Autorita a konformismus; sociální psychologie nacismu / Authority and conformism; social psychology of NacismDvořáková, Denisa January 2014 (has links)
Authority and conformism; social psychology of Nazism This thesis attends to Nazism from the perspective of social psychology. Its aim is to analyze Nazism by using chosen theoretical concepts of social psychology, namely authority and conformism. The work begins with the presentation of the concept of totalitarianism, when in the first instance the term totalitarianism is generally defined and then the great part of this chapter deals with the concept of totalitarianism in Hannah Arendt's conception. At the end of this chapter there are mentioned some limits of Hannah Arendt's conception. The ideology of Nazism is the content of the next chapter. There are terms ideology and Nazism defined and subsequently there is the goal and basic characterization of Nazi ideology given. The third chapter deals with the authority and the conformism as social psychological phenomena. The first part of this chapter defines conformism, lists the possible resolution of its causes and basic typology of its consequences. Furthermore, there are presented the most important classical studies in the field of the scientific study of conformism carried out by laboratory exepriments and briefly outlined the problems of disposal and situational approach. Next a brief treatise on modern individualism as a possible aspect of...

Sociální psychologie nacismu; právo za "Třetí říše" / Social psychology of Nazism; the law in the "Third Empire"Kratochvílová, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
Social Psychology of Nazism; Law in the Third Reich This thesis deals with two essential aspects of the former Nazi Third Reich (1933-1945) - the law and social psychology such as conformism and authority. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and evaluate this problematic with a closer focus on a certain part of these two topics. The first part focuses on the basic terms and general context. There are described definitions of totalitarianism and Nazism in Germany and the history from the Weimar Republic to the end of the Third Reich. There is also chapter describing the role of propaganda in Nazi Germany, which was precisely managed and strongly influenced the German population. The second part of the text deals with Nazi law, old and new sources of law and especially well-known Nuremberg Laws, which are analysed in detail. Part of this chapter is focused on the comparison of Czech law and the law in the Third Reich, respectively whether and how is protected the state against undemocratic forms of government and this kind of political parties. The last part is focused on social psychology (selected phenomenon) which played an important role in the Third Reich - the conformism and authority. Emphasis was placed on practical experiments and concrete examples of these phenomena in Germany. Topic of this thesis...

Autorita a konformismus, sociální psychologie nacismu / Authority and conformism, social psychology of NazismBrunerová, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
The theme of my thesis is Conformity and Authority, social psychology of Nazism. The purpose of my thesis is to analyse human behaviour during the Nazi period, in particular human tendency to conformity behaviour and obedience to the authority. I have two main reasons to choose this concrete topic for my thesis. First of all I am psychologist and it is quite interesting for me to explore theme both from law and psychological point of view. Secondly, my great - grandfather was member of resistance during The Second World War. He was executed in concentration camp in 1942. Because of his choice I was personally interested in exploring nonconformal behaviour or heroism. The thesis is divided into ten chapters including The Introduction and The Conclusion. Chapter one is The Introduction and defines basic questions which I would like to answer in my thesis. I also present the structure of whole thesis there. The second chapter concentrates on my family story I mentioned before. I provide there more details about the story of my great- grandfather and consequences of his resolution for my family. Chapter three is devoted to Nazism and is subdivided into four subchapters - Definition, Leader, Rising of Nazism and Antisemitism. In chapter four I concentrate on Conformism. The aim of this chapter is to...

Les pratiques immoralistes dans l'oeuvre de Gide / The immoralism in André Gide's romantic workAman, Affi Bertrand 17 November 2015 (has links)
In this thesis, we study the immoralism in André Gide’s romantic work. The first chapter is devoted not only to the theoretical and methodological approach but also to the analysis of subversion which we consider as one of the vectors of immoralism in André Gide’s romantic work. The second chapter and the second part make out the semiotics of the sensitive, passions and tensive. Similarly, in the second part, we demonstrate that immoralist is a subject in tension by determining the different passions to which is linked the theme of immoralism in André Gide’s romantic work. The third part deals with the failure of immoralism. Based on the study of the passion of despair, pity, passional simulacra, veridictory modalities, the life form of anticonformism, the life form of pleasure, the life form of wandering and individualistic ethic, we note that immoralism is a failure and leads to the impossible happiness. This is also the reason why the immoralist subject eventually renounces his individual values to be conjoined with those of the collective actant.

Previous issue date: 2016 / For understanding how networks a ect the behavior of individuals, speci -
cally the behavior os students in the last year of high school inside the classroom,
we estimate a model of Network e ects, the Local-average model for two behavioral
variables: doing an exam without being prepared and cheating in an exam, in order
to understand how the behavior of individual's friends a ects his or her behavior.
It was found a positive and statistically signi cant e ect for the network e ect of
the probability of doing an exam without being prepared, and a positive, but not
signi cant e ect for the network e ect of the probability of cheating in an exam.
This result shows that policies or actions aiming the reduction of the probability of
a student do an exam without being prepared have what is called social multiplier
e ect, because besides this policy change the behavior of the student regarding this
variable, his or her change of behavior a ects positively the behavior of people in
his or her network.

