Afrikaans text / Hierdie navorsing spruit uit die behoefte om doeltreffendheid van hulpverlening by kliente in die ouderdomsgroep elf- tot veertien jaar te verbeter. Die doel was om vas te stel of die projeksietegniek storievoltooiing by vroee adolessente nuttige responsies oplewer. Twee bestaande storievoltooiingsmedia, naamlik die Doss Fabels en die Madeleine Thomas Toets is toegepas saam met ander projeksiemedia en die responsies wat by storievoltooing gekry is, is geevalueer. Deur middel van 'n literatuurstudie is die eienskappe van die vroee adolessent nagegaan. Daar is spesiale aandag gegee aan die probleme wat kliente in hierdie ouderdomsgroep by hulpverlening vir die hulpvertener oplewer. Navorsing dui daarop dat die vroee adolessent 'n relatief hoe risiko loop om wordingsprobleme te ontwikkel. Vanwee die kenmerke van hierdie spesifteke ontwikkelingstadium, is erkende metodes van hulpverlening soos onderhoudvoering, nie altyd die aangewese of mees suksesvolle metode van hulpverlening nie. Tydens die empiriese ondersoek is gevind dat die proefpersone gunstig gereageer het op die storievoltooiingsmedia en nuttige responsies gelewer het. Die gevolgtrekking is gemaak dat storievoltooing as tegniek, moontlik 'n rol te speel het naas die meer bekende projeksiemedia soos die TAT en die OAP as hulpmiddel by diagnose van probleme by vroee adolessente. / This reseach evolved from the need to increase the efficiency of therapy with early adolescents. The objective was to establish whether story completion as projective technique elicits useful responses. Two existing story completion media, the Duss Fables and the Madeleine Thomas Test, were applied in addition to other projection media and the responses were evaluated. The characteristics of the early adolescent were studied as found in the literature. Research indicates that the early adolescent is at risk for various ontological and psychological problems. Because of the characteristics of clients in this specific developmental stage, accepted techniques in therapy, for example the interview, are not entirely successful when counseling early adolescents. It was found that testees responded positively to the story completion media and produced useful responses. The first part of dissertation describes the problematic of problems in education and children prevention in period of early adolescence. Firstly have defined the specifics of this period of development, follow analyse of reasons the birth of education problems by personal factors view and also by influence to social individual environs. After below the description of behaviour problem forms (non-aggressive and aggressive conducts), prevention system in the Czech Republic and description of institutions which helps to solve already incurred problems in education. The second part of dissertation is getting closer to prevention activities of concretely Non- Governmental Organization. It's concerned into the program called "Chobotnička - chance for children and their next development. This part describes targets of program, organization and concept how to choice and select the clients and also including the example of lesson. Integral part is description of each methods using in program. For overall touch in to the work with clients are added case studies. Conclusion of dissertation gives heed to program analysis by provider and clients view and concerned to question about future of this program.

The South African context, in particular, is characterized by a definite need for the facilitation of the development of the youth in a more positive trajectory. Family structures are not always robust enough to support the positive development of the youth, owing to the demands made on single–parent families, amongst other reasons. Community structures may also be less supportive of the development of the youth, because of the impact of the changes associated with the transitional phase of the country during the past sixteen years (Meehan, Peirson & Fridjhon, 2007). Furthermore, young people under the age of 15 years comprise almost a third of the total South African population (Statistics South Africa, 2009), and in the future, they will have to be prepared for an adulthood faced with previously unknown challenges (United Nations Population Fund). The importance of the development of the youth, in order to enable them to contribute to their country in future, is acknowledged by the South African Governement (National Youth Commission website). This study was conducted within the parameters of the newly developing positive youth development (PYD) paradigm. The empirical level of this paradigm is well represented in the literature, indicating that the content areas, or the “what” of PYD, have been well elucidated. However, there is a lack of theory, especially with regard to models describing developmental change (Larson et al., 2004), and evaluation of interventions aiming at the facilitation of PYD. In order to contribute to the answering of the questions regarding the “how” of development, this study had the following main aims: a) the compilation of a theoretical model, describing developmental change in the youth; b) the operationalization of this model for intervention purposes; and c) the evaluation of a programme and the model on which it is based. The study is reported on in an article format, and comprises a total of three articles. The first article focuses on the process of the compilation of a theoretical model by means of: a) the construction of a comprehensive meta–theoretical matrix, b) the integration of theory that features in the PYD literature, and c) the expansion of the latter with theory from other compatible sub–disciplines in psychology. The resultant Positive Youth Development Intervention (PYDI) model provides a process–related description of developmental change ? and is one of the first models to do so. The second article describes the operationalization of the PYDI model, by means of an indication of the relevant constructs, phenomena and processes to be facilitated. Although recent research points to a relation between PYD and self–regulation, there has been no model, describing the role of self–regulation in the facilitation of the positive development of the youth. This study adapted a model from an educational context (Heckhausen & Gollwitzer, 1987 (as cited in Boekaerts & Niemivirta, 2005)), in order to describe the regular self–regulatory processes constituting the bi–directional interactions between the youth and their primary life contexts, as proposed by developmental systems theory (Lerner, 1998), the meta–theory to PYD (King et al., 2005). A further specifc contribution is that the presentation aspects of the programme material, aimed at facilitating the integration thereof, are addressed on a theoretical level. The third article describes the evaluation of the PYDI model and programme, with young adolescents in a school in a rural area as participants. A mixed–methods study, which has been shown to render much richer information than a quantitative study alone, was applied. Although the quantitative data did not prove the success of the programme, the qualitative data suggested that some aspects of self–regulation had indeed been facilitated successfully. A second follow–up assessment, conducted seventeen months later, indicated that certain skills had only become internalized by that time, suggesting that the implementation and evaluation of such a programme should be expanded over an extended time–frame. This study has contributed to the level of theory of PYD, by indicating, a) the lacunae, and b) that theory in compatible sub–disciplinary paradigms could be used in order to devise workable models for PYD. Furthermore, the process–related nature of the PYDI model and programme, owing to its adaptability to different needs, may be adapted and extended to be applicable to the needs of the diverse South African population. Education fosters inclusion : How discourses on "Social and Political Education" school textbooks promote inclusive education during preadolescence and early adolescence in the greek educational context

