisa que podem prejudicar a utilização das Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação - TIC no cotidiano escolar; (c) propor ações que possam efetivar a inclusão digital pelo corpo docente em sua rotina escolar. Nessa perspectiva, a pesquisa procurou problematizar questões como a importância da tecnologia na educação, a existência ou não de práticas pedagógicas aliadas à TIC e o papel do gestor na promoção da formação continuada dos servidores que atuam nesta escola. Para atingir esse propósito, optou-se pela pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, sendo que os instrumentos utilizados para produção de dados foi a entrevista semiestruturada, realizada com o Vice-diretor e a Supervisora Pedagógica. Além disso, recorremos ao grupo focal realizado com professores de diversas áreas do conhecimento com o propósito de investigar os obstáculos apontados pelos docentes que prejudicam o uso das ferramentas tecnológicas em sala de aula. Com base nos dados produzidos por intermédio da pesquisa de campo, foi proposto um Plano de Ação Educacional – PAE, por meio de ações as quais foram estabelecidas para a efetivação do uso das TIC nesta escola, como a formação docente, o uso pedagógico do Laboratório de Informática e da Sala de Vídeo, o fortalecimento da Inclusão Digital no Regimento Escolar e no Projeto Político Pedagógico e a melhoria da estrutura física dos espaços de aprendizagens. / This study, developed in the Graduate Program in Management and Evaluation of Public Education of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, seeks to understand how the management team of a public school located in the municipality of Araçuaí can contribute to the digital inclusion of teachers and to the effective use of the Computer Laboratory in the face of the scarce use of technological resources by teachers in the classroom. The school chosen as a research field targets students in Elementary Education II, that is, from the 6th to the 9th school years, belonging to the Regional Superintendence of Education of Araçuaí / Minas Gerais. Though this educational institution does have technological equipment, these are little used by teachers in the development of their pedagogical work, as well as the Computer Laboratory. In this scenario the following question has arisen: what actions can be developed by the school management for the process of incorporating technologies in the teaching practices in the classroom? Based on this, this work sought to achieve the following objectives: (a) describing the context of the school involved in the research and its technological infrastructure regarding the number of existing technological equipment and investigate whether this data is related to the lack of use by the teachers; (b) analyzing the obstacles pointed out by the research participants that may impair the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in school daily life; (c) proposing actions that may effect the digital inclusion by the faculty in their school routine. From this perspective, the research aimed to problematize issues such as the importance of technology in education, the existence or absence of pedagogical practices allied to ICT and the role of the manager in the promotion of the continuous training of the servers that work in this school. In order to achieve this purpose, qualitative research was chosen, and the instruments used for data production were semi-structured interviews with the Deputy director and the Pedagogical Supervisor. In addition to it, we used the focus group with teachers from different areas of knowledge in order to investigate the obstacles pointed out by them that hinder the use of technological tools in the classroom. Based on the data produced through the field research, an Educational Action Plan (EAP) was proposed through actions that were established for the effective use of ICT in this school, such as teacher training, the pedagogical use of the Computer Laboratory and the Video Room, the strengthening of Digital Inclusion in the School Regiment and in the Political Pedagogical Project, and the improvement of the physical structure of the learning spaces.

A seemingly unexplored territory in teaching computer programming is transcription labs. With transcription referring to "transcribe" in the sense of "to make an exact copy of". In transcription labs students are given the complete code and are asked to transcribe it into their own window before they are able to run it. This approach may be interesting as it forces students to engage with the material more than if they had been given a runnable program outright, while still providing a limited, and in some sense safe, learning environment. This project focuses on creating a web application for transcription labs to serve as a jump-off point into exploration of such labs. Additionally, this thesis contains a preliminary study that aims at gauging if further exploration of transcription labs is worthwhile. The result of the preliminary study indicates that the answer to that question is yes, it is worthwhile exploring transcription labs further.

administrator. The literature review studied the effectiveness of IT infrastructure
management which includes hardware, software, policies, computer network,
security; staff management and BYOD (bring your own device). The
management of IT infrastructure at secondary schools within the WCED differs
widely from school to school, and its functionality depends on many factors.
The quantitative study revealed problem areas within IT infrastructure
management at secondary schools in the WCED. Furthermore the quantitative
study also revealed that there is a need for best practice guidelines with
regards to IT infrastructure management in order to improve service delivery.
The literature review provided sources for best practice IT infrastructure
