FundaÃÃo Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Cientifico e TecnolÃgico / The goal is to comprehend how the knowledge related to sex education, acquired and used by sex workers in their professional activity, interferes with their private lives, trying to understand if this knowledge is used with their significant others, when sex involves love and affection in the sex workerâs life outside her workplace. The concept of prostitution, which is, the way that is administrated, is different in different cultures and countries. Prostitution can be found in various places: streets, poor neighborhoods, rich neighborhoods, brothels that accept college girls, stores that make their female employees have surgeries, like liposuction or breast implants. Thatâs why our view as a researcher isnât on prostitution as a whole, but in a specific way. Itâs about female prostitution, according to the lives of sex workers in brothels in downtown Fortaleza, particularly Gata Garota. Therefore, we must first begin there, which is whatâs called âpublicâ (professional life), so we can get into their private lives. My experience as a researcher starts in a scientific initiation project, in which the subject was the educational practices in brothels in downtown Fortaleza. That made possible to notice a reality, unknown until then, full of tabus, which brought with it a world of new knowledge, acquired throughout this journey. This researchâs intent is to know which layers of sex education, learnt and practiced in the professional lives of sex workers, interfere in their private lives. The study was made with the methodological procedure of a qualitative research, of ethnographic nature. Semi-structured interviews (informal conversations) were used as research instruments, which resulted in oral sources, besides field diaries, as another way to collect data. This way, their memories are used as an essential speech element, with which there was an intention of reconstructing a phase or aspect of the sex workersâ lives in downtown Fortaleza. It was concluded that sex workers, in their workplace, take care of their bodies, especially in ways related to sex education with their clients, and most of the women interviewed reflect that attitude in their private lives, with love involved. It was noticed that these sex workers put on âmasksâ, in order to get through a workday. It was observed that it was hard for them to maintain long-term relationships with their significant others, and it was explicit in their faces that they craved affection. / Visa a compreender como os saberes relacionados à educaÃÃo sexual, adquiridos e utilizados na atividade profissional das prostitutas, interferem na vida privada dessas mulheres. Procura-se, entender se esses saberes relacionados Ãs prÃticas sexuais e aos cuidados com o corpo sÃo utilizados com seus companheiros e companheiras, quando a atividade sexual passa a envolver afetos e sentimentos na vida da prostituta fora do ambiente de trabalho. O conceito de prostituiÃÃo, ou seja, a forma como essa à administrada, diferencia-se em torno de cada cultura de um determinado paÃs. Existem vÃrios espaÃos de prostituiÃÃo: rua, zona de baixo meretrÃcio, zonas elitizadas, casas que aceitam garotas universitÃrias, estabelecimentos que exigem das mulheres que ali trabalham o processo cirÃrgico, como a lipoaspiraÃÃo ou mesmo a inserÃÃo de silicone. Por isso, a nossa visÃo de pesquisadores nÃo focaliza a prostituiÃÃo de modo geral, mas sim uma forma especÃfica de manifestaÃÃo. Trata-se da prostituiÃÃo feminina, baseada na vida de garotas de programas nos prostÃbulos localizados no centro da cidade de Fortaleza, particularmente o Gata Garota. Portanto, todas as conclusÃes devem ser consideradas a princÃpio nesse ambiente, o que se chama de pÃblico (vida profissional), para entÃo adentrar a vida privada dessas garotas (vida Ãntima). A experiÃncia como pesquisadora comeÃa em um projeto de iniciaÃÃo cientÃfica cujo objeto de estudo eram as prÃticas educativas nos prostÃbulos do centro da cidade de Fortaleza. Isto fez com que se notasse uma realidade, atà entÃo, desconhecida, repleta de tabus, e que proporcionou um mundo de conhecimentos novos, adquiridos ao longo dessa caminhada. Esta pesquisa traz como problematizaÃÃo saber quais as formas de educaÃÃo sexuais apreendidas e praticadas na vida profissional das prostitutas interfere em seu Ãmbito privado. O estudo trouxe, como procedimentos metodolÃgicos, uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho etnogrÃfico. Como instrumentos de pesquisa foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas, conversas informais, que resultaram na produÃÃo de fontes orais, alÃm do diÃrio de campo, como subsÃdio para o registro das informaÃÃes. Dessa forma, tambÃm se utiliza à memÃria como elemento essencial nos discursos, em que se teve como intuito reconstituir uma fase ou aspecto da vida das profissionais do sexo do centro da cidade de Fortaleza. Conclui-se, assim, que as profissionais do sexo, em seu ambiente de trabalho se utilizam de cuidados com o corpo, principalmente na questÃo da educaÃÃo sexual com seus clientes e a maioria das entrevistadas refletem essa atitude em sua vida particular, cercada por amores. PÃde ser constatado que essas garotas de programas usam espÃcie de âmÃscarasâ, para enfrentar mais um dia de jornada. Foram observadas, a dificuldade de relacionamentos duradouros em relaÃÃo a companheiros ou companheiras e a explÃcita reveladas atravÃs dessas profissionais do sexo.