Over the last decades inclusive education has emerged as the most effective, transformative way to promote and ensure equitable quality education for all and is totally attuned to the 2030 United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development. This thesis aims to conduct research on how inclusive education in greek educational context is promoted through the school subject of "Social and Political Education" with the lens on discourses focusing on ages eleven to fifteen (11-15), during preadolescence and early adolescence. As a method I will use Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) on "Social and Political Education" school textbooks in primary and secondary level following Norman Fairclough’s approach in order to examine whether discursive representations spread throughout these textbooks illuminate and foster the values of inclusion in school material.

Объектом исследования явилась эмоционально-личностное благополучие старшеклассников. Предметом исследования стала взаимосвязь эмоционально-личностного благополучия старшеклассников с межличностными отношениями в классе и их восприятием стилей родительского воспитания. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы (74 источника) и приложения, включающего в себя бланки применявшихся методик и таблицы. Объем магистерской диссертации 115 страниц, на которых размещены 20 рисунков и 14 таблиц. Во введении раскрывается актуальность проблемы исследования, разработанность проблематики, ставятся цель и задачи исследования, определяются объект и предмет исследования, формулируются основная и дополнительные гипотезы, указываются методы и эмпирическая база, а также этапы проведения исследования, научная новизна, теоретическая и практическая значимость работы. Первая глава включает в себя теоретический обзор подходов к изучению благополучия зарубежными и отечественными психологами понятие эмоционально-личностного благополучия, были проанализированы представления о возрастных особенностях старшеклассников. Представлены разделы, посвященные исследованию роли в возрастных процессах отношений в семье и в школе. Выводы по первой главе представляют собой итоги по изучению теоретического материала. Вторая глава посвящена эмпирической части исследования. В ней представлено описание организации и методов проведенного исследования и результатов, полученных по всем использованным методикам: методике «Самооценка эмоционально-личностного благополучя» Л.В. Караптян и Г.А. Глотовой, методике «Субъективное благополучие личности» Р.М. Шамионова и Т.В. Бесковой, социометрического опроса Я. Л. Морено, опроснику «Эмоционально-психологический климат класса», методике «Родителей оценивают дети» Также в главе представлен описательный, сравнительный и корреляционный анализ результатов исследования. Выводы по главе 2 включают в себя основные результаты эмпирического исследования. В заключении в обобщенном виде изложены результаты теоретической и эмпирической частей работы, а также выводы по выдвинутым гипотезам, обоснована практическая значимость исследования и описаны возможные перспективы дальнейшей разработки данной проблематики. / The object of the study was the emotional and personal well-being of high school students. The subject of the study was the relationship between the emotional and personal well-being of high school students with interpersonal relationships in the classroom and their perception of parenting styles. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references (74 sources) and an appendix, which includes forms of the methods used and tables. The volume of the master's thesis is 115 pages, which contain 20 figures and 14 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the development of the problem, sets the goal and objectives of the study, defines the object and subject of the study, formulates the main and additional hypotheses, indicates the methods and empirical base, as well as the stages of the study, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the work. The first chapter includes a theoretical review of approaches to the study of well-being by foreign and domestic psychologists, the concept of emotional and personal well-being, ideas about the age characteristics of high school students were analyzed. Sections devoted to the study of the role in the age processes of relations in the family and at school are presented. The conclusions on the first chapter are the results of the study of theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It presents a description of the organization and methods of the study and the results obtained by all the methods used: the method of "Self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being" by L.V. Karaptyan and G.A. Glotova, the methodology "Subjective well-being of the individual" R.M. Shamionova and T.V. Beskova, a sociometric survey by Ya. L. Moreno, the questionnaire "Emotional and psychological climate of the class", the methodology "Parents are assessed by children" The chapter also presents a descriptive, comparative and correlation analysis of the results of the study. Chapter 2's conclusions include the main findings of the empirical study. In conclusion, the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work, as well as conclusions on the hypotheses put forward, are summarized, the practical significance of the study is substantiated, and possible prospects for further development of this issue are described.
