Mercado-Barrio

Zagal Rivera, Carla Sofia 07 March 2019 (has links)
The Amazon is a place that still in full S.XXI maintains its distance from the rest of territories, evidencing without a doubt a space that holds deep ancestral knowledge, knowledge that often differ with the rational or with the bases of Western thought, the so-called Amazonian worldview has enabled it to maintain the development of the life of its various societies in balance with its natural environment, something that stands in stark contrast to the cities that hold the evidence of a long history and that throughout it have reached or are in search of a desired "development". However, the context of our time has led us gradually to appreciate the Amazon, beginning by revaluing strategic spaces with a great burden of identity and character, places that promise to be the starting point for other projects with the sole motive of seeking the evolution of forgotten corners that contribute both to their invaluable natural space and to their peculiar societies. One of these places is the market of the district of Belén, a space that is the link between what happens in the jungle itself and in the city of Iquitos, a connecting space that has the faculty to dissolve distances and bring both spaces closer together, both natural and urban. A place with a strong Amazonian identity and a marked urban dynamism that it makes unique. / Tesis

Conjunto Habitacional en el Rímac, mejora del dinamismo social por medio de espacios públicos diversos y equilibrados / Housing Complex in Rímac, improvement of social dynamism through diverse and balanced public spaces

Narvarte Gadea, Richard Oswaldo 04 March 2021 (has links)
The Housing complex in the Rímac arises from the need to densify the city correctly and implement diverse and balanced spaces that contribute to the good social development of the inhabitants. One of the current concerns is urban densification lacking urban spaces for health, safety, leisure, and green areas. Therefore, this thesis seeks to present a model of set rooms that fulfills and rescues urban identity and customs, which have been altered over the last few years by focusing on real estate projects of limited capacity by excluding both urban equipment, social areas and green areas. The project adapts to the existing urban fabric through the arrangement of volumes that allow an adequate location without altering urban readability. Another important importance is that it rescues existing urban morphologies and housing typologies based on modern architecture that predominates in this sector of the Rímac. It also achieves social inclusion through the accessibility of all environments and the flexibility of housing adaptation for the disabled. Finally, a sustainable architectural design and construction system is applied through technological advances such as the use of cell concrete partitioning, high pressure compact sheet facade coating and conventional reinforced concrete construction system. / Tesis

Drivers of manufacturing performance in medium and large scale firms in Ethiopia (evidence from Addis Ababa and its periphery)

Getnet Begashaw Ketema 09 1900 (has links)
Manufacturing performance measures the extent to which the manufacturing plant has built capabilities like low cost, high quality, delivery, and flexibility. The importance of identifying drivers of these capabilities has been underscored by many scholars although limited evidence exists so far regarding this issue. The available evidence is also primarily based on data obtained from manufacturing firms operating in developed and emerging economies and not from firms in developing economies. This study, therefore, bridges this gap by exploring key internal and external drivers of manufacturing performance taking evidence from the manufacturing sector of a developing economy - Ethiopia. A quant-emphasis mixed method approach was used along with cross-sectional survey design to gather data and answer the research questions in the study. The unit of analysis is the manufacturing plant, and hence primary data was collected using multidimensional questionnaires at plant level from 197 medium and large scale firms from Addis Ababa and its periphery. Secondary data was obtained from census reports, the country’s Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), and report on the performance of the Ethiopian economy, which were analyzed qualitatively and the implications to manufacturing performance drawn in the study. A series of scale checks and analyses were made to test unidimensionality, reliability, and validity of measures and then structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze hypothesized relationships. The main finding is that environmental dynamism significantly influences competitive priorities and firm’s strategic orientation, which in turn significantly influence manufacturing decisions. Structural and infrastructural manufacturing decisions eventually significantly influence manufacturing performance when firms place increased emphasis on quality or delivery. The competitive priorities also significantly influence external learning capability of the manufacturing plant, although the influence of strategic orientation on this variable was not significant even at the 0.1 level except in the delivery priority model. Both the competitive priorities and strategic orientation, however, play little role in guiding leadership practices of manufacturing managers. The study further indicates that government support directly influences manufacturing performance, though it does not significantly influence external learning capability. Based on the findings, it is suggested that manufacturing firms should give due attention to what is going on in their external environment and accordingly align their competitive priorities, strategic orientation, and investments in structural and infrastructural resources to enhance plant performance. They should exhaustively utilize the supports provided by government as well. / Business Management / DBL

České "být/mít" proti anglickému "be/have", "have/be"; a anglické "be/have" proti českému "být/mít", "mít/být" na materiále překladů v paralelních textech: Porovnání sémantické a aktuálněčlenské struktury odlišných protějšků / "Be/have", "have/be" as equivalents of Czech "být/mít"; and "být/mít", "mít/být" as equivalents of English "be/have" in parallel texts: a comparison of the semantic and information structure of divergents counterparts.