O presente estudo analisa a prÃtica pedagÃgica da educaÃÃo sexual em duas escolas de ensino fundamental no municÃpio de Floriano-PI. A seleÃÃo das escolas se deu mediante os seguintes critÃrios: ser uma de natureza pÃblica e outra particular; possuir ensino fundamental de quinta a oitava sÃrie, nos turnos manhà e/ou tarde; possuir em seu quadro funcional, alÃm do professor de ciÃncias, outros que trabalhem a educaÃÃo sexual. A pesquisa à qualitativa, do tipo estudo de caso. Professores e alunos foram entrevistados no intuito de melhor caracterizar essa prÃtica educativa. Com esse estudo, conclui-se que as escolas pesquisadas desenvolvem dois tipos principais de educaÃÃo sexual: uma oculta e outra explÃcita, com abordagens mÃdica, pedagÃgica e polÃtica. Os professores demonstram maturidade e entendimento de suas limitaÃÃes e de possibilidades de concretizar a educaÃÃo sexual como prÃtica educativa escolar. E, ainda, concebem a escola como um local ideal para esse exercÃcio pedagÃgico. No entanto, hà consenso apenas que pessoas devidamente capacitadas devam exercÃ-la. Para os alunos, a educaÃÃo sexual à importante e se faz necessÃria por fazÃ-los refletir. Todavia, a falta de integraÃÃo e de sistematizaÃÃo dos conteÃdos abordados, dentre outros fatores, sÃo os que fazem com que a educaÃÃo sexual aconteÃa de forma ainda frÃgil na realidade estudada. Como protagonistas dessa realidade, os prÃprios alunos sugeriram a educaÃÃo sexual que gostariam de ter na escola; contudo, cabe aos educadores repensarem as possibilidades institucionais da escola, repensar o processo burocrÃtico, percebendo-o como uma forÃa capitalizadora da unidade e, portanto, uma questÃo polÃtica e nÃo apenas funcional. / The present study is a qualitative case study research, which aims to analyze the pedagogic practice of sexual education in two schools of elementary teaching in Floriano, state of PiauÃ. The selection of the schools was done by the following criteria: one school must be a public school and the other one must be a private school; both of them must be elementary teaching schools, teaching from 5th to 8th grade, with morning and/or afternoon sessions; both schools must have a sexual education teacher in its staff in addition to the Science teacher. Teachers and students were interviewed with the intention to characterize better the educational practice. Through this study it is possible to conclude that the researched schools develop two main kind of sexual education: an occult one and an explicit one, with medical, pedagogic and politic approaches. The teachers show maturity and understanding about their limitations and possibilities of realizing sexual education as an educational practice of the school. Besides, they conceive the school as the perfect place for that pedagogic exercise. However, they agree that only properly qualified people should exercise it. For the students, sexual education is important and necessary for making them reflect about it. Nevertheless, the lack of integration and systematization of the approached contents, among other factors, makes sexual education happens in a still fragile way in the studied reality. As the main characters of that reality, the students themselves suggested what sexual education they would like to have at school. Yet, it is up to the teachers to ponder about the institutional possibilities of the school and to think over the bureaucratic process perceiving it as a capital force of the unit and, therefore, a political and not only functional subject.

FundaÃÃo Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Cientifico e TecnolÃgico / CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Esta pesquisa à um trabalho sobre a educaÃÃo sexual escolarizada atravÃs do diÃlogo entre a escola e o movimento homossexual no processo de formaÃÃo docente continuada sobre gÃnero e diversidade sexual, realizado pelo Grupo de ResistÃncia Asa Branca â GRAB, em 2007, com educadores/as de escolas pÃblicas de Fortaleza/CE. DiÃlogo sobre a desconstruÃÃo dos significados e sentidos atribuÃdos à sexualidade humana, com o objetivo do enfrentamento Ãs desigualdades sociais oriundas da homofobia dirigida a lÃsbicas, gays, bissexuais, travestis e transexuais - LGBTT. Desse modo, esta pesquisa debate sobre as fragilidades e as possibilidades da escola para o desenvolvimento de prÃticas educativas de reconhecimento e defesa da identidade de gÃnero e da diversidade sexual, visando compreender seus limites e observar suas oportunidades. Assim, pretende-se contribuir para a constituiÃÃo de uma educaÃÃo sexual escolarizada de enfrentamento à homofobia, no sentido de pensar prÃticas educativas que proporcionem relaÃÃes sociais positivas com LGBTT no ambiente escolar. / This research is a paper about sexual educated education through the dialog between school and the homossexual movement in teaching continued formation about gender and sexual diversity, done by The Grupo de ResistÃncia Asa Branca â GRAB, in 2007, with Fortalezaâs public schoolsâ educators. The dialog about the destruction of the meanings and senses attributed to the human sexuality, with the objective of facing the social unequalities born from homofobia directed to lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transexuals â LGBTT. In this way, the present research debates the fragilities and the possibilities of the schools to the development of educative practice of recognizing and defense of the genderâs identity and of sexual diversity, in a way to comprehend its limits and to observe its opportunities. So, it is intended to contribute with the constitution of a sexual educated education on facing the homofobia, in the sense of thinking of educative practices, which provides positive social relationships with LGBTT in the school environment.
