Sledování reakčních schopností u různých věkových kategorií judistů / Monitoring of reaction abilities in different age categories of judo athletes.

Buriánek, Adam January 2020 (has links)
Title: Monitoring of reaction abilities in different age categories of judo athletes Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to assess the influence of judo on the reaction abilities among different age groups of judo athletes. This finding should help to develop a view of necessity of focusing on reaction abilities during exercise unit. Methods: During the research a reactometer was used to capture simple and complex reaction time to visual stimulus and tactile response. Overall 166 individuals (100 men, 66 women) took part of the monitoring from which 3 were excluded. Every proband has undergone one test measurement (5 stimuls at least) and two evaluated ones (20 seconds each). The shorter - reaction time score was consider as a result for the particular test. The outcomes were utilized via Kruskal - Wallis test, Pearsons's and Spearman's correlation coefficient, Mann - Whitney's test and others. Results: The biggest difference between reaction period was observed between the age group of 8-10 and older groups. This category has also significantly differed in reaction period and the highest median. Statistically any notable difference was not confirmed among judo athletes and our control group in contrary with the situation between individual age categories. The hypothesis of judo athletes training...

Nálezy římského původu ve středních Čechách / Findings of roman origin in Central Bohemia

Kovandová, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
This work is focused on roman imports in Central Bohemia from 1st to 4th century A.D. My aim is to pay attention on findings of roman - provincial origin, which are published in a literature, the second aim is to sort these objects on a specific types and determine their inclusion on a timeline of archaeological absolute or relative chronology. This knowledge is very important to say what their importance was and which role they played in our history in Central Bohemia. It is clear that Central Bohemia had different position in some phases of a roman period. The study of imports also produce a knowledge about the importance of imported subjects from roman provinces for our society in roman period and about influences, that had many impacts on this society and her nature. Keywords Import, Central Bohemia, barbaricum, roman provinces, roman period

Percepční dopad dvou různých způsobů určování slabičných hranic v angličtině / Perceptual Impact of Two Syllabification Procedures in English

Šturm, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
The subject of the thesis is the determination of syllable boundaries in English with respect to its perceptual relevance. The hypothesis is based on two different theoretical conceptions. The Maximum Onset Principle (MOP), a traditional approach widespread among linguists, assigns intervocalic consonants to neighbouring syllables in such a way that the longest possible onsets are created in the syllables that follow. An alternative view, advocated by John Wells, advises to utilize more complex parameters, such as morphological structure, prosodic structure or, most importantly, the allophonic realization of phonemes as determined by position within the syllable. A word monitoring experiment measuring reaction times, in which listeners pressed a key if they heard a given word in the auditory stimulus, yielded data about listeners' performance in two conditions: in one the items were divided into syllables according to the MOP, in the other according to Wells. The latter was associated with faster reactions, which might be interpreted as cognitively less strenuous. However, the difference between the two conditions was not robust, mainly because of the limited number of listeners.

Srdce národa. Individuum na cestě k lidství a k lidskosti / Heart of nation. An Individual on his way to humaneness and humanity

Madlová, Ivana January 2014 (has links)
The main content of the present thesis is focused on the problem of the national discourse in the pre-March Bohemia; chronologically defined as the period of the fortieth years of the 19th century. In its concept, the thesis bases on the conservative understanding of the national question in Bohemia; it is based on the Bohemian patriotic essays of the catolic priest Bernard Bolzano and his follower, in that time liberal thinking aristocrat Count Leo Thun. Although the chronological framework, which is determined as the last decade before the beginning of the revolution of 1848 in Bohemia, the main content of the thesis focuses on the timeless problem of the past and present development of the Bohemian/Czech society in that way, in which it is understanded within the conservative approach, i. e. as a social framework for the free progress of the constituent individuals, whose individual development is depended on the mutual interaction of the individuals in the whole society. Making use of the metaphysical construct of the catholic priest Václav Frost, the author attempts to reveal the main conditions of the possible unification of the society, and with the focus on the Czech- German question, also to define the main causes of the national conflict in Bohemia. The fundamental proposition of the...

Pozdní doba bronzová na Písecku / The Late Bronze Age in the region of Písek, Southern Bohemia

Pokorná, Kamila January 2015 (has links)
The thesis presents the results of evaluation of archaeological finds from the two settlements in Písek (site "nemocnice") and Topělec. Both settlements are dated to the Late Bronze Age. With respect to the fact that only Late Bronze Age sites of smaller extent have been evaluated and published in South Bohemia so far, the studied settlements offer a more complex view on the composition of ceramic finds in this period and region. Both sites provide ceramic finds analogous to those from Central and Wes Bohemia, however, they do not differ significantly from other South Bohemian sites.