Procházková, Ilona January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis examines translation counterparts of the English verbs be and have and the Czech verbs být and mít. It focuses on instances with a divergent translation counterpart, i.e. instances in which be corresponds to mít and have corresponds to být in the English-Czech direction, and instances of být being reflected as have and mít as be in the Czech - English direction. The aim of the paper is to determine to what extent divergent verb counterparts are used in the translation, whether the target language has available alternatives with a verb counterpart identical with the original, and what are the motivating factors that influence the choice of a divergent verb counterpart. Another objective is to examine the changes in the syntactic and semantic structure connected with the use of a divergent verb counterpart, and to assess their impact on the functional sentence perspective. The research used material from the parallel Intercorp. A total of 164 examples with a divergent verb counterpart was excerpted and the research was divided into four parts, according to the source language and the verb. The use of divergent verb counterparts was explained mostly by a lexical gap in the target language, or by semantic and stylistic factors and to a smaller extent also by the influence of the...

Aktuální členění věty v psaných médiích / Topic-focus articulation in newspaper and news server

Pirnerová, Helena January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on an analysis of the first sentences of newspaper articles namely from an aspect of the topic-focus articulation, which is expressed in Czech primarily by word order. The word order depending on the increasing communicative dynamism of words in the sentence might be changed from an objective word order if new information follows known or before mentioned information into subjective word order resulting in a reverse order. E.g.: The CEZ group showed record profit of 52 milliard CZK last year, a reverse word order: (literal translation) Record profit (Obj) of 52 milliard CZK the CEZ group(Subj) showed last year. In our thesis, we describe the above mentioned changes and we determine sets of cases comprising the modifications and we attempt to specify kinds of rules and principles resulting in different word orders. The sentence in the case of the subjective word order begins with an object, an adverbial of time, place, or condition. Anyway, not always a sentence constituent at the beginning of the sentence indicates the subjective word order. A significant role in the analysis is played by head- lines, which affect considerably the result. We focus ou attention on sentences expressing a placement on the scene. These sentences are assessed in relation with the head-lines...

Since he had considered the plague as the worst disease of his time, we will focus on the features he had emphasized concerning becoming ill, the therapy and cure. The Sermon of Saint Roque was written by Vieira in 1659 and, according to the author, Portugal was threatened by the plague which had swept across the Algarve Kingdom. Vieira evoked this saint who was traditionally known for helping and curing people that had got the plague. The image of the saint in his sermon was not only employed for offering the cure to the ones who got the disease but also for offering a model of conduct which reflected a kind of knowledge concerning the relation between disease and psychic dynamism. In the description of the saint s misfortunes including the plague, Vieira emphasized the interaction between what was called primary and secondary causes that reflected desire-transgression-disease. Concerning primary causes, punishment revealed a man s fault; as for the secondary causes, air corruption; its change from a vital to a fatal element, would bring disease. This would show man s condition in the world, his loneliness and his potentiality for meeting again the Being / Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar a relação entre adoecer e o dinamismo psíquico em um sermão de Padre Antônio Vieira (1608-1697).

Alignement stratégique des usages du système ERP : Emergence d’une hypothèse culturaliste / Strategic alignment of ERP system usages : emergence of culturalist hypothesis

Chtourou, Nesrine 02 July 2012 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the squares scope of the cultural dimension towards the phenomenon of strategic alignment of IS- subtlety insufficiently analyzed- even to include in depth the impact that can practice the organizational culture on the strategic alignment of ERP system usages, in particular during the post go-live step.A theoretical exploration, relevant to our scientific questioning, appeared to us as indispensable prerequisite to constitute at the same time the foundation and the justification of the proposed modeling. Which was probation of the professional reality with a selection of companies operating in Tunisia and being in the phase of the post go-live of their ERP systems. Making it, it seemed to us more constructive to adopt the qualitative/quantitative complementarity of both approaches at the level of our empirical approach, and it within the framework of a methodological triangulation. Our investigation took place in two waves. During the first one, 5 case studies were led from 16 semi-directive interviews with General Manager, Operational/Functional Director and IS Director involved in the strategic alignment of ERP system usages. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the contents of the interviews, a survey by questionnaire was administered in the second phase with 55 Operational/Functional Director recovering from 22 companies. The diversity of the obtained results confirming at the same time the feasibility and the validation of the modeling research and tends to demonstrate the peculiarity of our reflection in which the main contribution lies in the emergence of an innovative culturalist hypothesis. Which applies the importance of taking into consideration of the organizational culture as stimulating potential of the strategic alignment of ERP system usages, the referee so at the managerial need concerning the control of the strategic alignment of the uses during the post go-live step.
