Närvaro i skolan är något mer än en ✔ i protokollet : En lärares sikte på praktisk kunskap i estetiska  kunskapsdimensioner

Umerkajeff, Marie January 2017 (has links)
This is a qualitative study with a hermeneutical approach written from a drama teacher's point of view on practical knowledge in aesthetic subjects in a secondary school. The method is referred to as “the model of Södertörn”, a professional inductive method based on a phenomenological introspective referred to as the situation of action. The open questions concern didactics and questions about the difference between aesthetic and artistic in a pedagogical context. The learning is examined based on an actual situation with reference to Viola Spolin’s methods of improvisation and point of concentration (POC), where the student is side–coached. The technique is alienation as described from a theatre perspective. Through the support of the theatre practice and philosophers such as John Dewey, Hans-Georg Gadamer and Susanne Langer, knowledge theory, methodology of the theory of practice are weighed together to describe and analyse how the learning occurs. A critical interpretation space with reference to Plato and Socrates becomes the logic of hermeneutic openness. The method as such is built on a dialectic relationship were the basis for how both learning and the research took place. In order to provide answers to what knowledge is, described as in the Swedish schools governing documents, the concepts of knowledge has been reviewed through a content analysis. There is a dialogue between theory and practice to find out, if there is any difference between aesthetic and artistic knowledge, where Aristotle play a role, when a new proposal for introducing aesthetic subjects as mandatory in secondary school makes a new entrance.

Rozhlasová rolová hra: možnosti a limity využití fiktivního rozhlasového vysílání ve výuce anglického jazyka / Radio role play: possibilities and limitations of use of fictional radio broadcast in English language teaching

Žďárek, Karel January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation thesis focuses on the use of drama in English language teaching. In the theoretical part the field of drama in ELT is elaborated in terms of its principles, methods and examples of practical use. Based on the outlined theoretical basis the technique radio role play is introduced. The main aim of the thesis was to identify and verify possibilities and limitations of the technique applied in English language teaching. To meet the aim of the thesis action research was used as the research design employing a range of data collection methods, e.g. questionnaires with pupils; interviews with pupils, teachers and critical friends. Content analysis was used to process the collected data and the analysis was further interpreted with the support of contextual information regarding educational setting in which the research was carried out and contextual material (lesson plans, teaching material, audio and video recordings). Within the four cycles of action research initial hypotheses, which were formulated before the actual research, were verified. The research findings show that the radio role playing contributes to the development of speaking as a language skill (mainly fluency and spontaneity of speech), improvisation skills, creativity and non-verbal communication. The main limitation...

Determinanty využití zážitkové pedagogiky v praxi základní školy / Determinants of application of experiential education at Czech basic school

Hanková, Zdeňka January 2019 (has links)
Hanková This thesis focuses on the experiential pedagogy about the implementation of personal and social education. The research aims to investigate and describe the determinants of the experiential pedagogy, particularly about the didactical thinking of group teachers who plan and implement teaching personal and social education in a Czech basic school. The theoretical grounds of this current study are based on the extensive comparison of heterogenous terminology of experiential pedagogy, general didactics, and didactics of personal and social education. This study adopts the qualitative research paradigm with multiple-case- studies research design. The data have been gathered from thematic writing and focus group interviews which were analysed by the content analysis method with the support of axial analysis. The analysis of didactical thinking is concerned with the objective and the experience as a means of learning and reflection and revealed that teachers determine their didactical thinking and practice by the knowledge of the group and individuals concerning psychological safety. The experience during the game is understood as a way of learning facilitated by reflection. The interpretations concur with the constructivist teaching practices based on a socio-cognitive conflict as a learning...

Komparativní analýza dramatu jako metoda ve výuce literatury / Comparative analysis of drama as a method of teaching literature

Batistová, Květoslava January 2022 (has links)
Resumé The diploma thesis represents a complex teaching method which is especially suitable for educating of students in their first year at secondary schools, or in the last year at lower secondary schools. This method introduces students to the basics of the secondary school literary education and to the "summary" characteristics of a literary work. The aim of the method is to guide students by means of the method of experiential pedagogy to acquire the whole complex of knowledge and skills in the field of interpretation and analysis which is required for the State part of school-leaving examinations. The method also aims to create and strengthen mutual relationships inside teams of students and the ability of students to cooperate more closely. The method is built up on four starting points: the constructivism, the creation or creativity, the comparison, and dramatic texts with drama education. We have chosen dramatic texts because, from the point of view of literary-theoretical analysis, they contain all the basic categories of "syuzhet" genres; all, apart from narration and narrators. In addition, and in contrast to epics, the interpretation of drama becomes a greater challenge due to the "gaps" which must be filled by the reader. In the method, we meaningfully connect the analysis and interpretation...