Vztah mezi velikostí vajec a dobou inkubace u gekonů (Squamata: Gekkota) / Relationship between egg size and incubation time in geckos (Squamata: Gekkota)

Mrskočová, Jana January 2014 (has links)
Previous studies of the relationship between egg size and the embryonic development time showed a positive correlation between the two variables at interspecies level, thus offering the idea that the evolution of the latter could be a limiting factor for enlarging the size of eggs during evolution. Some research into interspecies and intraspecific level of reptiles doesn't confirm this correlation. At the same time, the relationship between the development time and egg size is influenced by many factors, such as shifts in ontogenetic stages of the embryo at the time of ablation of eggs, due to temperature and humidity, the presence of embryonic diapause during embryogenesis or synchronization of hatching time, of which the authors of previous studies took no account or filtered out inaccurately. I think that most of these factors can be well controlled in intraspecific studies, but, variation in egg size within species also tends to be small, which prevents a reliable test for correlation. The solution can be to compare closely related species with high variability in the size of the eggs, in our case the geckos of the genus Paroedura and family Eublepharidae. I eliminated temperature effects by comparing the time of incubation in two equal constant temperatures. The results show that, in this...

Přerušování herního děje v důsledku porušování pravidel v utkáních basketbalu minižákovských chlapeckých kategorií / Intermission of the game on the grounds of breaking the rules in young-junior boys categories

Kocourek, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Title: Intermission of the game on the grounds of breaking the rules in young-junior boys categories. Objectives: This diploma thesis aims to find out intervals of the game and intervals of the intermission of the game in young-junior basketball and youth boys basketball matches, and to compare the detected data. The other aim is to discover the reasons leading to the intermission of the game of each catogory during these matches. Methods: As a research method, the method of observation of the video recordings of youth basketball and young-junior basketball matches from the website tvcom.cz was chosen. Using the basic statistic and arithmetic methods, the measured data were processed statistically and, consequently, graphically also. Results: It was discovered that children playing the young-junior basketball have the shortest average interval of the continuous game in all studied categories and that this interval is shorter than the interval of the average duration of the intermission of the game during young-junior basketball matches. The most frequent reason for the intermission of the game in all categories is a personal foul of the player and a ball, or a player with a ball out of bonds. Keywords: playing time, youth, sports education, basketball, rules

Měření reakční doby na zvukový podnět u hráčů Goalballu / THE MEASUREMENT OF THE REACTION TIME ON THE AUDITORY STIMULI CONCERNING THE PLAYERS OF GOALBALL.

Hakenová, Pavlína January 2012 (has links)
Title: THE MEASUREMENT OF THE REACTION TIME ON THE AUDITORY STIMULI CONCERNING THE PLAYERS OF GOALBALL. Objectives: The main objective of this paper is the measurement of the reaction time on the auditory stimuli concerning the players of goalball. Another objective is to analyze acquired data and to compare measured values with those measured within the healthy population. The last objective is to compare health groups B1, B2, B3 and productive groups within the premiere league and the players of the goalball representation. Methods: Measurement and analyzing of the acquired data's methods were used in this paper. The reactometer, earphones and the computer with the software that enables to automatically analyze measured data were the main tools used. Acquired data were displayed in the measured values' chart and within the graph on the axis displaying the course of measurement as well. The analyzing method was used to analyze the individual measured outcomes of the reaction time. Results: The final part of this work was based on the three hypotheses. The first hypothesis assumed that the goalball players' reaction speed is faster than within the healthy population. This hypothesis was confirmed. According to measured outcome, from the sample of the healthy population there was not a person who...

Domy doby římské a stěhování národů v Čechách / The Roman Age and Migration Period Houses in Bohemia

Forró, Jana January 2012 (has links)
The master's thesis summarizes existing knowledge of both post houses and sunken floor buildings in the Roman Age and Migration Period in Bohemia. It analyzes a collection of 131 sunken floor houses and available records about the post houses. The sunken floor building were divided in several groups according to preserved traces of their contruction which enables a comparison of the situation in Bohemia with that of neighboring areas. Using statistical methods helped to determine mutual relations between features and to identify certain regional differences. Both kinds of buildings were evaluated from the construction and functional point of view. The knowledge of post houses served as the basis for analyzing a season of an excavation of 1959 in Zalužany, dist. Příbram. Key words Bohemia - Roman Age - Migration Period - settlements - prehistoric construction

Simulace dopadů pracovních zákonů na trh práce / Simulation of Impacts of Labor Laws on Labor Market

Dlouhá, Ilona January 2011 (has links)
This master thesis analyzes the differences in the labor laws and their impacts on the development of the labor markets in large selection of OECD countries, including the Czech Republic. The thesis covers both historical and current data including the late-2000s recession. The labor market performance is measured by hours worked per person, which combines the extensive margin (employment rate) and the intensive margin (hours worked by employed individuals). Labor laws are represented by the average and marginal tax wedges, employment protection legislation, labor market policies and trade union density. The thesis contains an empirical model of the relationship between the labor market performance and labor laws for 24 OECD countries for the period 2000-2008. The thesis shows that the lower hours worked are associated with more strict employment protection legislation and lower trade union density. The effect of taxation (in terms of tax wedges) varies substantially among different subgroups of the population, but it is generally quite weak (elasticity around -0.15) and it cannot explain the overall differences in the development of the labor market performance among countries.
