Rizikové chování a symptomy ADHD u dětí ve vybraném typu zařízení ústavní výchovy a péče / Risk behaviour and symptoms of children's ADHD as observed in a specific educational and social care institutionŠťastná, Denisa January 2018 (has links)
STARTING POINT: The presence of ADHD symptoms is one of the possible causes of risky behavior. Adolescent risk behaviors bring many challenges that can affect the quality of future life. One of the consequences of risky behavior may be to place a teenager in institutional care. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe in detail the occurrence of risk behavior in the children's home with the school and then to look into the possible occurrence of symptoms of ADHD. Consequently, we will attempt to characterize the risk behavior of children in institutional care by gender, age and educational program. METHODS: The data were obtained using questionnaire methods, for the presence of the ADHD symptoms the BRIEF questionnaire was used (Gioia et al., 2011). The VRCHA questionnaire the occurrence of risk behavior in adolescents (Dolejš & Skopal, 2015) was used to map the occurrence of risk behavior. The data was also obtained with the study of the documentation, when we worked with existing documents, the subject of the examination was the report of the respondents. RESULTS: The most common risk behavior in children's homes with the school is delinquency and abuse of addictive substances. Risky behavior is more common among girls than among boys in a children's home with a school....

Balance Control and Stability during Gait - An Evaluation of Fall Risk among Elderly AdultsLugade, Vipul Anand, 1980- 09 1900 (has links)
xiii, 109 p. : ill. / Falls are a significant source of physical, social, and psychological suffering among elderly adults. Falls lead to morbidity and even mortality. Over one-third of adults over the age of 65 years will fall within a calendar year, with almost 10,000 deaths per year attributed to falls. The direct cost of falls exceeds $10 billion a year in the United States. Fall incidents have been linked to multiple risk factors, including cognitive function, muscle strength, and balance control. The ability to properly identify balance impairment is a tremendous challenge to the medical community, with accurate assessment of fall risk lacking. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to assess balance control during gait among young adults, elderly adults, and elderly fallers; determine which biomechanical measures can best identify fallers retrospectively; demonstrate longitudinal changes in elderly adults and prospectively assess fall risk; and provide a method for mapping clinical variables to sensitive balance control measures using artificial neural networks.
The interaction of the whole body center of mass (CoM) in relation to the base of support (BoS) assessed static and dynamic balance control throughout gait. Elderly fallers demonstrated reduced balance control ability, specifically a decreased time to contact with the boundary of the BoS, when compared to young adults at heel strike. This decreased time might predispose older adults to additional falls due to an inability to properly respond to perturbations or slips.
Inclusion of these balance control measures along with the Berg Balance Scale and spatiotemporal measures demonstrated sensitivity and specificity values of up to 90% when identifying 98 elderly fallers and non-fallers, respectively. Additionally, 27 older adults were followed longitudinally over a period of one year, with only the interaction of the CoM with the BoS demonstrating an ability to differentiate fallers and non-fallers prospectively.
As the collection and analysis of these biomechanics measures can be time consuming and expensive, an artificial neural network demonstrated that clinical measures can accurately predict balance control during ambulation. This model approached a solution quickly and provides a means for assessing longitudinal changes, intervention effects, and future fall risk.

Direct contact cooking is a very common way of preparing foods throughout the world, but few studies are interested in this issue at the domestic scale. This work attempts to contribute to the study of the phenomena involved during this operation. This thesis begins with a review of the various factors involved in the cooking process: energy consumption, types of appliances used, physico-chemical phenomena implied in the product or modeling problems are discussed. It emerges from this that an essential fact is the knowledge of the heat flux transmitted to the product. A method for estimating this flux based on inverse techniques is developed. This has contributed to design an instrumented prototype allowing to follow the kinetics of the temperatures in the heating plate and in an elastomer simulating a food product. The results obtained show that the method makes it possible to estimate the heat flux transmitted with a good accuracy. In a second step, an experimental study of cooking of a 8 mm thick cereal batter is presented. After having characterized the thermophysical and hydric properties, the prototype is used to monitor changes in various parameters such as temperatures, heat flux, mass in dynamics, and water contents. The repeatability and the variability of the results according to the initial temperature of the plate are carried out. Then, a 1D model simulating mass and heat transfers is used to study the different factors involved in cooking. A second 2D model is realized to test the energy consumption during a cooking operation in cadence according to different prototype design scenarios.

