Šteklová, Petra January 2016 (has links)
Title: Starts of sprint disciplines performed by spastic athlete and particularities of the training process Aim of work: The aim of this work was analyzing of the specifics of athletic training determined for spastic sprinter class T38 and observation of the long term effect. Methods: This work presents an empiric-theoretical study. Due to the uniqueness of the theme, method of case study has been chosen (intra-individual observation). This method was applied on the particular spastic sprinter by using longitudinal quantitative observation during her top sport career and applying one-off analysis focused on evaluation of different types of starts. This observation had qualitative and quantitative part. The quantitative part was based on the interpretation of 2D video comparing three types of start (low start, mid-low start and low start with a diagonal arm position) with the optimal start position described in the books. Comparison of average time for 10 metre distance was determined as quantitative element. . The observational group consists of the sprinter with Cerebral Palsy at Czech representative level. Results: Our research resulted as follows: The mid-low start was assessed as the best one for the examined sprinter from the quality of start position point of view including the three...

Etika a moc v sociálně zdravotních službách / Ethics and Power in Social Health Services

Hradcová, Dana January 2015 (has links)
The following text is an ethnographical study of relations in which care is shaped. On the example of care homes with special regime I describe how power is made and how different ideals are enacted in care of people with dementia. Through the analysis of daily activities' micro practice, I introduce two possible ways (modes of ordering) of care for frail elderly with cognitive impairment. The first of the modes is based on an enactment of ideals introduced into the practice by the Social Services Act and related system of quality standards: autonomy, individualisation, activation, and inclusion. It relies on standardisation of procedures, detailed specification of actions and management by objectives. The second mode of ordering, which could be located in the stories from care homes, is founded on an inevitable human dependency and vulnerability, and on general human need of giving and receiving care. In it, relationships and care improvisation here and now play the key role. My ethnographic fieldwork has shown that in everyday practice these two ways of doing good care co-exist - they complement each other, overlap and sometimes clash. People in care homes, striving for the better and the best care, either keep together, or hold apart these different and non-coherent ways of care. In discourse of...

Uznání a vzdání se procesního nároku / Recognition and waiver of a procedured claim

Brůha, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
Recognition and waiver of a procedural claim Abstract The thesis deals with the institutes of recognition and waiver of a procedural claim, which are a specific way of ending of court proceedings based on a dispositional act of concerned procedural party. The purpose of the institutes of recognition and waiver of a procedural claim is, in particular, to speed up the proceedings and save costs to both the state and the parties, in a situation where there is no longer a factual dispute between the parties and yet the parties have an interest in authoritative acknowledgment of such situation, unlike, for example, the institute of withdrawal of the action, which does not constitute an obstacle of rei iudicatae. The first chapter contains a general theoretical background of the thesis, definitions of basic terms and differentiation from similar institutes such as the mentioned withdrawal of the lawsuit or a court settlement. The first chapter also compares the differences between material recognition and waiver and their consequences. The following second chapter then contains a historical review of the regulation of the recognition and waiver of procedural claims institutes on our territory. The review begins with the Civilian Procedure Code from 1895, then deals with the Civic Procedure Code from 1950 and the...

Kompaktní město - aneb co nového se může ještě dít v Brně mezi nádražími / Compact Town - or what new is able to yet be done in Brno among railway stations

Novosad, Ondřej January 2009 (has links)
Urban-architectural study of the new city part between the current and the future main station in Brno. The study is focused on creating a new concept of urban area as an alternative to the present intention based on the actual city plan. The main impulse to update the building layout of this developing municipal area is the integration of the new city high-speed railway. The particular attention is drawn to the utilization of two levels of the urban area originating from different levels of terrain and train yards. The integral part of the space arrangement on the principle of a compact city is also the application of theory and the observation of the tenable city. The core of the concept is the programmed structure of buildings density which is interlaced with the network of public transport and private atria. Within the frame of this structure two urban projects have been developed in details. Firstly, it is the placement of new Janaček´s centre of musical art at the place of reconstructed Svratka bank in the south part of the area. The other motive is the concept of the stop of a speed train in the very centre of this area. The stop features the central square and is involved in the complex of the congress centre. All this area is completed with the concept of a new municipal spa. The programme of the whole study is to complete city areas with facilities and functions which are considered to be absent. The quality of the project can be assessed, compared to the city plan of Brno.