Sociální psychologie nacismu: konformismus, poslušnost a zneužití moci / Social psychology of Nazism: conformism, obedience and abuse of powerVejvodová, Kristýna January 2017 (has links)
Social psychology of Nazism: Conformism, Obedience and Abuse of Power Thesis Social Psychology of Nazism: Conformism, Obedience and Abuse of Power deals with a human behaviour at the time of Nazism. Since the end of the Second World War, we have been trying to find an explanation of our actions at the time. How could we have participated in torturing and killing so many innocent people? And could we commit something similar again? The horrific nature of the above-mentioned human action is exemplified in the first chapter of this thesis by the story of ordinary men of the Reserve Police Battalion 101. In 1942, at the orders of their superiors these very ordinary German citizens executed 1500 Jewish inhabitants of the Polish village of Józefów. In the following chapters, three important socio-psychological experiments of the second half of the 20th century are analyzed to elucidate the natural tendencies of human behaviour that are critical to a person's ability to act as mentioned above. Firstly, the Solomon E. Asch experiment, which investigates conformism and helps us to understand why we are able to commit evil or not to intervene against it under social pressure. Stanley Milgram's experiment on obedience follows. Milgram indicates how it is easy for most people to obey the authority and follow...

Previous issue date: 2012-10-22 / The objective of this thesis is to seek the causes of the immobilism of the powerful who settled in municipal administration, as well the causes of the people of Poxoréu conformism. The work can also be used to analyze similar situations in many parts of Brazil, marked by the colonelism or caudillismo. From its connection with the history of Garças and Araguaia region, which had a miner and warrior colonelism, the miner colonelism of Poxoreu is connected to the democratic game created by the municipal elections of 1947 and that had installed in the municipal administration until 2000. The hypothesis that best fits the situation of both region that, throughout the twentieth century, have undergone a process of creating political and social relations similar to the model of Caesarism. The Caesarism seeks solutions to political problems by military actions. At Garças and Araguaia, for example, Colonel José Morbeck had organized the region along these lines, i.e., sharing the organization of all human settlements with their various representatives. In Poxoréu, due to the electoral system introduced in 1947 and renovated in 1965 and also in 1979, the leaders were able to coexist with forms of parliamentary representation, by articulating a balanced policy that pretend to correspond to the interests of the community. The work can be justified because it covers a relatively large period of the Poxoréu s history, while in other Brazilian regions and Mato Grosso were taking important political, economic and social policy, and Poxoréu was not able to adapt after exhaustion of diamond reserves that led to the economic stagnation of the municipality. The methodology used to develop this thesis is historical, but there are others important themes to analyze, such as, for example, the issue of leaders, which appear stronger over all the work. Then, the history of Poxoréu is put within the history of Mato Grosso and Brazil, and also seeks to reconstruct the routes of migrants throughout the twentieth century for the region, and seek, in the armed conflict in the Garças and Araguaia and in the violence inside the miner region, the causes of the immobilism of the powerful and conformism of the people, with the reflections that are still being felt after the first decade of the twenty first century / O objetivo do presente trabalho é buscar as causas do imobilismo dos poderosos que se instalaram na administração municipal e as causas do comodismo do povo de Poxoréu.

An Analysis Of Social Pressure And The Alienation Of Women In Angela Carter' / s The Magic Toyshop And Jeanette Winterson' / s Oranges Are Not The Only FruitKaraman, Ayse Gul 01 December 2009 (has links) (PDF)
This thesis carries out an analysis of social pressure and the alienation of women in Angela Carter&rsquo / s The Magic Toyshop and Jeanette Winterson&rsquo / s Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit. It discusses the effect of social pressure on woman whose sexuality is ignored. This study initially focuses on the development of woman&rsquo / s sexuality in relation to the female model described by heterosexual hegemony. It aims at taking a closer look at the alienation of conformist and non-conformist female characters under patriarchal force in Carter&rsquo / s and Winterson&rsquo / s works. In relation to women&rsquo / s sexual identity, the thesis examines gender roles in the particular works. It discusses how women under patriarchal oppression are identified with passive female roles while men are associated with superior male roles. Thus this study iterates how women are alienated as a result of patriarchal gendering. With this aim, it questions the ways to destroy the patriarchal oppression for Carter and Winterson.

Kelias nuo „Ego“ iki mediatizuoto socialinio pasaulio. Demokratijos nykimo apraiškos / The path leading from "Ego" to mediatized social world. Manifestations of the democratic decayMarčiulionis, Vytis 12 June 2013 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / This master’s thesis is an analysis of mediatized social world from the very first display of individual‘s social indication to his influence on whole socially active world and the dominating form of rule – democracy.
Following direct steps, at first, subjects boundaries as an „Ego“ trying to break through the solipsistic position of the subject to socially active world are discussed. Using analysis of literature subject’s ability to recognize the Other not as an object but as a subject is ascertained, thus bringing him into the social world. On the second stage communicating through media, problems which arise while trying to comprehend the Other through medium and distinctions between direct and indirect experience of the Other are introduced. While being consistent, subject is lead in to the mediatized (virtual) social world where common and crucial crises which arise because of the globalization, fragmentation of society and conformism, in the cases of involving thyself in the socially active virtual, world are discussed. With the help of quantitative data analysis and insight one of the main problems of virtual social world – narcissism – manifestation and possibilities of overcoming are defined. Also, capability of consumers influencing the flow of information through media as well as aims and traits of consumers themselves creating and consuming the information are discussed. Furthermore, manifestation of the mentioned narcissistic phenomena in political world and its... [to full text]