This is an academic master's thesis which research problem consists in the identification of solutions and respective legal grounds for the relief of the damage suffered by the apparent parent who is improperly required to pay for the child support, considering that it is an unrepeatable sum. It was used as method of approach the hypothetical-deductive one and as method of procedure the monographic and historical ones. The work was divided in three chapters. The first chapter aimed the deepening of the study of child support obligation, with an approach to historical evolution, characteristics, classifications, assumptions, presumption of paternity, child support during pregnancy, and, finally, the identification of the damage consubstantiated in the obligation of the imposition of paying the child support to an illegitimate child. The second chapter proposed a idealsolution, consisting of the obligation to repair the damage by the true parent, which initially examined the possibility of imputation of strict liability, but finally concluded that unjust enrichment was the appropriate basis. The third chapter presented subsidiary solutions, in the case of ignorance of the true parent, seeking to impute the duty of reparation to the mother who acts guilty by indicating the wrong parent in court. In order to do so, four possible reasons have been considered: unjust enrichment, abuse of rights and liability and strict liability, and it is concluded that in all cases there will be strict liability of the female custodian or pregnant mother, although still impositive the unrepeatable when present the good faith of the agent.

Introduction: Adolescence is a vulnerable stage and exposes to various behavioral risks that may affect the health. Ekonomická analýza práva v oblasti insolvence / Law & Economics as applied on the area of insolvencyKrb, Štěpán January 2017 (has links)
Insolvency law is one of the fields of law that most influence economic relationships. Its creation, interpretation and application is crucial both in ex ante and ex post paradigms, in that it influences the future behavior of legal entities and determines the rights and obligations of creditors, stakeholders and the debtor. Bringing about interpretations which lead to legal uncertainty and to perceived economic injustice influences the tendency to enter into transactions negatively. Therefore, the creation, interpretation and application of insolvency law should follow the principle of the least and necessary ingressions and always serve to fulfill its purpose. All three processes should be - given the prevailing economic dimension of insolvency - complemented by economic analysis as a tool to discover the true effects of insolvency law and to correct the same.

Tanto o sistema de controle de velocidade como o de direção foram testados separadamente em campo / Abstract: One problems of the mechanical harvest of sugar cane is the lack of synchronization between the harvester and field wagon. This problem can causes crop losses as well as reducing operational capacity. The first occurs when the machines are misaligned and part of the sugar cane is thrown out of the wagon. The operational capacity reduce occurring when the machines become misaligned and it is required maneuver to return to working position, these maneuvers take time and therefore represents a reduction of the harvest efficiency. This research aims to develop a system capable of identifying and controlling the speed and parallelism between the sugar cane harvester and the wagon. With the hypothesis that it is possible to synchronize the harvester and the wagon based on logic fuzzy controllers, sensors and GPS. As a control system was used the logic fuzzy that was modeled on the "fuzzy toolbox" of MATLAB Simulink and simulated in MATLAB, with maximum displacement error between the machines of 0.2 m which corresponds to 0.12% and a parallelism error of 5.13% with an offset of 1.5 m. In this simulation, we got the equation and the fuzzy constant as proportional, integrative and derivative that were used in the system to control a slave tractor speed based on the master speed. The first tractor was equipped with GPS, encoder, RF transmitter and mechanical drive acceleration. The second was equipped with GPS, encoder and transmitter. The results were satisfactory since the slave tractor speed followed the master tractor speed with the ranging error from 0.10% to 2.04% in a total displacement of 115 m. To control the direction of the tractor was used the autopilot modifying the information sent by RTK so that the system works as a slave of another vehicle called a master. To evaluate the response time the system was subjected to variations of the offset, the responses was between 7.4 s to 7.9 s. Both the control system speed and steering were tested separately in the field / Doutorado / Maquinas Agricolas / Doutor em Engenharia Agrícola