Skapande i musikundervisningen : Olika arbetssätt för skapande i grundskolans musikundervisning / Creativity in music lessons : Different approaches to creativity in music teaching in elementary school

Bergman, Johanna January 2022 (has links)
The aim of this study is to investigate how music teachers states that they work with creativity in music teaching, which requirements who are needed for working with music creation and how they believe that music creation can contribute to pupil’s development. Method literature and previous research shows that music creation can imply many different meanings and that it is possible to work with music creativity in many different ways. Creation in music also proves to be important both for students' knowledge development and for development in a personal and emotional way. This study is based on a sociocultural perspective, it is qualitative and based on semi-structured interviews with four music teachers. Thematic analysis has been applied to analyze the data from the interviews. The results of the study present different ways to teach in music creation, for example music creation based on pictures and stories, digital music making and music making with rhythms. Requirements needed for working with music creation is also something that is presented. Both material conditions such as access to instruments and social conditions such as the classroom climate prove to be important to be able to work with music creation in school. What music creation can contribute to pupil’s development is also something that is presented in the results and aspects that are presented is for example that pupil´s creativity develops, and they are able to express their thoughts and ideas. In the chapter for discussion the results are compared with previous research. The study can be linked to previous research and it is clear that music creation can mean many different things, be performed in many different ways and that it can have positive consequences for students' development.

Tunable electronic and magnetic properties in 2D-WSe2 monolayer via vanadium (V) doping and chalcogenide (Se) vacancies: A first-principle investigations

Thapa, Dinesh 06 August 2021 (has links)
The first-principles density functional theory (DFT) was implemented to investigate the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of vanadium (V) substituted and chalcogen (Se) vacancies in tungsten diselenide (WSe 2 ) monolayer, novel two dimensional (2D) monolayer (ML) structures in binary compounds ZnX (X= As, Sb, and Bi), and novel 2D electrides on transition metal-rich mono-oxide or chalcogenides, based on Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) exchange functional employed in Vienna Ab-Initio Simulation Packages (VASP). The inherent defect in 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) contains unavoidable substitutional defects and a certain amount of chalcogen vacancies. This type of defect affects the electronic and magnetic properties of 2D-TMDCs. To account for this fact, we demonstrated using DFT that the V-doped WSe 2 monolayer exhibits long-range ferromagnetic order. Further, the chalcogenide (Se) vacancies clustered around V-atom enhance the ferromagnetic properties of the system consistent with experimental findings. This dissertation explores the important role of Se-vacancies in the magnetic properties of the V-doped WSe 2 monolayer and proposes a method to enhance the magnetic properties of such 2D non-magnetic van der Waal (vdW) materials. In the second study, we have attempted theoretically to engineer the monolayer structure in II-V binary compounds ZnX with orthorhombic symmetry. We proved the dynamical stability of the bulk and ML structures manifested by the absence of imaginary frequencies in phonon dispersion curves. Our calculations on the density of states (DOS), and band structures using GGA indicate the increasing value of bandgap as well as the transition from indirect to direct bandgap while going from bulk to monolayer structure of ZnX. Our theoretical calculations will represent an archetype of novel 2D semiconductors on ZnX. Next, we have tailored using DFT, the structural and electronic properties of the 2D electrides that belong to transition metal-rich mono-oxide and chalcogenides with hexagonal (Hf 2 X; X = O, S, Se, Te), and orthorhombic (Ti2S and Zr2S) symmetry thereby introducing novel electrides to the electride family. The Bader charge analysis, electron localization function (ELF), projected DOS, and the calculated value of low work functions provides sufficient theoretical shreds of evidence to prove these materials as electrides.
